Midnight overthinking about bodies.

What is the relationship between me and bodies?

I am bisexual. For a few hours, I tried to be straight but women are just too beautiful. Soft. Thin. Underarms. Long hair. I like that we're so the same. I like femme women.

I tried to be lesbian in the next few hours, but guys are just too handsome. When a guy smaller than me walks by, nothing happens. But when a guy with blue eyes and who is taller than me passes by, my ovaries scream. My gut clenches. I like thin guys with torsos like dorito crisps - triangles. I hate long hair or any hair on men. Closer to androgynous is better.

I like my body. I look in the mirror multiple times every day and I often think, "wow I am gorgeous". I like my odd feet, long legs, hands, high cheekbones, full lips, even my eyes that seem bored and droopy but can become lingerie-model. And my nose straighter than I always thought. I am very happy with how I look. From an aestheric perspective I am beautiful, and very photogenic.

But I've got some discomfort that I am trying to put into words. I'm writing to explore that train of thought.

I absolutely hate applying the sexual male gaze to myself. I do it often. I objectify myself. I hack my body in fuckable parts, judge the parts as if it is a butchershop and everything has a price label. I can see how the parts of this body are conventionally attractive. I can feel attractive.

I was reading a comic just now. I will summarize it:

"Jeremy, why is your girlfriend Sara not at the beach with us?"

"She has a body issue?"

"Really? Sara?! You are always looking at her body."

"That is the issue."

And I relate to Sara to a point where I had to stop reading to think this through. I find it hard to put on words. Something about objectification is very off-putting. I dislike taking off my bra for makeout sessions because breasts have such a sexual status. It feels like making a statement. It invites looks, touches. I disliked being looked at in such sexual manner. I don't know yet why. This is what I am trying to figure out while writing this.

Before you ask, I am not asexual. I do have a lower sex drive than all my partners so far and my friends.

The voyeuristic gaze is something I find kinky and fun when I am not in the spotlight. When I am doing it, it is super sexy. When I am 'looking over the shoulder' of a fictional voyeur, I like it.

In the same manner, I like touching my partners. But have trouble accepting/recieving touch. I get too nervous of where the hand is going, which forces me to make a hundred decisions a second. This tires me out quickly, and I dig my heels in the sand and end the interaction. I want more than being a service top to a pillow prince(ss), yes, but I seem unable to overcome this danger/alarm/self-awareness/self-objectification. I halt. I convince my partner that this one-sidedness is enough. But this pattern of one-sided 'giving' repeats. In the end, I don't get enough. I give and give and it wears me out, but I cannot stand the same attention in return. It drains me. In fiction, I like reading about unwanted touch becoming a welcomed touch by the trope of mindbreaks. (The word power bottom comes to mind. In two such situations, I did feel good.)

I wonder how much of this discomfort with my own sex appeal statements are the result of male l-gaze self-objectification and how much is actual shame. I do feel ashamed and shy and put on the spot when a partner looks at my body and suggests returning the loving treatment. I wonder if anyone has similar struggles.

Mas kenal adek sudah cukup lama mungkin dari bulan Juli 2021 mas lupa suka ke adek tepatnya tanggal berapa karena waktu itu mas denial bgt hehehhehehe. Lanjut ke adek jadi pacar mas, waktu itu mas ngira hubungan mas bakal renggang waktu adek udah tau mas dulunya rp siapa tapi ternyata enggak�� adek bilang "yaudah kenapa emang" itu bikin mas makin jatuh cinta dan mulai terbuka soal diri mas karena udah ga takut ketahuan lagi 😅. Perjalanan bersama kita cukup sulit ya sayang? Smpe mas sering bolak balik bilang capek dan adek juga, tapi setelahnya mas menikmati waktu yang ada bersama adek. Awal mulanya dari mas mulai sibuk kerja waktu itu trus gantian adek sibuk skripsi dan mas yang protes minta waktu trus menerus mungkin bikin adek streess juga dan mas ga nyadar. Tapi semua bisa jadi pelajaran hubungan kita selanjutnya.

Adeek mas sekarang sadar apa alasan mas sering nuntut ini itu sama yang lain ternyata mas iri sama hubungan orang lain padahal kalo mas fokus di adek aja mas udah bahagia dan mas mencoba itu, mas ga mikirin orang lain diapain sama pacarnya tapi mas fokus ke adek aja daaan mas happy mas sayang bgt sama adek perkara cimol adek yg kayak brokoli aja mas bahagia bgt, perkara adek cerita harinya kudu mas paksa dan trus baru cerita makan naspad dua kali aja udah bikin mas bahagia bgtt, mas palinh suka adek bawel ke mas cerita banyak ke mas, mas bahagia bgt sama adek mas nyesel waktu itu banyak nuntut nya harusnya fokus aja ke adek only ke adek sayang. I just think they’re also the type to watch anime with her,, because knowing them, they like to watch kdramas so I think it’d be interesting to see them watch anime too since I’m sure they’ll enjoy that a lot. this is more beomgyu than soobin, but this is where I pull the opposites card, beomgyu is incredibly loud lmao, but I don’t see pengy as a loud person, if anything I think she’s a little bit more chill unless it’s fangirling but that’s a different story I have a feeling pengy would be able to chill with beomgyu, it’d be an amusing thing to see heheh

romantic — taehyun! I’ve somewhat mentioned this before but I think tyun and sumi’s compatibility would be really strong,, firstly, taehyun is intelligent, and after speaking to sumi, I have also realised that! like the way they speak and/or the way sumi writes is so nicely articulated and it reminds me of the way taehyun speaks or how he writes his messages on weverse from time to time. also I think it’s the fact that people may be shy to approach them at first but when you get to know them better they’re both the sweetest people in the world, like if happiness was a person? that’s them, they’d make each other happy too, genuinely 🥺

I just see this a lot and I think it’s absolutely the cutest thing. also initially soobin is quite timid at the start, but to me anu didn’t seem too timid but it was easy to talk and approach her,, the same way soobin makes the guests at mubank feel hehe

platonic — beomgyu! this sounds so random, but I feel like their friendship would be a little similar to taegyu’s friendship, solely because anu can handle things in a chaotic-ish situation,, take for example, beomgyu is loud and can be a little chaotic, but anu can stand her ground and just chill like nothing affects her the same way lmao

I just have this issue where I've had alot of these characters since childhood but recently I've discovered that they're all pretty hollow personality-wise? (Honestly I'm super excited to start writing about her more and to share her with the tag!)I am SUPER proud of my revamp of Elle (my fire uni) in recent months. It has helped me learn how to draw more diverse yet simple hair, and I've learned how to draw a horse with ease, which is something I've always struggled with!Novaxie (my alien Aisha) is just a mechanic and isn't combat trained, so as much as I hate to say it I think she'd fall first. Oh gosh... I was actually super proud of myself for finally getting my faerie ixi! I’ve wanted one ever since I first started playing, so finally painting mine felt like the achievement of a lifetime. Right now I’m mostly working towards earning enough neopoints for a wraith paint brush to paint my aisha, or a candy paint brush to paint my kougra.

It’s by one of my friends! I really appreciate the fact that Braid and Hat WASNT used in a beach custom, heheh. and also, i just love the unique layering of the background’s built in foreground with the whole adventure theme. Oh,  and I always appreciate a good custom that uses really cheap ~1-2 items (dat tidal pool trinket yes boo)

I just love the whole black/teal colour scheme, and I feel like Headspaced is my most creative pet. It was hard finding wigs that worked with an invisible pet but once i found this wig I knew it was love at first sight. I’ve always tried to change Headspaced’s custom but I always go back to this one, without fail.

3. My UC dreamie was a UC Grey Kacheek (project page on ~Niareet) and i just recently got a VWN one! next big goal which is near impossible is a uc rg lupe. pray for me

4. I do trade often! More than I should! I love to customize so I’m always seeking pretty new items for my pets, especially my transparent aisha and blum! (btw if ur seeking magical faerie glade bg i have it uft for 8 gbcs lol)
