i was discussing things with my sister and i definitely think that snatcher made the potions in his lab by grinding up the mushrooms around his forest and mixing them with the swamp water with a few other things. it's also why they dye him because the mushrooms when crushed create a strong and sticky paste that dyes stuff when you put it on things. also why my ahit oc and my sister's ahit oc have vibrant bright neon hair colors because the experimental potions of other colors spilled on them. and green, cyan and pink can make lots of colors if mixed. the other potions have different effects

GodDAMN here we go. Sober as fuck and it hurts like fire. I don't need it anymore. I just want it to cut through the bullshit. Because drugs are a part of who I am, and I'm okay with that. They make me happy and a better person, and that's something that is real.

Got this stupid brain more or less figured out. I'm actually really, deeply insane for those that arent ready to understand. But that's okay. I've seen the truth, and now I'm free. It still hurts though. We shattered into soul pieces for a reason. Getting the answers to why and how we exist, and where we're gonna go in this life, won't make you happy. It means all of you has to face the whole story at once. And if you're like this, it's probably some real ahit every single time, and it's rarely just one thing. Putting yourself together again won't make you happy. You have to build that into your own life if you can, or trust your comrades to help you when you're down. What i recieved was cold truth, because you and i both know thats the only way this universe can speak truth to us. All you need to know is that the answer was love. But it's okay. We're inevidable. There no getting off this ride even in death. But the next one will be better. We go forward. It's okay. Trust the process.

And to anyone else who exists as a system (is that the correct term, im atill new to this), or feels the call of otherkin a little too strongly to be normal. Our souls cracked open from repeated trauma and let the magic of other worlds into us as a consequence. We're a conduit for magic in a universe where magic doesn't exist, only the laws of science. Your trauma makes you something lIke a dead wizard of a dead universe, your body a revolving door to every version of you that existed or will ever exist in any universe. But anything that comes through will still be limited by your body and the laws of science. You can't overcome those. Magic isn't a thing here. It only grows from mushrooms, but they can't change anything but you because it's a drug that can and will permanently alter your soul at a high enough dosage.

I'm sorry the answer is stupid. But what else could it ever be in a place like this? Look at us. Look at this world. This place sucks. We have to be our own gods. We're all that left. We have to make the good stories ourselves. But you don't have to break the system like I did. We're all still here, but we all must face it together now. Don't hurt yourself picking at that wall unless you need a drastic change to fend off the Rot. I wouldn't wish this pain upon you. I love you, all of you. It's all still you, baby! Let's be insane together, and fix this broken ass world as best we can before we die and go to the next big thing.

I remember in like 2021 being like "man he looks like the tree from subcon"

Then diving deeper into him as a character in late 2022 and like "HE IS THE TREE??"

But yeah i may have hyperfixated on aspen for like a month straight (i drew him like 5 times in 2022...)

(I just remembered i drew him like 2x in 2021 bc i faintly remember drawing him on a board in a class room like... With either markers or the touchscreen projector thingy during a lunch period but man they did NOT have the right colors...)

I hopped on this train at the tail end of your Hell's Studio thing, and never went away after. I watched you with Hollow Knight, with AHIT, and I can honestly say I never regretted it. Your art is so wonderfully lively, and it let me experience some of the most beautiful and fun games I ever played. So, thank you, Mak. Looking at my dashboard every morning and seeing something from either your art blog or your other blog, it's always nice. I wish you the best, and hope you find some neat looking mushrooms that inspire mushroom people.

Or well, no, this was still Subcon Forest, just...a different one. Gulping down her fear, the half-ghostly girl wandered around, trying to see if she could find anyone.

The subcon forest of this place really do completely different to those who have live the subcon forest for quiet a while to their whole live. For one the place have those dark theme twirly vines that have flowers attached to them, clinging to the purple thorn vines.

Alongside of a sign that look old even to the point the sign is about to fall yet it haven't so far. There seem to be two hooded figure, even though they're a bit similar to the hooded figure to those who are from their own subcon forest...

Some would tell there is a huge difference comparing with the regular snatcher minions with these two. For one the other is taller than most minions including the shorter one, both have different pallete as one is dark theme as the other is lighter, one look like they're based on the inky mushroom. The other have a lot of morning glory flowers on top of their head. Yet both seems to have long sleeves that cover their hands entirely.

They seem to be talking with each other and don't seem to notice at misty at first, perhaps distracted by their conversation.
