Im finally getting around to play Baroque after putting it on my list after seeing you give it high praise, but which version should i go for?

If you’re emulating, go with the Wii remake. Wii emulators are stable and not all sorts of haywire fucked like PS2 emulators are (due to single thread processing).

If you are playing on console, either the PS2 remake or the Wii remake will do, choose based on your preference of console, controller, etc.

The Sega Saturn version is the original version but I recommend the remakes since they are more fun.

HAVE FUN and I hope you enjoy Baroque! There is meaning in you enjoying Baroque.

My lvl 5 Wizard planted a magic bean which created a small pink frog that upon my wizard touching, created a 6 story tall Tarrasque. It then proceed to knock me back, blind me, and made me prone via the explosion of force of this behemoth appearing. I was promptly reduced to a thin red paste in the sand before i could even get a turn. My party managed to revive me, and i spent the next 6 weeks drinking heavily. This wizard also freed a woman from a group of slavers that turned out to be a succubus. Upon me freeing said succubus she tried to charm my wizard, and failed all 6 of her charms. She then flew off saying “Forget this, you are more trouble than you are worth. Ill go get food elsewhere.” Meanwhile i have not even moved during all this, i was standing there like a fucking brick wall ass all this happened. Many sessions later the succubus attacked me during my sleep as my party was camping in the desert. She failed all of her charms.

Holy shit.

I think it’s better if you don’t move, because the one time you did in this story, you freed a semen demon, and that’s not counting the post-rez drinking (that’s a free action).
