I did NOT forgor the 2 other guards in chapter 12, don't worry here they are!!
This is between pt. 11 and pt. 12
-------------------- 💀 -------------------
11.5 /???
Cato sicarius x f!reader
(They aren't even here)
Summary: Two battle brothers take their job very seriously
Cw: none
Word count: 500ish
Brother Brutus and Brother Gallan of the Ultramarines sat bored while their commander paced around fretfully. They were sent to help guard the Lady Ambassador of Guilliman, but, she'd run off. And there was really not much to do for them around this planet.
It was lush and green and safe, onlt rich nobles and agri-world workers around. It was extreme even that their Primarch sent three whole Astartes to guard one woman, but, their father had his quirks.
“Brother Gallan-” Brutus says after they'd been sitting for a while. “The Lady is not coming back soon. We should take a walk around the parameter. Secure the area.”
“Excellent idea, Brother Brutus.” Gallan said, climbing to his feet. “There could be unkown threats hidden in these leaves and plants.”
Brutus nodded, “It could be a tomb world, for all we know.”
Gallan nodded back. “Or hiding some sort of cult of chaos.” He added as they started walking around the resort.
Brutus gasped, “By the throne Brother, it could even be both!” He said urgently, prompting enthusiastic nods from Gallan.
The pair walked around the thick jungle a bit, carefully scanning for threats. They instead found a large party dock, a covered wooden platform running over the teal ocean. There was music and chatter and laughter coming from it.
The brothers shared a helmeted look.
“Could be a cult.” Gallan says.
“Could be slaneshi worshipers.” Brutus agrees.
“We must investigate discreetly, brother. Let us doff our armor, so we may see up close without causing suspicion.” Gallan suggests.
Brutus is already unbuckling his plates. “Excellent idea again, brother.” He agrees.
They unarmor themselves, peeling off their body sleeves, leaving their suits hidden in the foliage. They turn and glance at eachother in mirrored movements.
“By the throne, that is an excellent tropical shirt, brother, very practical for the climate.” Brutus says.
“I could predict you would say such a thing, as you are clearly wearing the same one, brother.” Gallan replies. “And it appears we both have excellent and practical tastes in khakis, brother.” He adds.
“Indeed brother, we are both dressed quite appropriately for the climate I would say.” Brutus says with a nod. “Come brother, let us ensure there is no heresy happening on that party platform.”
Gallan nods, donning sunglasses from a pocket on his cargo khakis. “Of course, and just in case the double suns of this planet are dangerous to the eyes-”
“Ahh, always a step ahead brother Gallan.” Brutus says with an admiring nod, pulling out sunglasses from his own khakis. “This is ehy I reccomend you for brother of the week.” He adds.
Gallan touches his chest, giving a small frown, “brother brutus, I nominated *you* for battle brother of the week!”
They stare at eachother a moment, then laugh and hook arms around eachother shoulders, walking to the party.
“By the throne, that punch looks tainted brother, we should investigate!”
“Again, always on top of things brother Gallan!”
Titus groans, watching the suns set and growing anxious about the ambassador. He stops for a moment, looking around. “…where the hell did those dumbasses get off to now?” He grumbles to himself.

Farmers are among the most vulnerable to the climate crisis, suffering from low crop yield, post-harvest losses, and depleting water reserves. At the same time, agriculture is the second-largest contributor to India’s greenhouse gas emissions, contributing 13.4% to the country’s total emissions, according to a Ministry of Environment report.
Most farmers heavily rely on fossil fuels such as diesel to run tractors, sowing and harvesting machines, electric water pumps, milking machines etc. Vimal Panjwani and his mother Shobha Chanchlani wanted to change that.
In June 2020, they launched AgriVijay in an effort to reduce farmers’ dependency on fossil fuels while increasing their incomes.
The Pune-based startup offers a marketplace for farmers to buy all renewable energy agri equipment including solar water pumps, bio-digesters and street lights—totalling 200+ products.
“AgriVijay is “empowering farmers for tomorrow” with renewable energy products in solar, biogas, and electricity,” says Panjwani, Founder & CEO.
Panjwani explains that the platform curates renewable and green energy products in a single marketplace, eliminating the need to source different functionalities from different vendors and install them externally.

Cal lore dump
you asked for this @systembug
words are hard and I might forget to include stuff so feel free to ask questions and thinfs. stuff under cut. also beware, there is drama and tragedy
physical discription, for things that don't show in art very much: Cal is Large, they were chubby as a baseline human and have maintained that general shape even through the process of augmentatin. four bladed legs and a pair of extra arms add some bulk as well. their 6 eye-lenses can be colour manipulated to emulate emotion, this aids in interacting with baseline humans. as a scholar of languages, they maintain organic airways. the rebreather can be removed to give access to their mouth. (the downside of this is they have developed a habit of stress-eating only to realise later that they do no longer have the digestive system to actually process the stuff they "ate" and having to clean out their systems). They have two servo-skulls made from goat skulls and a cyber-goat (it's like a cyber mastiff) that follows them around. it's a shredder for documents. Oh, yes, their robes are dark purple, hemmed in red.
Early life, pre joining the mechanicus:
Cal was recruited from an agri-world. this is where the goat skulls come from, they belonged to Cal's beloved pets that they refused to leave behind when the mechanicus recruited them. They were recruited for their talent with archeo- and xenolanguages
Training and life on Aberdeen-6:
Not much to say about Cal here because this was pretty standard fare. Instead, let me tell you about Aberdeen-6. My main fanmade forgeworld is Repleator. Cal is not from there. Instead they hail from Aberdeen-6, a forgeworld located far from any other systems, bordering the void of space. The planet has pridominant trading connections to the space shark marine chapter, and relies strongly on their archeotech. as to why they are out there in the void? they're using spykic energy to power their generators. the planet has a strangely high number of psykers born among their ranks, and they send them out to platforms in the void (where they will not accidentally destroy the planet if a deamon gets summoned) to harness their energy. it is unsure if this is entirely throne-sanctioned. Cal is loyalist, though, in case that needs to be specified.
life as a Magos Dominus:
Despite being a scholar first and foremost, Cal eventually found themselves being pushed into the role of a military leader. Aberdeen-6 was short on those in an attempt to protect the planet from an encroaching threat. Cal underwent all of the augmentations needed for a dominus to thrive on the battlefield: their mechadendrites were fitted with tasers, they were given a pair of extra arms that had guns instead of hands, and the bladed legs to move without bounce for steadier aim. They also got the noospheric connection to their skitarii, connecting them to their vid-feeds and allowing for tactical taking control if the need arises. Caledon although pretty softhearted, did surprisingly well. Their campaigns were not as quick or efficient as others, but they consistently brought back their troops with minimal losses and the morale in these troops was consistently higher than anywhere else. They even became a parental figure to their skitarii alpha, Rho, though Rho might have wished it to be more than that.
This came to an end when they suffered a thundering defeat, wiping their ranks. Cal will never forget seeing their skitarii die before them and feeling them disconnect from the noosphere while their vid-feed goes dark. They have a lot of survivor's guild about this, and their internal systems still occasionally send out connection requests for skitarii that will never be able to heed the call again. Caledon stepped down from the position as a magos dominus and had their body rebuild to be more suited to work as a lexmechanic.
Working as a Lexmechanic:
their proclivity with archeo and xenolanguage became cal's main tool of the trade as they transitioned away from the battlefield. their brain was augmented to be able to process multiple feeds of information at once. This also removed their need for true sleep: different aspects of Cal's brain will take turns to perform sleep functions. Cal now spends almost all their time in the archives, translating and transcribing sources. They are key in aiding explorator fleets to translate their findings, as well as help current magi understand writing on stc fragments.
It was while working on one of these that Cal encountered the scared and mentally broken Intervallum, a skitarius (oc belongs to @thatspacecato). Cal, upon seeing this skittle, in fear and distress basically went "no. not this one. I will protect this one" and intervallum has been hanging around them ever since. I will not elaborate on skittle lore much more, because I feel like that's not my place, but yeah
I think that's about everything there is to say about Cal, feel free to send asks or something if you wish :D

Summary:
Obi-Wan's dreams of becoming a Jedi are crushed when he gets sent to the planet Bandomeer to join the Agri-Corpse. After getting captured and enslaved to work on a deep-sea mining platform he is saved by Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker.
Anakin is sent to the planet Bandomeer to assist Master Qui-Gon Jinn against the dark Jedi Xanatos. He didn't expect to meet Obi-Wan Kenobi. Impressed by the boy's skill Anakin decides to take him on as his apprentice and together they return to Coruscant to begin Obi-Wan's training.
6 Years Later:
Anakin Skywalker receives a distress call from an old friend. He and his padawan set off to the planet Naboo to save Senator Padme Amidala from the Trade Federation's invading forces. It's suppose to be a simple rescue mission, but as always nothing is ever simple when Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi are involved. Matters are further complicated by the growing rift between Master and Apprentice. As secrets are brought to light and new enemies make their appearance both Anakin and Obi-Wan will need to face truths neither of them expected or dared to hope for.

| Antipodal- (Wrecker x Jedi!oc) |
Summary: Kei'ara and Wolffe have one last spar, and Master Plo greets the Batch upon their arrival. Warnings: none I don't think?
Wordcount: 750+
Notes:
This is pre-Echo to begin with (but don't worry he's a-comin')
I think I've added all the appropriate warnings and tags but if I've missed something or tagged it incorrectly feel free to let me know and I'll fix it asap!
Beautiful dividers by @eloquentmoon
-One-
Chests heaving in near synchronicity neither party showed any sign that they would yield anytime soon.
Despite the thick blindfold that blocked her vision Kei'ara Agri moved with grace and precision as though she could see all the same. Hands bound behind her back, she jumped atop a moving platform with ease. A grin split her lips at the subtle sound of her opponent letting out a dissatisfied grunt at her evasive manoeuvre.
Below her, clad in that telltale plastoid armour stood Commander Wolffe, training blaster in hand. Aiming once again he fired another series of stun rounds in a vane attempt to hit the newly knighted Jedi to no avail. Regardless of the scoff that escaped the confines of his throat as she evaded his attack once again, Wolffe had a similar grin of his own dancing on his lips beneath his bucket, a prideful glint in his eyes at Kei'ara's successful moves.
"How long have they been at it?" Boost Asked, settling between Sinker and Comet on the observation deck.
Comet shrugged in response. He hadn't been there from the beginning, only having joined Sinker after stumbling across him in his search for the Commanders- or more accurately their Commander and the new General. It still felt a little odd addressing Kei'ara as General rather than Commander but regardless he, and the entirety of the 104th, was proud of their vod'ika's accomplishment.
"Fifty-three minutes," Sinker enlightened his brothers without shifting his focus in the slightest. "Wolffe's got her on the ropes."
Boost snickered. His reason for coming to the observation deck is long forgotten now. "That's what you said last time and Kei'ara still won, vod."
"First time for everything," Comet hummed, leaning forward against the railing.
Completely consumed by the ongoing spar, all three troopers were oblivious to their comms flashing one after the other.
Plo Koon let out yet another quiet sigh.
He should have seen this coming really- this wasn't the first time something like this had happened. Having to wrangle the boy of the 104th out of the observation deck to tend to their duties was an all too common occurrence for the Kel Dorian. Finding his wolfpack tucked away in the cramped space, bets flying as they watched their Commanders sparing sessions had become something of a tradition for them.
His boy's inability to not get distracted was perhaps something he should have expected. Surrendering to the knowledge that his men wouldn't be answering their comms anytime soon, the Jedi Master turned to the small cluster of clones to his left in quiet defeat. "It seems we'll have to go to them instead Sergeant."
The Sergeant in question nodded, wordlessly telling the other three members of his squad to follow the General. Toothpick shifting between his lips, one of the men went to no doubt grumble earning himself a look warning from the Sergeant as they moved. Swallowing his remark with a roll of his eyes, the trooper followed his squad and the General in silent dislike.
"My apologies," Master Plo offered as he led them through the facility. "I should have foreseen General Agri being late for your arrival, I do hope you won't hold it against her, though I suspect there is little chance of such regardless of my words."
"Of course, General," Hunter nodded.
A few more turns passed before the Kel Dorian came to a halt at one of the many clone training rooms. The door slid open with a muted hiss to reveal a session seemingly underway. Neither participant offer the newcomers so much as a glance, not that the female's blindfolded state would have allowed for such anyways.
"Commander Wolffe," Plo Koon called out, drawing the clone's attention to himself. "Might I interrupt your spar for a moment?"
"Of course, General," The Commander responded dutifully, holstering the blaster quickly.
As the two spoke, the Commander's sparring partner made quick work of scaling her way back down from the hovering platform she had been perched upon. Despite her clear impediments, she jumped from platform to platform with ease, steps unwavering as she went. Landing back on solid ground with grace, the woman was quick to shrug off her binds and pull the blindfold free.
"Master Plo," A gentle smile pulled at her pale lips. Looking past the Kel Dorian to inspect the four clones behind him, her smile only seemed to grow. "You've brought guests."
"Yes," He nodded, stepping aside and gesturing toward the small squad that accompanied him. "Allow me to introduce Clone Force 99."

Addressing Response to Customer Difficulties: Starting Point
What are the common problems encountered by CMU students nowadays?
In this journal, you will learn about our journey of finding problems and how we were able to come up with this particular product in order to achieve a more efficient and productive academic life for college students.
The first thing we did during the first week was to create a plan on how we will conduct our interview and how many prospective people we need including the college they should be from. The team agreed on making interviews by pair; one person will do the asking while the other will do the documentation.
After some interviews, we gathered all the information and shared it together with other members.
After giving it some thought, we took notes of the problems raised and created possible solutions to each of them. The next day, we interviewed another group of people for further investigation. The following is the summarization of the data gathered from respondents.
Data Gathered:
2 males (Agriculture Students) — lack of trash bins in Agri benches.
1 male (from CAS) — lack of trash bins and CR (no water)
1 female (from CFES) — CMU market is too far for printing documents.
1 female (from CBM) — CMU market is too far for printing documents.
2 female (Graduate students) — Financial problem.
1 female (from CVM) — CMU market is too far.
1 female (from COEd) — Slow internet.
5 females (from CAS) — Lack of benches.
A total of 14 customers are interviewed.
And then we all gathered together to brainstorm and discuss our possible plans.
In consideration of the datas we have gathered while conducting interviews, we noticed that there was a diverse array of problems from our customers' answers. The group decided to formulate possible solutions to the problems while also considering the opportunity to profit. The most significant one was financial problems, our chosen solution for this was to construct or create a platform for a marketplace where we will play the role of a broker. It aims to give opportunities for students to:
Dispose of their old possessions through selling second-hand items(books, print-outs, yoga mats, swimsuits, etc.)
Allows them to buy items at a lesser price.
Easy access for available boarding houses in the area.
However, it requires a lot of estimations and assumptions and we found out that Central Mindanao University already has an online marketplace.
Another best alternative we are able to formulate was the solution to the distance of the University Market in regards to printing services. We came up with the decision to choose the printing problems to be addressed. After considering other variables, the team has made an idea of providing a self-service, coin-generated, vendo printing machine rather than using a regular printer which needs someone to operate and provide assistance for all the time. It is super convenient and can be less hassle since we only need to provide maintenance for it for once in a while. For that cause, we did research if this product is available in the market or is yet to be created.
To find out that it is currently unavailable in the local market, we are advised to manufacture the product ourselves, because formulating it on our own and managing its service function would dampen the fixed cost, causing us to hardly match the value of the product in the value the customers can afford to give which can dampen the possibility of profitability. With that in plan, we established steps to properly manufacture the product and as to where we will market it.
The group formulated the following measures:
Collaborate with people with expertise in the making of the product (IT technicians/ Engineers)
Interview experts as to the costs of manufacture, the processes and licenses needed to manufacture the product.
Have the estimation as to the possibility of profitability or determine the economic value of the product in a certain point of time.
Make a model or prototype of the product, as to the process of using it.
Devise a clear plan on whom to sell the product.
To conclude:
Team work and Cooperation with the team
Work with Unity, and Diverse Perspective
Adaptability
Constructive feedback
Having this kind of behavior and attitude makes the team create a unique and successful product and/or service, it also helps the students life easier in terms of printing their outputs. Moreover, the team should not waste time on thinking of innovative ideas that can be useful not only for students but also a product and/or services that we can still benefit in the future.

I’m not going to lie, as a vet student in an agri uni, as in someone who learns and works this shit, your posts are so wrong it’s almost funny. My favourite is the using a calf as ah image of a ‘happy milking cow’. Ftr 50% or so of the US dairy herd are continuously housed
Please do some proper research into the industry and stop glorifying it, even pro animal agricultural people need to acknowledge there’s downside and harm to some practices, you just need to make an argument the pros of animal ag our weight the cons, if you won’t even acknowledge the cons, or acknowledge animal agriculture beyond idyllic children’s book versions, you can’t make an effective argument
Well first off. The U.S is not the whole world? I’m not American either. Which never fails to amuse me, there are animals in other countries! I would have assumed you would understand that and how not all methods or regulations are the same from place to place. If you know one small area.. that doesn’t mean the entire world practices the same methods as your small area does.
I live in Canada. Northern Canada at that. Our summers are basically 2 months long and yet we do allow the animals outside. Even in winter! As a “vet student”. You should know that a happy content animal will stay where it is most comfortable. That’s a sign of good management and proper comfort levels. Non stop food, deep comfortable bedding. Plenty of warmth/coolness as they desire. Even as a person wouldn’t you prefer to be at home then play outside? Certainly the animals can go out but studies have proven so much the animals enjoy being inside and with the increase in dairy production to show this, we’ve slowly moved to inside only. Like the current wfh movement. If you can work from home why wouldn’t you? Same as animals.
As a “vet student” you have a very negative look onto the animals you will be treating one day so I’m not sure why you are in that line of work? As a “vet student” you know you will have to deal with all aspects of farming and pet care that will be unpleasant. But must be done for the sake of the animals. You dislike farming but your ok with backyard breeders? The current trend of poorly bred deformed animals for cuteness? But your platform for change is, well cared for dairy cows and farming methods you don’t understand yet? Eating animals? Eating a beef bred cow that’s never knows hunger or pain is worse to you then a crippled cat that’s kept alive with constant meds and human intervention? How else will the cats you treat be fed? They do need meat .. unless you haven’t reached the part that vegan fed cats live shorter lives with far more health issues then meat fed, that part of the curriculum will be covered in the nutrition course, as well as the long term effects part. As eyesight, liver failure, musculoskeletal issues and so forth are all affected by diet.. have you been over the sources and causes for rickets yet? This will be a factor you’ll learn.
Snakes? Lizards? Mice raised for pet food consumption is another method of farming you know. Unless small animal lives are not a concern? I know for many activists they are only a concern if they are in large numbers in a facility somewhere as farming methods that kill them are not a concern as long as it’s for crops that feed people.
I’ve never glamorized farming. I’m honest about the issues and troubles when asked. But I’m also going to call out people that assume they understand farming because they read a few things online and watched a video, thinking that makes them able to understand all aspects of farming when they’ve never stepped foot on a farm or even seen an animal up close. Like in this situation, I’ll happily take advice from my vet. But not the “vet student” as the vet has learned and has experience.. the student is learning and needs an open mind to do so.

In Liberia, we hold one truth to be self-evident: If one has not eaten rice on any given day, then one has not eaten. Well, at least that is the conventional theory that has driven food policy and planning for the last 60 years.
Rice is Liberia’s staple food, and our contemporary history has been completely shaped by rice: Its availability on the local market, price, and, to a lesser extent, quality. Since 1979, when government plans to raise tariffs on imported rice caused deadly riots, and eventually a coup d’état, public policy has favored imports over locally produced rice.
Fast forward to 2022, and it’s 4Cs: COVID-19, Climate, Conflict, and Commodity price escalations. Four simultaneous and intensifying shocks, at a time when we have not fully recovered from the previous shock of Ebola.
And here is another incontrovertible truth: Liberians’ dogged reliance on imported food is not sustainable. The looming food security crisis is an opportunity to finally tackle rice availability on three main fronts: Boosting smallholder production; taking agribusiness micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) to scale; and attracting commercial agri-food enterprises.
Since we have ostensibly been doing just these things for years, now is the time to innovate the “how” of agri-food production. The “innovation” is simple: Enhance what is working, what is familiar and help farmers and businesses to produce more, faster, cheaper—and get surpluses to market. The technologies exist to do this.
Take rice. President Weah has set up a National Rice Stabilization Task Force to ensure constant availability of rice in our markets. We have set a national goal to grow 75 percent of what we consume in four cropping seasons: A 150 percent increase in production over what we are doing now.
In setting these targets, we considered the production realities of our smallholders. Realizing the adoption of yield improving technologies has been poor, and rarely sustained past project-end, we are resolving some of the challenges brought on by limited capital and labor for any given piece of land: Improving weed and pest management on farms; post-harvest processing capacities at village level (to optimize use); and access to markets and digital buying platforms. Couple these with solutions that enhance food and nutrition security, water, and energy at community level.
We work with MSMEs along the value chain to grow or build and service and maintain the seeds, tools, and equipment needed to produce, package, transport, and market rice to urban consumers. The Liberia Agricultural Commercialization Fund is providing critical financing to innovations that service food markets and helping rice processors to scale up operations.
We are building our knowledge base and creating business profiles to attract private investments.
The global food security crisis compels Liberia to draw on its legendary resilience and creativity. We are intentional about getting rice right. And we will.
