"Noo, let me help you!!" he insisted, moving forward again.

"I'm not stupid!" Akaza huffed.

"You're not stupid, but you haven't done this before. It's your first time," Douma commented, placing his hands on Akaza's waist, starting to guide him through the steps.

"Stop it! And don't put your hands on me!" Akaza ordered. He waved away Douma's hands. "And anyways, they're cold!" he sniffed, crossing his arms. He tried skating away but ended up having to clutch onto the side of the rink. He looked away. Douma laughed. "You can't ice skate, okay? It's normal not to be able to on your first try. Besides, I know, so I can help you!" 

Akaza was hesitent, not wanting to give in, but he sighed. "Fine. But this better be worth my time." He glared at the blond, moving to turn away but only ending up nearly falling again. "Why is the ice so damn hard to balance on?!" he growled, stomping a foot down. The ice cracked, the part where he stood, crumbling to icey dust. "Oh fuck." He moved away, faling backwards onto the ice. Douma caught him from under his arms, pulling him up to stand. "Alright, Akaza-dono- Let's get you started!" he said. Akaza rolled his eyes but nodded. "Yeah."

"First, watch your stance. When you stand, you probably don't want to stand straight up and down, at least not until you get used to it. So spread your legs apart slightly and keep your stance balanced. Yes, like that! See? You're getting the hang of it," Douma smiled, making Akaza feel proud. "Yeah.. whatever. Just show me how to skate."

"It's not that easy, but okay! So first.."

The two went around the ice, Akaza falling multiple times. Douma caught him whenever he could but there was times when Akaza was on the other side of the rink and he wasn't able to get to him on time. But it didn't matter, because both of them were having a lot of fun. A couple hours later, Douma was sitting by the side, watching Akaza wobble around. He was starting to get the sense of how to do it and could kind of skate around. Mostly a mixture of half walking, part slipping, part actually skating. It was funny to watch. Even Akaza was laughing at himself. And as the two stayed around for longer, they found they enjoyed each other's company like this. It was comforting, too, in a way.

Akaza sat down next to Douma, resting his legs. They sat in silence for a moment before Douma spoke up. "You having fun?" he asked, smiling over to the other.

"Mm.. mhm!" Akaza hummed, nodding slightly. "Surprisingly."

"I'm glad."

They were quiet for another minute. The silence wasn't awkward, though, not like usual. It was a sweet silence. Douma leaned against Akaza, laughing to himself slightly. "Would you like to come here again some time?" He hesitated then added, "WIth me?"

Akaza paused then looked over to the blond and gave him a tentative smile. "Sure. Why not?"

Sighhh I have similar readings about them as you! No wonder Riize looks so off when debuted. Hello again! I really liked your post about the perfect date with kickoff!Gojo and I have a few comments to make!

I also live close to the sea and a lot of people surf, not just college students, so reading that Gojo practices this sport gives me a feeling of realism and warmth in my heart. I can imagine him getting out of the water tired after an afternoon of training and snuggling up to the reader, without worrying about getting her wet! Or him encouraging her to surf with him, and giving her some tips.

When it comes to dogs, I have a weird headcannon for no curses au!Satoru, which is that he's an animal lover. But only small animals, like small dogs or cats (especially cats), but he felt insecure around large dogs. Not because he had any trauma, but because he wasn't used to being around them. And I like to imagine that the reader has a big dog, like a German Shepherd, Husky or Saint Bernard, and Satoru, at first, is afraid to approach the reader and visit her house.

And there's also that question you answered about Gojo on a date at the museum, it's really funny. I'm a history student, so I thought it was hilarious how Satoru would react. I imagine the reader trying to explain something to him, and him not understanding a word of what she is saying.

guys i finished taking the uni entrance exam and i am currently on the way home, but i feel like sobbing 😭 the test had three dimensions (each for 15 points). one was B2 english which i think i nailed and the second was alright too, it was my native language and lots of reading. ahhh just caught up with omegaverse and chapter 9 was so good!! the beginning scenes were so bittersweet, with stu distancing himself from ben, and jos being frosty to stu due to jealousy 😭 i love the whole confusion, with jos having a crush on ben, ben having a crush on stu, thinking they're destined for each other and believing joe and jos are meant for each other, stu still pining after steve and trying to push ben and jos together 😭😭 it's a whole mess honestly and i'm surprised none of them have punched someone else yet.

gasppp stu getting sick in the final parts of the chapter? it's definitely not a stomach infection or food poisoning, is he going into heat?? jimmy knowing what stu's medicine is called cements my suspicion even more that he knows/guesses they're more than an immunity drug. if he's going into heat though, how? i thought antarax prevents heating? did he take an accidental overdose, or did he actually get food poisoning and the results was he vomited up the antarax in his system before it could take effect, leading him to go into pre-heat? and he's feeling it harder because his body is making up for all the heats he didn't have? so many questions!

Ahha, I think Stu is definitely at the 'ffs go talk to him' stage with Ben now xD Very much feeling the desire to break ties with Ben seeming so clingy and a bit of a threat to his alpha status.

Yeah... Not Jos' smartest move, but he definitely tried to fabricate that situation. You just know Joe has already torn him a new one for it.

Wasn't always planned but it actually made a lot of sense to me that Stu would have been Ben's first ever. Because Ben was so fixated on his one true omega and, mentally, he told himself it was ok to be with Stuart because he was alpha and he was just getting some experience. Then it turns out Stu is omega and ofc Ben thinks this was his fated omega all along. It really is bittersweet, and a massive what could have been. Had Stu not felt the need to stay hidden, if he'd have felt like he could keep playing and be respected as omega, then he and Ben really could have had something special.

Finny was always going to drag him back because he loves him. He didn't have a problem that Stuart might love someone else, he had a problem that Stuart never seemed happy. Seriously, as much as it hurt him, he was ready to support Ben and Stuart because of how happy Stuart seemed. So when Stuart tells him that's not a thing he's really surprised because they did seem well suited. And importantly Ben made Stuart happy.

So, to clarify, Eoin doesn't know anything about Antarax, only that Stuart told him he couldn't stay in Australia because he needed it, and KP had destroyed what he had. All Eoin tells Ali and the rest of the group is that the injury story was a lie, and the real reason Stu went home was because KP destroyed his medication.

Jimmy also doesn't know what Antarax is, he just doesn't understand how immunity boosters can let Stu suffer food poisoning this bad (yes, it is just food poisoning. IRL Stu was unwell ahead of the SA World Cup game and lost 5kg in weight. Nothing is said on why he was unwell, but FP makes sense and it would put him off eating much as well. His strain comes as a suspected result of usual load through his body but his body being weaker due to the loss of weight). So Jimmy is suss of this doctor he's never heard of, the fact Stuart can't be seen by the team doctor and the fact that this Antarax doesn't seem to be doing what it says it should. Remember, this is Jimmy's first time up close and personal with Stuart; usually he shares with Ali, so it's the first time Jimmy is being exposed to him in this way.

Also he knows it's Antarax either because it's written on the tray or Jimmy asks what Stuart takes every morning and he tells him. Remember, it's been designed so that if anyone looks it up the search results will come back that Antarax is an immunity booster for alphas.

No, Stuart isn't going into pre heat or heat. You're right in that Antarax fully prevents that. He doesn't take the Antarax when he's being unwell, Jimmy gives it to him in the evening when he's feeling a bit better (and they're cuddling in bed). Stu just has to take one every day, and if one is missed he has a 24 hour window to take another one or his body will start displaying omega (48 hours total, which is how Stu was able to fly home from Australia and still be OK when KP destroyed them last chapter).

Ali is suss for a whole host of other reasons, but I'm not sure Ali suspects Stuart isn't Alpha. It's really intersting actually, especially since Jimmy was never originally planned to have this role, and I'm looking forward to investigating it more when Jim/Al's mirror work of HIPS (a one shot) comes along (after VK/Pat's work).

The VK scene - also not one planned, but this felt like an opportune moment to bring him in, show how he interacts with alphas and kind of how he is in this world. We needed him established before Ch10... ;) And of course Stuart would want to talk to him, because VK is exactly what he should have been, and he still wants the answer to the question of was masking the easier route, or should he have embraced who he was and fought through adversity. It's a big thing for Stuart and only about to become a more prominent question he's asking himself.

Next chapter is a good one if I do say so myself. Looking forward to hearing your reaction to it when it's up!

100% agree w and have had the same thoughts as you about fics/continuing to write/the pub industry (which i really should give much more thought to, given that one of my degrees is in writing🧍‍♂️) and yeah no it DOES serve as a good incentive to build a portfolio (if anyone asked me for a portfolio, i would simply hand over my uni work bc i have nothing else rn LMAO) but tbh i think even if it is a hobby, it's a good way to kinda explore and set your ??? idk like foundations or whatever so you get an idea of what you wanna write about and if you actually wanna take it seriously (which isn't to say you aren't - we can 100% take hobbies seriously - just that different contexts/intents would call for different. things. wow i love words.)

and also related but unrelated, i think its fun/nice to. uh. idk how to say it but for us (as in literally you and me, but also other mutuals and people in fandom who made friends in the context of fandom) to see eachother write or talk about things outside of the uniting factor or common denominator or whatever? though yeah that does kinda potentially extend the relationship beyond what some people are comfy w. i'm kinda just rambling rn sorry AHHA

yes yes, tryna write about real life stuff really makes me pause once in a while and just think (?) it through bc writing fiction is gen easier than trying to string together the raw ideas relating irl issues/stuff (for me at least). like it really makes me stop midway and rethink my choice of phrasing stuff or even putting forward an opinion thinking about how its gonna make people percieve me? well, not that its not sumn that doesn't apply to fiction as well bc i kinda think that the way one writes always just brings about some sort of perception of their character and personal views through their words, no matter how subtle ... am i making sense? but fictional writing just lets you cloak it into a 'what-if' situation where any judgement of your story/character(s) is not a direct discernment of your personal opinions whereas talking about irl stuff always comes with that concious load of having your opinions/thoughts being obligated to a verdict (positive/negative/both).

so anywayyy sjhdj, yes it's fun to just write and pursue as a hobby bc its fun communiatingideas and realise that it might not be all that irrelevant as you thought haha :>

The physical appearances aren’t that important to the story, so please feel free to picture characters however you want! I can’t escape describing eyes, so that’s probably the only thing that will impede readers’ imaginations when it comes to that.

As for explicit scenes… There will be more, but I’m not all that great at them. If you’ve read Beta in the Alpha Pack, any r-rated scenes will probably be similar to the ones in that (not super detailed, more just vibes).  

Plot somehow ended up winning over porn in the KY Werewolf series, for better or for worse.

ahh... the losers. LOL sorry that was meant to be affectionate 🤣🤡 but yeah. i honestly did stay true to my outline for this confession portion,,, sort of OOPS AHHA they were supposed to have just bumped into each other and sunwoo just tags along like a lost puppy, but THIS TIME he just,, , uh plans to follow yn around lol and try to make amends. wow, that sounds so sad 💀

and i always suffer from White Room Syndrome where i always neglect to describe the surrounding room to the audience, so that's why i specifically mentioned the dry noodles and pasta aisle, and the BOGO pasta deals LOL i thought it would add a little humor to it, as well, since it was so random
