i was talking with @yardsards and they reminded me of how funny amity and hunter being stepsiblings will be but i still think darius deserves someone better than alador. so we decided that yes, alador does divorce odalia and gets together with darius. amity and hunter become stepsiblings and they hate it. but after like a month darius realizes alador is still a cringefail loser and also divorces him. and somehow darius managed to get custody of all three of alador and odalia’s kids so amity and hunter stay stepsiblings. oh and throw in an odalia-darius divorce somewhere in there to balance it out.

and what i think would be even funnier is if the odaladarius trio reconnect after the four divorces between them (aladarius divorced in high school-they were never married but they sure were divorced) and stay friends. in fact, they end up being like, super close good friends with each other. just like in hexside. they just can’t get romantically involved in any combination otherwise they’ll devolve into another intricate web of divorce and custody battles. odalia already lost her visitation rights to amity and the twins alador doesn’t want to lose his as well.
