The Bollywood star, Aishwarya Rai, is well known for her bold sports looks at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival and this year she certainly made no exception. By opting for a daring dress by Jean-Louis Sabaji, the actor went crazy on the red carpet, but we’re not sure if it was for the right reasons. The gold-yellow metallic piece that Aish used seriously seems to be out of space. While the dress embraced her in all the right places showing her toned hourglass figure, surely she had to have had better options than this one.

The only redeeming factor was that the makeup and hair were beautiful. The beauty of green eyes opted for tones that combined with the outfit: metallic yellow eyeshadow, bold eyeliner, naked lips and a lot of highlighters that made her shine.

Aish’s hair parted to one side, became gelled and straight poker was designed.

This was definitely a safe bet compared to Aish’s previous makeup options. Who can forget that matte purple lipstick from Cannes 2016 that made the former Miss World look discolored? I wish I had opted for a pink and nude lip color with that beautiful Rami Kadi dress!

Then there was the purple “butterfly” dress from last year. Aishwarya really seems to love color but it would be better in a more subtle way.
