              just how many times had people warned her to be careful about her daydreaming? honestly, tohru had lost count, and yet, the message still hadn’t stuck. she’d been lost in thought about things such as what she might fix for dinner when she managed to walk straight into someone. she froze for a moment, brain still processing just what had happened, before she let out a squeak and bowed deeply.      “ i’m so sorry! ”      she apologized, seemingly making no move to stand up straight.    “ i--i got caught up in my thoughts. ”

you are so lonely. you are miserable in your solitude. you hate that you cannot bring yourself to reach out, to ask for help. you will be forgotten by all who never knew you. your biggest fear is that you will die alone, and you know this fear will be seen to fruition. you refuse to extend yourself beyond the box that others put you in. and it is a box that no one dare come near. 

you are lonely because you are afraid of yourself.
