Temporary Whispers Of The Heart ⊹₊⟡⋆ | Sosuke Aizen X Reader Chapter 6 | Army Dreamers
TW: blood, gore mention, slight domestic violence (yelling and sibling violence)
*words / sayings that might be unfamiliar are tagged with asterisks and chapter notes about them are provided at the end of the chapter :)
˖ ✦ ‧₊˚ ⋅
Leaping into the air, you manipulated your Kido to allow your movements to stay fluid and elegant. The chill breeze of the night sky in the Human world greeted you, and you smiled feeling the wind sift through your flowy hair.
Your first lone mission as a Soul Reaper. You were jubilant, ecstatic in the moment as electricity pumped in your veins. Albeit still fairly inexperienced, you were to defeat a Hollow in the human world and bless its soul successfully. As you turn to the right, you see your companion leaping in the air, humming and grinning widely. He shot you an egotistical glance, the confidence embedded in his soul reflecting in his body language.
“Someone’s a bit too excited. Sure you won’t get too scared alone?”
Shuuhei nodded as he skipped over a building, laughing in response to your joke.
“I’m quite confident. I don’t need my elder to worry for me~”
You rolled your eyes, scoffing at his remark. “You better watch your tongue, young boy. I'm not even that much older than you. And who knows you won’t burst into tears again?”
“Ugh, my greatest apologies for holding a sympathetic and teary soul.” Shuuhei jested, faking his sorrow as he pretended to cry and wipe tears dramatically from his face whilst whipping his head away from you.
“Whatever you say, my little memeshī~*”
“Don’t call me that!”
You chortled at his flustered expression, guffawing at the sight of him so bothered over a simple tease.
Glancing at your Soul Pager, you discerned the location of the two hollows from the tags on the device. Albeit a little hesitant, you shut your pager and understood that this mission had to be done and was imperative to progressing your careers as Soul Reapers.
After notifying Hisagi, you both set off on your paths to the hollows you esteemed as your targets. The large, black and purple creature in sight towered over you, muttering incoherent sentences with jumbled phonetics as its crimson eyes latched onto you. You felt confidence, strength coursing through your veins as your body was energised with courage and determination. An easy feat as a Shinigami, right? You’ve done this many times before. Although many had resulted in dire failure, you were sure you had grown strong enough to complete such a simple task.
The skeletal structures on the Hollow’s arms and face clunked against each other ominously as it turned towards you, each step served with purpose. Something felt off. It felt… Intelligent? As if a mind of its own resided in the empty crevice of its heart.
Whispering the name of your Zanpakutō under your breath, you brought out your Shikai and sent a smooth gash to its arm. As you ran up to the creature, you sliced all vital limbs and attempted to cut its neck. However, a blast of blue plasma from its fist abruptly sent you backwards with great force. You coughed and sputtered as you were sent flying, skidding on the concrete roads underneath you.
The surprise stained on your face was unmistakable as you watched it regenerate its limbs, gurgling under its mask.
…What on earth?
It was definitely not a normal hollow. But why would the Gotei 13 send you two to defeat such a beast? You had never encountered anything like it in the academy. Perhaps it was designed to be a struggle.
Trepidation beside you, you managed to rise back onto your feet to grip your sword properly with both hands and run towards the beast again.
Each move of your sword was met with another piece of its skeletal armour, its reflexes almost surpassing your own. After the creature blocked you several times over, another swift move of its arm knocked you out of the air and in its hand it held…
A Zanpakutō?
Too appalled to react, you were vulnerable and the creature took the chance to finish you off, sending you flying by another blast from its fist.
It cannot be. Hollows do not wield… They do not have a soul to imprint on an Asauchi..
Clutching your bleeding side, your glare was ravenous. No. You weren’t sure what mutation this was, but it would not reign defeat over you. You couldn’t humiliate yourself more than you already had, as the weakest member of the Shihōin family. A tarnish on an evershining vase.
Determined, you snapped its limbs with your Shikai’s suppression and electric movements. Yet once more, a grotesque bubbling in its void black skin greeted you and its limbs were regained. You had never fought a hollow of this level and power… And the sword that you swore it held in its hand had not been erased from your memory.
The finishing blow greeted you as you had accidentally paused your sword for one second to catch your breath, a blast searing through half your being. You felt a sharp burn in your left ribs and warm, sticky liquid beginning to pool down your legs from your side. The blast caused your knees to wobble and you immediately fell to your knees, panting sporadically.
You couldn’t have lost such a simple mission… There was something wrong with this creature.
Mustering up all of your strength, you mumbled a final command under your breath, manipulating your Kidō to blast the beast with as much power as you could.
Exhausted, you finally fell to the ground, toppling over and splayed out. You sighed in temporary relief, as the beast seemed to have been placated by you. Clutching your bleeding side, you coughed up viscous and crimson liquid from your burning throat. The hollow seemed to have been defeated, now all that was left to exorcise its soul. Opening your eyes slightly, you watched the hollow reduce into a smaller form, furrowing your eyebrows as it seemed like a controlled action, externally done on purpose... To make it weaker? A foolish thought really, wouldn’t the creature want to become stronger…?
In the corner of your eye, you swore you saw a glimpse of a man draped in black, extracting something of the hollow and suppressing it.
However, shock was short lived as impending doom suddenly overcame you at the sight of the Hollow standing up again, albeit smaller.
No… How did you not defeat it? You put every single fibre of your being into that battle?
Were you still so weak…?
You shut your eyes, admitting defeat and disappointment as you awaited its final blast. You failed.
Long, black blades chained to their owner danced swiftly in the night sky, the moon illuminating their silhouette against the dark of the midnight.
A celestial glow accompanied Shuuhei as he elegantly sliced the Hollow’s head clean off, panting and bent over as its skeletal head slowly glided across its hemorrhaged neck, falling to the floor.
“Your Reiatsu… You scared me. Are you okay?”
Hisagi ran up to you, kneeling down next to you as he aided you in clutching your side.
“It’s… Not a hollow. It can’t be. It had … A Zanpakutō…”
You panicked seeing Shuuhei’s face of worry, clearly showing that he did not believe you.
“You tried your best, it’s okay… You're clearly in critical condition and not thinking right.“
Blood only sputtered out as you attempted to speak, coughing and sniffling.
“Please… Believe me.”
He nodded, and although sceptical, Hisagi would never question you.
“We can worry about that later. Let’s head back quickly.”
Short, scruffed hair swayed in the wind, weaving a melody with its inky strands in the moisture of the night sky. The man beside you prayed for the hollow exorcised by his Zanpakutō, blessing its soul.
You turned to your companion, Hisagi Shuuhei, as he opened the gate to the Soul Society swiftly by effortlessly swaying his hands to open the Senkaimon.
An arm extended around your shoulders, and you reciprocated by clutching onto the tattered fabric of your friend, the other hand moving to press onto the gash on your side.
Dusting yourself off, you trudged once more into the Soul society and looked solemnly towards your comrade.
“Hisagi, your efforts are truly unwavered even as just a novice reaper… I admire you.”
The raven haired man turned to you, scoffing and tucking his arms into his chest.
“The same goes to you. Couldn’t have done it without my fellow Shishi. You did well weakening it.”
You chuckled, shaking your head from side to side, the brief mirth erupted in your chest quickly dissipating as you realised what was to come.
“I don’t know how I couldn’t defeat a simple hollow… You have to believe me when I say that I really don’t think it was normal. It wielded a sword.”
Shuuhei hushed you, telling you to rest as he helped carry you to the 4th Division for healing.
“I believe you. I do. I’m sure there’s some rational explanation.”
Hisagi could feel the fear course throughout you, a sinister feeling of dread sinking in your stomach as you feared what was to come.
˖ ✦ ‧₊˚ ⋅
You managed to muster out a grateful smile to Shuuhei before he left you in Unohana’s care, and you shut your eyes, allowing yourself to recover.
Another shameful slash onto your royal name. An esteemed failure, you were. Had you really failed in such a pitiful battle against a weak Hollow again? Were you even worthy of the Shihōin name? The name of warriors, the ultimate marker of strength and courage in the Soul Society.
Something you were clearly not. The Zanpakutō wielded in your grip betrayed you once more, as you failed at another battle against a Hollow. Removal from the Gotei 13? Admonishment of your role? You weren’t sure what was to come. Yet all of this seemed minor in your thoughts as compared to the rumination of what your father may say.
Hisagi Shuuhei you had met in the Academy, a friend a couple years younger than you. Another stain to your name, having to be saved by a Shinigami younger than you. You should have the experience, yet the sword you held did not wish to align with your rhythm.
What did it want from you?
Alone in your bedroom now, you stared up at the ceiling, before turning to painfully look at the sheathed sword lying by your bedside.
Often at night as well as now, you found yourself speaking to the essence of your soul reflected in the sleek metal, glistening as it bathed in the moonlight seeping into your room.
,, Tell me, my Zanpakutō. Is the vigour in my soul not enough for you? Does the human blood in my heart seethe you? Answer me… For I have seen many mixed Shinigami blossom… Why not me? Why has the name of my family not blessed me like it has to my sister?”
,, What must I do, to imprint the essence of my honour and devotion onto you, my sword? What lacks in my soul… What tarnishes my strength… Tell me and I will extract it from my veins.”
˖ ✦ ‧₊˚ ⋅
The next morning, you were sent for a day of rest, informed to return to the Second division after your break to discuss the results of your first exam.
As your mind ruminated on your walk home, you mentally and physically prepared yourself for the berating and degrading words awaiting you.
Holding a hand to your heart and whispering your mothers name under your breath, you exhaled deeply and reached your destination. You latched your fingers onto the metal handle and slammed it twice against the Hinoki cypress wood to signify your arrival at the towering doors of the Shihōin minka.*
A familiar servant greeted you, yet the usual smile present on her face had faded. As expected after that deplorable presentation…
Leading you to the common room, you bid a solemn farewell as jovially as you could before you slid open the shoji door in front of you, meticulously as if to not set off your fathers temper any more.
In the middle of the empty room, a man with a lean frame and tanned skin sat cross legged, simply swiping his calligraphy brush with strategic and conscientious strokes. A murderous glance greeted you from the tresses of his ivory hair.
You silently kneeled on the tatami of the large room, your irises fixated on the low, wooden table frame and the colour of the ivory hadagi* that contrasted against his tan skin. The glare of your father sent shivers down your spine, as you swallowed the lump forming in your throat and forced it to dissipate.
“Byakuya Kuchiki has established his will to marry a commoner and tarnish the purity of his noble bloodline. It’s a very shameful act and it caused great disgrace to the Kuchiki family, I'm sure you’ve heard.”
Your eyes simply fixated on the tatami floor beneath you, nodding cautiously as your knuckles turned white from clutching the pant legs of your shihakushō harshly.
“Have you heard of the Shiba clan’s esteemed son relinquishing his role as a Captain and his Shinigami powers to settle with a Quincy?”
You gulped, afraid of what your father was getting at as you shook your head.
“It was such a dishonour that the Shiba clan has been removed permanently as one of the Five Noble Families. Such disgrace on such a distinguished name.”
The only sounds that could be heard were the gradually vicious strokes that Chika Shihōin slashed onto his page, his brush staining the paper so harshly as if he was shedding the blood of his enemies.
He timed each stroke with the rhythm of his words, his movements so fierce they could have cut through the paper if it were not for his impeccable craftsmanship.
“All of these… Stains, slashes, stabs to royal blood. Look how bad they have gotten. We do not even have five noble clans any more due to the incompetency of this youth…
And you.”
Your eyes did not dare to falter from his glare as the pain from his words seared through your heart.
”My biggest mistake. The illegitimate child of my late wife. You are incapable of being a Soul Reaper and an embarrassment to this family. It is already difficult enough trying to shield your human blood. You have definitely done it this time. What an utter disgrace. A simple hollow is incapable of defeat by your hands…”
“The route the youth of this generation are weaving will yield devastating results. I will not contribute to this any longer. As of now, I only have one daughter.”
Your body immobilised, before the adrenaline and shock finally slammed against your body and you pushed on your shins to rise and stand up for yourself.
“Father, it was but a simple mistake! You don’t understand… Please. It had the appearance of a low grade hollow yet its power was unmistakable-“
“You were saved by a classmate years younger than you. You should have been the one to save him. I have trained you conscientiously and exhaustively in the academy and allowed your Shinigami side to bloom and yet you are still such a disappointment. The impurity of your human blood is embedded permanently onto your sword, Y/N. I cannot allow the epitome of weakness to hold the name of a bloodline of indestructible men.”
”Father, I swear if you had met the hollow you would have known, for it wielded a Zanpakutō-“
“Are you making a fool out of me? I refuse to speak to this disgrace anymore. Yoruichi, my one sensible and virtuous daughter. Send her out. I’m sure you understand my will. A sutra in a horse's ear*, it was to try and raise her…”
You looked frantically at your sister behind you, the model of your life leaning on the doorframe you entered from. Her golden irises did not caress yours with a gaze of softness, instead replaced by complacency and dissatisfaction. A strike of lightning so wretched it could have been aimed towards your soul by Zeus' spear himself penetrated your being as you perceived the dullness of her eyes and sudden grip on her weapon.
You retracted your steps slowly backwards as you creaked in a small yet fearless voice.
“Sister… Stop… Don’t do this.”
Both of your hands were snatched by hers, and you cried for freedom in desperation. Her touch was not tender, nor one of a dear sibling. It was the searing touch of a thousand suns enclosing into a supernova, exterminating the entire universe with its flames. The genesis of a newfound resentment catalysed in your heart from the display of wretched impudence towards her own sister.
“What are you doing?!”
You choked on your sobs as you protested against the utter agony you were being burnt alive in.
“Quiet yourself. You know that this must be done.”
“You’re just going to kick me out without listening to a word of what even occurred?!”
Yoruichi halted her hastened steps suddenly, causing you to stumble over your feet on the tatami underneath you. She turned her gaze slowly from the shoji door lying at the exit to you, furrowing her plum brows.
“You are an abomination to this family name and had you any intelligence you would understand you cannot be part of this family any more. We are the saviours, not the ones to be saved. You don’t belong in this family.”
“What are you talking about?! Family isn’t defined by our powers, it’s defined by the love we hold for each other!”
She snatched your wrist with a harder grip this time, latching onto you and swiftly heaving you out of the door, causing you to topple over onto the wooden steps outside of the Shihōin minka*.
“Love is not enough to hold a Noble family together. If that had been true, then the Shiba clan would not have been admonished from their role and Byakuya Kuchiki would not be repenting to his parents every single day for bequeathing himself to a commoner.”
You could taste the salt in your tears as your voice grew hoarse from your insistent begs, to have her love you, to have her embrace you again. To have her forget this all as a nightmare and go back to your normal lives.
“Does your honour matter more than your sister?!”
“Y/N. I will say this once and only once.”
You looked up in trepidation, wobbling and sobbing as you were greeted with a glare of disgust rather than the sweetness you were used to.
“Rid yourself of my sight before I tear the name of Shihōin off of you with your blood.”
And with that, the wooden doors of the manor shut for the last time.

With his hands around your waist, pressing you against him, he whispers in your ear how much he desires to make you the “bearer of his descendance”
Your back laying on his chest, your legs hanging down his legs; sitting on that sterile “throne”, the king assures a step further on his plans...
Oh, Sosuke Aizen, what do you see in that future of yours? Solitude? Defeat? Why do you need a successor?
Your nape, your hair, rest on Sosuke’s shoulder and neck. Up, his right hand slides; your neck it finds, crushing carotids and jugulars, making you dizzy… out of breath, perhaps even controlling you to go and come from the brink of death. Slap after slap, thighs hitting against your ass. Sweaty surfaces that go up and down, as he drills into you with desperate hips.
“Will you bear my child, dear (Name)?” he asks, coercing you to say yes… in any case, a blurred mind and an almost limp body is unable to say otherwise.
“Y-ye-yes, Aizen-sa-sama” you cry, as he presses your cheeks, so your lips become pouty, and your words come out in an adorably humiliating way.
A sophisticated, tinted in psychopathic, smirk escapes his lips. It makes you tremble, how can someone be so sexy, so soft and yet so scary at the same time? Guess the strongest don’t really need to be violent.. oh, but what definitely holds an almost unbearable violence, are those hip thrusts that wont stop pumping on you.
And your walls, as lustful, as desperate as those thrusts, spasm, milking that man that needs to shut his chocolate eyes closed… see, there is a reason why you were chosen to serve Aizen-sama.
“Aren’t you a little bit needy? Heh” he murmurs, biting ever so softly the lobe of your right ear. The humid words of his hot breath, feels like they are kissing your brain, pulling you down with tingles everywhere.
“Always for you, Aizen-sama” you purr, in heaven, with your inner thighs trembling and your toes a little curled. “I am yours to please, I am yours to be used…”
Sosuke growls; he definitely knows how his you are. But, even though, the moment he listens to those words, his body reacts uncontrollably… So far from the cold, calm, and collected Aizen you know, he bites your neck. His thrusts are even more violent than before, this time you can’t bounce properly as his delicate hands, yet strong and evil, grab you by your waist. He lifts you up, he doesn’t really need you moving… just be a hole for his insatiable hunger this time.
“Shsh, baby…” he murmurs, penetrating you so perfectly. The position, with you lifted and softly bent forward allows the tip of his sex to hardly push your sweet spot. Like an expert, knowing so very well, exactly where to press, he makes you retort with just the violent drill of unstoppable ramming.
It is nearly impossible for you not to come, viciously and aggressively, as suspended in between heaven and hell… well, isn’t it funny how the new king of Hueco Mundo is actually fucking your right now?
“Come on, cum so that I can fill you up very well…” he continues, enjoying the pleasure of your milking walls. “You know you shouldn’t waste a single drop, baby? Would you keep it inside for me? We need to make you very, very pregnant”
You shiver… exactly why, you don’t really know. Is it because of your orgasm taking over? Or is it because you are being entrusted with such a high order from Aizen-sama?
In any case… “Yes, Aizen-sama… make me, really, really pregnant…” “Very good, my beautiful ray of sun… come on, do it with a smile for me… but, please, make sure not to fail”
ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤAh, toxic motherfucker!

Baby Daddy Red Flags: Bleach Edition (😜🤍)
This one…this one for the sluts! 😭💕 I’m an old anime bitch like lemme get it out my system! (We gonna tag this #ToxicTalk lmaoo, this is a safe space)
(If you wanna know who we share 😒, I’ll add an asterisk or whatever. ((They still mine first 😂💝🫡)) (will update and repost with new additions, semi-live post)
***ICHIGO: Lemme get my baby daddy out the way. Biggest issues would be his availability before and after the kid. Probably got pregnant in a makeup sex situation anyway. Ichigo doesn’t seem to type to breakup but will say let’s break. Based on how selfless he is it also can be seen coming from him not being able to save his mom—so he may have a savior complex. It may seem valiant at first like “oh wow you became friends with Chad helping him with bullies? You became closer to Orihime (😒) after helping her grieve her brother? You’re such a good person!” Til you realize seniority is in place and when his friends call he drops whatever he is doing to go help. It’s been time, money, etc and increasingly his selflessness comes off as codependent. Like he can’t stop trying to make up for something that wasn’t his fault.
He will also randomly reserve to right to become reclusive. Not necessarily secretive but less energetic, talkative, or engaged. (You def realize your baby got some functional depression going on. Iykyk). Might not annoy you but the random times he doesn’t want to be touched or seemingly avoids you does hurt…but he sincerely comes back letting you know he was in a weird space etc.
Ichigo’s biggest yes or no is if you’ll be able to sometimes come second or third (likely til you marry and/or have kids with him.) His father and sisters are absolutely #1, his friends are #2, and his oath to the Soul Society and humanity at large is a consequence of him protecting the first two so that’s of course #3. See where I’m going? Even on your best days you might be upset he runs off to Rukia’s or Orihime’s aid. That he has to “save the world,”to save you too. Jealous types might really become frustrated with Ichigo. And tbh I don’t see him breaking out of his ways. He won’t see a need to because there’s real results of his good deeds in his life. He knows he’s saved lives, so he knows he can continue to—so will you be able to handle the fact his duty and mindset will be self sacrificing? I don’t know I think I’d tie him down with a baby and move on.
**KENPACHI: I fully accept and am attracted to his animalistic tendencies. I absolutely can admit that about myself 😭 but…realistically you’d def have to tell him he’s too rough during sessions. He’s grown up wayward, defensive, survival mode, stomach touching his back— during a time so seemingly historical and old who knows how bad the conditions of poverty were—most kids died if they simply weren’t rich and able to eat. Or turned to crime at extremely young ages or exploited….That’s just global history in real life. And the soul society is that much more complex and arduous. Kenpachi will be a man of few words but immense action. If you want someone who will open up even eventually that is not Kenpachi Zaraki. You will highly likely never know of his past because he will never say he is excruciatingly doing everything to never have to. And no, he won’t communicate ever if anything terrible is on his mind. Although kenpachi is coded as barbaric he really is just that protective—he’s as angry as he will be based solely upon someone’s proximity to him emotionally. You and Yaru will be so exclusively held in a regard he won’t even understand. Just the black hole of his awareness he’ll surpass anything to save y’all. He won’t speak on why Lady Unohana isn’t around anymore (new anime, manga lore). But again, when he ends up rough too many nights in a row you distance yourself from him. He can’t admit to you he disassociates and goes back to bad times. He can’t tell you your comfort and warmth makes him remember the times he needed it before—he doesn’t mean to hurt you but he lives for a fight. But he wants to stop making everything and everyone something to “conquer.” He’ll be a real deal handful and it will solely up to you to either tell him you can’t be with him until he figure shit out or you’ll stick beside him and work through it together. (In this case Yaru is the “kid” yall share, I see him being weary of birthing a child and being a dad in such a “visceral” way. Will have total abandonment trauma and just can’t see him getting over it completely to bring new life into a world he already sees the worst in tbh.) but in terms of “baby momma” treatment? Or your prioritized and protected best believe. 💕 he also will force you to learn combat cause you should be able to take care yourself too. Which might either be hot or burdensome. You’re gonna know how to fight. And tbh he might try to bring it into the bedroom on some weird let’s play fight shit so watch yourself. That’s a BIG MAN! 😭😂💕 “HA! Now that you know how do a few things why don’t you test it on me?” Big cheeky sneaky ass grin girl don’t fall for it!
BYAKUYA: This is the guy who will match your freak everywhere but in public. No PDA—actually don’t even look at him or try to talk to him in public…be professional. He will be joking with others and you’ll get upset saying “Hey! You let the other members of the society tease you?” And in private he’ll admit it’s just to keep up appearances and he hates it all. 😭 I think his biggest issue will be coming off fake or disingenuous or you’ll have a hard time sincerely seeing him cause he’ll be so different depending on where y’all are. People wouldn’t know he’s like a mom boyfriend who makes sure you eat, sleep, and keep up with yourself. Yes, he will absolutely unintentionally say something insulting like “This doesn’t suit you. Find something else.” And yes he will be very clearly on guard when in public. People will openly wonder why you’re with him tbh. Which will frustrate the both of you of which neither of you ever bring up to the other. Byakuya has lost a love before—he won’t talk about it ever. You MIGHT get something out of Rukia about it cause it was her sister but I doubt she’ll go super intimate about THEIR relationship cause she respects both his and her sister’s privacy. So you might be stuck on an eavesdropping side quest with Renji that amounts to nothing cause he’ll sense yall. He’ll be amused and somewhat touched you wanted to watch him work though. He’s usually the one keeping check or track of things so he’ll never say he likes that you peep on him and mind his business. You care about him and he knows he’s a bit unfair not allowing any PDA. But he so openly loved on Rukia’s sister he couldn’t help the shameful self imposed embarrassment once he had to walk the halls alone…Byakuya will be a very intentional, quiet lover. I doubt he’ll moan very much tbh unless he’s exhausted and allowing you to take care of him. Sometimes he’ll absolutely disappear all day into work. Other times he’ll be sure to direct his underlings to wait on you in his stead. He’s more manageable if you can accept his sometimes snarky, distant, super private ways. As a father he’ll be annoyingly big on exceptionalism and them being smart and talented. You’ll have to be sure he isn’t burdening your kid when you aren’t around. And you’ll have to be sure he doesn’t inadvertently impart his insensitive habits too. Likewise, you’ll ABSOLUTELY have to “deal or no deal” him about giving affection to your kid in public. You will absolutely have to go off and tell him it’s y’all or his image. And yeah now he’s holding both yall hands albeit defeated. 💕😭
AIZEN: Shit…girl (im black my “girl…” is gender neutral don’t be annoying 💕) you already know what it is. Yandare, selfish, self righteous, MEAN, EVIL…but fine and rich as fuck. 😔🫤 it will be a doozy to be with this one. You literally have to know and accept what you getting into bestie. I can’t even warn you, you know! 😭 but seriously if your an aizen bias you accept him as is 😭 psycho ass. So I wanna just write how’d he be as a baby daddy. Now not to get…too mature…but if you happened to be someone captured/kidnapped by him and pregnant…baby you is a victim! BUT ITS FANFIC SOOO if you were the captured baby momma that’s in his realm with him…well girl you in the realm lord you stuck. “Can I go to the human world?” “For what?” “Uh, sun?” “Humph what do you need sun for…” He’ll look down at your crying child and be like “Ugh okay whatever but Grimmjow is your chaperone.” And you won’t care cause Grimmjow lets you run off and live life. Which Aizen knows but the minute you aren’t overtly scared and submissive to him he’ll lose his weird sense of “power.” You’re man crazy bestie. He’s definitely someone you won’t talk back to until you’re a parent and equally going to advocate for your kid. He’ll realize and laugh to himself “Their not really submissive at all…little minx…” and hold you in completely new regard. “So you took me as is because you wanted to?” He’ll start thinking shit that confuses him and decide to randomly kill a grunt to distract himself like no he’s not gonna reflect into a better person. 😂 you’ll have everything you want cause you can’t go nowhere 😭. Mind you yes the sex is mind blowing so you sadly do take what positives are there…his eyes don’t fall sexually to anyone but you. His body doesn’t respond certain ways to anyone but you. And as you stand next to him more and more he’s leaning into you and your baby’s energy rather than tryna to overtake yall with his. Just don’t speak about the change and it’ll be fine. The minute you tease or openly acknowledge his becoming softer and less controlling you’ll ruin all the progress you made. Let him feel like he’s in control or whatever.
New Additions (1):
Hitsugaya: (adult of course) Hitsu will be a blend of Byakuya and Ichigo. The best aspects of him will be how attentive and actionable he is about his love for you. But — he will shy away from PDA and sometimes have moments of separated solitude. Unlike Byakuya, he will absolutely open up to PDA, just will never be the initiator of it. Maybe grab your hand at the end of the day to hurry back home or stare at you as long as he can while he observes your dutiful working. He’ll be shy always which keeps your love feeling young and refreshed. You’ll always be able to make him blush and unlike Ichigo, he’ll warm up to you imposing yourself on his alone time. He’ll be big on love making and planning when to have a child so it will be less spontaneous. He’ll have the baby registry and wishlists prepared, printed, and passed out to members of the Soul Society. He’ll enjoy trips to the human world to acquire new toys and trinkets for your baby.
As a baby daddy he’s almost too protective. You wonder what he’s been through as he’ll have a firm grip of your hips as you cradle your child. He’ll have a habit of looking at your baby and then between the both of you stunned at how he can see the perfect blend of your features on your child’s face. He’ll be very close to a simp honestly (which I’m a fan of) and be at your beck & call no matter the hour. Definitely the dad to tell you don’t worry about tending to the little one, keep resting cause he knows how tired you get. He’s honestly the perfect idea of a new father as he’ll be bumbling a bit but with so much to prove. I realize I kinda didn’t write red flags cause I truly see Hitsu adjusting to parenthood and a long term relationship the best. Only thing I can think is that he’ll be overtly willing to sacrifice himself for your family’s safety. So any massive issue in the Soul Society will make your heart sink a little because while he’s capable he’s been in enough life threatening predicaments to cause ample, appropriate worry. He’ll be hard to break out of working I think until your child starts schooling which could be frustrating cause he’ll overcompensate parenting in lieu of his work commitments. Overall, I think he’d be the baby daddy with the least to really worry about.
Renji: Oh lord— all tea, all shade this man will STRUGGLE. « What do you mean the baby is hungry AGAIN ? You just breastfed! WAIT DO NOT PULL YOUR TIT OUT IN PUBLIC WOMAN ! » He’ll have a hard time adjusting to your freedom as a breastfeeding mom for sure (if you choose to). Work ? What’s work? One thing you can count on is that he will absolutely commit to being a family man and even a stay at home dad. He’ll take all his PTO or even « quit » (basically will say don’t call me to help unless the Soul Society is about to die.) He will wait on you hand & foot because he can’t imagine how much your body and mind has gone through and the strength it takes to be so tired but smile and laugh with him and your kiddo. But, he may end up a bit controlling about you leaving the house without him. He’ll either become a sad puppy or an angry old man. « Baby…what do you mean you want me to stay home ? 😓🥺 » or «  Woman, what did I tell you about going out without me ? What if a crazy person tried to rob you ? » You laugh at him always being some level of dramatic but it may get annoying how clingy and worried he’ll become. You’ll have to remind him you lived this long for a reason…and plan to live longer, so he can chill out sometimes cause his worried nature worries you…you might benefit from guilt tripping him into apologizing and giving you a breather on leaving the house. But just know someone is watching over you. Renji would be a great cook or a terrible cook who improves over time. He might be great at catching the baby right when they poop or…end up shat on rushing to a sink. I really see him either being weirdly good at being a dad or definitely suffering from the learning curve.
Your baby will definitely be conceived in a wild love making, (maybe rough, passionate sex) session. And you’ll catch him blushing when he holds your baby and looks at you remembering the night you had. You’ll be the type to walk in on them sleeping crazily on the sofa, his arm instinctively holding your baby firm. He’ll be grateful to not have to jump up to go to work honestly. His biggest red flags will be being overbearing, needy, and likely requiring a lot of overt reassurance. (Which isn’t necessarily a red flag given he just will want to be a really good dad and partner.) Otherwise he’ll become a stubborn dad who will try (and fail) to « put his foot down. » Which will likely result in him sleeping on the sofa…💕

You can lay blame for this second ask at @hoifne 's feet, I saw their comment on the post and had to:
How did folks react to the moon landing?
"You're ready? No Big Regrets?" Renji asks. He always asks. He'd done hundreds of Konso rituals now that he was doing his mandatory tour of duty in the living world, but he never wants them to feel 'routine', so he talks to the ghosts. Hypes them up a bit for the afterlife, tries to keep his heart in it.
Especially when it's a kid.
"Well, it's not really a big deal..." The ghost Suichi considers. He was maybe ten or eleven years old. Thick prescription glasses, face round with puppy fat, very loved. Love won't stop a freak electrical accident though. Young Suichi is handling his sudden departure really well, all things considered, so maybe love does stop despair. "-but its a bit of a shame that if there's no TV in the afterlife, I won't be able to watch the moon landing."
"Yeah, we're a bit behind the times, but I'm sure one of the mad geniuses in the 12th will invent one sooner than late-" Renji grins ruffling the boy's hair before the rest of the sentence registers. "-The What Landing?"
"The Moon Landing!" Suichi lights up with excitement. "They just launched the rocket yesterday! But in just three days, man will walk on the moon!"
"...The Moon?" Renji blinks, bewildered.
"Yeah!"
Renji points up over his shoulder into the sky, gripping the boy's shoulder, eyes wide. "THE MOON IN THE FUCKING SKY?"
---
The lights of the Fifth division offices reflect blankly off of Captain Aizen's glasses as he attempts to process the news. He is entirely still, save for his eyebrows which are writhing like overcaffienated caterpillars, unable to settle on an emotion to convey.
"The Moon?" Lieutenant Ichimaru squints at Renji even harder than usual, pointing up out the window behind him. "The Moon in the fucking sky?"
"Yeah!" Renji spread his hands. "I didn't believe it either but the humans have managed to work out some neat trick with the way the world turns to like, throw the spaceship like a slingshot..?" he tried to explain.
"So, so there's three guys in a boat-" Captain Aizen tried again, reaching up under his glasses to rub the bridge of his nose.
"It's really more like a sealed metal tube, but they call it a Space Ship because it does sorta sail through space..." Renji tried to explain, holding up the newspaper from the living world he'd brought back to substantiate his claims and also provide helpful images to explain what was happening.
"So there's three guys in a metal tube and they... threw it into the sky so hard that instead of falling it started flying instead?" Aizen tried. "How do they even throw something that hard without Kido?"
"So the men are up in this little itty bitty bit at the top that looks like a cap on a vaccine needle-" Renji pointed at the image of the Apollo 11 rocket. "-All the rest of this is the uh. enormous amount of extremely coordinated high explosives they used to launch it. The. The whole thing is like... It's a little over three hundred fifty shaku and only 12 shaku of that is where the humans are. The rest is um. Air they smooshed so hard it became liquid and then they set that on fire and look at the picture you can see the kaboom!" Renji tried to explain, pushing the paper across Aizen's desk for his captain to read.
Aizen certainly pointed his face at the image and accompanying article, but 'read' may have been a bit beyond him at the moment.
"Oh, is that all it took?" Ichimaru hummed with interest. "Well fuck, why haven't we done that?"
"Oh yes, how very silly that the humans have beaten us at the trifling matter of FLINGING OURSELVES INTO SPACE, WHAT THE *HELL* ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT ICHIMARU??" Aizen objected.
"Well like. Idea's sound. Moon goes around the earth, so a smaller thing should too. And we can absolutely make a sealed metal container and kaboom bigger than that." Gin shrugged, as though this were plainly obvious. "Betchya the clown that runs the twelfth has the stuff laying around- we got a meeting with him later today anyway, why not ask?"
"Oh sure, that's a great Idea!" Aizen beamed. "Why hello Kurotsuchi-taicho, curious news from the human world- do you think you could spare a few parts and several tons of explosives to send some guys for a stroll on the moon?"
There was a moment of silence where Renji and Gin shared an awkward glance (or at least, Renji gave meaningful look to the narrow slits where his lieutenant-commander's eyes theoretically were).
"...he'd agree to that in a heartbeat, if he hasn't started work on his own Spaceboat already." Aizen groaned.
---
"No." Grunted Mayuri.
"No? Why not?" Aizen asked, head cocked to the side like a confused spaniel.
"Look, what the old man doesn't know about budget expenditures won't hurt him!" Gin smiled encouragingly. "Think of all the scientific data you'd get to research!"
"What the old man finds out about budget expenditures after the fact can and will hurt me." Mayuri growled. "It's not cookie money, kitting an expedition to the living world to engineer a spaceship with atomic matter instead of Reishi- No, much more efficient to let the humans do it for us and poach the date from them."
"...Why would we need to go to the Living world?" Aizen blinked, confused. "I can see the moon from the window right here?" Aizen pointed out the window of Kurotsuchi's office.
"What? That moon? You can't go to that moon!" The clownish chemical engineer cackled."
Aizen and Ichimaru stared at him blankly.
"Is. Is the moon here different than the one in the living world?" Aizen asked, bewildered.
"Different? It doesn't exist!" Mayuri laughed, waving his hand at them.
Aizen and Ichimaru stared at him, then leaned back in their seats, looking out the window at the moon, which still looked as physical and present as it ever did.
"...Oh don't tell me you didn't know." Mayuri frowned, pouting. "No, spirit world doesn't have a moon. The thing up in the sky is a Tulpa- there's a "moon" because everyone who comes to spirit world thinks there should be one, and there's so much ambient spiritual energy even weak souls can exert some force on the nature of reality and when millions of them are all certain there should be a moon, a moon manifests. Or at least, a thing that looks like a moon. Doesn't act like one, changes size and skips around it's phases all the time and if it really were a round object in space, that's NOT what a crescent moon would look like."
Aizen and Ichimaru looked back out the window at the "Moon", whose crescent arced a full three quarters of the alleged satellite's circumference.
"Seriously? this is some really basic stuff." Mayuri glared at them in disappointment. "You never noticed that the moon is always visible out any random window at night, no matter what time it is? It doesn't even go east-to-west more than half the time!"
"But. But we have a lunar calendar..?" Aizen muttered, an edge of genuine distress in his voice.
"Oh yeah, the moon *used* to be regular as clockwork- everyone literally set their watches to it." Mayuri shrugged. "Then sometime about eh, two and a half, three thousand years ago? Right around the same time the first captain-class spirits started appearing, the moon started doing this 'Full Moon Thrice A Month If it Feels Like It' and 'Visible At Improbable Angles' nonsense."
Aizen's eyes were wide and Gin's very nearly open with alarm.
"That's uh- that's terrifying?" Aizen sputtered, now outright frightened.
"Yeah, anybody know what coulda caused that?" Gin muttered.
"The going theory is that the precipitation of a new class of spiritually hyperpotent souls like us has caused disproportionate tugs on the desired appearence of the the "Moon", but that's only a theory- my predecessor's predecessor once attempted to send a camera to the 'Moon' for a closer look, but it never actually *got* any closer." Mayuri explained, casually inspecting his fingernails- he seemed to be growing out the middle one for some godforsaken reason. "-Your theoretical starboat would likely far worse."
"...Okay but that's worse. You understand how that's worse, right?" Aizen demanded and Mayuri waved him off.
"No, no hit makes sense-" Gin nodded, and Aizen glared at his lieutenant. "Think about it! There's what, three and a half billion human on earth? Millions die every day, but only a couple hundred ever turn up every day at the intake queue in the 7th, and nearly everyone is from just the one part of Japan. We're one afterlife of many- ugh, could you imagine if the missionaries were sent here?- anyway, our world is nowhere NEAR as big at the Living World, so the moon-moon is just a geographical feature in the living world, and there's only a couple million people living here. We got disproportionate swing, so we pull on the collective conciousness more. It's fine!"
"That's AWFUL!" Aizen shouted, dismayed.
"I mean I think we all understand God is an Asshole, but what are you gonna do about it?" Mayuri shrugged before tapping on the crate beside his desk. "-Anyway, do you want these Polio Vaccines for the rukongai outreach program our not?"
"I- yes. Please." Aizen muttered.
"Good man, sign here." Mayuri tapped the sheet on his desk. As Aizen tried to read over the provisions release paperwork, the small "Electronic Mailer" on Mayuri's desk pinged. "Oh, the word got out- Kyoraku-taicho wants to hold another moon-viewing party for the occasion. Do me a favor and attend so you can explain to him why we can't go to our 'moon' for me? I don't want to go, and I really don't want to explain it to him through a hangover either."
"If you don't wanna go Boss I'll stand in for you. Promises to be a real riot." Gin grinned.
"Yes, you have your young friend, don't you? Miss Matsumoto?" Aizen smiled fondly at his second-in-command.
"Oh, she probably already got her invite- she an' Miss Nan- er, lieutenant Ise are real pals from the academy." Gin laughed. "Nah, I was gonna drag old blind bones along."
"...Captain Tousen?" Aizen asked, befuddled. "Whatever for?"
"Stars ain't exactly braille, y'know?" Gin explained, wiggling his fingers. "He knows even less than we do an' I wanna watch Rangiku and Kyoraku try'n 'splain the whole thing to him." Gin grinned.
"Sounds lovely! Take your shit and get out of my office." Mayuri threatened.
---
Renji exhaled, still bewildered, laying on his back on the grassy hill just outside the 2nd division training grounds, staring up at the moon as it rose opposite the sunset behind him. Or, maybe not? There had been some lecture about how the moon in spirit world wasn't a moon back at the academy that he didn't really remember-
"You sound like you're in the throes of a moral conundrum Red." Shuuhei teased, looking up from the strange contraption he was setting up.
"Huh?" Renji blinked. "Oh, no I'm just- Those guys in the Spaceship gotta be somethin' else, going to die thousands of miles from home."
"What? The Astronauts? They'll be fine! -Probably." Shuuhei laughed. "They're definitely insane, getting in that contraption at all, but they still gotta come home with all the rocks and whatever they get from the moon for the lab techs to look at."
"...How the hell are they getting back?" Renji frowned, rolling up onto his elbow to frown at his senpai. "I thought they blew up all the rocket getting off the planet?"
"They got a bitty rocket in the lunar landing craft that will get them between their ship and the lunar surface, and then they will angle the ship a bit and the moon will fling them back to earth the way earth flung them at the moon." Shuuei explained, not looking up from the weird bass-drum looking object he was messing with.
Renji opened his mouth, realized his friend probably understood it way better than he did, closed his mouth, shrugged, and changed topics. "So what is that thing you had me haul up here?"
"It's uhhh... Experimental. Haven't got a name for it yet." Shuuhei muttered, placing a level on top of it and frowning at the bubble before adjusting the legs bolted awkwardly to the side of the drum. "-But with all this excitement about the Lunar Landing, I realized Tousen-Taicho is... I mean he gets left out of a lotta stuff, y'know? But it's not like he can see the stars, or the spirit-moon, and I don't think he really understands orbital mechanics-"
"I sure fuckin' don't." Renji muttered.
"Yeah, because you're the kind of moron who put a ham sandwich in a VCR-" Shuuhei rolled his eyes.
"That was ONE TIME, and Matsumoto Senpai told me it was a Panini Press!" Renji sulked.
"-and then pressed "Fast Forward", but Tousen is actually smart as hell- I'm the one who can't explain it without gestures he can't see." Shuuhei continued. "...but I can use a camera obscura and reiryoku-sensitive film to sort of take an old exposure image of the night sky. I'm hoping that if I treat the exposed film right, that the light and dark parts will turn into different textures for him to read, like a braille sky."
"Oh." Renji muttered. "That's really nice of you actually."
"I mean, we'll see if it works." Shuuhei shugged, examining the level again. "Hand me the allen wrenches- What about your boss?"
"Captain Aizen? Uh- honestly? He seems a little freaked out by all this and I saw him fuckin' slam the newspaper into his wastebasket when he got back from the twelth." Renji winced. "He's weird like that. Sweet as cake most of the time but then there's these weird flashes of anger... and I'm not sure how much longer he's gonna be my boss."
"As in you got ambitions, or you think he's gonna get fired?" Shuuhei asked, staring at the level again.
"As in 'Tetsuzaemon Iba got in another brawl with his mother about him only being fourth seat when she made captain, and Liuetenant Madarame asked me if I'd updated my resume recently." Renji winced.
"Woof. Talk about a lateral promotion." Shuuhei winced. "Still, the pay raise would be nice. You could afford to take your girl Rukia somewhere up to her brother's standards!"
"IT'S NOT LIKE THAT!" Renji snapped, rolling over and jumping to his feet. "-It's -I'm sorry. It's kinda complicated." Renji sighed.
Shuuhei was silent for a minute as Renji sat back down on the grass, face in his hands. After a minute of fine-tuning the drum to keep it level, he spoke up. "You're more than good enough."
"Huh?" Renji jolted. "Oh, yeah- I'd be doing all the eleventh's paperwork but there's no way it's worse than the fucking rice subsidies accounting board-"
"That's not what I meant." Shuuhei glared.
"...I know." Renji groaned. "It's just. It's complicated, okay?"
"If you say so." Shuuhei shrugged. "Alright, hand me the flat box- thanks. It'll be ready for exposure in a minute, and I want to get it done before those clouds roll in." He gestured at the distant thunderheads threatening to bloom into a summer storm on the edge of the city.
The process was quick- the shielded plate went into the gap under the drum, and the light of the night sky was reflected onto it from a pinhole in the top. Once the metal plates were pulled back, it needed a few minutes to pick up enough light, before Shuuhei pushed the metal shutters back in and locked the plate in darkness until it could be developed.
"It's for taking pictures of the stars, right?" Renji asked as Shuuhei started disassembling the camera. "You could call that plate an Astrograph."
"Hah! Futuristic. I like it!" Shuuhei grinned. "C'mon and help me with this thing before the punishment squad turns up to kick my ass for having a camera within a mile of the second."

Aizen and kenpachi are girl dads
———————————————————————
Kenpachi is obvious cause the little girl he always has with him. That’s gonna be his daughter’s older sister basically. He’s more of the type to have three or four kids that all happen to be girls. It was never planned but damn was he happy because he loves doting on his girls. They are much like him personality wise. Every single one his energy. The baby girl however was your twin, she copied every single thing you did. All his girls does activities, oldest does ballet and the youngest three does sports. Kenpachi spends heard learning to do all of their hair because each one has different hair texture.
Aizen on the other hand would have twin girls and that’s all. One and done. He’s absolutely obsessed with his little girls. I could see him being something high power like a Really big lawyer. His girls have everything high brand. Both are totally spoiled. Oldest twin is pure you and younger one is just all aizen. They represent you both so well. He would have pageant girls. He blows bank on the girls for their pageants. Only gets his girls the best the money can buy. Even if it means he has to be corrupt.

Prologue - Chapter 1

Chapter 2
Aizen’s smile remained etched in your mind as you took position alongside Captain Soi Fon to battle the Fraccion of the Old Man Espada. He remained sitting on his throne, watching impassively as you fought his underlings. Soi Fon was busy fighting Ggio Vega while you were facing an Arrancar named Ajenjo Ibarra. He was holding his Zanpakuto in one hand and his other hand was powering up a cero. You sighed and unsheathed your Zanpakuto finally. This was going to be a long fight. Unintentionally, your eyes went to the blazing prison to your right. You could feel him there. He was calm. His spiritual pressure hadn’t changed a bit which made you nervous. If he wasn’t a bit rattled to see you all there, he definitely had something up his sleeve. From the corner of your eye, you saw a cero flying right at you. You dodged it easily with your flash step and attacked the Arrancar head-on. You were exchanging blows with equal proficiency. He blocked your sword with his and elbowed you in your stomach, sending you flying into a building. You crashed into a glass window, the shards hitting your face and hands. Before you could get up, you felt his presence behind you. He grabbed you by your neck and lifted you in the air.
“If we knew Soul Reapers were this weak, we wouldn’t have let Lord Barragan even set foot here. Pathetic.”
You scoffed at his words and kicked him right in his jaw, freeing yourself. He rubbed his jaw and sent a glare your way.
“You couldn’t possibly be calling me weak, could you? I haven’t even shown you a quarter of my power.”
“Is that so? What’s stopping you then?”
“I don’t like stomping on ants.”
He growled at your response and leaped at you with his Zanpakuto. You parried it easily and kicked him again, this time square in the chest. He got sent back a few paces and hit a wall. You decided to end the battle but your opponent got up and started screaming in rage.
“How dare you! I am Ibarra Ajenjo! I am a Fraccion of Lord Barragan! No puny soul reaper can lay their dirty feet on me!” His eyes were open wide and his face was twisted into an expression of fury. He held his zanpakuto with both of his hands and you realized he was about to release it.
“Slither, Bloodworm!”
His form started to change. His backbone extended and his legs disappeared. The hollow mask that was on his face now shifted to his back and covered his spine as spikes. His arms also became long and gangly. He smiled and you could see his teeth had also changed into fangs. His resurreccion was hideous. Without wasting a moment, he rushed at you with enhanced sonido. You barely managed to dodge as he tried to sink his fangs into your left shoulder. He turned to you swiftly, firing a cero with his newly formed “tail”. You decided against releasing your Zanpakuto.
“Bakudo 39, Enkosen!” A protective shield formed before you and took the cero head-on, destroying it effectively. Ajenjo’s frustration became apparent on his face as his elongated tongue darted out in a hiss, much like a snake. “Come on little soul reaper, release your sword.”
You smirked at him and used Kido instead.  “Bakudo 61, Rikujokoro!” The beams of light lodged themselves into his midsection, pinning him down. You lunged at him with your sword raised, determined to end it right there. However, just as you were about to stab him in the neck, his tail curved above his head and its point stabbed you in your arm. You winced and flash stepped away from him. He got rid of the kido and laughed. “You underestimate me shinigami!”
“It appears to be so.” You drew in a long breath. “I guess I have no option but to meet you with equal force.”
“Finally.”
You held your zanpakuto up horizontally in front of you.
“Breathe, Soyokaze.” Your sword disappeared, leaving only the handle behind. His eyes widened in surprise. “It’s time to end this.” You closed your eyes and sensed out every particle of your zanpakuto that was now a part of the air around you. You concentrated them around Ajenjo and opened your eyes.
“Kaze no kama!” The particles spun around him like a tornado and left a million cuts on him. He couldn’t comprehend as your attack was over in a split second. Blood oozed out from his cuts, leaving his otherwise white body a red mess. Your opponent fell dead and your zanpakuto returned to its sheath.
You left the place and decided to check on others. Ukitake was sitting on a roof and Shunsui was fighting an espada nearby. Soi Fon was now fighting the old Espada and Captain Hitsugaya was fighting the yellow-haired female Espada. You knew you couldn’t help any of them as it would be insulting. Your eyes once again found their way back to the burning flames. Aizen was more than capable of getting rid of them so why wasn’t he? Your gut feeling was telling you that there was something wrong with all of this. Ichigo and the other captains still hadn’t returned from Hueco Mundo. If there was something that had always been the same with Aizen, it was his far-sightedness. He always thought ahead. You glanced at the Head Captain who was standing near the fire, keeping an eye on it. Good. If he’s around, we might make it.
Aizen was standing in the middle of the flames, calmly reflecting on everything that was happening. You had just killed one of his henchmen but he was far from angry. He always knew you were strong enough to handle them, even the Espada. Aizen knew exactly how strong your air type zanpakuto was. It was like Senbonzakura, as in it could also turn into millions of small blades but being air-type, the particles became invisible to the naked eye. Like Haineko, it could cut anything it came in contact with but because the enemies couldn’t see it, they were usually defenseless.  It was perfect and it belonged to the perfect wielder, in Azien’s opinion. He had always been intrigued by you, even before he planned to marry you. You were just a seated officer in Squad 5. Aizen blamed that on Shinji’s lack of vision. He couldn’t see your potential or perhaps you hid it well. But Aizen saw right through your acts of being clumsy and lazy. He understood you well. How couldn’t he when he was also putting on the same act? Pretending to be weak and emotionally sensitive so you could be left alone, he understood that. An excellent disguise. Aizen’s thoughts dwelled on you for some time. He found himself reminiscing the moments you had spent together. It was a foreign feeling. Never had he ever thought that he would one day regret something. And yet he regretted leaving you behind every waking moment.
The Espada that Shunsui was fighting had finally released his sword. The fight between them had intensified a lot. You stood beside Ukitake, glancing at the wall aflame between you and Aizen every now and then.  The espada, Coyote Starrk, was now goading Shunsui into using his bankai. You didn’t know much about it but Ukitake had once mentioned that if the Squad 8 Captain ever used his bankai openly, it would cause them more harm than the enemy. As soon as he heard it, Ukitake jumped into their fight and used his zanpakuto to reflect back the cero that Starrk had shot at Shunsui. His bankai must really be that frightening. Interfering in another’s fight was strictly discouraged and looked down upon. If Ukitake did it, it must’ve been for a very important reason. The fight went on between the Espada and the captains. In an instant, a Garganta opened above them and someone stepped out. You were hoping it was Ichigo but a small arrancar was the one who came into view. Behind him was a gigantic being, with a purple glowing eye. You recognized it from the day Aizen had left the Soul Society. Everyone’s attention was on the newly arrived arrancar.  He looked like a child and the thing behind him was formless. It was giant and had an equally big mouth. The arrancar began wailing loudly and the bigger one turned towards the fire restraining the traitors. Within a moment, he began blowing at the fire and extinguished it completely, freeing the three ex-captains. As soon as Aizen came out, your eyes went straight to him. You found him already looking at you. The corners of his mouth lifted up and if you didn’t know any better, you’d think he genuinely smiled at you. Bloody trickster! You turned away and shared a look with Ukitake who looked worried.
No one could comprehend what happened next. One moment Ukitake was looking at you and the very next he was plummeting down. The little Arrancar now stood in his place, blood dripping down his hand. Shunsui lunged at him, eyes full of anger. But he was intercepted by Starrk, who shot a cero at him point blank. Shunsui soon followed his friend down to the ground, falling face down. You couldn’t move. Your eyes were glued to Ukitake and Shunsui. They were lying on the ground motionless. The Arrancar wailed again and the giant thing again began blowing air, this time at the female Espada trapped by Hitsugaya and the old man Espada trapped by Soi Fon. Both of them were released immediately, rendering all the shinigamis’ efforts useless. The tide of the battle had once again turned in favor of Aizen. You looked at him again and sure enough, he stood there smiling. Of course, he was. Everything was as he wanted it to be. Aizen couldn’t be outplanned. They were doomed.

TITAN | YANDERE!AIZEN x TINY!READER | BLEACH
~ WRITING COMMISSIONS ~ ~ PATREON ~ ~ KO-FI ~ ~ NOVELS ~
Disclaimer: This is a work of fiction. I do not own anything except my own writing. All properties belong to their respective creators. Content Warnings: Yandere / Kidnapping / Giant/Tiny A/N: Request [8/10] for my 100 Followers Celebration!
I did tweak the request to make it a little less Attack on Titan and a little more Arrietty, hope you don’t mind! The idea of a Borrower-sized Reader is pretty cute! Though if the lover is a yandere, isn’t it basically worst case scenario? T^T
So of course I made him into one…
also isn’t aizen already kind of gigantic as is??? like look at this man he’s built like a wardrobe
Tumblr media
Aizen Sōsuke was everything you feared. Everything you ran from. Everything you fought.
And yet, he was everything you couldn’t escape, as you would soon discover.
Las Noches awaited, realm of the Hollows. It had always seemed more myth than reality, a distant danger for someone else to face, but now you found yourself up to the challenge. Entering the rift, you carried with you all the strength of battles past, and Hollows destroyed.
You had to do this. It was your duty, it was everything you had trained for. And hopefully, once Aizen was defeated, you’d see some kind of peace again.
Light fading, the world around you came back into view, the portal spitting you out into this foreign place. Instantly, a chill enveloped you. An eerie uneasiness.
The corridors of Las Noches were vast and empty, stark and dull and as empty and soulless as the deserted, barren world outside the thick windowless walls. But it was grand, too grand. The distant door at the end of the hallway was as tall as a Tokyo skyscraper.
This…can’t be right.
It soon dawned on you. You were no larger than a doll.
Somehow, you’d turned tiny entering this place. Nobody had mentioned this would happen, that was for sure.
Shaken, you were unable to move for a time, feeling like your little feet were glued solid to the ground beneath them. The growing rumbling, thudding reverberating through the ground only registered when it was too late. His shadow fell over you before you even realized he was there.
“And what do we have here?”
His voice was so smooth. Your blood chilled.
When you finally willed yourself to look around and up, you saw the gigantic man crouching lowly over you, his immense form more petrifying than any oversized Hollow you’d ever faced. His lips curved into a smile that made it clear he recognized you.
“A little intruder?”
Aizen.
You had no time to think before your body acted for you. You darted away from him like a mouse, hoping that as disturbingly flawless as this place appeared to be, you might be able to source some crack or hole in the wall you could escape into.
But you didn’t make it far. His hand shot out, impossibly fast, his fingers curling gently around your tiny form. You kicked, you squirmed, but it was useless. His grip may not have been intended to harm, but it was firm, unyielding, and it lifted you off the floor fast enough to give you a head rush.
“Shh,” he murmured, his thumb brushing lightly over your trembling figure once you were level with his face. “You’ll hurt yourself if you keep that up. Consider that a warning.”
You trembled uncontrollably, your chest heaving as you stared up at him, your eyes wide with terror. He tilted his head, studying you like a scientist examining a rare specimen.
“Was it what you expected?” he asked softly, keeping his thumb pressed to your abdomen, in a way that kind of made you flustered even if you wouldn’t readily admit it, “I prepared this curse knowing you were coming.”
He tilted his head slightly, the stray brunette strand that often hung over his brow shifting closer to his eye, “I caught wind you were defeating enemy after enemy, each one more powerful than the last. So I decided, for my own sake, to take precautions…”
Aizen? Admitting you were strong? Maybe even being a little afraid of you? That was…strangely flattering. But it didn’t mean much when you were pint-sized like this.
“Let me go,” you demanded, though your voice wavered, betraying just how afraid you actually were.
His smile widened, a glint of amusement flickering in his eyes. “Let you go? Oh, little one, I don’t think you understand. You came here of your own volition. I’ve got you right where I want you. Why would I let you leave?”
He rose to his full height, cradling you in one hand as though you were a precious artifact. The motion made your stomach lurch, the sheer scale of him overwhelming in a way that no amount of preparation could have braced you for. It was a bit like the pit you’d get in your stomach when a plane took off.
He walked through the double doors at the end of the corridor, making his way deeper into the heart of the complex until he had reached his private room. Approaching his desk, he set you down carefully on its plain greyish white surface, his gaze never leaving you.
“You’re mine now,” he said, the words simple but absolute. “No more hiding. No more running. You belong to me.”
You stumbled back beside a stack of black leather-bound books, your legs trembling as you tried to process his words. “I’m not…I’m not yours! I’m not some doll! You can’t just-”
“Oh, but I can,” he interrupted smoothly, his tone unshakable. He leaned closer, his face filling your vision, his sharp hazel eyes zeroed in on you, his breath warm against your skin. Your cheeks reddened unwillingly.
“You’ll come to understand that soon enough.”
He reached out again, his hand lingering in the air as though daring you to move. You backed up with petite, staggering steps, your heart hammering in your chest. When you didn’t try to run, knowing you had nowhere to go save for the plunging edge of the desk, his fingertips closed in. They brushed against your little arm with a gentleness that seemed almost mocking given the sheer power he wielded.
What he could do, if he wanted to.
“Don’t worry,” he said softly. “I’ll take care of you. You won’t need to fend for yourself or fight anymore. Doesn’t that sound nice?”
It didn’t. It sounded like a cage, like the end of everything you had fought so hard to preserve. You came here to kill him and end this nightmare, not to get shrunken and captured. It felt like the ultimate humiliation, and he no doubt knew that.
Quite content to toy with you, his fingers curled lightly around you once more, pinching your middle and lifting you helplessly into the air.
He held you there, suspended, his gaze growing darker as he studied your every detail.
“You’ve had my interest for a while, I can admit,” he murmured, his thumb trailing over your side, barely brushing your frame but enough to make you flinch. His words were almost more shocking than the shrinking.
Interested in me?
“So delicate, and so breakable now. For all the strength you’ve gathered, for all the fights you’ve won, in the end…this is all it amounted to.”
Shamed, humiliated, and realizing with dismay that he was right, you lowered your head, staring down at the desk meters below with a blank, bewildered expression. Aizen observed you for a moment, resting his well-carved cheekbone against his knuckle, admiring his little pet.
When he lowered you again, it was only to place you in a small glass enclosure he had pulled from a drawer. It was pristine, minimalistic, with cushions lining the bottom—a mockery of comfort, and clearly prepared in advance for this exact outcome.
You’d believed you’ve have the upper hand. You’d naïvely assumed he wouldn’t expect you were coming. A one warrior ambush, your last heroic stand.
So much for that.
You stared up at him as he closed the lid of your prison, his smile still in place.
“Don’t look at me like that,” he said, his tone almost scolding. “This is simply a new way of living. You’ll learn to appreciate it in time.”
Your hands pressed against the glass, your breath fogging it as you stared at him in disbelief. “You can’t do this. You can’t keep me here! I’m a human being!!”
He chuckled, the sound low and resonant. “Oh, little one, I can do anything I like.”
Strong hands gripped the edge of the desk, his shadow swallowing the box and engulfing you like the cloak of night.
“And you’ll find that the more you resist…”
His gaze darkened, practically glowing, as he stared down at his toy-sized prize. Patiently won.
“…the tighter my grip will become.”

Happy Birthday to Sosuke Aizen~!
Takes place during his captain years. No gender specified; not specifically stated that reader is a soul reaper or not; Sosuke is reader's husband; not proof read forgive me
His marriage to you was more for convenience sake, helping fluff up his reputation as a soft and caring captain, but... Sometimes it seemed like more.
It was a rare occasion where you had awoken before your husband, Sosuke Aizen current captain of Squad 5. He was always so busy with his work that he didn't often have time to sleep in or relax much... So you were surprised to see him still deep asleep when you awoke.
This was great, though! You and always wanted to surprise him with breakfast in bed and now you had the opportunity to do so! A silent giggle buzzed in the back of your throat, sneaking away from your shared room and into the kitchen. You knew better than to make anything too complicated-- he wasn't particularly a heavy sleeper and that meant he would be awake before you could finish an elaborate meal...
You proceeded to work as quickly and quietly as you could manage, enjoying the smells that came from the cooked food.
In your room, Sosuke had finally awoken and was sitting up in bed. His hair was a mess and his eyes were still closed, clearly a sign that he was definitely not ready to be dealing with anyone yet. Despite what sleep he got, he felt as if he had gotten none of it. It was no different than laying down to sleep and immediately sitting up. A small quiet groan escaped him, using his fingers to tame the bed head even a little bit.
It was about that time he noticed that you weren't in bed currently, causing him to raise his brow slightly. It showed how bad his sleep had been since he hadn't even stirred when you apparently woke up and left. Your side of the bed was cold from your absence and that's how he knew you had been gone for quite a bit. He sighed and reached for his glasses, getting up and looking for you. That was the normal thing for a spouse to do, right?
That was when he found you putting the finishing touches on breakfast you had tried to surprise him with. He blinked slowly, surprised to find you working so hard on something so simple. It wasn't the fact you were cooking for him, in fact you did that quite often, it more the fact you went so far out of your way to do something for him. To him, it felt pointless to work so hard on something that would be gone within minutes... But that was because he was always looking at things practically or in the sense of how it could further his future plans.
"Good morning," he would call out with your name, giving his usual smile. "I hope you weren't waiting long for me." He knew you had just finished... Still, he had appearances to keep up. He hadn't seen the point or need to use his Kyoka Suigetsu on you, so he just took extra precautions when playing the loving husband.
"Eek! Oh! Sosuke, you scared me!" You whined softly and turned towards him, smiling awkwardly. "I was going to bring it to you... I wanted to surprise you with breakfast in bed for your birthday!"
Blink.
"Oh, it's my birthday, isn't it?" He had genuinely forgotten with all the work and secret planning he had to do.
"Yes! Silly! Well, I guess I can't surprise you with breakfast, but I'm sure my present will surprise you!"
"You didn't need to do that..." He would smile softly at you, gently petting your hair down. He proceeded to help you take the food to the table, sitting down and eating with you. At least now he understood why people were acting a bit strange around him in the last week or so. They were likely talking about what they should get him as a birthday present...
He had been so in thought about how he would have to proceed with interactions for the rest of the day that he hadn't noticed you put a small box in front of him. "What is this?" he would ask when he finally noticed it.
"It's your birthday present! I know it's not exactly the biggest or the most extravagant, but... I hope you like it." You smiled sweetly, excited for him to open it.
"I don't know how many times I've told you that you don't need to get me presents, but I appreciate it," he would explain with a small smile. He would carefully peel off the wrapping paper and open the small box to find a necklace inside. It was a simple silver chain with two charms hanging from it; the two being astrological signs. He blinked quietly for a moment, looking up at you.
"There are two?" He held the necklace up, showing off the fact it had the two charms on it.
"Yes!" You chirped out happily, smiling softly. "One... Is for your sign and the other is mine," you explained, looking away with slight embarrassment.
It was genuinely a very sweet gesture. He glanced at it more carefully for a bit longer, unsure what to call the emotion that had stirred inside of him. Instead of dwelling on it, he merely thanked you and put the necklace on quietly. Your eyes practically sparkled when he put it on, happy that he enjoyed your gift.
Your reaction solidified to him that he had made the right choice as your loving husband.
----
Unknown to you, no one had ever gotten to see the necklace you had worked so hard to pick out for him. He had made the conscious decision to hide that from his peers who had been under the effects of Kyoka Suigetsu.
One regret he had come to realize he had... was leaving you behind. He knew you would disagree with his plans, so he had no choice... And, at the time, he believed he was only with you for the fake image he had created for himself...
Yet, there he sat, in his throne in Las Noches, looking at the necklace you had gotten for him so long ago. His own little private treasure he refused to share with the world. Between the two zodiac symbols was now his wedding ring, showing the life he took for granted when he had it.
Perhaps should your fates align in the right way once more, he would tell you exactly how much you meant to him. Perhaps.

Temporary Whispers Of The Heart ⊹₊⟡⋆ | Sosuke Aizen X Reader Chapter 8 | The Wonder Of You
˖ ✦ ‧₊˚ ⋅ The autumn leaves left goosebumps on your skin as they gently caressed you, falling gracefully from the tree you were seated under. You munched on the gyoza in your hands, a snack you had mustered with your low income. Tainting the sky a myriad of ochre, the sun began to set under the horizon. And just as you were about to lie down on the blanket you had placed underneath you, the voice of a girl could be heard behind you.
“Is that… Pork gyoza?”
Snapping your head behind you, you discerned a little girl with a lieutenant badge. Yachiru Kusajishi. Her soft pink hair flowed slowly in the wind as she gazed at you with large eyes.
“Yes. It is…” You reply, slightly intimidated. Noticing her eyes drifting to stare hungrily at the dumplings beneath you, you smiled and decided to give one to her.
“You seem hungry. Would you like one?”
Yachiru smiled giddily, readily accepting the food as she plops herself down next to you.
“Thank you! You’re so kind.”
You returned a grin, letting out a soft breath of laughter as you watched her devour the food given to her.
“Hey… Why are you out here? Where’s your home?”
She mumbles between bites, readily gulping down your snack. You sheepishly look away, chuckling.
“Ah well… I don’t have one. Don’t have enough money to get one either.”
Yachiru stares at you, bewildered. "Huuuh? You look pretty young. Can't you just stay with your family."
Gulping at the mention of family, your gaze drifts onto your lap as you sigh. A moment of realisation crosses the lieutenant's face.
"Hey... Aren't you... Yoruichi's sis?"
You could feel your shoulders slump, and as you began to respond, you were quickly cut off by Yachiru grabbing your hand and dragging you away with her.
“There you are! Captain Unohana has been looking for you everywhere. Come!”
As you let the small lieutenant lead you to the Fourth Division headquarters, you couldn’t help but admire the small adornments around the division. Lights decorated beautifully with lanterns for the coming of the new year. For the time being, you were placed somewhere low in the Fourth Division, but you were just an average reaper in training. You had never even properly met Captain Unohana.
In the Captains head office, neatly stacked papers greet you, as well as Captain Unohana, Captain Shunsui and Captain Ukitake.
“Welcome, Y/N. Or I should say, Miss Shihoin.”
You gulped the lump in your throat in fear, afraid of what was to occur. Were you going to be banished from the Gotei 13? Did they find out about what had happened? But how… You had eradicated your last name when applying to be a Soul Reaper.
Yachiru sat herself on the dark oak desk ahead, happily finishing her food as she looked at Unohana.
“Hey! I brought her to you. And she even offered me food.”
Ukitake passed her a bag of sweets before she giddily fleed, bidding farewell as she exited out the door. As the shoji door slid shut, all eyes returned to you. You awkwardly bow, before looking down at the floor in respect.
“So… Y/N. I have heard of your circumstances.”
You hung your head low, afraid of what was to come. Underneath the warm hearted appearance, somehow you could sense something unnerving underneath as Unohana approached you. She brought a hand up, and you expected the worst, closing your eyes and accepting whatever discipline was to come.
Soft fingers carefully caressed your tresses, gently rubbing your head.
"How long have you been living without a home?"
You looked up at her, your confusion augmenting.
“Uh… Six months now.”
Unohana's dark eyes rest as she smiles wearily, tucking a strand of hair behind your ear.
“Royal families… Are something incomprehensible. They operate on a much different plane. I don't want you to lose your potential because of matters like this, Y/N. I’ll give you a home.”
Nodding in respect and appreciation, you bow once more.
“Just don’t lose sight of who you really are. Because I know you can flourish into something beautiful.”
˖ ✦ ‧₊˚ ⋅
You hum as you carefully slide your pen across your page, scribbling out the recipitent of your letter, Zaraki Kenpachi, alongside many other arrays of words. Signing off your name with a flick , you lean back in your seat and take a sip from the ceramic cup you held in your hands. As you drift your eyes from your letter to the kitchen, you notice a certain individual shuffling around and making noise.
You slam your cup of chamomile tea down onto your desk, pushing your chair out from behind you as you stand up to look at him.
"Mr. Aizen. What are you doing."
You look down to see luscious, chestnut locks shift in their place as Aizen turns to look at you walking towards him. His mahogany irises and soft tresses glimmer in the office light of the kitchen as he maintains fervent eye contact with you, looking you up and down . You suddenly feel somewhat insecure, afraid your dark plaid office skirt or white button up were discombobulated and bothering his vision. His slow gaze up your body to your eyes almost sent shivers of fear or butterflies down your spine, which one it was, you couldn't tell.
"The tea you have here disgraces my tongue. I've placed it on the office order list to pick some of the finer brew's from the Soul Society."
You raise an eyebrow, scoffing at his petulant demand. “This is an office, not your playground. You may not displace and replace my items as you please.”
Sosuke simply grins at your remark, toying with the silver fountain pen placed in his grip before tapping it on his lip.
“I’m sure your tongue misses the feeling of it fresh from the Rukongai. The preservatives here are… Nothing but obscene.”
You sigh, unable to disagree as you desperately yearn for the taste of traditional brew pleasantly tainting your tongue.
As Aizen’s sharp features focus on gracefully sliding the nib of the pen across the paper, you find your tongue yearning for the taste of something completely different. You could only swallow, entranced as you watch him tenderly run his tongue across his lips.
“Aren’t you being selfish?” You frown, crossing your arms as you dismiss whatever desirable aura emitting from him was hypnotising you.
Sosuke glances at you with a quick side eye, raising an unamused eyebrow.
“I’ve already written your precious jasmine tea down.”
Your eyes slightly widen in bewilderment as rhapsodies of joy pulsate throughout your whole being. Forcing your smile to dissipate, your eyes simmer down to a suspicious glare.
“And what about-”
“The others were jubilated at the mention of trying out authentic Shinigami tea.” A fervent glare met your own as Aizen provided a clear answer to all of your rebuttals.
“Stop worrying. It’s only bothering the both of us.”
As he walked off, you could only watch with your jaw hung slightly, trapped in your many queries.
Is he toying with me?
He's definitely toying with me.
Heaving out a large puff of air, you exasperatedly sat back down onto your desk and began to scribble signatures onto a large pile of papers. Caught up in your thoughts and muttering under your breath, you didn’t realise a timid tap on your shoulder as you aggressively signed the renewal of the lease to the property.
“Uh, Miss Shihoin… Is everything alright?”
Karin’s sheepish grin greets you as you crane your neck to question your intern.
 “Yes… Why?”
Her pointer finger leads your eyes to a blot of ink staining the lease paper, and your heart almost leaps out of your chest as your face fills with dread. “Oh god…” Stumbling around in an unorganised manner, you desperately try to find a spare tissue before Karin places one in your grip from her own set of pocket tissues.
“Apologies for the… unpleasant show. What was it that you needed?”
The inquisitive girl stared at you dubiously, her suspicion augmenting.
“Miss Shihoin, you’ve been acting kind of... off lately,” Karin says, tilting her head. “You seem quite tense.”
You sigh, sitting back down and rubbing your temples. "It's nothing. Just a lot of work and... some other things on my mind." Karin narrows her eyes in response, clearly unconvinced. Her suspicious glance draws a reluctant chuckle from you.
"I'm fine. Can you please go deliver this letter to Shuuhei and ask him to Reishify it and bring it with him to the 11th Division when he returns to the Seireitei?"
The intern takes a deep breath, taking the letter before looking around cautiously and then placing her eyes back on you. “Look, when I'm upset, I do this thing where I vent into my draft emails. I write down everything I'm upset about. Then I just save it and never send it. I don't know about you Miss, but I find it quite therapeutic."
You raise a suspicious eyebrow. “Draft emails?”
"It helps me gather my thoughts and keeps me from snapping at people. Like my brother. Maybe it could work for you too."
You glance at Karin, her expression earnest despite her casual demeanor. The idea sounds absurd at first, but as you consider it, you can’t deny the appeal of getting your frustrations out without consequences.
“Alright,” you mutter, opening your email client. “I’ll give it a try.”
Karin grins, clearly pleased with herself. “I'm glad you're giving it a go.” The raven haired girl promptly leaves, humming to herself in glee.
You can’t help but laugh as you start typing, feeling a surprising sense of relief with every word that flows onto the screen.
You end up spending your whole lunch break furiously typing draft emails, venting all your emotion out. Karin's suggestion was one of the best things bestowed to you in your difficult life lately, you really felt like you could get some of your pent up feelings out in an orderly manner, with no consequence.
˖ ✦ ‧₊˚ ⋅
A mundane day the rest was, your communication with Aizen mitigating as moments passed and your busy schedules refused to connect. Maybe that was for the best. Though, you certainly didn't appreciate the gnarly glares the man shot you from a distance. What he wanted, your heart would never know.
Entering the lift with him had become routine now, as both of you finished later than the others. Boring small talk, awkward hums… It was almost insufferable.
Today Aizen broke the silence, crossing his arms.
"You took quite the long lunch break today."
You scrunch up your nose, crossing your arms to mimic his actions. Of course, it had to be a jab at you.
“I make up for it with my work.”
“I’m sure you do. What were you doing?”
“None of your business.”
Raising an unamused eyebrow, Sosuke simply scoffs at you before looking away.
“You’ve certainly gotten slack in the office. I do wonder who the poor recipient of your furious typing was.”
Before you could gruffly respond, the lift doors opened to the most unpleasant sight you could ever dream of.
Your jaw drops in disgust, it felt as if ten panes of glass had just been smashed on your head. You wish on every one of your lucky stars that you were only seeing things, and that the sight beheld in front of you was not real. You look up to see Aizen's reaction, indifferent as always.
“Heya, doll.”
Hirako Shinji lay in front of you, a loosely buttoned up ivory shirt and beige pants, his hand adorned with several silver rings holding a bouquet of cheap roses… You did not like cheap roses. Something you had tried to teach him, many times. You were a woman with standards. One who should be treated like she was the most exquisite star in a museum of planets. Watching his blonde bob bounce as he took a step forward only served to piss you off to oblivion even more.
A small smirk taints Aizen’s lips, a benign chuckle emitting from his lips.
“Ah, I see.”
Before you could explain, the man had already walked off. Your patience was about to snap into several pieces and spill all over the floor. As the blonde approaches you, you storm up to him first and grab his collar.
“What do you think you're doing?!”
Shinji scoffs, pouting at you disheartenedly. “What does it look like? I’m tryna make you mine again, doll.” He tenderly attempts to hold your arms, but you were quick to sharply whack his arm away.
You smack your face with your palm, sighing. “What gave you the idea that I wanted to be with you again, Hirako!?”
Shinji rolls his eyes, thinking of how you could be so oblivious to your apparent… Ubiquitous love, with him. “I could tell after that phone call... Why are you so worked up?-”
A moment of realisation crosses his face as he watches your eyes dart for a second to Aizen in the distance, reading his expensive silver watch and waiting for his car to arrive. Shinji sighs, laughing a little.
“Ohh.. Yer’ a sick woman.” He snickers softly, shaking his head as he tuts at you.
“You’re a sick man!” You rebuke, appalled at his narcissism.
“Oh, I’m the sick man. What about yer man over there?”
“He is not 'my man'.”
You both glare at each other, electricity almost jolting out of the vexation heating between you two.
"Are you insane? Come on, you can't tell me you're interested in that dick. And not me. Ya know, you've been on my mind a lot. And I know I have too, with that call and the party…”
“Oh, god… Please fuck off.”
Hirako raises an eyebrow at your sudden expletives, almost humoured.
“You can’t give us a chance?”
“I would rather be with that dick over you.”
You couldn’t believe the words that had escaped your mouth and neither could Hirako apparently with his gobsmacked expression, as you quickly strutted off to Rangiku’s car arriving in the distance. You swallow the lump in your throat, somehow sentimental memories had decided to come out at the sight of Shinji again. Yet you couldn’t let the past latch onto you any longer. You had put so much effort into moving on from his previous wooing and love bombing.
Shinji Hirako and you had a rocky relationship, filled with constant arguing and jealousy from his side. Once he had heard who your first love was, it was like a constant jab in your side. Always mentioned in arguments, always used against you. It always ended up in you apologising, letting the man walk all over you because of a stupid mistake you had made to like someone in your past. Not to mention the consistent snide comments, and narcissism. The constant threats to leave you had eventually gotten to you, and one day you had let him do it instead of begging for him back, after something he had said about you.
“You’re a crazy woman. No wonder you were kicked out of your own home, you’re insufferable!”
“... I’m leaving.”
“What? No… Baby, you know I didn’t mean that… I’m sorry… Please don’t-”
Matsumoto watches you rest your head against the window, a soft tear running down your cheek. Just as she was about to query your dampened mood, you shush her with a finger and pat her head, resting your head back into the seat.
Without asking any questions, she drove off and you started your traverse back home in silence.
“That dick, huh?”
Simpering, he breathlessly laughed as he adjusted the silver watch adorning his wrist.
˖ ✦ ‧₊˚ ⋅
“I think you need to take a day off work.”
You glare at Rangiku almost incredulously, you knew you couldn't do that.
“What? With what reason.”
Picking at the tofu in her miso soup at the low table you were seated at, Matsumoto sighs and leans forward, resting her chin on her palm as she gives you a knowing look. "I can see that you're about two seconds away from losing it. Aizen's uh, kerfuffles… Shinji showing up with roses, you're bound to snap girl. And honestly, it'd be entertaining, but it's not exactly professional. And I care about you too much to let that happen."
You groan, running a hand through your hair. “I can’t just take a day off… Shunsui’s a different story, but Aizen would-”
"Let you." Rangiku interrupts with a sly grin. "Y/N. From what I've heard from you, he practically makes up excuses to hover around you. I think he'll even suggest that you stay home if you just look a little more ghastly tomorrow.”
You scrunch up your nose at Matsumoto. The mere thought of Aizen doing something so considerate makes your stomach twist.
“He wouldn’t care. He’s already swamped with work right now… He’s insufferable with me and sharing the load currently.”
Rangiku snickers. "Insufferable, huh… With your life, it seems like you've got yourself a shoujo novel going on."
"Shoujo novel? Furthest from, actually. Shinji's just some touch starved loser and Aizen is…"
“...Is?” she presses, her grin widening.
You hesitate, the words catching in your throat.
A thorn in your side? … Or the man who had somehow paved his way painfully into your thoughts more than you cared to admit?
"Complicated," you mutter finally, averting your gaze.
Rangiku hums, clearly delighted by your vague answer.
"Complicated. Sure. Let's go with that. But hey, if Shinji is getting jealous, maybe someone else is too..."
You scoff. "Don't be ridiculous."
"Mm, I don't know," she teases, scooping up her soup. "I don't know him as well as you do , but sometimes the quiet ones are the most dangerous."
You roll your eyes, trying to dismiss her words, but they linger in your mind after the conversation ends.
“Fine, if you’re not taking a day off, at least come to the department drinking party next Friday. Please. I need someone to unwind with me.”
You roll your eyes. “Rangiku, you turn into a circus at those events. I really am not in the mood to be your caretaker.”
“Well…” she mumbles, taking a bite out of the tofu in her chopsticks. “That’s the point. Get drunk and let loose… Trust me, you’ll stop looking like you’re carrying the weight of the Soul Society on your shoulders.”
“I don’t think alcohol is the solution to my problems.” you mutter, poking at your tofu in a similar manner as she was before.
Rangiku scoffs, brushing her hair over her shoulder dramatically. “You can use alcohol to escape that enigma, and he probably won't show up… Maybe.”
Her tone drips with implication, and you narrow your eyes at her. "What's that supposed to mean?"
“Oh, nothing,” she replies, a grin spreading across her face. “Just that certain people have been known to make an appearance when they think they’re not expected to.”
You groan, knowing exactly what she's hinting at. “If you're trying to push some ridiculous agenda about Aizen coming, then drop it. Because I'm certain he wouldn't go to a petulant event such as that… At least I hope, there's no way he could-"
"-Be interested in you?" Rangiku interrupts, grinning even wider now. "Watching you two interact in the few times I have, feels like viewing a really tense chess match, but instead of pawns, you're throwing thinly veiled insults and lingering stares at each other.”
You flush, stabbing at your tofu with unnecessary force. “He's simply infuriating, end of story. And stop cutting me off like that…”
"Infuriatingly handsome, maybe," she quips, laughing when you throw a napkin at her.
"Okay fine," you grumble, giving in just to shush her. "I'll go. But if it turns into another one of those nights where you try to set me up with some random guy, I'm leaving."
"It's not, I swear." Rangiku says with a wink. "It will be... Mostly civilised. The interns will be coming, but some are underage, so they'll be in another room."
"You know, I don't get why you're so forgiving to him." You suddenly state, slurping up the last of your soup in the bowl.
“... I’m not, really… But I can identify what’s best for me and other Shinigami’s. If I just focused on the past, how would I be able to focus on and protect what I love in the present.”
A glance to the frame of Gin sent a pang of pain through your heart.
“And it was that idiot's idea to do something so dangerous and brutal and then yield the consequences…”
You nod in agreeance, seeing what she was getting at. Patting her shoulder, you ask about her day.
“Anyways, enough about that. How was your day?”
˖ ✦ ‧₊˚ ⋅
As you two laugh and share moments of joy together, you couldn't help but feel a mix of apprehension and curiosity as you consider her words from before. Maybe she's exaggerating, but then again, with him, nothing ever feels entirely straightforward.
What's the worst that could happen? You laugh to yourself, almost bitterly. With your luck, you'd probably regret ever showing up.
And yet, you knew you’d be there anyway.

𝐀𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐧 𝐒𝐨𝐬𝐮𝐤𝐞. The man that has everything planned, widened  his chocolate orbs once the unexpected happened. It didn’t take him much to discover the truth, not because you wanted to hide it but because it was clear to him. Your body had changed; the little differences in your physique didn’t match the characteristics he had studied so exhaustingly about you. Those weren’t normal fluctuations in weight nor your cups size. But mostly, he noticed it on the way your hips slightly began to adapt to prepare for nine months ahead. Something that, inside of his own twisted thoughts, made his heart beat go faster.
The black tea he was sipping that morning fogged his glasses, he still uses them to read. However, the many technical and biological aspects of hollowification were set aside for as long as you watched through the windows of squad five on an autumn day. Sosuke took his glasses off and stood up, as always, in the only way he knows how to… dominantly, like there was nothing nor anybody above himself. Big hands reached for your hip bones, nose that traced a perfect warmth path from the crook of your neck to your ear. “How many weeks?” he asked, because he knew. “I am not sure… are you mad?” you asked back, knowing this could potentially ruin his plans. “Hmm…Mad…? How could I?” he answered. You watched his smile suddenly go from a smirk to a soft, soft expression. Sosuke melt, Sosuke felt like he wasn’t as lonely in this world as he used to think he was…
Tumblr media
𝐊𝐮𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐤𝐢 𝐁𝐲𝐚𝐤𝐮𝐲𝐚. Mornings have never been really lively; those days in which he calmly sat on his special chair, drinking his tea while you still stay in bed suddenly got interrupted by a rather suspicious behaviour coming from you. Two mornings in which you ran to the bathroom covering your mouth were enough to set the alarms for the Kuchiki clan head. “She is sick. SHE IS SICK” he panicked. Not again, not again…  he felt once again the fright, the fear of losing his lover. Byakuya didn’t need much more to ask you, however the idea of pregnancy -even for one of the most intelligent minds of the Seireitei- never crossed his mind.  By the third day, in which you thought you could run faster than him, his foot stopped the door from closing. “I called Dr. Yamada Seinosuke, he is coming to check on you” those cold words sounded like an order, yet, he was as scared as a lonely child. Byakuya felt unable to express any other feeling, if any at all. All the progress he made, seemed to be lost in just a matter of seconds. His hands couldn’t touch you; his arms couldn’t hold you. Deep blue eyes had turned every shade of black, and once again he felt himself drowning into the deepest waters of his  inner world. “I am not sick, Byakuya…” you murmured, after washing your mouth with a soft smile and your hands over your belly. “I’m sure you can quite understand why I am feeling this way…” Oh, how to repeat the way those deep blue eyes suddenly became the colour of a summer sky.
Tumblr media
𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐨 𝐔𝐤𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞. You weren’t nauseous. You didn’t even notice at first. But he did. Somehow, without even knowing, every night in your sleep your hands reached for his and dragged them to your belly. It was as if you were asking him to protect something sacred. And he could tell a piece of his own soul nested in yours, safely resting, surrounded by the purest love. His long locks rained on your cheek, on that morning in which snow as white as them covered the green hills of the Seireitei. “I am sure there is something you need to tell me…” he whispered, caressing your cheek with the softest kiss. “Wh-wha-t….?” your lips began to tremble, many tears sprouted from your sleepy eyes. It was as if those words where the sudden revelation of something “you didn’t know you already knew” “I will protect both of you, even if it might cost my life… you two will be always first”
Tumblr media
𝐊𝐲𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐤𝐮 𝐒𝐡𝐮𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐢. He noticed something had changed the moment he came home and discovered you sleeping on the couch made into a ball. What is happening with his lively sweet doll? Why is she sad? What is going on? “Honey… what is going on? I’m sorry it took me a little bit more to come back home, being the general Taicho keeps me a lot more busier…” he sadly whispered in your ear, as he lifted you up and carried you to bed. The scent of his skin immediately brings a soothing effect to your unknown cause of anguish. You were a total mess of emotions that you couldn’t handle all alone, and you didn’t even know why it was happening to you. Shunsui put you in bed, and when he got inside the sheets you immediately snuggled against his wide chest. “I… I don’t know why I am so sad, but I’m so glad you are back” you whispered, kissing a patch of slight caramel skin. His hands instantly landed on the crown of your head, pulling you closer, surrounding you with the type of paternal care and protection he had always had. “You know, maybe it is that time of the month…” he dared to murmur, sure he was about to get a soft punch coming from you. Of course, not everything In a woman’s life has to do with her… hormones… You widened your eyes, blinking rapidly while looking at a clueless Kyoraku. “I… it’s- been- two months…” your lips trembled. You suddenly realized that, while lost into nightly sex sessions with him, your period -nor Shunsui’s cream pie kink- represented a problem to you. “YOU DON’T MEAN… YOU – AM I GOING TO BE A DADDY????? I AM GONNA BE A DADDY!!!! CALL ME DADDY, OK?” “Shunsui, for the love of God… I need to take a test- we-” you giggled, still amazed and unsure but excited.
Tumblr media
𝐊𝐞𝐧𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢 𝐙𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐤𝐢. Carrying every child he could find in the Seireitei on his shoulders, Kenpachi is the ultimate father. He doesn’t even have to try. He never cared for your period, it never represented something that could stop him to love you and your body. In fact, the messier the better. However, those moments began to be absent, and he didn’t take much to realize. During that spring night, in which he indulged in some sake with his subordinates, he suddenly popped a question to them. “Oi, my woman hasn’t got her period in two months… what the fuck?” Yumichika choked with his drink, while Ikkaku definitely spitted all the contents of his mouth in a violent motion. “TAICHO?” the beautiful Shinigami asked, once he had recovered the composure. “TAICHO… ARE YOU SURE?” he continued. “Yeah. What is it?” Zaraki asked, confused by their sudden reaction -and honestly about to laugh at Ikakku turning red, even his head, from how much he was coughing- “She could be pregnant, Taicho… are you gonna be a father?” Yumichika assumed, particularly amazed by how his captain was asking something so important and yet so obvious as if it was nothing. Kenpachi’s eyes suddenly turned from wild to more softened ones. He left the sake bottle down and stood up. With no words said, he left, leaving his subordinates astonished. A loud thump on the door, woke you up all of a sudden. You sit down on the bed, not sure whether to grab your zanpakuto or not until you noticed the topping huge silhouette of your brute lover. “Kenny, the fuck is going on?” you ask, while grazing your right eye. “ARE YOU PREGNANT WOMAN?” he asked, shouting, and desperately requiring for you to give him the truth. You gasp. You hadn’t even taken a test yet and even if it was pretty possible, how did he notice? “HOW? I DON’T KNOW YET” you told him, urging him to close the door. You didn’t really want the whole barracks to know. Kenny sat right by your side and cupped you to his lap. “Come’ere…” he murmured, nuzzling on your hair. He was holding you with the care someone would have to grab a piece of silk paper. He scoffed, sweetly with his eyes shut and a big smile adorning his sharp manly features. “Nhh… yes, yes yes yes!!!” he celebrated, ripping the most beautiful smile from your lips.

𝐈𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐝𝐚 𝐔𝐫𝐲𝐮. “Dr. Ishida, you have another patient” his secretary informed him by the end of his shift. “I have received every kid on the agenda for the day, is it urgent?” Uryu asked, he was used to treating kids whenever there was an emergency. Some paediatric patients can’t wait. “Well, is not urgent but the mother requested me with urgency that you please take a look at her baby” she said, walking into his office with two papers in her hands. She handed them to Uryu who soon discovered the next patient wasn’t even born yet. “But… (secretary name), this is a pregnancy test… I am not an obstetrician I shouldn’t- plus, whose tests are these? They don’t even have the name of the patient” the Quincy doctor stood up, a little annoyed and confused. “The patient is waiting on the ultrasound room; she has been already connected to the heart monitor by Nurse Inoue. Just please give the preggo lady a look. She specifically requested for a check-up by Dr. Ishida Uryuu” the secretary said, giggling and leaving the room as fast as possible. Uryuu remained silent for a few minutes, listening to those accelerated heartbeats coming from a few doors away. Even if he is a peadiatrician, OB and Neo are also located in the same floor as his, in his father’s hospital. He smiled sweetly, the sound of a new life thriving to become a beloved child in some months always melts his heart. He should go back home soon, but he couldn’t help it… there was something in that sweet beating melody that put a big smile on his face and called him to listen to it for a longer time. He put his coat on and thought of texting you “I’ll be home in a couple of minutes, just an urgent consult and I’ll be free” but he didn’t. He thought you were tired of excuses and him coming home late. Cleaning his glasses, he entered the ultrasound room, presenting himself without taking a look at the patient immediately. “Good afternoon, I’m Dr. Ishida. The secretary told me you request- (Name)…?” he stopped his words, discovering your barely bumpy belly and the sound of that heart coming from within you. “Good afternoon, Dr. Ishida. Would you like to meet the love of your life?” His eyes become waterfalls, Uryuu couldn’t move for a couple of seconds. He then, sat right by your side and with a soft peck on your lips, he whispered a heartfelt “Thank you, my love”…

𝐀̈𝐬 𝐍𝐨̈𝐝𝐭.
There was a time, where things were different. Where Äs didn’t feel pain, nor loneliness. A different outcome, where his body cured and the first steps out of that hospital were given holding her warm hand in his. No pain, no war, nor powers, nor Kings. It had been difficult to adapt for him; he didn’t know exactly what it was to make love. But he learned, naturally, by the calling of his heart and his needs. He also didn’t know what it was to love and be loved, but he discovered he didn’t need to try with you. And slowly but surely, a new family of you and him, happened. “Do you think I could be a good father someday?” he asked, while playing with your hair on a very orange sunset in the garden of your little house. “You wanna be a father, Äs?” you asked back, a little surprised by the right timing of his questioning. “I am a little scared… well, not a little… I am afraid of not being able to be one” he answered, looking right towards the fiery clouds of an autumn afternoon. His paler complexion, kissed by the dying sun rays, reminded you of those days in which it was too painful to be touched; and how hope was all that it was needed to progress. You look towards the crunchy leaves underneath your feet, and then grabbed his slim cold hand. “Follow me inside, there is something I need to show you…” “My dear Äs, I am about to grant you with a big power right now. Would you accept it?” you ask, covering his eyes with a black face mask that had been hanging there since covid. “What- yes? But what is it? You are scaring me” he murmured, confused. “Give me your hands” you ordered him, depositing something fluffy on his palms. When you took off the mask off his face, his black orbs fixed on the white pair of booties on his hands. “This…” “I am giving you a very strong power, the “F” one… Äs, you are gonna be a father… a fantastic father”

I have to say, this does it for me 🔥 He looks like a man in his 40s which is accurate I think. Very mature and it's easy to imagine him looking similar to this IRL

AEIWAM ask: if my Kenpachi Count is correct, Gosuke Kiganjo might have been the previous captain of the 11th that Zaraki killed to get his job. Is that the case? How many problems did losing that co-conspirator cause for Aizen? And how much of a grudge did he hold for the big unkillable brute?
(With Reference to This Post and This One) It started with a pair of oranges.
---
It was Monday, November 11th, and like every November 11th, there was a ruckus coming from the 11th division. It was a faint noise largely obscured by distance and the windows that had been closed against the early winter cold, but it was still present as Now-Captain Sosuke Aizen reorganized Former Captain Hirako's office into his own.
He was luxuriating in the task. It was something he'd looked forward to for a long time- getting rid of the complex musical speakers that droned the worst assemblage of noises that apparently qualified as music, and finally installing a proper filing system in it's place was filling Aizen with a profound satisfaction that he assumed was an overture to his inevitable victory.
The way everyone was pointedly referring to him as Captain Aizen because they were trying to memorize the title tickled him a bit too. Perhaps it was vain of him to enjoy it so much but... well, the little theatrical dance of pretending to pretend he wasn't grimacing and playing up the act of Putting On A Brave Face, only for whoever was speaking to try to reassure him that everything would work out, that he was being so brave, and you don't have to do this yourself-
"Oh no, I don't think I could stand leaving it to anyone else!" He'd respond, and the whispers of how Brave and Dutiful and Humble he was slithered through the division...
...An actor can hardly be faulted for enjoying the adulation of the crowd.
"Hey Bos- uh, Captain!" A boy's voice called behind him.
Of course, it helped that Aizen had been blessed with such a stellar supporting actor.
"Can you help me?" now-Lieutenant Gin Ichimaru asked, tugging on Aizen's Haori for his attention like a normal child, something the boy had learned was enormously charming of him. "-I can't get this thing to stay on my arm." he explained, holding up Aizen's old Lieutenant's badge, the slightly oversized sleeves of his Kosode falling back to reveal his toothpick-thin arms.
"Oh dear. That' won't fit you for a few years yet, will it Gin?" Aizen smiled, patting the boys head and kneeling down, tying it one way, failing, trying another, failing again, giving an enormously defeated sigh, going over to Hira- No, HIS desk now! his desk and rifling through the drawers, and came back with a Safety Pin to hold the badge in place.
"...There!" he beamed, patting Gin's shoulder when the badge didn't slide off his scrawny arm. "-Just don't tell Yamamoto-sama!"
Aizen then turned to look over his shoulder down the hall, where no fewer than a dozen faces peeking out of doors and around corners to watch the scene, and held a finger up to his lips with a small wink. The heads vanished with small gasps, charmed chuckles and a few high-pitched teakettle-like outbursts Gin had once aptly described as "Squeeing".
Scene over and Audience satisfied, Aizen closed the figurative curtains and literal door. Suigetsu pinged softly, Illusion activating- anyone listening in wouldn't quite be able to make out the words, but walk away confident that they were only discussing Division Business.
"You're in a good mood!" Gin grinned up at him, noting Suigetsu's call and the invitation to speak freely. "Though I guess it's not a surprise. It's been a very successful week for you!"
Aizen shrugged, just a little bit smug. "I am allowed to enjoy my laurels once in a while, I think."
Gin laughed, and hopped up to sit on the desk, kicking his feet over the footwell as he fished some oranges he'd taken from the commisary out of his pockets. "Speaking of people who have had very... intense weeks, where's old blind bones?"
"Captain Tousen actually insisted on attending the 11th Division Tryouts, even though both Ukitake and Kyorako offered to go in his place so he could rest!" Aizen said, taking one orange for now and another for later- he'd like to have to work through lunch, he was now so burdened with responsibility, a fun little scene he was workshopping in the back of his head. "...I suppose the poor bastard still regards Kiganjo as his responsibility."
"Hm." Gin nodded, mouth full of orange, spiral peel on the desk beside him. Aizen nodded at the peel and pointed at the trash can behind the boy.
"Sorry, Lord Aizen. That might be-' he swallowed, and tossed the peel over his shoulder and into the bin. '-but it could also be tactical. Unohana-taicho attends every year and within arm's reach of her might be the safest place for him right now. Be a shame if he had a turn, you know?"
"It's a damn shame that Kiganjo hasn't had one." Aizen grumbled.
"Yeah I was sure the Menos invasion would be enough to do him and the Loud Idiot from the tenth in." Gin sulked. "Oh well, I suppose it's good we had a trial run- now we know we gotta really ramp up production of Menos."
"Fortune was on our side in that respect." Aizen agreed, examining his first orange for the best place to begin peeling. There was an art to it, and the practice helped maintain his skills. "Maybe fortune will smile upon us again and Kiganjo will fall to some idiot at the tryouts."
He had just found the perfect place to begin when the ambient reiatsu of the Seireitei suddenly shuddered and bowed, like he was standing inside a rubber balloon and could make out the silhouette of someone approaching with a hatpin. Aizen reflexively jammed the orange in his pocket with it's companion as his head swiveled north like an owl. The incoming sharp point of reiatsu approached at an alarming speed-
BANG!
Whatever it was met the outer wall of the Seireitei. To Aizen's Horror, did not slow down. It was however now accompanied by successive crashes that seemed to be getting closer-
BANG!
BANG!
BANG!
THUNK!
Aizen ran out the door, and slid a bit on the wood floors as whatever it was suddenly flew over the 5th division and made impact deep into the relatively soft earth of the training grounds.
"What the-?" He asked glasses askew not with practiced effort but genuine bewilderment. It took a moment to recognize the massive object now embedded upside-down in the middle of the courtyard, because Aizen had only ever seen it rightside up, and firmly bolted in place. "-Is. Is that the North Gate?" he sputtered, the feeling of surprise now turning into something bordering on Genuine alarm.
"I think that's Fortune's idea of a smile." Gin winced. "We uh... We should probably hoof it to the 11th."
"What?" Aizen repeated, genuinely surprised. "Why?"
Gin pointed in the direction of the 11th, and Aizen sluggishly followed his gesture-
CRACK!!
The outburst of reiatsu was so explosive it generated it's own superbolt of lightning- though whether it was the result of ionization down from the clouds, or worse- came up from the ground, he wasn't sure.
"...Oh." He paled, then steeled himself, clenching fists and inhaling. "LISTEN UP!" he barked to be heard over the growing din of alarm. "Our first priority is to keep the city from falling to chaos until we're told otherwise! Seated officers! Each of you take a dozen men and head to the Emergency rally points! Keep civilians calm, and direct them away from the 11th! Gin, you're with me!"
"SIR! YES SIR!" the assembled Shinigami shouted, and quickly fell in as he and Gin took off with Shun-po towards the scene of the catastrophe.
"You've got speed on me Gin, go scout ahead!" He called and the boy vanished in a silver flash of light ahead of him. He could make out other approaching officers- Kuchiki, his lieutenant with the fancy sunglasses and his grandson from the sixth and Lieutenant Yamada and an emergency troop from the fourth.
Another flash- bright red-orange for the instant it was visible- and he realized Yamamoto himself had deployed to the scene.
"Why does every woman turn into a huge bitch when you ask her to smile?" Aizen groaned.
Even with Shun-po it still took him a few minutes to actually arrive, just ahead of the Kuchiki detachment, and landed beside Gin where he was standing on the roof of the 11th. "How is it?" he panted.
"You want the good news or the bad news first?" Gin grimaced as more people arrived behind them-
"Holy FUCK!" Yelped Captain Ukitake, a man who was so careful with his language he kept a division swear jar.
"What the hell made that?" Echoed Captain Kyoraku, voice trembling.
Below them, the Dueling arena in the courtyard of the 11th had been cleft in twain. As had the rest of the Courtyard. And the ground below. And the Sewers below that- even from up here he couldn't see how deep the cut went- it had to be at least a hundred feet deep, which made it... deeper than it was wide, a terrifying thought.
"Just give me the news, Gin." He said, trying to sound like a Captain in control of the situation, but his voice cracked for the first time since puberty. Aizen shuddered as he realized that all was left of Kiganjo were the splashes of red on either side of The Hole's median.
"Well uh, the good news is that the thing that made that hole was only mad at Kiganjo specifically, and has peacefully accepted the commission as Captain of the 11th." Gin explained.
"Oh thank god!" Ukitake exhaled with relief.
"...What's the Bad news?" Kyoraku asked.
"...The bad news is the The Thing That Made That Hole is now captain of the 11th." Gin winced, pointing him out in the surprisingly calm crowd. "...Also, I think he already knows Captain Unohana because he was awful polite without her threatening him at all, and unless I'm mistaken, I think he knows Tousen too."
Aizen followed Gin's lead with great alarm for the second time in under ten minutes, and barely managed to pick out Tousen's garish orange scarf in the crowd. Mostly because of the Giant man in about half of a ratty Yukata and mostly bandages was standing next to Tousen, hand on the captain's shoulder and grin so broad it was visible even from up here. The man had long, unkempt black hair that came down to the middle of his back and some kind of bundle on his shoulder.
"...I guess we go make our introductions?" Ukitake mumbled, and the other two captains shrugged, then jumped down.
Tousen's expressions were hard to read on a good day, and right now he looked so stunned he might have been hit by that lighting bolt.
"-See, I never forget a face!" The giant was saying cheerfully. "Even if it's in a pho- whatsit. The paintings that come out of a box." The giant was an ugly beast of a man, at least seven feet tall, standing barefoot, and had a strangely long and angular face, with dark, sunken eyes.
"A Photograph Ken-Chan?" the bundle asked, and Aizen realized that the thing draped over his shoulder was the little pink-haired girl Tousen had smuggled in and out of the Captain's meeting yesterday.
Uh-oh.
"Thems." The giant nodded. "You alright Kaname? You look like yer about to keel over."
"I- I'm-" he started to speak and Aizen snapped Suigetsu open to flash the assembled crowd and hopefully catch the giant in the illusion before Kaname could speak and blow the whole operation-
"-PUT THAT THING AWAY!" The Giant roared, glaring at Aizen over his shoulder ...Through an eyepatch? Aizen paused, startled.
"You look like sheep when you run up on 'em at the road at night." The Giant chuckled at him. "Keep yer panties on, it's all done and dusted."
"Really Sosuke!" Ukitake huffed, chopping him on the shoulder to make him sheathe Suigetsu again.
"My apologies for my friend, it's literally his first day on the job." Kyoraku waved apologetically. "I'm 8th Division Captain Shunsui Kyoraku, the silver fox is 13th Division Captain Jushiro Ukitake, and that's appointed-yesterday 5th Division Captain Sosuke Aizen."
"You certainly know how to make an entrance, Captain-?" Ukitake asked brightly, attempting to distract the giant from Aizen.
"Kenpachi Zaraki." The Giant leered down at them. The other eye was sunken and gaunt and an unpleasant shade of yellow as Zaraki studied them in a way that made Aizen's skin crawl, like without suigetsu's Illusion, Zaraki could somehow see him naked. Yep. That's an eyepatch... But why do I have the feeling he can see right through it? Right through me?
"My apologies, Captain Zaraki-" Aizen sputtered, closing the distance and putting his hand on Kaname's other shoulder. "-Kaname is a very dear friend of mine and it's alarming to see a stranger touching him." he explained, digging the heel of his palm into the Silence character carved into Tousen's shoulder.
Tousen made a faint clicking noise in his throat as he involuntarily swallowed the shriek of pain under the Curse's command, and nodded in agreement. There- if I can't conceal Tousen from this brute, I can at least force him to remain silent. The illusion is safe.
"...That so?" Zaraki asked, the yellow eye fixed on Aizen's hand, and Aizen let go before he realized what he was doing. What? Why am I flinching? Who is this guy?
"You've taken to your title quickly!" Aizen smiled up at him, feigning cheerful interest.
"Title Schmitle, it's been my Name since before you were a wiggle in yer Da's nutsack." Zaraki grunted.
Aizen felt his glasses slipping off his face without his permission again. I didn't think there was an expression worse than Hirako's 'since you were kickin' in your momma'...
"Ah, here's trouble- WHAT TOOK YOU ASSHOLES SO LONG?" Zaraki roared cheerfully at two men who appeared on the 11th's roof, panting and enraged.
"HI YUYU! HI BALDY!" Yachiru waved cheerfully!
"Yachiru darling! I'm so glad you're safe!" the lithe, effeminate one waved back before jumping down to meet them.
"FUCK YOU!" howled the bald, muscular one.
"FUCK ME YOURSELF YOU COWARD!" Zaraki called back, grinning as they approached. "Come look who I found-!
Fuck! Aizen suddenly realized that when he'd let go of Tousen, Zaraki had not, and was now herding him away from Aizen, his huge and terrible body between them.
"OH MY GOD! IS THAT KAKIYO'S BROTHER?" the fop shrieked with excitement, sprinting over and grabbing Kaname's hand. "Yumichika Aseyagawa- oh this is DELIGHTFUL! I've heard so much about you!"
"Holy shit! You're the guy that burned down that shitass Daimyo's compound down, right?" the bald, clownish one grinned, shaking Kaname's whole arm. "Ikkaku Maderame, it's such an honor to meet you!"
THEY KNEW KAKIYO!? FUCK!! Aizen paled.
"-Burned what down?" Kyoraku asked.
"Shut up cueball, they acquitted him." Zaraki grunted, flicking Madarame's forehead. "Speaking of- I haven't heard form Kakiyo in Donkey's years, how is she? Running one of these divisions, right?"
"Gin!" Aizen hissed, searching the crowd for his Lieutenant. "Do something!"
"...She's dead." Kaname said flatly, still dazed with the... the everything probably.
Zaraki's shock rippled through the ambient reiatsu like being dunked in cold water. There's no sign of Gin, and no way to silence Tousen-
"What? How?" Aseyagawa demanded, the other two equally horrified.
"She was murdered." Kaname's voice was small, weak and he was starting to sway- the effort of resisting the curse was about to make him collapse.
Zaraki slowly crouched down, perched on his toes so he could pull Kaname close, face to face
"Who." It wasn't a request.
With a shaking arm, Tousen pointed to the remains of the Arena.
SHIT SHIT SHIT FUCK!! Aizen felt his heart racing.
"I- I'm sorry. I tried to, but- I can't- I can't I'm not strong enough-" Tousen stammered, trying to speak through the pain.
"It's alright. I am." Zaraki said, voice suddenly strangely gentle, touching his forehead to Kaname's. He sat down, pulling Kaname down with him, half in Zaraki's lap so he couldn't be easily pulled away. "Tell me the details later, ya look like yer about to drop dead. Y'all got anything he can eat?" He glared at the other captains.
Ukitake immediately produced a large bag of candy and Kyoraku a flask that smelled like you could use it's contents for eye surgery. Aizen made a show of patting his coat, and suddenly remembered the two oranges Gin had handed him earlier.
"Uh, I have these..?" Aizen offered the fruits, mentally preparing to skin Gin.
"Good to see one of you is an adult." Zaraki chuffed, taking one of the oranges and handing it to Kaname, who pointed his face at it blankly. "You don't mind if I take the other? I sprinted here from North 69 on an empty stomach."
Tousen shook his head, still silent.
"Good man, you'll be alright. Ta." Zaraki said, taking the second orange from Aizen with a nod of gratitude.
... and then casually bit halfway into it like an apple and chewed, rind and all.
Aizen stood there, dial tone echoing between his ears. Gradually he became aware his left eye was twitching.
"Did. Did you just bite straight into that orange?" Kaname frowned.
Zaraki, to Aizen's horror, swallowed. "Yeh, what's wrong with that?"
"...Nothing at all." Aizen smiled, checking out of this scene. "Excuse me, I seem to have misplaced my lieutenant..." he mumbled, turning on his heel and wandering away from them.
---
Kaname felt Zaraki arch his back slightly, watching Aizen go.
"...Uh-huh." he said, smirk audible. "Alright lads, you got marchin' orders."
The other two men snapped to attention.
"Yumichika- There's a woman, beautiful and terrible as the dawn, with a coat like this 'cept it's got a four on the back. Go tell her Kaname's had a turn and whatever she says you say 'Yes Sir' and do it." he said, tugging on Kaname's haori.
"Sure, that's definitely a description I can follo- oh. Nevermind, I see what you mean!" Yumichika said, catching sight of Unohana. "On it, Boss."
"Er, It might help if I'm there to make Introductions..." Kyoraku offered, jogging after Yumichika.
"Ikkaku." he spoke as soon as Yumichika was out of earshot. "There's a man who's older than dirt who looks like he could set you on fire just lookin' at you, 'cos he can. He's got the Employee Handbook, can you go grab that?"
"...What Employee Handbook?" Ikkaku frowned. "Don't tell me you're quittin' the house? Madame won't like that."
"Madame sent me here today on purpose." Zaraki waved. "-But seein' as I just did a homicide right in front of everybody, the old man offered me a choice. Take Kiganjo's old job runnin' the 11th, or get burnt to ash right there, and I can't take care'a Yachiru if I'm charcoal."
"So... you're a shinigami Captain now?" Ikkaku asked, sounding more intrigued than anything.
"Seems so." Zaraki shrugged. "Funny thing- the Lieutenant and Third-in-command's seats are up for grabs too."
Ikkaku cackled. "Be right back, Captain!" he grinned and took off towards the center of the city.
"Oh, shit-!" Ukitake muttered, looking up from where he had been transfixed by the sight of Yachiru devouring the bag of candy. "Er- Yama-Ji can be a bit tetchy with strangers, I should probably go with him..." he winced, sprinting after apparently-Lieutenant Madarame.
Zaraki chuckled, weight shifting and turning his attention back to Kaname. "...You want some help with that, Little bat?"
Kaname nodded, too dazed to protest as Zaraki took the orange from him.
"That Aizen's a creep, ain't he?" he asked.
"Yeah! Kaname-kun told me to stay away from him, even more than I needed to stay away from Kiganjo!" Yachiru nodded, mouth still full of candy.
"Thought so." Zaraki hummed, fiddling with the orange. "You know what's great about first Impressions?"
Kaname shook his head, just relieved Zaraki was here to keep him from collapsing straight onto the pavement.
"They Stick." Zaraki said voice low and conspiratorial. "-No matter what Aizen sees me do from now on, no matter what anyone tells him, he will believe, at his core, that I'm an idiot."
-And with that, he pressed a perfectly peeled and clean segment of orange into Kaname's hand.
Kaname blinked a few times, turning the fruit over in his hands as he sluggishly connected the dots and, despite everything, slowly broke into a genuine smile.
"Kakiyo always said you were a clever bastard." Zaraki grinned, "Eat yer orange."
---
Aizen finally located Gin, hiding under the narrow gap under one of the stone storehouses in the less-used section of the 11th.
"What the HELL are you doing?" Aizen hissed at him.
"That thing ain't human." Gin whimpered. "I dunno what it is, but it ain't right."
"I agree he looks like a carcass that's too stupid to know it's dead but that's because he's a MORON." Aizen groaned, reaching under the porch and pulling the boy out by the scruff of his neck. "You should see how he eats oranges."
"I'm not kidding!" Gin pleaded, grabbing Aizen's sleeve. "He's got- I don't know, but when he looked at us? It was like he could see right through me!"
"Yes, yes-" Aizen waved. "-but even if he could, I promise, he hasn't got the brains to understand what he's seeing."
"He's gonna eat me." Gin muttered, hiding behind Aizen, peering out behind him in the general direction of courtyard.
"What's gotten into you?" Aizen huffed. "You've never been spooked before-?"
"I'm telling you!" Gin pleaded up at him, eyes very nearly open with alarm. "There's something deeply fucked up about that guy! He's dangerous! He's gonna find me and grab me and eat me!"
Aizen sighed, put his hand on Gin's shoulder, glanced around for witnesses, and finding them alone, backhanded Gin as hard as he could.
"Get ahold of yourself!" he snarled, and Gin flinched. He softened his voice, fingertips under Gin's chin, tipping his head up. "I'm sorry- it's easy to forget you're just a boy sometimes- but we can't lose our heads now, not when we've come so far. I'll deal with Zaraki, alright? I need you to keep Tousen in line- I've gotten him to shut up for now, but it's VITAL that he not speak to that brute until I've gotten him and his two clowns under The Illusion, got it?"
Gin nodded, sniffling, cheekbone turning slightly pink.
"Good boy." Aizen smirked. "I'll leave it to you then."
Gin vanished with a flash to carry out his orders, and Aizen sighed, taking off his glasses to clean them.
"-How do these things constantly get filthy?" he muttered.
"Most of the filth on glasses is the grease from the skin of the wearer. If they're constantly filthy, it may be that you're just slime." someone spoke up behind him and Aizen yelped, nearly dropping his glasses as he fumbled them onto his face.
"-Good heavens! How DO you do that?" He laughed nervously to suddenly be in close proximity to the massive frame of Yamamoto's pet third seat that he'd just assigned to the Seventh Division. No saftey pins needed to keep the Lieutenant's badge on the tree-trunk arms of Sajin Komamura.
The narrow gap in the helmet stared impassively down at him, and for the second time that morning, Aizen was struck by the feeling he was nearly being seen through.
"I didn't quite catch all that, but I did hear the sound of someone being slapped before I see you, holding your lieutenant like that, and he sprints away with a fresh bruise on his face." Komamura rumbled ominously.
"I'm quite sure I don't know what you mean." Aizen glared back.
"I'm glad to hear that. I should hope that I merely misunderstood what I saw, and that there's no cause for alarm." Komamura leaned forward, and Aizen thought there was the briefest flash of the same yellow as Zaraki's working eye in there. "-There are very few deviances the captain-general won't tolerate, but the lines in the sand do very much exist."
"Sajin-" Aizen scoffed, turning away from the menacing hulk of a shinigami. "You may be Yamamoto's Golden Boy, but you ought to mind what you go sticking your nose into, lest somebody cut it off."
There was no reply.
"Glad you underst- really?" Aizen groaned at the empty corner of the 11th Division. "How the HELL does he do that? It's like being stalked by an animal... Whatever, it's fine- Sajin still has his uses, and he'll forget it by tomorrow morning, won't he?" Aizen smirked, affectionately rubbing Suigetsu's hilt, the Zanpakuto purring at the attention.
"Now, let's go deal with that orange-mangling moron." he smiled as he stalked back into the remains of the 11th's courtyard.

Aizen and his better half
———————————————————————
You and Aizen were one and the same. Aizen was a man of high power. He was someone that everyone respected or feared. He was corrupt as hell but who could prove that? Anyone dare to say anything then he could easily have them thrown in jail for slander. He was the best lawyer in the country for a reason. You on the other hand were a designer, and he loved that. You could sit quietly and analyze people, reading them like it was absolutely nothing. Your mind was something filled with creativity and that was something he needed. You both took the lead in different areas of your relationship, it kept you from butting heads constantly. He was head over heels for you and everyone knew it. You were his everything and he couldn’t live without you.
