Ada Cackle for the character ask

How I feel about this character: I LOVE HER WITH MY WHOLE BEING! Sincerely one of my fave characters of all time.

All the people I ship romantically with this character: Hecate is her wife and one true love thank you very much. I think in her youth she either had an unrequited crush on Mona Spellbody or it was requited until Mona met Maud’s grandad/realized Ada’s dedication to the school would be so essential in the future.

My non romantic OTP for this character: It’s a toss up between Ada and Dimity and Ada and Gwen.

My unpopular opinion about this character: I don’t think she’s as terrible a teacher as a lot of fandom thought. I think the show made some writing decisions that were questionable and bc the show was written to be from the POV of the children, the teachers need a high level of incompetency so the children can save the day.

One thing I wish had happened in canon with this character: I wish she and Hecate had hugged at some point. I also wish we’d gotten a better resolution with her and Agatha. The ending was needlessly cruel. We didn’t have to redeem Agatha but damn didn’t need to kill her either.
