The Cannes Film Festival is set to take place from May 16 to May 27, 2023.

Bollywood divas looked stunning in their individual sarees and dresses designed by various fashion designers including Sabyasachi, Rohit Bal, Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, and Neetu Lulla.

The Bollywood star, Aishwarya Rai, is well known for her bold sports looks at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival and this year she certainly made no exception. By opting for a daring dress by Jean-Louis Sabaji, the actor went crazy on the red carpet, but we’re not sure if it was for the right reasons. The gold-yellow metallic piece that Aish used seriously seems to be out of space. While the dress embraced her in all the right places showing her toned hourglass figure, surely she had to have had better options than this one.

The only redeeming factor was that the makeup and hair were beautiful. The beauty of green eyes opted for tones that combined with the outfit: metallic yellow eyeshadow, bold eyeliner, naked lips and a lot of highlighters that made her shine.

Aish’s hair parted to one side, became gelled and straight poker was designed.

This was definitely a safe bet compared to Aish’s previous makeup options. Who can forget that matte purple lipstick from Cannes 2016 that made the former Miss World look discolored? I wish I had opted for a pink and nude lip color with that beautiful Rami Kadi dress!

Then there was the purple “butterfly” dress from last year. Aishwarya really seems to love color but it would be better in a more subtle way.

It’s been 10 days since Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has made her debut on Instagram. The fact she finally decided to break her anti-social media tag in itself is such a big deal. And then when you also see her enjoying this new stint on Instagram by sharing some really cute personal pics only makes it all the more exciting. Take for instance all the pictures of Aaradhya that she shared from Cannes 2018 or the recent ones from her good old school days. Ash is indeed ensuring to let the world know how her world revolves around Aaradhya. However, if you noticed, the actress has refrained from following anyone on Instagram. Turns out Aishwarya is currently busy reworking her whole social media strategy considering how her team messed up her debut by taking 10 hours to share the first post. Speaking of which, Aishwarya now wants to first establish herself on the photo-sharing app and then focus on who to follow and how to take things forward thereafter. Which is why you can only see her engaged in sharing pictures from her personal album because that’s what is her first area of concern. In that case, even Aamir Khan is not following anyone on Instagram, proving how sharing pictures for his fans is his only priority as of now. Guess, Ash has something similar in mind.

Nevertheless, despite not following anyone, Aishwarya has already managed to clock about 2.9 million followers in 10 days. Now that’s a huge milestone achieved at such in such a short span. I mean, I don’t remember who else got so many followers within 10 days. Kudos to Aishwarya for taking it upon herself to better her Instagram profile.
