Leoncelot sounds like it should be the name of a hybrid lion x ocelot and now I think Leon and Lancelot should adopt one.

Omg You are so right and I will find a way to incorporate this into a fic somehow. I imagine an ocelot lion hybrid would be a bit bigger than an ocelot with shaggy fur and ocelot patterning with males having long manes. If anyone with artistic talent wants to draw lion-ocelot hybrid that would be incredibly cool

29PiecesOfMe wrote a magnificent and heartbreaking tag to this episode that explored that an AU Cas without the Winchesters would have still stood up for humanity, but without the Winchesters to prompt him to leave Heaven, he would have been tortured, re-educated, and reprogrammed to the point where Heaven destroyed him. AU Cas wasn't evil by nature, he was a product of an evil regime he never escaped, and that's why our Cas recognized they were the same. (It's said better in her fic.)

I’ll still check it out but I kinda disagree. By aligning AU!Cas with Nazi imagery and making him very different from all the rest of the angels they made him inherently evil. If they wanted to show a character that was a victim they would not have compared him to one of the greatest true evils this world has ever seen. I think that this was a truly evil Cas. Castiel needed to confront an evil version of himself at this point in his story.  I just wish that it was done a little differently so that it didn’t suggest that the only difference was the absence of Sam and Dean in his life.

What is your total word count on AO3?

441,469 words, but a good chunk of that was written by @beingcouy in our co-written fanfics. =)

How often do you write?

It depends on whether I’m inspired for art or writing. On a good writing kick, every day. Typically? 2-3 times per week.

Do you have a routine for writing?

Usually I sit down, put on headphones with music, fire up Scrivener, and review my brainstorm/outline notes for the story I’m planning to work on. Then I pick a scene and roll with it. I have started doing more revision and editing lately for word choices, shortening up sentences, etc. I think my stories are turning out a bit better for it!

What’s your favourite kinks/tropes/pairing?

I love Hurt/Comfort, Angst, Fluff, and Feels -- even if it’s fluffy, it’ll probably still tug on the heartstrings at least a little. I ship all the ships, and sometimes go Gen and ship none at all. Friendship and family fics done well give me warm and fuzzy feelings. ♥ Some favorite ships in no particular order: Mooseley, WinCasWin, Stony, Chrisker, Nivanshake, Sastiel.

Do you have a favourite fic of yours?

I am proud of my co-written fics with @beingcouy , but for a fic I individually wrote, I’ll go with No Time At All. It’s the only fic I’ve written in recent years that almost made me cry both outlining and actually writing it, and I feel like I really stuck to (and pulled off) the plot idea and jump-around scene structure that I had from the start.

Your fic with the most kudos?

Without a doubt, it’s Clawfoot, a Marvel MCU Stony fic centered on Tony Stark and PTSD. As of this post it has 359 Kudos. ♥

Anything you don’t like about your writing?

I tend to be literal in real life, and I’ve noticed my writing lacks metaphor and simile lately. This didn’t used to be the case back when I took poetry classes, and I’m working on improving that. I also write really long, wordy sentences, which I often break up during editing.

Now something you do like!

I feel like I have a good balance between description and dialogue, and that my dialogue in particular is phrased the way the characters would say things.

Hi Anon! I'm not sure if you meant this as a prompt or not, but either way I'm going to direct you over to @aini-nufire's work! Heart and Soul has this exact idea in it I think and it's so sweet, and a bunch of her other fics have Merlin using his magic to warm up Lancelot in other circumstances, including, if my memory serves, The Ice Queen, Hell or High Water, and Knights of the Living Dead. It's one of my very favorite things and I hope you enjoy those fics as much as I did 😊
