Myself Akira Hasashi AKA Deviant Fish. Second in command in the fish army. Leader of the Order of the Blue Croissant. Demiboy environmentalist and fish respecter. Persona non-anthropomorphic silver trout with mechanical limbs. has magnetic powers, including magneto-kinetic flight. I'm a shark-hunting species with water-breathing gear. My persona is featured prominently in Aggregate Fiction (AF). They are a Gen-3, triple-class, neutral-stat-balanced character.

Another conlang gender idea is having animate/inanimate gender split into animal/vegetable/mineral but it developed under a taxonomic understanding similar to the ancient world where people thought that e.g. coral and fungi were "plants" and now every biology teacher has to struggle to be like "I know it really *feels like* a coral should be a plant but it's actually an animal" because the word for coral inflects like a plant does, but most of the bio teachers can't even tell why this is so difficult because your own native language's inflection patterns are often invisible to you if you haven't had them specifically pointed out or studied other languages.

Beast Race:

Avifish -

A species of anthropomorphic fish having the ability of prolonged flight. Due to their unique situation the Avifish were the first to develop breathing gear that enabled aquatic races to live on the land, though due to the Tunamorph's oxygen manipulation skills Avifish were not in fact the first waterbreathers on land, though their invention has been invaluable to aquatic races ever since. Being one of the earlier aquatic land races their people held a rather significant seat of power at least as far as representing the sea during situations of land-based politics. For this they were often praised by seafolk as being the ones to speak their voice for them. Even today their people hold a lot of political power though since the Huulander Conquest it has been diluted by the many representatives of lifeforms with particular needs. The average joe Avifish however rarely has concerns over politics. Known for being impulsive thrill-seekers despite their intellectual skills they are more concerned with day to day life with most individuals hoping that one day they'll take the plunge and become an adventurer though most are rather satisfied with modern comforts and entertainment and lack the motivation to really do anything of significance with their life. Fast and acrobatic their flight skills can even put many avian races to shame. High flyers often wear goggles to prevent their eyes drying out. Low on endurance and strength they can be injured rather easily. What they lack in power they make up for in quick-thinking and general athetic ability. Despite often wanting to shine above others they are most comfortable in groups if their ego will let them be a team player.
