I wanted to try my hand at animation and decided some scribbly walk and run cycles would be a fun way to do it. I’ve always liked to imagine that, based on Soundwave’s body structure and the fact that he’s already a delightfully eldritch cryptid of a Cybertronian, he could walk and run on all fours with ease.

OKAY SO IN REFERENCE TO YOUR TAGS ON MY BIPEDAL RAVAGE ART (scary, girl get back on ur paws), i imagine her being bigger than the twins!! i fucked up the scale w/ her and tailgate (she should be taller than that i just. forgor to fix it), but she's a bit bigger than most mini-bots but not Quite as tall as someone like rung. she's in an awkward middle-ground 😔

I WAS THINKING THE SAMEEE She’s already a big girl when she’s on all fours so she definitely seems like she’d be taller than the twins when she stands on her back legs (perfect height to smack them upside the head).

I really like that idw has different heights for minibots (like you can be teenie tiny like cassette bots, sort of a middle ground like Swerve and Tailgate or a little on the taller side like Bumblebee and Cosmos) so I was kinda thinking of her being more taller than Tailgate height but not as tall as Bumblebee height.

Anyways yes bipedal ravage scares me if I saw her I’d scream so loud bbg I love you so bad please get back down on your paws before I start crying

Anyhoo this is my silly you saw in that post I made earlier! Yeaup that's her alright! In all her blue gumball sonuvabitch glory. That's her‼️ SPOOF!!!!

This art is old I made it a couple months ago not so proud of how I went about rendering it, but the angle is nice and the colors are scrumptious! This design of Spoof is SLIGHTLY behind in the newer design of her. All that's changed is her antennae thickness and her sharp girlypop lashes !

Spoof is a young, feisty, silly, mischievous yet manipulative juvenile. She immaturely mature, she's aloof, witty, cunning, clever yet overly complicated in problem solving.

I do kinda think "Border Collie people" are ruining dog agility.

They have made agility into a superfastspeed game and want to strip away all the challenges that require control and speed adjustment. The chute obstacle was "too dangerous" for dogs running at speed! The table was "too dangerous" because their dogs had to "slam to a stop." There's pressure to remove the teeter. There's discussion of whether the contacts are actually necessary. There's talk that curved tunnels are unsafe for fast dogs ... How long before they strip everything away to make it a jumps-and-straight-tunnels racing game? Can't have anything that slows down a dog! Can't have anything that would be "dangerous" to do at speed because they CAN'T slow down their dog.

They love to say "not every sport needs to be for every dog" in defense of making courses faster, bigger, etc. But HATE the idea that maybe agility isn't for dogs who can't control their speed enough to perform the more challenging obstacles. Agility should not be only about speed! Part of the challenge IS the different obstacles, adjusting speed, collecting and lengthening stride, etc. Safety is super duper important, but I don't believe removing all the challenge from the sport is necessary to play safe.

bones please spare some isaac facts...tell me about the vibes and lore and everything you want. also what's his fave blood type to drink if he has one perhaps..(i'm taking notes)

HEHEHE THANK YOU SM i have so much to say about this man. but also he hasn't existed for very long in my brain yet so there's still many things missing from his lore currently. but here is a start for you :^)

isaac is a couple centuries old by now and from a (currently unnamed) bloodline that's a bit different from other bloodlines. all vampires have double fangs, their puncture fangs which are the regular ones they use to draw blood with, and their venomous fangs, which only come out when they want to change someone. for isaac's bloodline, the venomous fangs are a lot smaller which makes them less painful to extend and the process is quicker; but at the same time, even the smallest mistake in dosage could kill a victim rather than change them. this is why his bloodline is very small in comparison to others and changing a human into a vampire is always done in a big ritual rather than on impulse, to make sure they get the right dosage. this is how isaac was turned into a vampire :(

his bloodline is also more likely to have their feral sense (uncontrollable mode in which they hunt for blood until they're no longer feral) activated which is why they have to feed regularly and CANNOT miss any meals unlike other bloodlines who can usually miss a meal or two. their feral sense can sneak up on them without a warning and it will cause them to go feral until either their hunger or their "urge" (something vamps get sometimes when they want to change other humans. it's like a vampire ovulation) is sated. this is why many vampires of isaac's bloodline are pretty rich or important people who have other vampires working for them to provide them with enough blood so they'll never go feral by accident

isaac is VERY different from his bloodline though. he grew up in a modest family somewhere in the east of the united states and after he was turned he hid himself away in an old abandoned chapel for many many years, feeding on wildlife and the occasional unfortunate soul who wandered too far into the woods. he ended up hunted down by heavenly, my other oc for this story, who is a vampire hunter but at that point was still very young and on his first ever vampire hunt without his father; heavenly was unable to kill isaac and let him go, after which isaac moved to jericho :]

jericho is a big city on the west coast of the united states and it's essentially a vampire hub, in the sense that the government knows about the existence of vampires but isn't telling the general public but the general public tends to also know about the existence of vampires but it's also not uncommon to come across people who've never heard of them. but at the same time it's also not a huge shock to find out that vampires exist. and in jericho there's many of them and it's like a safe haven for them. am i making sense here

anyway isaac runs a church in jericho now! it's less used as an actual church and more just a homeless shelter and general shelter and community center and food bank AND blood bank all in one, for humans and vampires alike, and he's a very important member of the community he lives in :^) he really wants to help people and improve lives despite the reputation of his bloodline

it's at the same time pretty dangerous for him to be in such a lively place because if he misses a meal even once he could go on a murderous rampage. but it's a risk he's willing to take, knowing he's making a difference and not wanting people to lose their stability in life because he decides to leave or something like that

i don't have much for the story yet but the idea is that heavenly shows up in jericho give or take 2-3 decades after first meeting isaac and they reunite :^) heavenly ends up helping isaac with the blood shortage crisis and also ends up as his personal blood bag because he's a freak and a weirdo who likes getting his blood sucked by vampires. and also he's gay for isaac. and i get him. me too

Well tonight's practice did not fill me with confidence.

We treated runs like the real thing and had classmates in the ring. On our first run Forte broke his start line sit to circle the person who threw the piggy for him last week, looking for it.

It took an embarrassing effort to get him back.

Our second run he hit the contacts but blew through them instead of stopping for 2on2off. I went back each time and made him stop but it took several attempts.

And our last run was better in terms of performance but I was super anxious and the instructor called me out on sounding too stern. Which, fair. This is supposed to be a fun game we are playing together.

My plan is to not bring the piggy in from the car at all for the trial. I'm going to try to let go of any feelings of embarrassment and just figure we'll NQ.

It's an opportunity to practice in a different environment since I expect it will be far busier than practices. But at least it's at our club so there will be some familiarity.

At the end of the day, a Q is not more important than maintaining positivity both for Forte and for myself.

I am glad I only signed up for two runs a day and two days. I think trying for four runs in a day or three days, even with only two runs, would be too much for me.

This is a reminder to myself to take deep breaths and not let my anxiety get the better of me. We both enjoy playing agility and it would be foolish to sour it with putting too much pressure on either of us.
