I hate putting any effort into food prep in the morning, so before I leave for work I just have a peanut butter sandwich, and then when I get to my desk I'll snack on clementines until I have lunch.

I loved a lot of books I read in college tbh, but due to the fact that I am gay and a Greek mythology kid, I think I have to give a shoutout to both of the Anne Carson books I was assigned. The first is If Not, Winter, which is Carson's translation of all extant Sappho fragments, and the second is of course Autobiography of Red. Also I'm not sure if it's cheating or not to mention graphic novels, but One! Hundred! Demons by Lynda Barry. Changed my fucken life

16. Do theoretical ethical debates have any value? Is it important people discuss ethical dilemmas, e.g. the trolley problem?

I think they’re valuable insofar as they can* teach people how to think critically about a problem. Sometimes they have no “right” answer, and being confronted with that and the question of whether to minimize suffering can show a philosophy student some of the tools/angles necessary to consider and make decisions about real ethical issues in a meaningful way.

*that being said, if the student isn’t paying attention or they have a poor teacher, they might not understand that to be the question at hand, and instead might decide there’s a “right” answer to the debate if only they consider it hard enough.

24. Do you think you really understand your gender and sexuality?

I think I understand it enough to take care of it. My gender is always going to have corners I can’t keep clean, because the world is going to continue to make demands of me and my presentation that I’m not prepared for or that I’m unwilling to meet.

my sexuality is kind of a null question, I’m ace and it really only comes up in the context of someone wanting to interact with me sexually. the rest of the time I just enjoy being single.

25. How fluid is your concept of gender and sexuality?

Very. don’t assume you know who I am or what I like based on one facet of me, because even I can’t assume I know without experiencing it. some things are great! some things suck. It’s case-by-case and it changes with the tides.

65. What age should people be allowed to vote? Should children and teenagers be allowed to vote?

I’m fine with 18 y/o being the voting age. There’s a possible argument to be made for 16 y/os to vote, but I could see that becoming an excuse to regard 16 y/os as legal adults and I’m not sure what kind of ramifications that would result in.

66. How do you feel about the idea ‘an eye for an eye’?

don’t like it. I understand the impulse to get retribution, but I don’t think it’s productive. I am growing, and I plan to grow into a person that the people who hurt me will never know. If I decided to devote myself to getting back at people, I’d never have time for anyone or anything else, and I’d make an ass of myself in the process. I’d rather keep moving forward.

no. I don’t think anyone is. I think we’re all more than the sum of the perceptions held about us.

92. Do you speak multiple languages? Which do you dream in? What language would you want to learn?

yo hablo un poco español, pero nunca practico normalmente. quiero hablar mejor, pero, y tengo programas y podcasts en español a ver/oir mas. yo sueno en inglés cuando yo sueno, pero no sueno mucho en nada idioma. quiero apprender aleman y hebreo, pero despues de aprendo mas español jajaja

(I speak a little spanish, but I normally never practice. I want to speak better, though(?), and I have tv shows and podcasts in spanish to watch/listen to more. I dream in english when I dream, but I don’t dream much in any language. I want to learn german and hebrew, but after I learn more spanish hahaha)

I’m mainly a fan of green teas! White teas are also good, and herbal teas can be good (some just end up a little over the top, but that can be said about any type of tea), but I’m not usually the most fond of black teas just because I forget about them and they get bitter. Not to say I won’t drink them too; it just has to be during a meal or something when I won’t forget.

I’ve mentioned it before, but one of my favorite teas is actually Celestial Seasoning’s Morning Thunder, which is a black tea with maté. It really smooths out the tea and honestly it never gets bitter, no matter how long I wait.

On a similar note, it’s worth mentioning that I don’t usually like putting things in my teas, like sugar, honey, or milk.

Tbh nothing to insane. Again I don’t see myself getting married anytime soon really but I want something simple maybe??? Maybe outside or a half inside and then move to the outside? There’s times I’ve thought of a wedding near a really big forest where it’s one of those large natural pathways that are just stunningly gorgeous with the rivers in the distance but idk 😂

Yes!! I get shy though so sometimes I don’t dance and I kinda just awkwardly sway or tap my foot to the beat like a doofus.

I think I’m a good model, truthfully. I know thats subjective, but I have an eye for space, and control of my body, and I put time and work into becoming more and more dynamic which of course is a process I’m still in but I think it’s definitely something I’m proud of how much I’ve been able to achieve and yknow, when photographers like me, and people are encouraged by my work, or I get recommended or a job or hired, it kinda affirms that I’m doing something right so I guess I don’t feel too bad about being proud of that

cream cheese, lox, capers, and onions! I like everything bagels and sometimes I get bagels specifically so I can eat lox on them. One of my favorites.

Oooh, probably the Hera mug that my friend gave me (idk if she wants to be named), it’s a good mug and a good quote and it always makes me so happy to use it

Herbal! Fruity teas confuse my mouth, since I usually drink tea without milk/sugar/substitutes of either kind! So I’ll drink a raspberry tea or something, and be like “why do you taste sweet there’s no sugar in you :(”

Zatarain’s is actually a food and spice mix company based in New Orleans, known especially for their rice and meal mixes, but I’m specifically talking about their creole seasoning. It naturally goes great on rice, and works to add some spice to Dad’s breakfast burrito mix, but I put it in a lot of other diishes. Like broth, buttered noodles, french fries, and even noodles in Alfredo sauce (which I’m eating right now). Just...watch your sodium levels when you use it.

It’s one of Mom’s and my favorite seasonings, and just goes great in eggs and hash browns.
