I did a whole bunch of drawings for Jason's team two weeks back, so now its time to concentrate on Steph's team! Here we've got 4 new characters for her team, with a couple extra tomorrow as well. Lets go into to them, one by one.

First up is the lantern for the group, more specifically a Violet Lantern apprentice aka Miri Riam! Her reasons for coming to earth is unknown at the moment but they seem to have some connection to Carol Ferris. Carol's also a Violet Lantern and Hal's(Green Lantern) on-and-off girlfriend and occasional antagonist. Perhaps Miri was sent to become Carol's apprentice? I've got more info on whats happening there, but thats for later.

As for why Miri was chosen for the group, I knew I wanted some kind of Lantern for the team, but couldn't find a green lantern that was both in Steph's age group and have fun interactions with them. But then I thought, does it have to be a green lantern? I had a red lantern for Jason's group after all. I looked around and found Miri! I don't know her exact age but I knew she was a young adult, so I'm just gonna have her be around Steph's age group.

The Violet Lanterns Corps are very ...enthusiastic about the power of love and Miri's no exception. She wants everyone to know the joy of Love, she's honestly kinda annoying about it. I remember this one GL issue where she was destroying a city just to get Kyle and Soranik to resolve their love troubles. That pretty much became the basis for how I'm writing Miri's personality. Like I said above, I'll get more into Miri at a later time.

Next is Maxine Hunkel aka Cyclone, granddaughter of Ma Hunkel aka the golden age Red Tornado! I already posted a drawing of her a while back, I thought she'd make a fun fit for the team. She's has such high energy and so much enthusiasm I couldn't help but find her utterly endearing. I think at a later point she'll end up joining the JSA but for now she's just having fun with this team.

Btw I thought that maybe her grandmother, Ma Hunkel, could fit a similar role that the other Red Tornado did for Young Justice, helping out a young hero team. Just a way to emphasize how Steph and Tim's teams can serve as foils to each other.

Next up is the archer of the group, Mia Dearden aka Speedy II. Tho she should probably have a different name due to Roy still being Speedy atm. Maybe Speedette? Ehhh, gotta workshop that.

Anyways here's Mia and Steph meeting as civilians, with Mia showing off her bow. Mia seems to be in some sort of school uniform, perhaps Oliver is sponsoring her to go to a fancy academy? Her backstory is similar to canon, with Oliver saving her from bad people. I'm not sure if her story should be exactly the same as canon, since Mia is 10 but terrible things like that do happen in real life to young children. But I don't know if a goofy au like mine is the best place to show that. But for now lets just say Mia is currently trying to heal and become a hero like Green Arrow.

I imagine Steph and Mia get along really well, they just get each other in a lot of ways. Steph can see Mia might be hurting inside and wants to cheer her up, hopefully with all of Mia's new friends she can.

Last up is Jaime Reyes aka Blue Beetle III. Unfortunately I haven't drawn him all that much so no individual drawing for him, tho I do like him.

As for why Jaime, I remember liking him in the YJ cartoon and found him pretty likeable in the comics as well. But I've always like the spiderman hero archetype anyways, which Jaime fits really well (I mean, it was done on purpose). Static and Sideways also fit the archetype and are in the team as well. Arguably you can say add Steph to this too, probably more than Tim in my personal opinion.

Another reason I wanted to add Jaime is that he and Steph almost became teammates in canon, in a failed Young Justice project. What could have been huh. Third reason is more silly tho, if Barbara and Ted Kord start to date in this au, imagine how grossed out Steph and Jaime will be lmao.

So there's four new teammates for the team, but! I've got a couple extra for tomorrow! And later on I hope to finally post some more doodles of these characters (some of them are real old, more than a year old). Especially Miri, she turned out to be such a fun character, and I've always liked the all the lantern corps. Here's a bonus doodle of them btw (with bonus unmasked Sideways):

Dynamics: Part 2, <Next!>

For Apocalypse F! Mikey: Now see Uncle Tello content is great and I love it. But consider this, it’s alr everywhere AND think bout Master Michelangelo /Uncle Mi/ lowkey unspoken Dad!Mikey supremacy ✨👀 think bout uncle Mi being the warm/comforting/ steadying presence that Cj clung to when Leo and April are stuck being the sole two pillars of leadership for the entirely of sentient life on earth and Donnie is off doing his mad scientist things(No hate to D but we know our boi has low empathy and tends to get hyper fixated to the point he ignores everyone. Not that he wouldn’t absolutely try for Junior cuz he would but ya know what I mean) which leaves the Mikey cuz our poor Raphie and Casey Sr died early.

Like Cmon guys hear me out Mike alr has Dr feelings and his ole mediator shtick. you can’t tell me that as he grew and matured it didn’t not grew stronger. Plus he defo Leaned into the whole mediator thing esp with the apocalypse cuz someone defo needed to be the calm mediator in the chaos that was the kraang. Plus he was ALR the most mentally/emotionally stable out of all the fam and a child in a chaotic environment (cough the apocalypse cough) is gonna unconsciously gravitate towards that. And mikey being mikey is then absolutely gonna white knuckle his “I’m emotionally healthy” even more cuz we got a kid now. We gotta make sure he grows up with SMTH.

Plus I like to think everyone had diff roles in raising Cj. Eg: Cj spends time with tello if he wants to hang out and blow shit up or wants to brainstorm tangible solutions. but if he needs/wants emotional support or emotional safety he goes to Mikey and if he wants all of the above plus advice in general it’s Leo and Comander April lmao (but 7/10 times it’s Leo). Side note: Before Raph died he and mikey used to tag team M’s role and April’s role was formerly Cassandra’s but welp we all know what happened 😭. Also I just wanna make it clear that these roles weren’t always hard and fast rule. It’s just generally the common status quo but was still subject to change depending on the circumstances cuz ppl are ppl and ppl are complex. Like if Cj was feeling particularly scared for Dee or April’s mortality I can guarantee he glomped them. And they let him.

Edit: In any case, their dynamic is basically all round calm, slow and cozy vibes. Cuz like I said, Mikey was acting as Cj’s living sentient equivalent of a warm, weighted blanket. Plus mystic overuse/cursed aging gave Mikey a lot of chronic fatigue and plus Mi leaning hard into the whole mediator thing rlly made him mellow out esp when he had to be responsible for a kid. So most of their hanging out was either sitting around talking about their day, making up stories bout random objects they found like ‘I bet that cup has a chip in cuz an alligator got it’ ,Cj ranting, mystic training, lots and lots of snuggles or (big shocker I know) Mikey reading to Cj (don’t Judge Cj, he finds Uncle’s Mi voice calming. And as tor Mikey, options are limited when you’re old, physically frail and in an apocalypse) or them reading whatever they can find in comfy silence with the occasional comment of ‘man this character is so stupid’ and ‘I know right!’ Or ‘im pretty sure this accident report is faked.’ Also In the earlier days when resources weren’t so scarce and Mikey had more energy they used to draw on the walls tgt using chalk but well.. stuff like that don’t last very long in the apocalypse.

For Past/present time: Once Cj starts to properly distinguish between future and present and feels a little more ready to start properly interacting with P!fam. He starts to build a stable relationship with Mikey. their dynamic is one of more equal standing cuz of the lack of age difference aka the big theme for this dynamic is all abt growing up tgt. This creates a more free and unrestrained dynamic where both feel more encouraged/safe to try new things cuz they don’t have to worry bout any hovering from any older siblings (sorry Leo he tries but even he can’t fully escape the big brother instincts even towards Case. Which is hilarious cuz Cj is the most self sufficient out of everyone XD ) and cuz they don’t have to worry bout looking stupid in front said older siblings if they fail/ being coddled if they fail. Initially it was a very big whiplash for Casey to adjust to the fact that someone he used to look for answers/ be a pillar was just as clueless as he was AND the fact he could freely argue back with said someone due to the lack of age difference.

But once both parties settled in, they have alot of fun just being kids and messing around. Honestly their dynamic is adorable. With Mikey’s more adventurous and more hopeful personality helping Cj start to relax a little more and start acting more like the 15 year old he is. And Cj’s more serious and sensible mindset helps Mikey become a little more thoughtful/cautious as he’s more open to Cj’s criticism cuz it feels alot less condescending than the rest of the fam due to the age similarity.

This dynamic also plays a part in Cj’s adjustment to the past. Due to said adventurous behaviour, Mike always wants to show Cj new things. And his emotionally intuitive nature helps him pick up when Cj is uncomfortable but doesn’t always feel comfortable saying it or can just generally quickly pick up the warning signs of a trigger. So after some trial and error Mikey gets pretty good at knowing when to push and pull Case out of his comfort zone or just out right cancel an outing cuz Dr feelings can sense the ensuing panic attack/ PTSD triggers. Which Casey rlly appreciates. On the flip side, Cj is the biggest advocate (second to Leo) for letting Mikey do his thing cuz he knows what Mikey is capable off and isn’t blinded with older sibling instincts. Which Mikey greatly appreciates. We stan mutually supportive siblings.

And as the youngest, they both bond (mostly Miguel talks, Cj listens oh how the tables turn) over how frustrating it is to see the rest of their family (for Cj it’s him using his experience with F!Fam to relate to P!Mikey cuz the P!Fam don’t rlly baby Casey the same way/the obvious extent they do for Miguel. For Mikey, it’s more they water down info either intentionally/unintentionally or try to stop him from doing stuff cuz they want to protect him. And for Cj, it’s more them trying to be extra subtly careful of his sore spots. Like Legit cuz of Cj, everyone at some point had independently googled ‘how to care for war-torn ptsd riddled relative’ and ‘how to help someone with material insecurity issues’ or ‘how to support someone going thru bereavement’. For once it wasn’t only Mike reading psych stuff lmao) trying to water things down for them like dums dums XD.

They also tag team the rest of their family with the combined powers of their puppy dog eyes and shared status as “baby’s of the family” to get out of trouble/get what they want like the gremlins they are 😂. Generally when hanging out they’re either doing things action driven stuff (a stark contrast to F!Mikey and Cj. Cuz P!Mikey is younger, less traumatised and hasn’t been peepawed) like graffiti (Mikey sprays full on masterpieces and Cj loves spraying colourful doodles cuz he’s delighted to play with all sorts of bright colours and see the pretty art Anglo makes that Cj didn’t have the luxuary of seeing in the apocalypse, so despite the huge skill gap, which is rapidly becoming smaller, they still have fun tgt), skateboarding, playing video games, parkour or Mikey kidnapping Cj to show/get him to try smth he didn’t get to do in the apocalypse, *cough the occasional arson cough* Like I said they’re awesome lmao

On a side note: both Cj and Mikey are very happy to have a cool brother/friend who is the same age as them. For Cj it’s cuz fellow kids were very rare back in his time. Meaning the kids that were round him were either much older or much younger so same age friends is very much a novel experience lmao. As for Mikey, although he does call Cj baby brother( he doesn’t actually enforce that unless in certain situations like Cj in distress or trying to get Cj to do Miguel’s part of chores lmao) most of the time he’s happy to not be alone in his age grp of family/friends cuz it can get a little lonely sometimes. Raph, April and Casey have each other, Donnie and Leo have each other and now Mikey and Cj have each other! Yaayyy

17. マトリョシカ — hachi

LMAO idk if anyone is gonna remember this wip bc i talked about it so randomly and so briefly awhile back but these (and most vocaloid songs in general that are my faves which is a lot of stuff by hachi lol) make me think of my wip broken clouds. its similar to train master chidori in the sense that it's should be a webcomic or a web novel type of thing but gl getting me to draw that much--i will one day prommy.

anyway the very basic premise is this:

utah (he/they) and his younger sibling slug (they/them) have been living with their mother's elder sister, risky game (aka aunty(ie) risk) since they were small, ever since their mother disappeared without a trace and the siblings were found malnourished. risk barely takes care of them, preferring to drink and gamble and leave them to their own devices leading each kiddo down their own path. utah, the elder and more tempermental of the two, lashes out but also is practically a genius when it comes to engineering and weaponry. after meeting his other half, gator (he/she/they), he turns to building and reassembling weapons from the parts remnant of 'the great cloud war' (idk what it was ask me or don't i'll pull shit out of my ass SDBK) to make money and eventually decides when they turn adult age to say fuck it, i'm gonna go find my mom bc this shit blows. origninally it was only supposed to be utah and gator striking out on their own to find out what happened, but slug ends up tagging along bc they want to know too + adventure + they have abandonment issues after the mom thing and risk ends up getting dragged with them because like hell does she trust them to not get themselves blown up (but also in part because she feels guilt; she knows that she wasn't the best parental figure to either of them, but she was so shaken over her sister's disappearance that she took her guilt and anguish out by not being there for the kids its a whole thing). and utah isn't happy about this but they are Barely convinced to let slug and risk come with bc as gator says "family bonding, what can go wrong!"

she used to be my persona, but there was a stint where i humanized her and made her a black woman and i, as a white man, didn't want to claim that energy lmao

in her universe, the dying gods made 5 "avatars" of their elements to rule their subjects. rae and her siblings are those elements, with rae representing the stars above, her older brother alifer representing water, evangeline and fire (later stone and metal), and twins casimir and circe with nature and the skies respectively

they have a big war eventually, evangeline has her emo arc, and all of the siblings stop talking to each other and rule their own separate kingdoms

one day, rae just leaves her kingdom and never returns, leaving her subjects floundering while she skips off to do whatever, and that whatever ends up getting her put in hibernation for another thousand years or so

she wakes up to a kid finding her and she takes on a motherly role to him, then she collects two more kids and they become a little adventuring party. her starness makes her really good at prophecy and magic in general so she teaches these 3 kids (now young adults by the time they're all together) magic. yaay cool family unit

the big main character of her universe is a fire sprite named cyl who becomes the "new rae" aka head of the party and kind of leader of another kingdom with the rest of the group

not super important to her backstory, but rae also has endless toxic(? not as toxic as it could be, depends on when we're talking) yuri with a person named friday who keeps getting reincarnated and they find each other in every lifetime, they're cute and i love them and eventually i'll draw them together again (need to ask friday's creator if she has a new design.. i'll do that eventually)

technically this is supposed to be more like a draft of how her design should be - aka i might tweak or change things still - but i quite like what i have for her right now, so hopefully, no changes will be happening any time soon anyway)

super funsies drawing notesies:

the scribbles, from top to left then right bottom - appearance design, hypothetical splash art (though it's mostly just a nonsense doodle), hypothetical battle screen visualization (again mostly just a nonsense doodle though)

her outfit is meant primarily scream "summer vacaaaaaay!!" vibes in the overall fit and colors, with a touch of silvery-blue-gold flowers (ie Irminsul/Imaginary Tree) and stars (which is seen in the semi-speckled nature of the otherwise floral patterns + in the glitter of the sheer fabric) - she also has a bit of her original Harbinger/Teyvat origins via her mask and Delusion still being very visibly carried on her person.

for her hypothetical splash art: -She's meant to be sitting on a sandy beach; -Her tree connections are metaphorically and fantastically visualized into a halo that spirals upwards, though some of its blooms and leaves fall from it and disappear into the sand and waves; -The sand would have half-buried seashells and marbles depicting entire solar systems and galaxies, representing lost/dead/distant worlds thanks for the inspiration vita; -The ocean itself would be very dark and somewhat starry; this is meant to represent space but also the sea of quanta; -TBH i started doodling this just bc i thought "i want a tonitoni with a halo" and somehow it turned into me trying to figure out how to paint water at 12am

for her hypothetical fighty time: -Honestly i dont see tonitoni as a playable unit at all so this was really just me doodling for the hell of it; -Still i thought itd be funny to imagine tonitoni needing to fight but she would be super grumbly about it bc this is her vacay!!!!!!!! why is she exerting effort like this!!!!!!!!!!!!; -But anyway if she ever got into a fight, she'd just pull out her signature weapon (that i still havent finalized the design of....... god designing is hard) from hammer space and go to town i guess -Also if you haven't realised yet, that portrait and hp and everything is a complete joke. 69 energy? really? 4444 hp? lmaooooo -Though whether her ult. would actually be anything Fatui-related to use the Fatui symbol................... well that's a fun thonk so i threw it in but otherwise who knows lmao

but first a huge thank you to @love-you-fo-rever for helping me make her and develop her lore!! oh and a btw, any art of remy that I use will more than likely come from kat bc I can’t draw lmao

Okay okay okay lore time

Remy was the prototype created right before the CYN drones were made. Her little PN thing is CYR, but she is the only drone of that type due to a bug in her code. Remy cannot ever be fully 100% charged. You know how cell phones have a maximum capacity for their battery? Yeah, so that maximum drops over time, so even if your phone shows it’s 100% charged, if your maximum capacity is (for example) 90% then really ur phone is 90% charged (this is just my understanding of it, this probably isn’t how it actually works oops). It’s basically the reason why phones seem to die faster and faster over time.

So, Remy’s max isn’t 100% (I haven’t decided what it is lol), and she basically has narcolepsy as a result. I also like the idea that the code, which I just keep calling the REM code, was supposed to allow the drones to charge faster/have more energy bc they would be in the drone equivalent of REM sleep. Idk I haven’t worked out all the logistics yet. Anyways, because of the faulty REM code, she also doesn't always sleep through a whole REM cycle, meaning that sometimes she doesn't/can't even recharge to her max. The code couldn’t really be fixed without fucking up everything else and so she was the only version of this drone to be made since they caught the bug very quickly.

This glitch is also why her eyes are different colors. Her eyes were both originally the light blue/teal color, but after her first REM cycle, the glitch took effect and as a result one of her eyes became a darker blue (aka I wanted her to be quirky and different and I also thought it would be fun for that to be the like, tell (for lack of a better word), that she is glitched) Also, when Remy sleeps, her face doesn’t just say “sleep mode” or whatever, it just says REM, hence how she got her name.

She was one of Tessa’s drones. Idk how the Elliot’s got her, maybe the same way they found Cyn? Idk, I haven’t thought that out yet. Anyways, Tessa loves her and thinks it’s silly how Rem will just suddenly fall asleep and loves to like cuddle with her when she does. Her parents have definitely found them curled up together asleep in the most random places. Of course, Tessa names her Remy after seeing her in sleep mode. Tessa’s parent didn’t want to keep Rem, but how could they say no to their precious daughter, I mean she’s even given the drone a name! But since Remy’s glitched, Tessa’s parent don’t really care for her. They only let her stick around because Tessa loves her. They kind of just ignore her. Remy isn’t bothered by this because that means that she tends to go unnoticed and can therefore get away with shit. She has definitely snuck Tessa some treats after bedtime and such. Oh, and she has red hair because Tessa saw her blue eyes/core and was like "red will look so good on you girl" (I get the vibe that Tessa always wanted her drones to look as like stylish as possible)

Remy is chill with all the other drones before everything goes to shit. They all understand that she can't really be of much use due to her being a potential hazard, but they would definitely try to include her when possible. However, she was still able to easily hide away/be forgotten about (for lack of a better term).

Okay so now to the trauma weeeee

Remy was Cyn’s first victim. I imagine that since Remy is typically ignored/hidden in the shadows, nobody really notices she’s gone. She def went missing a little bit before Cyn killed everyone. The dragon wings were the first wing design Cyn tried out (definitely not because I love dragons nope never). But, Cyn didn’t really like them and kept messing around with them therefore damaging the membrane. Remy was tortured, going through constant changes thanks to Cyn. Since she was essentially Cyn’s practice toy, she practically got taken apart and put back together multiple times.

Rem knows she was tortured, but she doesn’t remember much of it. She slowly gets her memories back after the events of the show cause something to trigger and make her remember. She also knows that N doesn't have his memories, and she knows it's because of V somehow, but she doesn't know all the details.

She has the male murder drone legs because she did it to herself. Cyn originally gave her the peg legs, but Remy absolutely hated them. She had a hard time keeping her balance and she would fall a lot more whenever she would randomly fall asleep. So one day, they’re out on a mission or whatever and they stumble upon a dead disassembly drone and Rem’s so fucking done with the peg legs that she literally cuts them off and welds the other legs to her (hence the scars around her legs).

She’s a masochist for sure. She’s also more rebellious since she could get away with a bunch of shit before everything happened. She’s quiet at first, but after the show as she grows closer with everyone (and works through some shit) she breaks out of her shell. I feel like she has some sort of Doberman/German Shepherd/Pitbull energy. She's like very protective over everyone, like V levels of overprotective.

Okay, that's all of the Remy lore for now, there's definitely more I could include but I also kind of want to make those separate posts. I'm literally obsessed with her Kat seriously ate. I'm so excited to start writing out like little scenarios and stuff!!!

FIRST SOLDIER CHAPTER 2 SPOILERS:

The boy's name is Rosen. And the island is called Sijad, one of the various islands around the Rhadore archipelago. Our team needs to get over to their perspective mako reactor site by boat. He wants the rando trio off his island ASAP, though they sorta make friends with him by running errands for him and his dog.

Rosen lives by himself and draws attention to the big fire chimney near his house. It's very important to him.

He tells the gang how Rhadorans view mako energy as "mana", something spiritual and sacred. And when the mana is disrupted through various means, crazy destructive nature shit happens. Rosen's ancestors have experienced it throughout generations.

It's basically Rosen's job to watch for that stuff. He's basically the guardian of the island, stuck there to watch nature until he dies. Mystical mumbo jumbo idk. His official title is The Eye of Rhadore.

The chimney is basically a means of communicating with the Rhadore folk from across islands. They have different signals and warnings they can send to each other. But Rosen is stuck there alone to perform his duties.

The boat needs a battery so our group heads out to fix it. Rosen warns them that calling in a search party would REALLY fuck with the mana here. Aka if certain silver-haired catboys show up.

Matt is REALLY pushing for that distress signal. Glenn's doing all this for the reward money, since his grandma's in the hospital. Aww.

They fight a giant sea-goblin thing while getting the battery for the boat.

Glenn clearly cares about Rosen despite them being enemies. Rosen is sad and pissy that these three assholes are heading to the other island and will likely run into his people there. He openly tells them that hey, maybe they'll die once they reach to the mainland. This little guy's pretty savage lmao. But rightfully so because...Shinra.

Anyway, the boat's good to go. Rosen is glad to have gotten the chance to talk to someone, but still very much wants them to gtfo. Glenn gives him a pat. Awww.

Theorizing that Glenn is probably gonna be attached to this kid but not Seph. I sense a Seph-Glenn rivalry brewing, probably over the whole "hero/new soldiers replacing the old" thing. But Glenn is genuinely soft about Rosen and that's kind of sweet.

Off to the mainland! Apparently there's a Chapter 3 so I will recap that as well once I've finished!

oof that is tricky lmao. Apollo rules over literally so many things and many people liken him to Loki and Lucifer in terms of energy, personality, and things they rule/have interest in. What is the area in life you are currently struggling in? Since Apollo rules over the arts, as well as prophecy (divination), healing, knowledge etc. there could be many areas in your life that he wants to work on or bring focus to. In the same vein, the things he rules over aren't so exact and one dimensional. While yes, he rules over the arts, think about what art is, what art requires and takes from the producer. It takes thought, creativity, time, effort, knowledge, etc. If the most specific thing is the light and guiding you to his light, it could be that he is trying to illuminate parts of your life, to draw attention to the shadowy bits within you, aka healing. It truly depends on so many variables, but I have no doubt that you'd be able to figure it out! Working with Apollo is fun, he's goofy, but extraordinarily helpful if you allow him to be. I would suggest first, doing some research on Apollo, things he rules over, things he likes, and then search within yourself, what parts of you align with parts of him? Then you can give him an offering and allow him to guide you if you choose! If not, politely decline! Good luck!

Viva never forces Harvey to watch horror movies with her, but sometimes he'll try to watch them with her for her sake. Always ends with him cowering in Viva's arms

Viva brings excitement into Harvey's life, while Harvey brings stability into Viva's life. Both things that they desperately need

They're both totally useless when it comes to romance. It's not that they don't do anything nice for each other — that couldn't be farther from the truth — they just get super flustered trying to carry their acts of romance out. Losers

Harvey was a little scared of Viva at first. She's not intimidating per se, but he did think that she was going to be a very loud and reckless party-loving person. Reckless? Sometimes. But a few conversations with her made him realize that she's actually really chill and usually matches the energy of whoever she's talking to. She also probably confessed to him at one point that she spends an ungodly amount of time making mental scripts for social interactions to keep from making a fool of herself and Harvey was like "oh wow she's just like me"

ok, so rn im imagening that the Upside Down isn't the only other dimension and of course Dustin stumbles upon the first small creature that made it through.

It's a lill dragon, think terrible terrors from httyd, and Dustin is in love TM, bc holy shit he just found a DRAGON, that is nerd heaven for him. So, naturally he takes it in.

However, homie is smart enough not to pull another D'Art, but also not willing to let his new friend go. So, he claims that he saw something in the wood and it didn't look from this world, which naturally draws the whole party out.

He covertly lets his new friend out - he probably named him Smaug, the nerd <3 - and they all set chase to either catch it or see where it goes.

Smaug is both small and slippery, so it's more an undignified chase, though no one will ever admit that lmao.

Meanwhile, Smaug is chittering, trying to find his colony again and hearing their chitters back, meaning he leads all of them to this new portal. ...Aaaand that the dragons on the other side of it have become aware of its existance when they stumble upon it.

I'm mostly imagining the DnD part of the party's faces lol (especially Dustin, bc holy shit Smaug has BIGGER buddies than he thought and holy shit this might end up bad, like D'Art's buddies had).

I can't decide, who has the magic Dragon whisper powers, but im leaning Steve bc he has Disney Princess energy and can you imagine how sour Mike will be lmao.

Then they either get to dissapear into this other world and leave that fucked up world behind (aka using escapism as a coping mechanism (oehhh, you can also have only one person discovering it and going with the dragons and it being a metaphor of them escaping into their own mind and ultimately killing themselves, which is v dark and sad, but it came to me and I had to share it.))

Or they train the dragons and go terrorize the goverment, bc they deserve that <3 (and like Nancy exposes the whole Upside Down thing) and now we all live in a world with dragons bc that would be so so so cool and I want that for myself xp

Headcanons about my HL OC!

First thing to know, I have one main oc that I sometimes put in other universes. She's like the typical favorite child of mine out of all the OC's lmao. So whenever I am hyper-fixating on a series or game, I put a different version of her in there. She does have her own full story though, but that isn't important for the Heilwald stuff.

This is a long ass explanation. It's the curse of being a fanfic writer as I tried to make it as short as possible yet failed BADLY.

So for the Heilwald Loophole AU: -Her name is Laura (REDACTED). She's 12, just going into her teens, and is the loophole buddy of the player! -She sadly has gotten a huge part of amnesia after the loophole appeared. Why and how no one knows. -She calls herself Heartlock most of the time and thanks to the part amnesia, she thinks it's her last name. Somehow nobody could figure out what it actually is or couldn't tell her. -She kind of has a punk, laid-back energy. She's also chaotic and feral as shit. -She has a few cusses in her sleeves, and just somebody screaming "Language!" won't do much.

-Speaking of language, she's Dutch and can speak English! She's bad at Deutch lmao, which makes her stay at the Klinikum even more chaotic. (She only wants to learn German cuss words to piss Randolph off which causes her to become buddies with the chef) -Her outfit doesn't matter (aka haven't figured it out yet) but she does have a necklace around her neck with a plectrum hanging on it. Although she doesn't remember a lot of her past, she knows that this triangle is the most important thing she possesses. She also loves to dress in black and pink and has upper-arm-length dark brown hair with a braid in front of her ear. -She knows she can play the guitar, but where the guitar is, she's not allowed in. -Doesn't come into the bathhouse. -Backstory in only a few sentences: Had a family with parents and brother. Family died (first brother and mother, later on, the dad). (Older) brother was the one who taught her from young on how to play the guitar. After her family died she had nowhere else to go, until they found out she had a grandfather her dad didn't have contact with anymore whom she never met. They asked him if he would want to take care of her and he accepts, making her move to the Heilwald Klinikum (Surprise, surprise, the old chief is her grandpa.) -This also means she saw the Klinikum before Randolph arrived. Meaning she bonded with a lot of people and saw how most of them changed into horrible things. -She was the entertainer of the patients, playing her guitar in the cafeteria and sometimes hanging around in the patient's rooms on request. -She's closest with Nurse Helene and Astrid. -She also has her own space in the chief's office/room as she was his relative. She could do whatever she pleases, as long as she let the chief do his job once treating a patient. -Only a few staff members know she's the grandaughter of their chief.

With Player: -The first time Player meets her is when he runs away from Randolph. They will run into each other when Player opens a door as she leads him to someplace to hide when Randolph gets close. The next time he sees her is when she's drawing at a table in an unused office where he thanks her for helping him and making an agreement that she will join him. (She sees potential in him to break the loophole after he managed to sedate Randolph)

-She will be the humor break throughout all the horror. Making sarcastic jokes and y'know, being a literal child like she is. Sometimes during peaceful walks where there aren't any dangers around she'll tell some things about the hospital and the staff, including stories from the past and the present. Just like the trash collector's thoughts. She speaks more mysteriously about Randolph and more warmly about the nurses (Mainly Astrid and Helene).

-As she has a bit of amnesia about who she fully is, she will have a moment where she'll remember her true self after going together with the Player (her breaking in) into Hauser's places. Her guitar was stolen found by Hauser and taken to the attic a few months ago. When she gets the urge to hold the guitar she also gets the urge to play a little. When she does play a few chords, she'll find that something feels missing. Once she notices the plectrum around her neck, she undoes it from the necklace and holds it up in the air, ready to strike the strings, only to get huge parts of her memory back and know her real name and why she's here.

-I don't remember where this stuff is from, but one time the Player got knocked out, and instead of going through a loophole he kept lying on the ground passed out. He wakes up with Heartlock by his side and asks her why she does it and all she says is. "You got knocked down BAD, so I just lied down with you so you wouldn't feel embarrassed. She kicked your ass hard though. I've been lying here for at least 20 minutes!"

-Sadly for her story, she will die in the end. I'd like to think the Player tries multiple attempts to save her from her demise by trying different tactics and places to loop too but still fails to do so. She will be killed by a mutant after leading it away from the Player who's in trouble, saving him. She knew he would be the one to end the loophole, and knowing she had nothing to go to after the loophole ended, she decided to sacrifice herself for the others. The last time before the player leaves her corpse, he lays down beside her, as a call back to the "You passed out and I don't want you to be embarrassed" moment.

-The loophole he goes in then is one of the last ones, before the dental stuff happens. Something happens in the hole, and he wakes up in Randolph's area. Surprisingly, Randolph isn't there to greet him at the door. The only thing he finds there is Heartlock's plectrum lying on the same table she drew at on their first proper meeting. He takes it with him as a lucky charm before going to Helene and the dental place.

Headcanons of Heartlock with Randolph cus they have such a fun dynamic (I included a few headcanons of you and other HL writers.:

-They have this kind of hate-like dynamic.

-"What's with this sassy… lost child?"

-Has no idea she's his former chief's relative as there are no notes to be found about her, only that she's an important patient that has a permanent stay until reaching proper adult age. The workers who know her very well also don't tell him about it as they don't trust him.

-She disliked this guy's guts upon first meeting him. She also isn't sure if he had something to do with her grandfather resigning, but at first, she's wary of him.

-Warming up was hard from both sides. Randolph wasn't used to a hyper child walking into his office and making themselves at home, yet once he told her (a few weeks in) to get out he started missing the usual background noise of her shuffling around or humming a tune.

-Although he is now the chief of the place, he still allows her to have her space in the chief's office although she doesn't go there often anymore. (Unknoweling showing that he likes her presence.

-First tried to discipline her to stop cursing, only to realize after some time that didn't do shit and started cursing himself around her.

-She sometimes assists him out of her own free will, like asking if he wanted something to drink when she's going to walk around for a moment. Beware though, if she's pissed off at him you can 100% expect it to be a salty drink.

-She jokes around a lot with him and her current goal is to hear him actually laugh. For now, after 4 whole months, she managed to get a slight chuckle out of him which he still denies till this day.

-Is one of the only few people to be allowed to call him by his first name.

-At one point Randolph wants to stab her with a syringe and on the other hand he would crush your jaw if you lay the wrong hand on her.

-Randolph is the reason she's not allowed to go into Hauser's place anymore. She tried getting her guitar back so many times but every time he put it somewhere else. Once having enough of it, Hauser told Randolph that she was vandalizing his place and should be banned. It worked and she still has a grudge against Randolph because of it.

-Heartlock loves surprise-hugging people, especially aggressive ones. This goes on once they are further in their bonding progress. She once tried to surprise hug him from behind, only to get jabbed in the neck with a syringe. She immediately bolted out of the room to yell out to the closest nurse to catch her as she didn't want Randolph to do it (Not that he would lmao).

After that incident, she didn't speak to Randolph for two full weeks and did pranks on him to annoy him even more. Like wetting a few documents so he has to redo them, replacing sugar with salt for his coffee, etc. He ends up begrudgingly apologizing to her but also warned her to speak up before hugging him from behind, to which she replied that it would not be a surprise hug anymore if she had to yell before taking action. They're still figuring this one out but right now, she hasn't given him a hug yet. And seeing her hug all the other staff (before their mutation took place), made Randolph feel quite sour.

-During the downfall of the Klinikum, she hit depression. As if her family's death wasn't enough, seeing this place fall and the patients slowly getting neglected started breaking her spirits. From faking her smile whilst entertaining people, to fully giving up on entertaining at all she now roams the halls out of pure boredom.

-They don't get into a father-daughter bond but his way of grounding her is placing her in the padded cell for a few hours. She doesn't go insane though, but thanks to sweetly convincing Nurse Anne to let her keep her drawing supplies, she drew over the walls to make it easier to cope with her alone time. And to make it easier for future patients. They somehow failed to get the scribbles off the walls. Randolph never made a comment about it.

-Also when it's her turn for checking up on dental care, Randolph takes good care of her. Like, normally checking it without any jaw pressure therapies. Other people have to suffer though.

-She has blackmail from Randolph thanks to being located close to the office. (I headcanon that there must be a secret room somewhere close to the chief's office where she can slack off to which is close to next his office, making her sometimes see and overhear certain things.

-Probably started a rumor that Randolph is somehow gay and everyone has heard that rumor at least twice. Guy can't do shit to stop that rumor though as he couldn't land any bitches.

-I'd like to think before Randolph's mutation began and Heartlock dies, she excuses herself from the Player before he enters the Bathhouse to talk to Randolph. They meet up and she tells him how she truly feels about him and what he's done to the place. Telling him he's become a monster for making this loophole happen and that she's now stuck with it, seeing her only chance of freedom as literal death, basically stating a hidden depression lingering back there. After saying she hopes the Player wins and tells Randolph her real name after remembering it, she leaves him be to return to the Player. Randolph got himself stuck in a room after that and only loud screams followed after. He has no idea that she died until he saw the plectrum in the player's hand before falling into the loophole.

-It is said about her that she was the only spark of light the hospital had left of happiness and hope. After she was found dead, a few lights in the hospital dimmed. But the loophole light got brighter.

Idk why but I can just imagine Jackson and Laura running from one of the staff members who speak in German while chasing the player, with Laura responding in a horribly pronounced German curse word, and Jackson just screaming "I DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE SAYING AND THAT MAKES IT SCARIER!!!"

Anyways, as payment for this lovely information, here is some more information about Jackson:

Jackson gets tired extremely easily. This, combined with him being extremely light, results in him being extremely easy for a staff member to just pluck off of the floor and run off with. Like, if you push him he will just fall over, that's how light he is. It is really concerning.

Jackson doesn't understand basically anything in German besides "I don't speak German." "Can you speak English?" "Hello" "Good afternoon" "Help me" and "kiss me". He only learned the last phrase because a girl in highschool spoke German, and he wanted to shoot his shot (didn't succeed, sadly. Got water thrown at him). However, sometimes he mixes the phrases up whenever he gets really scared, which results in him saying "kiss me" at random instead of like... "Hello" or something. Almost got knocked out at the Oktoberfest because of this. Also, probably got pinned down by Dr. Randolph at one point, tried to scream "Help me" so the player would help, only to scream "Kiss me". Caused Dr. Randolph to pause for a second, extremely concerned and confused as to why the man he just threatened to remove the liver of is now screaming at him to kiss him, which gave Jackson the chance to literally slip away due to his scrawny self just crawling out of his grasp. Jackson learned nothing from that encounter besides the fact that screaming "Kiss me" to enemies might be a good tactic in fight or flight scenarios. (New fear response unlocked: flirt)

Jackson loves mashed potatoes and squash because they are easy for him to eat and filling. He has a hard time eating anything involving meat due to it being a coarse food, but he does so, anyway. He is allergic to carrots, apples, cherries, and a bunch of other foods, but is completely unaware of it, due to the reactions being more internal (causing damage to the esophagus without an easily noticable reaction, thus making food more difficult to eat overtime), so he eats them because he likes the taste.

Jackson has a slight avoidance of food. He will eat at least twice a day, but he sometimes decides to forego eating, even when hungry, due to it being painful to swallow. He does indulge in a lot of food whenever there is something easy to swallow or food that is just too tasty to pass up. Another time when he will eat a lot of holidays, because he feels he would be out of place or impolite if he doesn't. This has resulted in times when he was little where others at parties would, half-jokingly and half-concerned, ask if he was being starved at home. Just imagine a scrawny little kid chowing down on 12 plates of mashed potatoes with melted cheese at a Christmas party, then you might get the concern.

He would also vehemently refuse going into the bathhouse. He would take one step in their, see Dr. Wolfram, then back the hell outta there. He would be way too embarrassed by just walking into a room with a shirtless man, because poor Jackson is bisexual and in denial, and it would just startle him so badly. Also add the fact that he is like... In a completely different country, so he is extremely unsure if walking into a bathhouse at a hospital and seeing the aqua therapy instructor in nothing but their swimsuit is normal, and he is too embarrassed to ask questions.

Jackson is probably going to survive. Not without a few mental scars, but he will survive.

~ Eddsworld Deathnote au ~ (character roles introduction post)

To start off, I haven't drawn the characters in Light and Misas roles, but I will spill who the characters are. Larry and Bing are the roles of Light and Misa, but they are VERY different from Light and Misa.

To give a brief rundown, Bing finds the Deathnote first, but he's dumb as rocks, and so Larry is the smarter one who takes the lead and is chill with Bing just taking the credit lmao. Bing has the Shini Eyes in this au, and is more Misas role, but it's complicated. I blend a lot of roles into one, this AU isn't one of those copy+paste AUs with copy+paste personalities and exact storylines over different characters.

ALSO Kira in this AU isn't called "Kira", they're called "Zanta"

This was at first a joke, but then it stuck cus yes. I have no explanation it's just perfect and comedic.

Tom plays Ryuks role in the story, basically (and also has some of Rems roles in this AU rewrite). Tom has more of an obsession with fruit in general, unlike Ryuk, being only obsessed with apples. Tom likes pineapples and apples most :3

Ryuk is honestly the only correct role for Tom to ever be in in any DN au, it is goddamn perfect, in general if he is not a Shinigami in any other DN au u are just blatantly wrong✌️🧍‍♂️*griddys away to next character*

Ofc, Tord is Ls role in this AU. A lot of aspects of Ls character is changed to fit Tord, but nevertheless, they are still honestly very alike. Like Toad eats a lot of bacon and meats in general rather than sweets like how L does, but Toad has replacement for why L does this cus the explanation is to "store energy" since L barely sleeps. Toad just chugs energy drinks 24/7 and also barely has a sleep schedule. There's other quirks, but that's an example 👍

Eduardo is Mellos role in the AU. Eduardo is so insanely perfect as Mellos role brooo also Near and Mellos dynamic is LITERALLY Edd and Eduardo shjsjdj. Lil quirk change, Emu eats dark chocolate and not milk chocolate like Mello. Just smthn I changed a tad bit cus Eduardo likes diet cola (that sounds kinda like an insult it's not lmao I personally prefer dark over milk chocolate- diet cola nasty tho I AM insulting that💥💥/lh /j)

For Funsies AU Jekyll/Hyde NP Effects Rewrite (with drawings!)

Currently it's called "Curse of the Elixir" but it might be renamed (although I can't think of anything XD). Reminder for my AU, Jekyll and Hyde are twin heroic spirits sharing one body, so they have different spirit origins and this only effects Hyde (because he makes some delicious angst)

I have an HC that Maple had some of the Chaldea doctors run tests on Hyde to see what was happening and stuff so he could better regulate Hyde since this form both harms Hyde and is a safety threat for Hyde, Maple, and other Servants/Masters

--What exactly causes Hyde's body and spirit origin to dramatically shift is unknown and can only be theorized through the violence trigger. His class is currently unknown, having no name. Enkidu and ¿Hyde? have some sort of energy similar to each other, yet there is not any solid evidence as to why 

-Jekyll has no recollection of what happens in this form 

-Hyde expresses worry for Maple and will become noticeably clingy to him after being stabilized. This may be due to the already established and strong bond mixed with Hyde's Berserker trait. Hyde notably expresses behavior similar to a toddler during this time and may become obsessive over Maple's safety 

-The trigger seems to lose effect the longer and better Henry and Edward get along. Cooperation between the two has become mandatory for the safety of everyone 

Also some of Hyde's "symptoms" were based off of the human fear response and symptoms of some mental disorders

Been watching rise of the gaurdians and was compelled to make my own version of cupid, so here's one of the first concepts (not final yet but look at that hair, had to color both versions)

(Also just now realizing I forgot her main accessories uhh.. whatever its just a intial drawing. Tbh this might be her "old days" design before she started dressing more modern)

because I can: shes a new gaurdian, chosen abt 50 years after the movie takes place. Shes a well known myth, but have you ever met anyone who actually *believes* in Cupid?

Weird thing is tho, none of the other gaurdians believe in her, so they're just like "..who? Why the moon showing us no shadow?" And like... they fight Pitch who is the only one to see Cupid. Turns out she was chosen as a gaurdian because she has the ability to amplify his bottled up emotions and use them as a weapon against him.

That being said I want her and pitch to fall in love and then have it absolutely fall apart <3

Also shes MUSCULAR and trains as often as possible to be just like the gaurdians. Cupid has been a myth since 700 B.C and nobody believes in her fully anymore. Once the other gaurdians do believe in her, she doesn't realize until she tries to walk through one of them and runs right into them lmao

Anyways Cupid may be a winter spirit, but she hates the cold and uses her big wings to keep herself warm on Valentine's day. So naturally she has a bone to pick with Jack Frost as soon as he can hear her.

Also horsegirl!! She loves horses and (obv) archery. Her core is Expression (and Passion/Love but thats kinda implied and minor in this sense). So she loves the arts. She plays the harp, sings (as well as she can-- 2000 some years without critique warped her improvement), and LOVES to dance, having taken (aka snuck into) every dance class she could. She can't paint or make physical art very well, but she adores sculptures and three demonsional art, including North and Bunny's creations.

That's all I have so far? Its only a concept, like I said, but its been fueling my creativity this week lmao
