Also shout out to that one time that user on here, who I did not know and who did not know me, absolutely tore me to shreds when I casually shared that my brother was seeing a goy and my family didn’t know what to make of it. I think about them often and hope that they eventually located their common sense and compassion 😘

I finally watched Nobody Wants This and I obviously have the same criticisms regarding its portrayal of Jewish women but it reminded me of the time my husband and I, two yeshiva-educated Israelis, looked into a reform synagogue in New York simply because we were annoyed with the seating arrangements at our shul and found it to be so foreign it was nearly unrecognizable. Reform Judaism is fascinating.

Felt like doing some random Grown Apart AU doodles to relax in-between comp stuff.

Truthfully, it started out as me just wanting to draw Donnie in his dapper little vest, sans the tailcoat. And then it just snowballed from there lol.

No specific context for any of these well, except maybe one but the feathery fiend in the top-left is one of Leo's hooligan yokai friends. Her name is Jia. I'll post more about her (and the other yokai teens) in the near future.
