WOW. I'm speechless! I thought Naked Neighbor was the best thing I've ever read but then I came across ur other fic, Sneaky Link and oh......my GOD!!!!! I am not kidding when I'm telling you that you need to be hired somewhere for a tv show or movie writer IDK ANYTHING. Everything you wrote resonates, you describe emotions from both the main and side characters in such a way that it makes me conflicted to even take sides. Not only that but the pacing is incredible, as is the way you explain every single action and while adding comedy in just the right way even though it's such a heavy story. Sneaky Link was just wow. A ride. I know it's a fucked up love story but I'm so happy that it ended the way it did. I CAN'T THANK YOU ENOUGH FOR SHARING UR TALENT WITH THE WORLD and I'm kicking myself for not coming across it sooner! Do you have plans for other fics cause I'm hooked and I've read literally ur whole masterlist and I'm dying for more 😭😭😭

mag 153 - okay yeah this episode is unsettling but Johnny pronouncing "agape" as "ahga-pe" really threw me off for the rest of it 😭 (I've only heard it as "ah-gahp-eh"). there's another pronunciation that always gets me that throws me off and for the life of me I can't remember it but I know it starts with a D and it throws me off every time because it's straight up a different word for Brits than Americans.

mag 155 - okay yeah I understand why this story is here in relation to the overarching story, but I nearly couldn't get through it, not because the idea of the narrator killing people, but because they were so uppity about it, self-centered people like that are infuriating to me

Starting off, the body is definitely not human, not only because of the size, but after an autopsy I have discovered the lack of organs in the body seem to be due to the body never having them in the first place.

My idea on the matter of what this is is mostly a theory, one made by a partner of mine, an archeologist named Armren. [Access denied after initiated review] Empire burn away a lot of history, few places and ruins are left.

My assistant has been handling mail for me while I'm down here, it seems Armren sent a letter discussing some mostly intact ruins. I sent a letter back discussing a meeting date to look into these as they could be promising for me at the current time. I assume the next I'll be writing once I come back.

I have returned from the expedition, some writings in the ruins and illustrations depicting parts of a story on the walls. I can say the main bit I can use and speak of in terms of relevancy to my investigations is regarding a illustration of a feminine figure standing far taller over characters wearing what I'd assume to be crowns. It was labeled with the phrase

"Ahga' Petholas' numbra, ste'run uer regas"

If it weren't for Armren, I would've just assumed the writing was simply horrible grammer regarding the first part, which should translate to "A loves shadow, born to give up one's all". But they explained to me that in previous writings the term "Ahga' Petholas" is regarded as a title for a being known as [Access Denied afterinitiated review] I couldn't translate the second half but Armren said they'll look over her notes and get back to me on that.

But one last thing to report is the term "numbra" or shadow, why would the figure be referred to as a shadow and not a being. Maybe it matches with the body here, as the black ichor and shadow look might be related. Will finish the report once I get mail.

Update to report: [review unfinished, proceed with caution]

A day passed and I received a letter from Armren already. She seemed to translate the rest of the passage;

"Dromeda's Shadow, stood above the kings"

So the giant figure in the wall art indeed stood above the kings.

Theory: The giant "shadow" seemingly related to the body down in these mines, although the body has more of a... androgynous look to them, rather then feminine.

The illustration had the kings bowing to the figure Dromeda. Or not bowing but worshipping, praying more so. It seems if I'm correct these "shadows" were worshipped as gods. But if Dromeda isn't the body down here with me, then which god/shadow is this?
