Okay so for some reason I can’t get to the post now but this is from @fxrthking that I found while searching for inspo.

The extensive research that has been done on Tutankhamun’s death and conclusions that have been reached match up with this hc SO. WELL.

Tut’s uncle, Ay, is presumed to have been like Kahmunrah—jealous that a young child was to inherit the throne rather than himself. For a very long time it was thought that Ay may have killed Tut because of this, but further research proved more towards the conclusion that Tut was injured in a chariot accident, and later died of infection from said injuries. It has not been mentioned by Egyptologists (that I know of) if Ay was involved in the incident, but I am so fascinated by the idea posted above. It still includes the suspicion of Kahmunrah being involved in the situation, but still relates to the real history of who our beautiful pharaoh was based on.

The history geek in me is applauding this so hard.

Ahkmenrah is autistic because I’m autistic and I said so. Here’s some HCs:

The others started to notice symptoms after he was finally let free from the sarcophagus. At first they weren’t sure if it was just trauma from being trapped or autism. Came to the conclusion it was both

Had no idea what that even meant because he’s literally ancient. Larry had to explain it in detail

Everything made sense after that

Refuses any food that isn’t relatively soft because it ‘feels yucky in my mouth’

All those dangly gems he wears are perfect stim toys

Likes the weight of his crown and cloak, feels wrong without them on

Discovered documentaries and instantly had a new special interest. He’s ALWAYS watching some random documentary that’s available in the gift shop.

Can’t stand still, always rocking or tapping feet.

Pants? Sensory nightmare. Skirts or robes only

Get them tight ass mummy wraps OFF- sensory ICK.

Bouncy happy stim

Quickly learnt to not fiddle with the tablets tiles as a stim toy because it causes magic mischief.

Loud noise yucky, keeps his exhibit nice and quiet so he can retreat into it when the museum gets too loud.

Shaky hands stim

Touches a gross texture by accident and gets intense spine shivers followed by disgusted Egyptian rambling akin to “ew ew stop no gross”

Hyper focus one moment, complete lack of interest the next

Parallel play, but like in an adult way. Doesn’t need to talk or interact with people but just being in the same room and doing the same thing is enough to be considered socialising for him.

Over compensates for lack of eye contact by going ‘oh right I have to look interested’ and just ends up staring for too long by accident

Can just spend hours watching his cloak and robes be all flowy when he spins around. Makes him giggle all happy because ooo sensory seeking

If he bumps into something he has to do it again on the other side because sensory symmetry

* but that doesnt mean youre only interested in punk concerts and raves

* actually, when you learned your friend nick’s dad worked at the national museum you were psyched

* nicky is horrible at keeping secrets so you’re prepared for everything coming to life your first night going there

* at first you’re greeted by the huns which, in all honesty, was pretty terrifying

* but they took to your style very well

* the cavemen go fucking bonkers for your pocket knife and lighter

* meeting the president is awkward because, as someone interested in history, you’re very aware of all the bad shit he’s done, and generally you’re vocally anarchist

* what’s really interesting though is meeting a king - something you should definitely be against, he’s an all-powerful monarch - and he’s. almost silent

* its really weird cause you see this guy reflecting all the light in the room like a disco ball, with pure gold jewelry all over his body, and he says like two words to you and then leaves

* “That’s weird,” Nicky says when he’s gone

* egyptian history is some of your favorite, so you’re obviously disappointed in the whole experience and kinda bummed

* you come back on weekend nights that you’re not working

* usually that just means playing soccer with them and yelling a lot, which you’re all for

* sometimes you’ll feel eyes on your neck, and when you look up at the balcony, you can see the tail end of a golden cape

* one night you decide to follow him because at this point it’s getting a little annoying. he barely ever talks to you yet spends most of his time watching you

* you get terrified that the museum’s gonna arrest you or something for ‘stealing’

* the next time you see ahk you tell him that in a rush

* he, being the little gremlin he is, just laughs

* youre still in a fluster trying to give his bracelets back but he just laughs and goes

* “keep them. they look better on you.”

* “but.... theyre yours??”

* as it turns out he fucking loves the spikes on your own bracelet so half of that was just ahk wanting to keep YOUR wristband

* when he sits or stands near you, he fidgets with the spikes on his wrist and the spikes on your shoulder from your leather jacket

* it does make it a little hard for him to lean against you, which he does like to do with his friends

* but in the end you both decide he can put his head in your lap. you play with his hair and he practically moans and keens from the stimulation

* he may be friendly with others but its only in your company that he feels safe enough to sleep

* and youre happy to act as a pillow, even if your clothes aren’t made for such things

Ahk wouldn’t be into too much PDA.

Mainly because that’s just how things were back then.

Maybe a quick peck on the cheek or lips.

But he always, always had his arm wrapped around you anytime he could.

He loved being able to feel the warmth of you; it always brought a smile to his face.

One of his favorite signs of PDA was to have his hand placed on the small of your back.

He’d gently move his finger tips up and down your spine or just rest his hand there.

It was an added bonus that he knew just how much you loved it as well.

Their Reaction to You Not Having a Sense of Smell

Freddie

He found out when you come to visit him on tour, and you went into their changing room and it smell like sweat. “Hello darling. You must forgive me. This whole room is fill of sweat.” Freddie said once he saw you walking into the room. “It’s actually fine Freddie. I don’t have a sense of smell. So, I’m good.” You reply looking a shocked Freddie. “What?” Freddie yell in shocked. Making the other boys turn to look at you guys. “What happen?” Brian asked. Freddie took you to where the boys were. “Y/N doesn’t have a sense of smell.” Freddie told the guys that given the same reaction as Freddie. Making you laugh at their reaction.

Snafu

He found out when he burns something while you were taking a shower. So, when you walked into out of the restroom. You saw Merriell waving a paper around and having all the windows up. “What happen?” you asked looking around. “Can’t you smell it?” Merriell asked stopping what he was. “Babe I don’t have a sense of smell.” You reply. ” Wait what” he walked over to you. “You didn’t know.” You said getting water. “Yes! I can fart around you and you can’t complain about the smell.” He joked, picking you up and spinning you around. “Just because I can’t smell doesn’t mean it isn’t gross.” You reply walking, giggle after he put you back on your feet.

Y/N is here dude.” Josh yelled holding his nose. Chris started to blush. You were confused looking between them. His silent farts are deadly.” Josh informed. “Josh, Y/N doesn’t smell.” Chris said shyly still red. Josh looked at you in shocked. “You don’t smell.” Josh asked. You nod. “You don’t smell pizza or any food.” Josh yelled in shocked. “I’m going to get you smell. I’m going to pay for you to smell.” Josh said going to his computer and started to do research.

Someone brought food.” Ahkmenrah asked dragging Y/N to where the food was coming from. Once they found Nick and Larry in the break room with food Ahkmenrah spoke “Y/N and I could smell from the hallway” you giggle at him. “Actually he did. I don’t have a sense of smell.” You replies walking to sit down on the one of couch. Ahkmenrah jaw drop. “Are you serious?” He asked making you nod. “Smell this love” Ahkmenrah walk over making you sniff the food. Once you did. You shook your head. “Nothing” making everyone in the room surprise.

Ehh sort of… I know more about what it can do, but I still do not fully understand it’s capabilities. I am not even sure my parents know it’s full capabilities, as it is godly. However, I do know that it holds most all the powers of Khonsu, such as reviving the dead. I suppose it will just take time to learn it even more.

Imagine if Ahkmenrah just randomly turned into a cat.

Honestly though this is the perfect headcannon. Ahk is already pretty cat like, and tbh I think he would own the role very well. 

The best part is, Ahk would totally do it to himself. 

It’s on accident of course, but one day when he was messing around with the tablet and trying to find out what exactly it could do with it’s magic, he somehow turned himself into a cat. 

It’s problematic on a number of levels, mainly because he has no idea how to undo the spell (though he suspects that like with most magi he simply most wait for the effects to wear off). Honestly Ahk doesn’t mind it too much, after all cats were worshiped in Egypts and he’s quite fond of them, and he always has been curious as to what it was like to be a different species, though again he was fairly cat like so it’s not so much of a difference. If it anything the month or so he spends as a cat helps him become infinitely sneakier, teaches him to move in absolute silence and he also becomes even more flexible. 

The thing is, as long as Ahk is a cat, he stays alive during the day. Meaning Larry has to take him home and keep him entertained, as well as explain to Erica why he suddenly has a cat (He tells her Ahk is a foster cat, but she doesn’t seem to believe him). 

Ahk would also be such a piece of shit as a cat. Like if Larry did or said something Ahk didn’t approve of, he would just like casually knock things over, he was constatnly fixing Larry with the world’s judgiest stare, he would hide in high places in Larry’s apartment and never came when he was called, would come out of no where and demand attention whenever Larry was busiest. Sometimes Larry would geuinely forget that the cat was really Ahkmenrah because he acted essentially like a normal cat (only smarter. Much, much smarter). 

It’s almost a month before the magic finally wears off, and though  Ahk enjoyed his time he is happy to be back to himself, Larry is just relieved he’s free from day time duty as well as night duty, and slowly things go back to normal although Ahk does have a few new skills he uses to cause the night guard ever the more grief (Ahk know’s Larry’s limit and he never pushes it too far, but he does enjoy causing a little trouble here and there). 

Ahk keeps trying to figure out how he turned himself into a cat afterwards, and though it takes months, some research, and a few trial and errors, he does finally figure out a way to change himself to and from a cat using the tablet. (The first time he changes he’s scares the crap out of Larry, who panics thinking he’ll have to spend another month with cat Ahk. He loved the pharaoh and all, but he could not make it another month with a cat. Or a pet of any kind really. He can hardly take care of himself and Nicky)
