Ah! No! You're very much allowed to ask these things :)

Firstly, the other site option. A few gif makers do leave a watermark, so check for one of those first. If not, try actually following this tutorial and you might find the gif you saw there on here! I've tried that a few times and it's worked wonders I tell you. If you really cannot find a source, then I think you might have to find a different gif to use :(

Now, I'm gonna show you how to do this on desktop, but if anyone who's a mobile user wants to reblog this with an app tutorial please don't feel afraid to.

Hi theprissythumblina, sorry for the last answer but I was only on mobile answering multiple things for an ask is always a hassle for me. But now I am on desktop and here we go

The thing is, Sea of Memories Sea of Chances is so old, I think almost ten years by today, and started as a silly little thing because I was inspired after watching Pirates of the Caribbean again, I didn't really put a thought into obstacles and stakes. Something that will change during the re-write, even if I don't know how yet.

Or it will stay as it is, and I call it comfort. lol

But one thing that is some sort of obstacle, is the riddle Killian and Becca have to solve once they reach the destination.

Hi there! Ah thank you so much, I'm delighted you like it ❤️ and of course, that's no trouble. So each set of 3 is an image size of 540x450px (pixels). The taller portrait gif is 268x450px, and the two smaller landscape gifs are 268x223px. This allows for the 4px gaps between them all.

All the gifs are created individually (making sure the frame lengths are the same) then converted into smart objects and moved onto the 540x450 canvas.

Sorry I hope this makes some sort of sense, I'm not the best at explaining things! And I'm on mobile rn, but if you'd like me to elaborate further I can try my best next time I'm on my laptop.

As a recommendation if you're looking to learn more about giffing then @chaoticresources share some amazing resources, including layout templates for gifsets not dissimilar to what I created. 😊

how did you manage to use the typewriter font in your Merlin As Visual Novels gifsets?? i've tried and failed so many times, it's driving me crazy, tumblr WILL NOT cooperate with me 😭 pls help

Ah lol sorry, I didn't actually make those gifsets. In fact I don't even make gifsets at all! (although I've been considering doing so)

And I do know what post/s you're talking about, but unfortunately I wasn't able to find them. If anyone else can find the gifsets being referred to here, then feel free to rb with some links so the actual OP can get proper credit!

That being said, I do know a thing or two about computers and this sort of thing in general so I can do my best to share what I know!

If this is a matter of changing the text of your Tumblr post to be more typewriter-y, then that's a pretty easy fix. If you're on PC then you gotta highlight the text, click on the text editor drop-down tab, and select "Chat". If you're on a mobile device, then this text editor tab should already be pre-loaded onto the posting interface and all you have to do is click around a few times until the text changes accordingly. That...isn't the most descriptive way of putting it. Idk if you've noticed but I'm not very good with words.

In regards to fonts in general (not just Tumblr-specific), there are a few typewriter-esque fonts that exist. My usual go-to is Courier, because not only does it have the typewriter vibe but if I'm not mistaken I believe it's also monospaced (which is useful for reasons I won't rant about here). There's also Source Code Pro, but that's only on Google Docs.

And if you don't have access to either of these fonts on your PC, then what you're gonna wanna do is go to a font library online and download one from there. I personally trust Google Fonts best, and as far as I know all the ones there are free.

Now if you're familiar with downloading fonts or are generally pretty tech-savvy, you can skip this next bit. When you download a font, it's likely going to come in the form of a .zip folder. Inside this folder is a series of files, most of which are labeled with a file extension reading '.ttf', which stands for 'true type font'. Once you've opened the .ttf file, you'll be presented with an install button. By clicking that, you're installing that font type. And that's how you can get a typewriter font - or any new/custom font - onto your computer.

In regards to the getting your text to move and animate as though it's being typed out in real time (often called a typewriter animation)...well, I usually just use pre-set text animations. A lot of video editors have text animations available, and the easiest way to go about it is probably to just use one of those. I'm afraid I can't be any help beyond that, since I'm not really much of an animator.

But of course, everything I just talked about might be completely different in the context of gifs. And my gif-making experience begins and ends with a few hours spent goofing off on Photoshop (yes, you can make gifs with Photoshop).

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful, and hopefully we can get you in touch with the proper gif-maker who actually made the content you're referring to!

Are you anti Ragnarok or Pro Ragnarok?

Ah, this is a complicated thing.

I think there's good and bad parts to Ragnarok. Parts I enjoy, and parts I don't. I enjoy how beautiful Loki is (especially in that gorgeous suit! and his capes? oh my goodness! and his new helmet!), I enjoy his magic (that scene he got from Valkyrie's mind is GORGEOUS), I enjoy seeing him make Good Decisions like returning to save Asgard when he absolutely didn't have to (loki is a good boy).

However, I also don't enjoy parts of it. I don't enjoy how they practically retconned his character and said he attacked Thor when they were children - Loki was a quieter child who was inclined to mischief, not violence. I don't enjoy how so many jokes are made at Loki's expense. And I absolutely hate seeing Thor torture Loki by super-heating his veins and essentially leaving him for dead.

Ragnarok's treatment and handling of Loki has also influenced subsequent Marvel content - especially the series - which has further demeaned and misrepresented him. He's already a misunderstood character, and many of the recent content has further complicated things.

So, overall, it's mixed. My feelings on Ragnarok as a whole are mixed. Sigh.

If you meant the comment on AO3, it was there too!! Just exactly the day that you dropped this ask I was going to (and actually did) answer that AO3 comment!!! It was a TREASURE! 

The reason behind it is, the early morning (some hours before you dropped the comment) got very bad for me. Some silly thing here in Tumblr that brought me down on the dumps. I don’t know if you saw it, but there was a week I was like…grey? Like not answering with my usual bubbliness. It was because of what happened, I was trying to contain myself (long story short, some people out of fandom found me via another post, and started making fun of my bubbly and toddler-like attitude when I reply to some posts OTL So I felt embarrassed and observed, like people were clicking my username just to spy and see what I was doing and what else I said hnngnhg).

And nope Kiri didn’t know jsl from before, but mers do have something similar to a sign language (there’s deaf and mute merpeople too, after all) so he recognized it as Bakugou going “I want to talk to you and this is the best way to” - also, he’d never seen a tablet before and Bakugou was showing him an explosion on it to make him understand and instead he went “what is this SORCERY” and got excited about a gif. Good, pure kid. I had no clue how to add that in the comic in a fast way tho so let’s leave it at him being happy they found a possible way to communicate haha

They started thinking it through and for some reason the theories that ended up being more popular are about it being either Kaminari, Kirishima or Hagakure - I don’t think any of these are true, but if you google search “kaminari traitor theory” or the same with the other two names you should easily find the posts explaining the theories and where they come from, if you’re interested!

You wanna know the best thing the absolute best thing? My very first bnha comic was something eerily similar to the first part of this ask!
