A heist with Markiplier:

Note: AHWM doesn't have a lot of lore so I've added key details, some of my theories, and cool things I noticed

(Sorry for anything I misspelled or anything that doesn't make sense )

The player is breaking into a museum with Mark to steal a box; The box has the crystal from in space that allows you to time travel/Shift universes. The contents of the box changes based on what ending you get (That you open the box in) In the Darkiplier ending (Ignorance is Bliss) you get many references to ADWM and ISWM (Pictures, voice lines from different characters, possibly other people's objects)

"Same snake, different skin" shows Dark's character because he thought we were stuck in an endless loop of games with (Actor?) Mark. Dark glitches out when speaking to us normally when showing anger/screaming possibly in pain/agony? (I think Celine is the one glitching out because Damien has control of the majority of Dark)

"So much trouble for something so small" He shows us hints to other endings and locations in the adventure (Warden of the prison certificate/ warden's desk; this is where we normally see him while talking to him) "The truth, Not the lies he's told you," He thinks Mark is lying to us and we are stuck with him.

Dark can change objects around him (when we grab the box at the beginning it glitches out like Dark does, while talking to him the wine that he grabs/drinks changes back and forth from white and red wine)

You find the code by looking at the "." in the "?" each ending has a number or letter. Once you find all the endings and their part to the code you put them in order. The code order is the order of the endings (1-31). The website just leads to the bloopers and bts.

Oh my god I'd love to hear you talk about Markiplier lore. It intrigues me so much but I have no idea where to start - 🌟

OKAY OKAY OH M YGOD. YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW EXCITED I AM TO TALK ABOUT THIS. ALRIGHT.

Right!!! So, there might be some things missing or i might be misremembering but!!!

Where to start - Who killed Markiplier? WKM for short. It has 4 chapters + the bloopers and BTS (you dont need to watch that, but its fun!) In the playlist i linked here are also the two following videos further elaborating on the lore. Wilford Motherloving Warfstache and Damien.

Next up! A date with Markiplier! where you go on a date with mark. and depending on what choices you make, it's either a fun adventure or a disaster. The lore isn't as heavy in this, but you do have crumbs of characters like Dark (Darkiplier)

Another more silly video: Markiplier TV! It's a 10 minute video with probably all of Marks egos. Some of them actually important, some just silly. Like the king of the squirells.

Then we have! A Heist with Markiplier! (AHWM for short) Another interactive adventure where you and Mark rob a museum! This one has 31 endings unlike the date, which had only 10 if i remember correctly. AHWM has more lore bits as well, plus some new egos like the fan favorites Yancy or Illinois!

Another interactive thing is The Warfstache Automated Interview Automaton! It's much shorter but also super fun! And you get more Warfstache, which is always a plus in my book!

And finally! We have In space with markiplier! This one is split up to two parts, however when you get to an ending for the first part, it should give you the option to go straight into part 2! Space has a lot of lore and references to previes projects and characters Mark has. You even get to meet some of them. You also get to meet new characters who are all super fun.

I think I might have figured out a timeline for the Markiplier Cinematic Universe.

ISWM comes first since that’s what kicks off the multiversal paradox, then WKM, WMLW, and DAMIEN happen mostly simultaneously, and the end of DAMIEN coincides with the District Attorney being overtaken by Darkiplier and trapped in the mirror.

ADWM and AHWM are funny because according to AHWM’s 6th and true ending, that comes first, but according to Ending 31 (Ignorance is Bliss) the reverse seems to be true. Darkiplier mentions we’ve probably met over and over but forgot, maybe referencing all the different choice paths of ADWM. Taking ISWM into account, it might mean all the time loops too.

Thanks to the crystal making space-time go funny, it probably doesn’t matter what order they happen.

ISWM happens throughout the entire timeline, thanks to the warp crystal sending the Captain through so many wormholes. They’re going through time, not just different universes.

Timeline-wise, Pre-paradox ISWM happens before but chronologically later, since they’re actually capable of space travel and WKM looks like it’s supposed to be in the 1920s-ish.

Post-paradox ISWM happens in so many times and places it’s hard to pin down.

WAIA is the waia-ld card in that it directly references WKM but takes place completely in a vaccuum.

I personally treat the DA as like...one version of the...person interacting with everything. So each story has a different universe's version of the same person. I just think that's fun and funky. XD So like, my DA, Harlow Grey, goes by Harls. But in like...AHWM, they go by Harry and they were never a DA...or ISWM, it's Captain Ari, and they were never a DA or a thief. :D (which makes the wormholes fun, or Ending 31 really interesting for say...Wilford and Dark and thinking that it's the Harlow they knew...and it's not, and these other Harlows are very confused. Meanwhile, Harls is in the mirror, losing what memory they had of what they looked like...)

But I also ADORE exploring other concepts and possibilities and interactions! Character analysis via fic is fun!

We got ghost! Da but how about eldritch entity! Da? 🤔🤔🤔 I sortof headcannon the da as to be spooky and creepy like dark but more powerful than dark more than they show since they spent the longest in the upside down(?)

The powers or attributes they would have:

Some of them are similar in a way with dark but also different

Like him having the chromatic abberation, instead they would have like whispy smoke like fading (maybe blurry) almost as if you cant see them whole as mostly some parts everywhere are missing and it changes everytime

Also the thing where dark multiplies the screen the da can recreate this but having its own twist and its reflection! Like one of those house of mirrors!! I like to think that there are some barts to be funky ones but some of them are just very spooky. Is it showing the future or what would be the alternative? Who knows! (why is there a rotting corpse do i see??)

Mirrors are definitely their domain! Its dope they can manipulate what they want to show to the people or when the passerby took a quick glance.. yknow just casually make anyone loose their mind >:3

My brain is just cooking up like a very angry ballistic da who have lost to the voices inside the upside down creating havoc and dark just saw them and something snapped in him realizing what he had done and how could they forgotten them. Just like wilford they went mad but in another way >:3

Got to rambling abit i find it pretty cool if the da werent so human-ish and I'm curious about yours! :D

OH HO HO YES I DO LOVE AN UNHINGED DA.

So, my original DA basically did lean a little more eldritch, so I adore seeing more of this! (I wrote...like, 50k words in May and posted it on Ao3)

I'm always so madly in love with these ideas!

I also love all the DA designs that have cracks in them like the mirror as a reflection of that! Or being able to change their appearance to mimic someone, but it's always reflected.

I personally love the same idea of like...Dark's ringing aura but it's the sound of static! (You know when you get to a TV channel that doesn't have anything broadcast to it and it's that hissing sound, and the visual snow? That sound, and the cracks in their skin being that static snow)

I may or may not have also written that mirror so it reflects the DA, Dark, Actor, and Wilford as they were the night of the party, not how they look now.

OH BUT IF THEY WERE LEFT THERE.

IF THEY HAD BEEN LEFT THERE FOR SO LONG.

And Dark's void is just an extension of that place (and yeah I do remember the WKM explanation stream calling it the Upside Down LOL)...

Him going to set a scene for whoever is the Actor's next victim in his stories, to warn them...and instead finding the DA. Broken and dangerous, snarling and unable to hold onto who they were, their form constantly shifting, almost nothing of how they looked before remaining. Violent and giddy about it, because what does it matter in this place they can't escape from? His little monster now a monster.

And it's all his fault.
