you've postedd a lot about petya being religious but what about svech, i'm curious if he ever talks about it
Very interesting question, actually 🧐. I have rarely seen Andrei mention anything to do with religion. One thing I can say is that he is definitely baptized, because in so many photos he has an Orthodox cross on a chain on his chest.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
To be honest, I doubt very much that he is as religious as Petya, in the sense that he unlikely goes to church, takes communion, etc.
Although I could be wrong here, because some players try not to publicize everything related to religion. But I can also say that since Andrei is from Kazan (lives there), there are more Muslims there. Although there are also a lot of Orthodox people. Andrei's best friend, Amir Miftakhov( Ak Bars goalie), is a Muslim.
Tumblr media
Russia is a multinational country where different religions are practiced.
Religion in Russia (2021)
Orthodox (66%)
Non-believers (14 %)
Muslims (6%)
Fluctuating between belief and non-belief (6%)
Extra-religious faith (4%)
Other (2%)
Protestants (1 %)
Buddhists (1%)
I hope I have answered your question 😊

Your blog seems like the place for everything Andrei♥️♥️♥️ so can I ask :
Does Andrei want to move back to Russia after retirement? What music does he like? What is his favorite TV or film? Who is his best friend? Is it true he went from Russia to America at 16, if so who did he live with? Does his brother still play hockey? Is his brother older? Is Andrei allowed to come and go between America and Russia as he pleases? Do all non Americans get a temporary visa for nhl then it expires when their contract ends? If so, what if they still want to stay, but they aren’t married? Are Russian players faced with difficulties or changes with visas after events of the past few years?
THANKS!!!!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️
Wow thank you!!! Lmao my obsession has paid off, so I hope this is helpful for you 😁❤️
Does Andrei want to move back to Russia after retirement? I don't know if he's every explicitly said, but I wouldn't doubt he would want to go back after his career ends, his dad and friends all still live there, so I could see him wanting to go back. He's always said that's his home.
What music does he like? They always ask this on canes tiktoks and stuff and he always says "I don't know, probably some Russian song" 🥲 but they did a canes playoff playlist once and he chose Post Malone by Sam Feldt lmaooo and then there's also this (we're gonna get him help THIS IS SO DFKGNFGKDF)
Tumblr media
What is his favorite TV or film? He said he watches mostly action and war movies and I think I remember him saying he loves Never Back Down??? i have not seen that lmao
Who is his best friend? His bestie is Amir Miftakhov who is a goalie for Ak Bars Kazan in the KHL
Tumblr media
Is it true he went from Russia to America at 16, if so who did he live with? Yes he did, Evgeny (his brother) was drafted by the Detroit Red Wings which kind of influenced his decision to move to Michigan and play for the Muskegon Lumberjacks. He lived with a billet family even though his mom also did move to the US to be with her boys
Tumblr media
Does his brother still play hockey? Is his brother older? Geno is 3 years older than Andrei and is playing for Ak Bars now
Is Andrei allowed to come and go between America and Russia as he pleases? Yep, he always goes back to Russia in the off season and has had no problems traveling to and from
Do all non Americans get a temporary visa for nhl then it expires when their contract ends? If so, what if they still want to stay, but they aren’t married? I'm no expert but if you're not from the US and want to work here, you need a valid work visa for the time you're employed here. These expire and you can either renew it or apply for a green card to become a permanent resident.
Are Russian players faced with difficulties or changes with visas after events of the past few years? Not that I know of, I think their agents work pretty hard to make sure that they face no problems!

"Relaxed the rolls." Forward "Ak Bars" Galimov explained missed goals in the KHL match with "Sochi"
“Relaxed the rolls.” Forward “Ak Bars” Galimov explained missed goals in the KHL match with “Sochi”
Photo: © KHL / Tukhbatov Ilnar Ak Bars striker Artyom Galimov connected the missed goals in the Fonbet KHL Championship match with Sochi (6:2) with the relaxation of the Kazan team’s hockey players in defense. The player’s words were quoted by Metaratings.ru. – It seemed that after 3-0 they relaxed a little. This is true? – Yes, we relaxed the rolls a little, so we got one. But it’s okay, we got…

Kunlun Red Star vs Ak Bars Kazan
The Battle of China, in the KHL, has been going on since the league’s inception, but this year it’s more important than ever before, with Ak Bars Kazan winning their first ever Gagarin Cup last season and now defending their title against the team that has dominated the KHL in recent years, Kunlun Red Star.
Tumblr media
Kunlun has been on a hot streak, winning all three games this season so far. You can bet their players will be amped up to face Ak Bars, who have only managed one win so far. Ak Bars has also been struggling offensively, scoring only four goals in three games. Kunlun's defense is not as good as it was last year, which could mean trouble for the Russians if they can't score goals of their own. In the past six years, Kunlun has won all six matches against Ak Bars (including four wins in a row), though those were before Ak Bars had its new roster. Both teams are from Russia, but Kunlun is based in Beijing and Ak Bars is based in Mytishchi. For the first time since 2006, both teams did not make it to the playoffs of their respective leagues: the KHL and VHL. The battle between two hockey teams, Kunlun Red Star and Ak Bars Kazan, will be held this February 5th at the Mytishchi Arena in Russia. Kunlun Red Star is the most decorated team in all of the KHL and has won four Gagarin Cup Championships, the most recent being last year. On the other hand, Ak Bars Kazan is a powerhouse in its own right with eight championship titles to its name. NAME:Kunlun Red Star vs Ak Bars Kazan DATE:Feb 5, 2023 TIME:at 5:00:00 PM UTC VENUE:Mytishchi Arena

Seeing Russian players doing well in the NHL at all times has made me think about the KHL more often. Too bad all of their highlight videos are unavailable in the U.S. Thanks, KHL YouTube channel, for being absolutely useless.

I just realized that the hockey player some fs fans were subtweeting about was andrei. You’ll be surprised with how much dirt they can dig up. People only caught wind of the svechnikov brothers hiring call girls cause some fs fans on twt were keeping tabs on andrei ever since he tried to shoot his shot in alina zagitova’s comment section which quickly backfired when he got called out for already having a gf. They kept tabs on him since then cause all the guys alina’s been involved with were hockey players like kirill kaprizov (minnesota wild) and dimitry voronkov (ak bars kazan). Funny thing is that most russian hockey players are somehow connected to top figure skaters. Pyotr kochetkov is friends with stasya konstantinova a grand prix champion who’s also best friends with zhenya medvedeva 2018 olympic silver medalist and apparently kirill’s connection to alina was thru her father who was a hockey coach for a junior team, alina also follows alexander romanov’s wife (sofia) on ig
I vaguely remember him commenting on her post and being called out and there's a screenshot somewhere on his tag of this happening. Are there any good twitter threads about Andrei?
That's quite interesting because they all have connections, it's honestly one big loop lol

Liiga in December: TPS
15TH PLACE: 7 G - 1 W - 1 OTW - 3 L - 2 SOL
Yeah, as you can tell coaching change hasn’t done much of a change for TPS. For the past week the team has been in Switzerland participating in Spengler Cup and apparently doing pretty decent in there by winning some games. Granted, one of those wins was against the junior version of KHL’s top team Salavat Yulaev Ufa, since Ufa sent most of their players back home to Russia to rest after playing few KHL’s version of Global Series games against Ak Bars Kazan. Right, we are not here to talk about KHL, but just thought of clarifying that one out in case you wondered if KHL is actually pretty crappy league that their tom team can lose to TPS.
Whart has happened in December is Lauri Pajuniemi said I have had enough and started carrying the team on his back. I mean, WHERE IS THE LIE. The 20-year-old forward (and New York Rangers prospect) has 19 goals so far this season, out of which he has scored 13 in the past two months. He is one of the top shooters in Liiga with 146 shots on goal and shooting accuracy of about 13%. Surprisingly enough, that makes him the best of the list, as every other player before him has an accuracy of under 10%. Not to mention, Pajuniemi plays a far less minutes per game than anyone else ahead of him on the list.
I might also say if TPS don’t make playoffs, just watch Lauri Pajuniemi getting poached by another team around trade deadline in February and ending up winning playoffs MVP and championship. Because that’s how flaming hot the man is and somehow TPS still plays him in the 3rd line.
Tumblr media
I don’t think even half of the team can even pass as Liiga team at the moment, which is surprising when captain Lauri Korpikoski is a former NHLer. The team’s defense must be the biggest issue of them all as often time I can’t even understand how on earth does Tony Sund have a contract with San Jose Sharks, but on the same time, I can totally understand why they send him back to Finland. Besides the defense, some of the critique can be placed on goaltender Rasmus Tirronen. Basically, Tirronen started off the season with being the one who carried the team and stood on his head if he needed, but now he has been slipping with allowing more goals and being one of many the underachieving players.
TOP 3 PLAYERS OF THE MONTH: Lauri Pajuniemi 7+4, Ilari Filppula 1+6, Henrik Larsson 0+5
