Anak The King
Anak is a figure in the Hebrew Bible who is said to be the forefather of a race of giants known as the Anakim. His name means “giant, long neck, necklace” in Hebrew, and he is described as a son of Arba, the founder of Hebron (Joshua 15:13). But who exactly was Anak, and what do we know about his descendants?
The first mention of Anak and his sons, Sheshai, Ahiman, and Talmai, is in Numbers 13 when Moses sends twelve spies to scout out the land of Canaan. The spies report that the land is flowing with milk and honey but is also inhabited by influential people, some of whom are descended from the Nephilim, a mysterious group of beings that are often translated as “pants” or “Allen ones” (Genesis 6:1-4). The spies say that they felt like grasshoppers in comparison to the sons of Anak, who were very tall and robust (Numbers 13:33).

A Genealogy of the Returned Exiles
1 So all Israel were reckoned by genealogies; and, behold, they were written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah, who were carried away to Babylon for their transgression.
2 Now the first inhabitants that dwelt in their possessions in their cities were, the Israelites, the priests, Levites, and the Nethinims.
3 And in Jerusalem dwelt of the children of Judah, and of the children of Benjamin, and of the children of Ephraim, and Manasseh;
4 Uthai the son of Ammihud, the son of Omri, the son of Imri, the son of Bani, of the children of Pharez the son of Judah.
5 And of the Shilonites; Asaiah the firstborn, and his sons.
6 And of the sons of Zerah; Jeuel, and their brethren, six hundred and ninety.
7 And of the sons of Benjamin; Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Hodaviah, the son of Hasenuah,

20 And Phinehas the son of Eleazar was the ruler over them in time past, and the Lord was with him.
21 And Zechariah the son of Meshelemiah was porter of the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
22 All these which were chosen to be porters in the gates were two hundred and twelve. These were reckoned by their genealogy in their villages, whom David and Samuel the seer did ordain in their set office.
23 So they and their children had the oversight of the gates of the house of the Lord, namely, the house of the tabernacle, by wards.
24 In four quarters were the porters, toward the east, west, north, and south.
25 And their brethren, which were in their villages, were to come after seven days from time to time with them.
26 For these Levites, the four chief porters, were in their set office, and were over the chambers and treasuries of the house of God.
27 And they lodged round about the house of God, because the charge was upon them, and the opening thereof every morning pertained to them.
28 And certain of them had the charge of the ministering vessels, that they should bring them in and out by tale.
29 Some of them also were appointed to oversee the vessels, and all the instruments of the sanctuary, and the fine flour, and the wine, and the oil, and the frankincense, and the spices.
30 And some of the sons of the priests made the ointment of the spices.
31 And Mattithiah, one of the Levites, who was the firstborn of Shallum the Korahite, had the set office over the things that were made in the pans.
32 And other of their brethren, of the sons of the Kohathites, were over the shewbread, to prepare it every sabbath.
33 And these are the singers, chief of the fathers of the Levites, who remaining in the chambers were free: for they were employed in that work day and night.
34 These chief fathers of the Levites were chief throughout their generations; these dwelt at Jerusalem.
35 And in Gibeon dwelt the father of Gibeon, Jehiel, whose wife's name was Maachah:
36 And his firstborn son Abdon, then Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Ner, and Nadab.

9/19/2024: I am back. Forget about wasting tax dollars in my welfare disability's health insurance seeing a psychiatrist. Sure I have some flaws as. Ahiman but I can live with it while being peaceful with others even if I will have to relinquish my genocide-gay-Spanish-as-2nd-language American citizenship soon. I'll challenge psychiatry as the female Buddha as soon as I get a well paying job with healthy insurance to see a psychiatrist. In the meantime, I'll try to get work using the free techniques amd not waste $1,000 seeing a psychiatrist to submit my master's thesis in philosophy. I won't use my disability checks to advertise my work either. I'll stick to free stuff like the internet, social Media, dropping off flyers, etc. for I am lucky to live in America to offer these fre services so I will another abuse the system by spending tax dollars to see a psychiatrist to advertise my work. 1 Chronicle 9: The Genealogies Of The Kings Of Israel And Judah
1 All Israel was listed in the genealogies recorded in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah. They were taken captive to Babylon because of their unfaithfulness.
The People in Jerusalem
2 Now the first to resettle on their own property in their own towns were some Israelites, priests, Levites and temple servants.
3 Those from Judah, from Benjamin, and from Ephraim and Manasseh who lived in Jerusalem were:
4 Uthai son of Ammihud, the son of Omri, the son of Imri, the son of Bani, a descendant of Perez son of Judah.
5 Of the Shelanites:
Asaiah the firstborn and his sons.
6 Of the Zerahites:
Jeuel.
The people from Judah numbered 690.
7 Of the Benjamites:
Sallu son of Meshullam, the son of Hodaviah, the son of Hassenuah;
8 Ibneiah son of Jeroham; Elah son of Uzzi, the son of Mikri; and Meshullam son of Shephatiah, the son of Reuel, the son of Ibnijah.
9 The people from Benjamin, as listed in their genealogy, numbered 956. All these men were heads of their families.
10 Of the priests:
Jedaiah; Jehoiarib; Jakin;
11 Azariah son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, the official in charge of the house of God;
12 Adaiah son of Jeroham, the son of Pashhur, the son of Malkijah; and Maasai son of Adiel, the son of Jahzerah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Meshillemith, the son of Immer.
13 The priests, who were heads of families, numbered 1,760. They were able men, responsible for ministering in the house of God.
14 Of the Levites:
Shemaiah son of Hasshub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, a Merarite;
15 Bakbakkar, Heresh, Galal and Mattaniah son of Mika, the son of Zikri, the son of Asaph;
16 Obadiah son of Shemaiah, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun; and Berekiah son of Asa, the son of Elkanah, who lived in the villages of the Netophathites.
17 The gatekeepers:
Shallum, Akkub, Talmon, Ahiman and their fellow Levites, Shallum their chief
18 being stationed at the King’s Gate on the east, up to the present time. These were the gatekeepers belonging to the camp of the Levites.
19 Shallum son of Kore, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah, and his fellow gatekeepers from his family (the Korahites) were responsible for guarding the thresholds of the tent just as their ancestors had been responsible for guarding the entrance to the dwelling of the Lord.
20 In earlier times Phinehas son of Eleazar was the official in charge of the gatekeepers, and the Lord was with him.
21 Zechariah son of Meshelemiah was the gatekeeper at the entrance to the tent of meeting.
22 Altogether, those chosen to be gatekeepers at the thresholds numbered 212. They were registered by genealogy in their villages. The gatekeepers had been assigned to their positions of trust by David and Samuel the seer.
23 They and their descendants were in charge of guarding the gates of the house of the Lord—the house called the tent of meeting.
24 The gatekeepers were on the four sides: east, west, north and south.
25 Their fellow Levites in their villages had to come from time to time and share their duties for seven-day periods.
26 But the four principal gatekeepers, who were Levites, were entrusted with the responsibility for the rooms and treasuries in the house of God.
27 They would spend the night stationed around the house of God, because they had to guard it; and they had charge of the key for opening it each morning.
28 Some of them were in charge of the articles used in the temple service; they counted them when they were brought in and when they were taken out.
29 Others were assigned to take care of the furnishings and all the other articles of the sanctuary, as well as the special flour and wine, and the olive oil, incense and spices.
30 But some of the priests took care of mixing the spices.
31 A Levite named Mattithiah, the firstborn son of Shallum the Korahite, was entrusted with the responsibility for baking the offering bread.
32 Some of the Kohathites, their fellow Levites, were in charge of preparing for every Sabbath the bread set out on the table.
33 Those who were musicians, heads of Levite families, stayed in the rooms of the temple and were exempt from other duties because they were responsible for the work day and night.
34 All these were heads of Levite families, chiefs as listed in their genealogy, and they lived in Jerusalem.
The Genealogy of Saul
35 Jeiel the father of Gibeon lived in Gibeon.
His wife’s name was Maakah,
36 and his firstborn son was Abdon, followed by Zur, Kish, Baal, Ner, Nadab,
37 Gedor, Ahio, Zechariah and Mikloth.
38 Mikloth was the father of Shimeam. They too lived near their relatives in Jerusalem.
39 Ner was the father of Kish, Kish the father of Saul, and Saul the father of Jonathan, Malki-Shua, Abinadab and Esh-Baal.
40 The son of Jonathan:
Merib-Baal, who was the father of Micah.
41 The sons of Micah:
Pithon, Melek, Tahrea and Ahaz.
42 Ahaz was the father of Jadah, Jadah was the father of Alemeth, Azmaveth and Zimri, and Zimri was the father of Moza.
43 Moza was the father of Binea; Rephaiah was his son, Eleasah his son and Azel his son.
44 Azel had six sons, and these were their names:
Azrikam, Bokeru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah and Hanan. These were the sons of Azel.

Judges 1: 9-11. "The Curves."
Adoni-Bezer, Mister Lightning Bolt, a Jew living in Jerusalem has to recover the fingers and toes of the 70 Clans of Israel and remake the Kingdom after the Perrizites, "the Wild Things", and the Canaanites, "the Zealots" take over.
The first real campaign after Jerusalem is in the Negev, "parched, rolling". Negev is a curious term, it implies learning takes place along convex curves the kind that resemble a perky pair of male ass buttocks, and also the kind along which the mind follows "on the way to the summit":
9 After that, Judah went down to fight against the Canaanites living in the hill country, the Negev and the western foothills.
10 They advanced against the Canaanites living in Hebron (formerly called Kiriath Arba) and defeated Sheshai, Ahiman and Talmai.
11 From there they advanced against the people living in Debir (formerly called Kiriath Sepher).
Let's define the Hebrew words first:
Negev= The verb גבב (gabab) doesn't occur in the Bible but it appears to have meant to be concave or convex; to be bulbous or hollow. Noun גב (gab) denotes anything that is bulbous (hills, buttocks).
The verb גוב (gub) means to dig. Noun גב (geb) means pit or ditch. This verb appears to be associated with the verb יגב (yagab), meaning to till (what a farmer does). Noun יגב (yaqeb) probably refers to the field where the farmer tills.
Noun גבא (gebe') appears to describe a hollow in which water collects and is commonly translated with cistern, pool or marsh.
Verb גבה (gaba) means to collect. Nouns גב (geb), גוב (gob), גבי (gobay) and גובי (gobay) refer to locusts. Possibly a whole other verb גבה (gabah) means to be high, exalted or lofty, although this verb could actually describe a person who collected a heap, or who plunders a society like a swarm of locusts.
In the Talmud the word for tax collector was derived from this verb. Adjective גבה (gaboah) means high or haughty. Noun גבה (gobah) means height or haughtiness. And noun גבהות (gabhut) means haughtiness.
Verb גבע (gabay) appears to mean the same as גבב (gabab), to be concave or convex. The very common noun גבעה (gib'a) means hill.
Hebron=
The verb חבר (habar) means to bind, join or team up. Nouns חבר (heber) and חברה (hebra) mean company or association. Adjective or noun חבר (haber) means united or associate. Noun חבר (habbar), meaning business associate.
Noun חברת (haberet) literally means that what is joined (curtains, one's wife). Noun מחברת (mahberet) means a thing joined or place of joining. Noun מחברה (mehabbera) describes a binder or clamp.
Nouns חבורה (habbura), חברה (habbura or habra) and חברברה (habarbura) mean stripe or mark. How these words express binding isn't immediately clear, but perhaps the most ancient symbols arose from people claiming items and locations for themselves or their tribes.
Kiriath Arba=
Root קרר (qarar) means to cool off in a thermodynamic sense: to go from hot gas to cool liquid to a cold solid. Socially this would describe warring tribes "cooling off" into culturally compatible peoples and liquid trading networks and ultimately the formation of cities and solid nations. Intellectually, diverse viewpoints might congeal into local conventions and ultimately a global standard.
Adjective קר (qar) means cool. Nouns קר (qor) and קרה (qara) mean cold. Noun מקרה (meqera), meaning coolness.
Noun קיר (qir) is one of a few words for wall. It might relate to the root because bricks are congealed mud, and a wall is bricks pieced together (non-standard bricks take some puzzling and pounding). The noun קרקע (qarqa') means floor; earth trampled into a compact state. The verb קרקר (qarqar) means to forcibly compact, to pound down.
Verb קרה (qara), and its by-form קרא (qara'), mean to near, to meet or to happen upon. Noun קורה (qora) describes a rafter or beam; the things that come together to form a roof, and which obviously relate to bricks pieced into a wall. Verb קרה (qara) means to piece beams together and noun מקרה (meqareh) means literally place of beams; beam-work.
Nouns קרה (qareh) and מקרה (miqreh) mean chance or accident, fortune or fate. Noun קרי (qeri) means opposition, contrariness. At a social level, chance meetings and opposition are the very rafters that carry society's roof.
For this same reason, the nouns קריה (qiryah) and קרת (qeret) are the words for city and federation of cities.
Verb קרא (qara'), which is identical to the by-form of the previous, means to call or call near. Adjective קריא (qari') means called or summoned. Noun קריאה (qeri'a) means proclamation. And noun מקרא (miqra') means convocation or called assembly. The noun קרא (qore') describes a partridge; literally "a caller."
The word רבע (raba') means four, which is where the typically human complex number sense begins. Verb רבע (raba') means to square. Nouns רבע (reba') and רבע (roba') mean a fourth part. Adjectives רביעי (rebi'i) and רביעית (rebi'it) mean fourth, and adjective רבע (ribbea') means "pertaining to the fourth."
The identical verb רבע (raba') is a variant of the verb רבץ (rabas; see next). It means to stretch out or lie down (mostly in a sexual sense).
Verb רבץ (rabas) means to stretch out or lie down (mostly not in a sexual sense). Nouns רבץ (rebes) and מרבץ (marbes) mean resting place.
Hebron is therefore a place where a federation of cities has been compacted into one Assembly of Mankind that has gathered for the purposes of creating a superior standard of living.
The implications of the butt also being a kind of cistern nothwithstanding the various terms, altogether imply physical, intellectual, and communal fitness are hooked together with the process of creating the Compound City.
In Hebron, the Israelites encounter:

The noun אח ('ah) means brother, or more broadly: a fellow member of a social economic node (a "house") within a broader economic whole.
This word's lavish inclusion in names strongly suggests that the deity was reckoned by this word — in modern times we mostly speak of Our Father in Heaven but in antiquity the deity appears to have also been addressed as Our Brother. The New Testament appears to entertain that dynamic in the tenet that the Word is God's Son, and all who have the Word are godly brothers. Also note the similarity with the verb חוה (hawa), to show, tell, make known.
The noun אחוה ('ahawa) means brotherhood and אחות ('ahot) means sister.
and Talmai= the plowman
The noun תלם (telem) means furrow and is assumed to derive from a verb תלם (talam), to plow or till the soil.
The people living in Debir (formerly called Kiriath Sepher)=
The rare noun דבר (dober), refers to a pasture; probably a well-defined fenced-in field upon which sheep graze. Figuratively this word obviously refers to some specific Holy Book from which a community feeds (the books of the Bible originated as separate works, with their separate adherers).
Noun דברה (dibra) means matter or issue, and the similar noun דבורה (deborah) describes the bee (this probably because bees make honey, and "milk and honey" denote essential sustenance). The noun דביר (debir) was a nickname for the Holy of Holies and means "place of the word".
Kiriath Sepher= Record City, Scribe Town
In order for our Compound City to work as stated above, there must be purity of intent, gladness, a willingness to dig into fertile ground of mankind (and some of us are not all that fertile), and sow the spiritual assets for which persons who are "wild" like Hamas or Hezbollah, or "too zealous" like the Evangelicals have no acumen.
The Kingdom of Israel is supposed to be a place of moderation but for a few things about which it must be very strict and we all know what these things are. The rest- the superstition, the guns, violence, hatred, aggression, the nonsense, these things should not exist anywhere humanity has been around a long time, we surely know better by now how to contend with reality appropriately.
The Values in Gematria are:
v. 9: Judah fought the Canaanites in the Western Foothills. Behind the Western Wall is the decision not to be just smart but to be enlightened. Enlightened persons do not follow strange rules, they follow an ever more elaborate pattern of learning and develop a continually improving artistic assessment of the wares of life. The Summit is always Sinai, but the foothills leading up to it are never rules based, they are experiential.
The Value in Gematria is 8662, בחוו "experienced in the farm."
The "farm" includes bulls (who act like three year olds), rams (who act like sixteen year olds), goats (who are tame but not particularly smart) and doves (who are men that act like saints but are not particularly happy). Bulls, rams, and goats go up the side of the mountain, doves come down to earth.
v. 10: They advanced against the Canaanites. The Value in Gematria is 4647, דודז, dodz, "then double the understanding."
Truth is told, it is also performed and then witnessed. Everything contained in Judaism and its partner, Vedanta, and its offspring, Christianity and Islam must be experienced twice. Once as a discussion of what is factual about the Supreme Being and His Will to Power, the other explains how we are to contend with these in real life.
The first discussions of this non-dual way of practicing religion took place in the myth Inanna in the Underworld circa 3000 BCE in which the Great God Ea, or Yah is mentioned for the first time. Try as we might, without balance in all of our relationships and approaches to life, all we are doing is placating time until the moment of our deaths and that is not good enough.
v. 11: From there, they advanced against the people living in Debir, in the Library. The Value in Gematria is 4319, דגאט , dagat, "what makes you worried."

The verb אתה ('ata) is spelled the same as, and according to the Masoretes, pronounced slightly different from the masculine second person singular.
Were we to stubbornly maintain that the two are connected, this verb would literally mean "to you". In reality it's commonly translated with to come; it's a rate poetic equivalent of the much more common verb בוא (bo'). But still, in order to express a coming, one would first require an awareness of you and me, so this verb is still not far removed from the above.
Our verb occurs about twenty times in the Old Testament, half of which in the Book of Isaiah. It describes bringing water to the thirsty (Isaiah 21:14), the coming of the morning (Isaiah 21:12), the getting together of humanity (Isaiah 41:5), the coming of the future in general (Isaiah 41:23), or a specific person and his policies (Isaiah 41:25), or wild beasts on the prowl (Isaiah 56:9). Scary things may come (Job 3:25), or years (Job 16:22), or the brood of fools (Job 30:14), or the golden splendor around God (Job 37:22). It may describe the coming of God (Deuteronomy 33:2) or a coming to God (Jeremiah 3:22).
What worries us is the most is the fear we cannot handle living together or do it for very long. Human beings are both madly in love and scared shitless of each other.
The answer to what worries us is found in the compiled work of humanity's scribes, the spiritual sorts and also of all sorts. If we follow the Decrees and become as learned as possible, all that troubles our compound lives will cease to exist.
Even as we wait for the world to accept this easy and comfortable solution to all of its troubles, one unfortunate fact lingers, we are going to have to kill a large number of corrupt politicians and religious folks are nothing is ever going to get better.

"The people who live there are powerful, and the cities are fortified and very large. We even saw descendants of Anak there." - Numbers 13:28 (NIV)
"'When the spies Moses sent to the land of Canaan returned and gave their report, they had both good and bad news. They reported that the land truly flowed with milk and honey, and they brought fruit back with them. However, they also reported that the people living there were powerful, the cities were fortified and very large, and they saw descendants of Anak there. The descendants of Anak were giants. They are described in Deuteronomy 9:2: “These people are large and tall — they are the Anakim. You know and have heard what people say: ‘Who can stand up to the Anakim?’” (CEB).
Today we face our own giants. Although they look different from those described in Canaan, they instill fear in our lives. These fears can cause us to freeze up and stop trying to achieve our goals. But as giants appear in our lives, seemingly blocking the path toward our goals, we should not fear them. God is with us every step of the way and will fulfill every promise God has made to us."' Many things face us and give us pause, but we do not have to pass it off. Our giants are as real as anyone's. God promises to fulfill everything that is void in our lives.

"'17 When Moses sent them out to explore the land of Canaan, he said to them, “Go up there into the arid southern plain and into the mountains. 18 You must inspect the land. What is it like? Are the people who live in it strong or weak, few or many? 19 Is the land in which they live good or bad? Are the towns in which they live camps or fortresses? 20 Is the land rich or poor? Are there trees in it or not? Be courageous and bring back the land’s fruit.” It was the season of the first ripe grapes. 21 They went up and explored the land from the Zin desert to Rehob, near Lebo-hamath. 22 They went up into the arid southern plain and entered Hebron, where Ahiman, Sheshai, and Talmai, the descendants of the Anakites, lived. (Hebron was built seven years before Tanis in Egypt.) 23 Then they entered the Cluster ravine, cut down from there a branch with one cluster of grapes, and carried it on a pole between them. They also took pomegranates and figs. 24 That place was called the Cluster ravine because of the cluster of grapes that the Israelites cut down from there. 25 They returned from exploring the land after forty days. 26 They went directly to Moses, Aaron, and the entire Israelite community in the Paran desert at Kadesh. They brought back a report to them and to the entire community and showed them the land’s fruit. 27 Then they gave their report: “We entered the land to which you sent us. It’s actually full of milk and honey, and this is its fruit. 28 There are, however, powerful people who live in the land. The cities have huge fortifications. And we even saw the descendants of the Anakites there. 29 The Amalekites live in the land of the arid southern plain; the Hittites, Jebusites, and Amorites live in the mountains; and the Canaanites live by the sea and along the Jordan.”' They found all the plenty in the land where they were sent and they brought back a report that it was all true. Anak
Anak, fils ou descendant d'Arba1, est un personnage biblique, décrit comme appartenant à une race de géants, et apparaissant principalement dans la Torah (le Pentateuque), à l'occasion de l'exploration du pays de Canaan, mais également dans les livres des Prophètes, lors de la conquête du pays par les Hébreux. Ses descendants sont connus sous le nom d'« Anakim » ou « Anakites », qui étaient « grands et forts ». Selon le Livre des Nombres et le Livre de Josué, Anak a trois fils : Schéschaï, Ahiman et Talmaï2.
Anak est mentionné plusieurs fois dans la Bible hébraïque : dans le Livre des Nombres, dans le Deutéronome, dans le Livre de Josué et dans le Livre des Juges. Les Anakim sont aussi cités dans le Livre de Jérémie.

1 Chronicles 9:17-18. "The Royal Fig Tree."
Continuing our discussion of resettling Jerusalem, we come into proximity of the Royal Palace.
What is hidden behind the King's Gate that is so wonderful and fabulous only he and his chosen few can have access to it? The Gematria at the end of Chapter 9, 212, says it is a Secret Royal Fig Tree.
Berachos 57a) states: “When a person sees a fig tree in his dreams, [this is an omen that] his Torah study will be preserved.”
As we are about to discover, the tree has branches and each produces something of importance to the ornamentation and protection of the King's Court.
First, the Gate:
17 The gatekeepers:
Shallum, Akkub, Talmon, Ahiman and their fellow Levites, Shallum their chief 18 being stationed at the King’s Gate on the east, up to the present time.
East is the awakening, the moment one recognizes one is at the dawn of a threshhold. As for the Eastern Gate, the Torah says in Korach:
Kori was the gatekeeper of the Eastern Gate, the direction of the sunrise, or the "awakening stage" of what is called "Horeb" "the Glowing."
Kori was:
A descendant of Asaph "the gatherer" and father of Meshelemiah, "whom the Lord remits" who was a gatekeeper of the tabernacle in the days of king David (1 Chronicles 26:1).
A son of Imnah, "the Right Hand of Prosperity", who was the keeper of the eastern gate of the temple of YHWH in Jerusalem. He was also in charge of the temple offerings and their distribution among the Levites (2 Chronicles 31:14).
Any time we see Kor "the calling" and Hor "the mountain" or a Korihor, we are discussing a process that leads to what is called Horeb, mentioned above.
The following Proclamations should be attributed to what is called "The Climbing to the Glowing" to AKA an unobstructed view of God from the highest of vantage points.
Shallum=
שלם
The verb שלם (shalem) means to be or make whole or complete, and is also used to describe a righteous recompense or proper restitution (whether positive or not). The familiar noun שלום (shalom) means wholeness, completeness or peace.
Akkub=
Verb עקב ('aqab) means to follow at the heel or supplant
Talmon=
טלם
Verb טלם (talam) means to oppress or injure.
Ahiman=
אח

These were the gatekeepers belonging to the camp of the Levites.
"To complete the supplantation of the injured people they must be made aware of what it means to enter the Gate of Ahiman, that there is fraternity in God's Paternity."
Recall this portion of Chronicles speaks to the fact the people of Israel are returning to their way of life after they achieved freedom from the Babylonians are now able to start over.
The first hint at the Secret of the Fig Tree is sojourners seeking new lives must not behave in any way resembling their previous oppressors. Otherwise, what's the point? This realization of what is different from one's favorite tyrant and oneself is the entrance to the Eastern Gate of the King's Palace.

37. Parsha Shlach. "The Dignitaries." From Numbers 13:1–15:41.
In Behaalotecha, the Pillar of Fire, Moses says a Census takes place, one that accounts for the personas that build the Tower to Heaven from the ground up to the sky.
Herein the Torah says no one must be left behind or cast out of the process entailed in the lighting and traversing the Towering Inferno to heaven, stating the logic it provides for this is universal:
We must all least try to become intelligent This is essential if violence and tyranny are to ever end on this world. In Shlach, God and Moses insist all naivete about this must end.
Thus begins the Parsha.
Exploring Canaan- The Place of Royalty
13 The Lord said to Moses, 2 “Send some men to explore the land of Canaan, which I am giving to the Israelites. From each ancestral tribe send one of its leaders.”
->Israelites are the noble qualities of mankind. Out of slavery to one's parents' ways of life, reverence of a violent human history, out of immaturity, far away from all of one's flawed judgements, on the other side of Sinai they yield up Paran, the "ornamental man":
3 So at the Lord’s command Moses sent them out from the Desert of Paran "dry of violence, rife with beauty." All of them were leaders of the Israelites. 4 These are their names:
from the tribe of Reuben, Shammua [desolation] son of Zakkur [mindfulness];
Leadership and mindfulness overcome carelessness.
5 from the tribe of Simeon, Shaphat [the governor] son of Hori [authority].
From the Law comes government and authority.
6 from the tribe of Judah, Caleb [dog] son of Jephunneh [to turn the corner];
Honor turns the dog into a man.
7 from the tribe of Issachar , Igal son of Joseph;
Friendship redeems defamation and makes men fruitful.
8 from the tribe of Ephraim, Hoshea [salvation] son of Nun [faith];
Prosperity and salvation are the provinces of those faithful to these torahs.
9 from the tribe of Benjamin, Palti [delivers] son of Raphu [heals];
Righteousness delivers and heals.
10 from the tribe of Zebulun, Gaddiel [fortune] son of Sodi [council];
Cities of honor are governed by talented councils.
11 from the tribe of Manasseh (a tribe of Joseph), Gaddi [fortune] son of Susi [swiftly];
Abandon flawed practices of the past and ride to fortune swiftly.
12 from the tribe of Dan, Ammiel [kinsman] son of Gemalli [passes over];
Good Judgement is akin to passing over [the mountain].
13 from the tribe of Asher, Sethur [passed over] son of Michael;
Happiness from passing over is a gift of God.
14 from the tribe of Naphtali, Nahbi [spokesperson] son of Vophsi [yah's abundance];
Governors must be outspoken about injustice.
15 from the tribe of Gad, Geuel [who flowers] son of Maki [passed over, flowers].
Civilization flowers when men cross over.
16 These are the names of the men Moses sent to explore the land. (Moses gave Hoshea son of Nun the name Joshua.)
17 When Moses sent them to explore Canaan, he said, “Go up through the Negev "dry, rolling hills] and on into the hill country. 18 See what the land is like and whether the people who live there are strong or weak, few or many. 19 What kind of land do they live in? Is it good or bad? What kind of towns do they live in? Are they unwalled or fortified? 20 How is the soil? Is it fertile or poor? Are there trees in it or not? Do your best to bring back some of the fruit of the land.” (It was the season for the first ripe grapes.)
-> do places free of violence, populated by men of stature exist? How do they do it? We need to figure this out.
21 So they went up and explored the land from the Desert of Zin [thorn, tradition] as far as Rehob [spacious] , toward Lebo Hamath [to surround]. 22 They went up through the Negev and came to Hebron [friendship], where Ahiman [my brother is a gift], Sheshai [white, translucent] and Talmai [integrity], the descendants of Anak [the ornament], lived. (Hebron had been built seven years before Zoan [the low region] in Egypt.) 23 When they reached the Valley of Eshkol [clusters of grapes] ,[a] they cut off a branch bearing a single cluster of grapes. Two of them carried it on a pole between them, along with some pomegranates and figs. 24 That place was called the Valley of Eshkol because of the cluster of grapes the Israelites cut off there. 25 At the end of forty days they returned from exploring the land.
Dignitaries explore the traditions of persons who surround themselves with friendship and brotherhood, purity, honesty, integrity and the Ornaments. Via the Seven Days Festivals, slaves in egypt create civilizations.
Report on the Exploration
26 They came back to Moses and Aaron and the whole Israelite community at Kadesh [sacred, holy] in the Desert of Paran “Glorious”. There they reported to them and to the whole assembly and showed them the fruit of the land. 27 They gave Moses this account: “We went into the land to which you sent us, and it does flow with milk and honey! Here is its fruit. 28 But the people who live there are powerful, and the cities are fortified and very large. We even saw descendants of Anak there. 29 The Amalekites [wrung out] live in the Negev [parched]; the Hittites [fearsome], Jebusites [tramplers] and Amorites [talkers] live in the hill country; and the Canaanites live near the sea and along the Jordan [descender].”
Violent people, who gossip and spread lies live in the peaks and valleys. The wise, men who ornament humanity live near the sea they crossed to escape from Egypt. They vault themselves from the others.
30 Then Caleb [the dog] silenced the people before Moses and said, “We should go up and take possession of the land, for we can certainly do it.”
31 But the men who had gone up with him said, “We can’t attack those people; they are stronger than we are.” 32 And they spread among the Israelites a bad report about the land they had explored. They said, “The land we explored devours those living in it. All the people we saw there are of great size. 33 We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.”
-> Nephilim are the above mantras. They are the practices of Canaan. They distinguish ornaments from savages. The comment about the grasshoppers, very insulting, means the spies looked and felt as if they had limpdiks. They weren't grown up yet, looked and acted and felt like it, but that's okay...Moses told them to go to Canaan for the very purposes of getting stiffer in their underpants.
The People Rebel
14 That night all the members of the community raised their voices and wept aloud. 2 All the Israelites grumbled against Moses and Aaron, and the whole assembly said to them, “If only we had died in Egypt! Or in this wilderness! 3 Why is the Lord bringing us to this land only to let us fall by the sword? Our wives and children will be taken as plunder. Wouldn’t it be better for us to go back to Egypt?” 4 And they said to each other, “We should choose a leader and go back to Egypt.”
5 Then Moses and Aaron fell facedown in front of the whole Israelite assembly gathered there. 6 Joshua son of Nun and Caleb son of Jephunneh, [he that beholds] who were among those who had explored the land, tore their clothes 7 and said to the entire Israelite assembly, “The land we passed through and explored is exceedingly good. 8 If the Lord is pleased with us, he will lead us into that land, a land flowing with milk and honey, and will give it to us. 9 Only do not rebel against the Lord. And do not be afraid of the people of the land, because we will devour them. Their protection is gone, but the Lord is with us. Do not be afraid of them.”
-> Moses and Aaron, "Deliverance and Exaltation" detach from the Assembly and the next gen, the ones that beheld success, tear their Israelite identities and refuse to learn and practice the Nephilim, ie "consume them."
10 But the whole assembly talked about stoning them. Then the glory of the Lord appeared at the tent of meeting to all the Israelites. 11 The Lord said to Moses, “How long will these people treat me with contempt? How long will they refuse to believe in me, in spite of all the signs I have performed among them? 12 I will strike them down with a plague and destroy them, but I will make you into a nation greater and stronger than they.”
13 Moses said to the Lord, “Then the Egyptians will hear about it! By your power you brought these people up from among them. 14 And they will tell the inhabitants of this land about it. They have already heard that you, Lord, are with these people and that you, Lord, have been seen face to face, that your cloud stays over them, and that you go before them in a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night. 15 If you put all these people to death, leaving none alive, the nations who have heard this report about you will say, 16 ‘The Lord was not able to bring these people into the land he promised them on oath, so he slaughtered them in the wilderness.’
17 “Now may the Lord’s strength be displayed, just as you have declared: 18 ‘The Lord is slow to anger, abounding in love and forgiving sin and rebellion. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished; he punishes the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation.’ 19 In accordance with your great love, forgive the sin of these people, just as you have pardoned them from the time they left Egypt until now.”
20 The Lord replied, “I have forgiven them, as you asked. 21 Nevertheless, as surely as I live and as surely as the glory of the Lord fills the whole earth, 22 not one of those who saw my glory and the signs I performed in Egypt and in the wilderness but who disobeyed me and tested me ten times— 23 not one of them will ever see the land I promised on oath to their ancestors. No one who has treated me with contempt will ever see it. 24 But because my servant Caleb has a different spirit and follows me wholeheartedly, I will bring him into the land he went to, and his descendants will inherit it. 25 Since the Amalekites and the Canaanites are living in the valleys, turn back tomorrow and set out toward the desert along the route to the Red Sea.[b]”
->Persons and nations who engage in defiance and neglect of the Ten Decrees, who embrace propaganda, despotic governments, who fail to wrestle with violence and corruption, who house a spirit other than the God of Israel shall not be allowed to prosper.
Forty years, the age old adage for "long enough" are, as the Torah says, "long enough":
26 The Lord said to Moses and Aaron: 27 “How long will this wicked community grumble against me? I have heard the complaints of these grumbling Israelites. 28 So tell them, ‘As surely as I live, declares the Lord, I will do to you the very thing I heard you say: 29 In this wilderness your bodies will fall—every one of you twenty years old or more who was counted in the census and who has grumbled against me. 30 Not one of you will enter the land I swore with uplifted hand to make your home, except Caleb son of Jephunneh and Joshua son of Nun.
31 As for your children that you said would be taken as plunder, I will bring them in to enjoy the land you have rejected. 32 But as for you, your bodies will fall in this wilderness. 33 Your children will be shepherds here for forty years, suffering for your unfaithfulness, until the last of your bodies lies in the wilderness. 34 For forty years—one year for each of the forty days you explored the land—you will suffer for your sins and know what it is like to have me against you.’
35 I, the Lord, have spoken, and I will surely do these things to this whole wicked community, which has banded together against me. They will meet their end in this wilderness; here they will die.”
-> This is not as mean as it sounds. If we struggle against the forces of darkness, they will die. Should we decide not to struggle, ie, if we grumble and complain, and fail to act, the good guys lose and the bad guys win. This is what is meant by the bad report...Fox News is an example of "bad reporting":
36 So the men Moses had sent to explore the land, who returned and made the whole community grumble against him by spreading a bad report about it— 37 these men who were responsible for spreading the bad report about the land were struck down and died of a plague before the Lord. 38 Of the men who went to explore the land, only Joshua son of Nun [Faith] and Caleb [faithful] son of Jephunneh [he that beholds] survived.
39 When Moses reported this to all the Israelites, they mourned bitterly. 40 Early the next morning they set out for the highest point in the hill country, saying, “Now we are ready to go up to the land the Lord promised. Surely we have sinned!”
41 But Moses said, “Why are you disobeying the Lord’s command? This will not succeed! 42 Do not go up, because the Lord is not with you. You will be defeated by your enemies, 43 for the Amalekites and the Canaanites will face you there. Because you have turned away from the Lord, he will not be with you and you will fall by the sword.”
44 Nevertheless, in their presumption they went up toward the highest point in the hill country, though neither Moses nor the ark of the Lord’s covenant moved from the camp. 45 Then the Amalekites and the Canaanites who lived in that hill country came down and attacked them and beat them down all the way to Hormah [designation to the Highest Place.]
-> the Bad Reporters and the gossipers are hindrances to the Climb. They are subject to cyclic existence. Now they aren't violent or warmongers, but they willingly take the risk. They don't really anticipate life without them.
The Amelakites, those who reject such things came along with the Canaanites, persons who observe the teachings of the Nephilim, came and beat the shit out of the grasshopper guys with their big hard manbats all the way to heaven.
Supplementary Offerings
15 The Lord said to Moses, 2 “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘After you enter the land I am giving you as a home 3 and you present to the Lord food offerings from the herd or the flock, as an aroma pleasing to the Lord [the truth, always]—whether burnt offerings or sacrifices, for special vows or freewill offerings or festival offerings— 4 then the person who brings an offering shall present to the Lord a grain offering of a tenth of an ephah[c] of the finest flour mixed with a quarter of a hin[d] of olive oil. 5 With each lamb for the burnt offering or the sacrifice, prepare a quarter of a hin of wine as a drink offering.
Hin is grace, and ephah "gloom" is the opposite. Obeying the First Commandment, "I am the Lord your God you shall have no other gods" became a problem when the boys started listening to Bad Reporters instead. This is as the Torah says a flawed presumption, especially while the Ark -logic and sentience-are supposed to govern us.
Bad Reporters do not observe the Decrees or resort to the Ark, but spread plagues instead. Those who listen to Bad Reporters are sinners and need to sacrifice the Reporters, AKA obey the Second Decree:
6 “‘With a ram prepare a grain offering of two-tenths of an ephah[e] of the finest flour mixed with a third of a hin[f] of olive oil, 7 and a third of a hin of wine as a drink offering. Offer it as an aroma pleasing to the Lord.
8 “‘When you prepare a young bull as a burnt offering or sacrifice, for a special vow or a fellowship offering to the Lord, 9 bring with the bull a grain offering of three-tenths of an ephah[g] of the finest flour mixed with half a hin[h] of olive oil,
Hins are offerings of goodwill, grace and humanity.
10 and also bring half a hin of wine as a drink offering. This will be a food offering, an aroma pleasing to the Lord. 11 Each bull or ram, each lamb or young goat, is to be prepared in this manner. 12 Do this for each one, for as many as you prepare.
Young persons, all persons in fact need to see dedication to the Torah, the Temple, the Ark, and the Camp. Bad Reports, those that make it seem like its okay to be violent, to listen to apostates and heretics, to suspend disbelief and critical thought, these things take the Name in vain. They lead men astray and turn them back into animals.
13 “‘Everyone who is native-born must do these things in this way when they present a food offering as an aroma pleasing to the Lord. 14 For the generations to come, whenever a foreigner or anyone else living among you presents a food offering as an aroma pleasing to the Lord, they must do exactly as you do.
15 The community is to have the same rules for you and for the foreigner residing among you; this is a lasting ordinance for the generations to come. You and the foreigner shall be the same before the Lord: 16 The same laws and regulations will apply both to you and to the foreigner residing among you.’”
17 The Lord said to Moses, 18 “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘When you enter the land to which I am taking you 19 and you eat the food of the land, present a portion as an offering to the Lord. 20 Present a loaf from the first of your ground meal and present it as an offering from the threshing floor.
21 Throughout the generations to come you are to give this offering to the Lord from the first of your ground meal.
Offerings for Unintentional Sins
22 “‘Now if you as a community unintentionally fail to keep any of these commands the Lord gave Moses— 23 any of the Lord’s commands to you through him, from the day the Lord gave them and continuing through the generations to come—
24 and if this is done unintentionally without the community being aware of it, then the whole community is to offer a young bull for a burnt offering as an aroma pleasing to the Lord, along with its prescribed grain offering and drink offering, and a male goat for a sin offering.[i]
25 The priest is to make atonement for the whole Israelite community, and they will be forgiven, for it was not intentional and they have presented to the Lord for their wrong a food offering and a sin offering.
26 The whole Israelite community and the foreigners residing among them will be forgiven, because all the people were involved in the unintentional wrong.
27 “‘But if just one person sins unintentionally, that person must bring a year-old female goat for a sin offering. 28 The priest is to make atonement before the Lord for the one who erred by sinning unintentionally, and when atonement has been made, that person will be forgiven. 29 One and the same law applies to everyone who sins unintentionally, whether a native-born Israelite or a foreigner residing among you.
30 “‘But anyone who sins defiantly, whether native-born or foreigner, blasphemes the Lord and must be cut off from the people of Israel. 31 Because they have despised the Lord’s word and broken his commands, they must surely be cut off; their guilt remains on them.’”
-> Unintentional sins take place because of Bad Reports. You may really think it's okay to hang Jesus on a cross, or doing so guarantees one a place in heaven, or guns are okay, discriminating against others for arbitrary reasons is what God wants, but the Torah says these things are profane.
Unintentional sins are the same as intentional sins they have to stop.
The Sabbath-Breaker Put to Death
32 While the Israelites were in the wilderness, a man was found gathering wood on the Sabbath day. 33 Those who found him gathering wood brought him to Moses and Aaron and the whole assembly,
34 and they kept him in custody, because it was not clear what should be done to him. 35 Then the Lord said to Moses, “The man must die. The whole assembly must stone him outside the camp.” 36 So the assembly took him outside the camp and stoned him to death, as the Lord commanded Moses.
-> Gathering wood means the man was masturbating instead of observing Shabbat. He was sentenced to death because without the Ordinances, life will fall apart like shoddy wool.
Tassels on Garments
37 The Lord said to Moses, 38 “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘Throughout the generations to come you are to make tassels on the corners of your garments, with a blue cord on each tassel.
39 You will have these tassels to look at and so you will remember all the commands of the Lord, that you may obey them and not prostitute yourselves by chasing after the lusts of your own hearts and eyes.
40 Then you will remember to obey all my commands and will be consecrated to your God. 41 I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt to be your God. I am the Lord your God.’”
-> Tassels or Ttiztzit are realizations; they are the opposites of unintentional sins. A blue cord in the corners of the personality represent intentional aspects of one's humanity.
These, also called Nephilim, should adorn the self, four on each corner (see above). For reference, the Four Directions are:
North= What is hidden by God or superconscious.
East= What we are conscious of.
South= Ways we are intelligent.
West= The state of enlightenment.
They correspond to the 12 Tribes, and are organized in four rows of three upon the Ephod.
Thus ends Parsha Shlach, "the Dignitaries" numbered 37 of 54 contained in the Holy Torah.

Judges 1: God Sends The Tribes Of Israel Into Battle Against The Canaanites
1 After the death of Joshua, the Israelites asked the Lord, “Who of us is to go up first to fight against the Canaanites?”
2 The Lord answered, “Judah shall go up; I have given the land into their hands.”
3 The men of Judah then said to the Simeonites their fellow Israelites, “Come up with us into the territory allotted to us, to fight against the Canaanites. We in turn will go with you into yours.” So the Simeonites went with them.
4 When Judah attacked, the Lord gave the Canaanites and Perizzites into their hands, and they struck down ten thousand men at Bezek.
5 It was there that they found Adoni-Bezek and fought against him, putting to rout the Canaanites and Perizzites.
6 Adoni-Bezek fled, but they chased him and caught him, and cut off his thumbs and big toes.
7 Then Adoni-Bezek said, “Seventy kings with their thumbs and big toes cut off have picked up scraps under my table. Now God has paid me back for what I did to them.” They brought him to Jerusalem, and he died there.
8 The men of Judah attacked Jerusalem also and took it. They put the city to the sword and set it on fire.
9 After that, Judah went down to fight against the Canaanites living in the hill country, the Negev and the western foothills.
10 They advanced against the Canaanites living in Hebron (formerly called Kiriath Arba) and defeated Sheshai, Ahiman and Talmai.
11 From there they advanced against the people living in Debir (formerly called Kiriath Sepher).
12 And Caleb said, “I will give my daughter Aksah in marriage to the man who attacks and captures Kiriath Sepher.”
13 Othniel son of Kenaz, Caleb’s younger brother, took it; so Caleb gave his daughter Aksah to him in marriage.
14 One day when she came to Othniel, she urged him to ask her father for a field. When she got off her donkey, Caleb asked her, “What can I do for you?”
15 She replied, “Do me a special favor. Since you have given me land in the Negev, give me also springs of water.” So Caleb gave her the upper and lower springs.
16 The descendants of Moses’ father-in-law, the Kenite, went up from the City of Palms with the people of Judah to live among the inhabitants of the Desert of Judah in the Negev near Arad.
17 Then the men of Judah went with the Simeonites their fellow Israelites and attacked the Canaanites living in Zephath, and they totally destroyed the city. Therefore it was called Hormah.
18 Judah also took Gaza, Ashkelon and Ekron—each city with its territory.
19 The Lord was with the men of Judah. They took possession of the hill country, but they were unable to drive the people from the plains, because they had chariots fitted with iron.
20 As Moses had promised, Hebron was given to Caleb, who drove from it the three sons of Anak.
21 The Benjamites, however, did not drive out the Jebusites, who were living in Jerusalem; to this day the Jebusites live there with the Benjamites.
22 Now the tribes of Joseph attacked Bethel, and the Lord was with them.
23 When they sent men to spy out Bethel (formerly called Luz),
24 the spies saw a man coming out of the city and they said to him, “Show us how to get into the city and we will see that you are treated well.”
25 So he showed them, and they put the city to the sword but spared the man and his whole family.
26 He then went to the land of the Hittites, where he built a city and called it Luz, which is its name to this day.
27 But Manasseh did not drive out the people of Beth Shan or Taanach or Dor or Ibleam or Megiddo and their surrounding settlements, for the Canaanites were determined to live in that land.
28 When Israel became strong, they pressed the Canaanites into forced labor but never drove them out completely.
29 Nor did Ephraim drive out the Canaanites living in Gezer, but the Canaanites continued to live there among them.
30 Neither did Zebulun drive out the Canaanites living in Kitron or Nahalol, so these Canaanites lived among them, but Zebulun did subject them to forced labor.
31 Nor did Asher drive out those living in Akko or Sidon or Ahlab or Akzib or Helbah or Aphek or Rehob.
32 The Asherites lived among the Canaanite inhabitants of the land because they did not drive them out.
33 Neither did Naphtali drive out those living in Beth Shemesh or Beth Anath; but the Naphtalites too lived among the Canaanite inhabitants of the land, and those living in Beth Shemesh and Beth Anath became forced laborers for them.
34 The Amorites confined the Danites to the hill country, not allowing them to come down into the plain.
35 And the Amorites were determined also to hold out in Mount Heres, Aijalon and Shaalbim, but when the power of the tribes of Joseph increased, they too were pressed into forced labor.
36 The boundary of the Amorites was from Scorpion Pass to Sela and beyond.

1 This then was the lot of the tribe of the children of Judah by their families; even to the border of Edom the wilderness of Zin southward was the uttermost part of the south coast. 2 And their south border was from the shore of the salt sea, from the bay that looketh southward: 3 And it went out to the south side to Maalehacrabbim, and passed along to Zin, and ascended up on the south side unto Kadeshbarnea, and passed along to Hezron, and went up to Adar, and fetched a compass to Karkaa: 4 From thence it passed toward Azmon, and went out unto the river of Egypt; and the goings out of that coast were at the sea: this shall be your south coast. 5 And the east border was the salt sea, even unto the end of Jordan. And their border in the north quarter was from the bay of the sea at the uttermost part of Jordan: 6 And the border went up to Bethhogla, and passed along by the north of Betharabah; and the border went up to the stone of Bohan the son of Reuben: 7 And the border went up toward Debir from the valley of Achor, and so northward, looking toward Gilgal, that is before the going up to Adummim, which is on the south side of the river: and the border passed toward the waters of Enshemesh, and the goings out thereof were at Enrogel: 8 And the border went up by the valley of the son of Hinnom unto the south side of the Jebusite; the same is Jerusalem: and the border went up to the top of the mountain that lieth before the valley of Hinnom westward, which is at the end of the valley of the giants northward: 9 And the border was drawn from the top of the hill unto the fountain of the water of Nephtoah, and went out to the cities of mount Ephron; and the border was drawn to Baalah, which is Kirjathjearim: 10 And the border compassed from Baalah westward unto mount Seir, and passed along unto the side of mount Jearim, which is Chesalon, on the north side, and went down to Bethshemesh, and passed on to Timnah:
11 And the border went out unto the side of Ekron northward: and the border was drawn to Shicron, and passed along to mount Baalah, and went out unto Jabneel; and the goings out of the border were at the sea. 12 And the west border was to the great sea, and the coast thereof. This is the coast of the children of Judah round about according to their families. 13 And unto Caleb the son of Jephunneh he gave a part among the children of Judah, according to the commandment of the LORD to Joshua, even the city of Arba the father of Anak, which city is Hebron. 14 And Caleb drove thence the three sons of Anak, Sheshai, and Ahiman, and Talmai, the children of Anak. 15 And he went up thence to the inhabitants of Debir: and the name of Debir before was Kirjathsepher. 16 And Caleb said, He that smiteth Kirjathsepher, and taketh it, to him will I give Achsah my daughter to wife. 17 And Othniel the son of Kenaz, the brother of Caleb, took it: and he gave him Achsah his daughter to wife. 18 And it came to pass, as she came unto him, that she moved him to ask of her father a field: and she lighted off her ass; and Caleb said unto her, What wouldest thou? 19 Who answered, Give me a blessing; for thou hast given me a south land; give me also springs of water. And he gave her the upper springs, and the nether springs. 20 This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Judah according to their families.
