Hey I graduated and got my master's lets upload some old lore art descriptions below
Theodosia and Agatha are a pair of old married lesbians who own a small casino in the Grunge, the lower-income area of Dimopolis where Trouble was born. Trouble is not their biological daughter; Trouble was actually a result of an affair between her human bio mom and a suave devilling man who she met playing cards of all things. Trouble's relationship with her bio family is strenuous at best- and abusive at worst- so she was often found roaming the streets on her lonesome, scrounging up whatever coin she could find for food. Old, down-on-their-luck casinos are surprisingly good for that. After months of Trouble hanging around turned into years, she eventually began to see Thea and Aggie as more of her parents than her actual parents. When she turned 18 and had her name legally changed, she also went through the trials of taking their last name as well. Hence, Mallorette Finch became Trouble Pennison.
Thea is the bartender and the one who handles their finances. She's pretty surly-looking to people who don't know her well, and that's because she has her eyes on everyone. Trouble might excel at reading people, But Thea is the master. Nothing gets past her, partially thanks to her elven heritage. She uses that power for good, keeping them from getting robbed and recognizing when one of her customers is having a bad day. Trouble calls her Mop, a combination of mom and pop, because in her words, 'she's the twinkiest butch I've ever seen.'
Aggie handles the entertainment side of the casino. She chooses what games they host when and where and how often, as well as the in-house entertainment. When she was younger, that entertainment was often her- she's a beautiful singer and pianist. It was Aggie who taught Trouble how to sing, noticing that she could carry a tune well enough and needed some outlet for the trauma of her childhood. Trouble took to it like a fish to water, and the two often sing or play together. Aggie is called Maman, the French term for mama.
-----
Muffy's parents have owned a daycare since before she was born, known as the Tiny Dreamers Care Center. They genuinely love children, and have gotten to the point where their former charges are now bringing their little ones by to be watched. Her parents love this, and can think of nothing else they want to spend the rest of their lives doing. Muffy is of a different persuasion. Always the stoic one, even when she was a child, Muffy helped out without complaint. Her parents don't know that she's not as keen about the daycare as they are, and Muffy doesn't intend to let them know, not while she doesn't know what she wants at least.
Her father Percy is a gentle but practical man, doing the busy work, the diapers, the feeding, all the hustle and bustle that people think of when they think of childcare. He doesn't mind though. In fact, the consistency of the job 'keeps him young', as it were. He loves his little Muffle-Puffle, and he's so excited that she's been going out more with her little friend.
Her mother Hannah is the teacher, always going about and making sure the kids are learning during their play. The daycare doesn't technically offer preschool services, but Hannah thinks that all kids learn best while playing. She's the montessori teacher modern parents long for. She always gets so excited when she gets updates on her past charges.
------
Like Trouble, Posy and her brother Franz are adopted, though they were adopted when they were children (first Franz when he was seven, and then Posy when she was six. They are about twelve years apart in age). When Posy was nine and Franz was finishing up college, their adoptive father walked out on them without much fanfare (Posy is really fond of 'dad went for the milk' jokes even though they hit pretty close to home). Franz immediately stepped up, not wanting his little sister landed back in foster care or worse, and so he took over as her legal guardian, moving the two out to Dimopolis after graduating and landing a job in social work.
Franz is an angelic, which is essentially the opposite of a devilling, and his skin always feels a little cool to the touch. Franz is an especially hard worker, always the first to get his stuff done so he can go watch his sister in whatever show she's gotten herself into. He's the only one of their family who doesn't mind that Posy has steered away from academics, despite the fact that she was a bit of a child genius. He and Posy have a strong bond akin to Spencer and Carly from iCarly; she'll never say as much, but Posy views Franz more like her father than anyone else.
------
Prescyne was born as the half-elven daughter of Silvyr Traist, the owner of a massive company that hails out of Vincence, another major city. Her mother went missing when she was barely a year old, and she didn't know it until she was much older. As far as the public knew, Prescyne's mother was an elven woman who died of cancer, preferring to stay out of the limelight due to the nature of her condition. Prescyne was his 'pride and joy', his little doll, always prim and perfect, just as she was expected to be. Children were to be seen and not heard, and only seen when it was desired. And Prescyne acted the part because she didn't know anything else. She was miserable.
When she was almost of age, her uncle gave her an out, getting her on the train to Dimopolis. She doesn't talk much about her past, but it comes out in some of her music. She HATES her father, hates how he stifled her and quite literally snuffed out her flame. She's pretty sure her father is responsible for her mom's disappearance, if not responsible for her possible murder. Frankly, her father scares her, but her time in Dimopolis has made her confidence skyrocket just enough that she can ignore it... for the most part.

CHAMPIONSHIPS 01: PALMETTO STATE FOXES vs. UC DAVIS AGGIES
PRE-GAME
The Foxes arrive at the Aggies’ court an hour before first serve, donning their orange-on-white away uniforms and trying to keep their nerves at bay.
On the court, it’s clear that the Foxes are far from home and in enemy territory: there is almost no Fox Orange to be found in the stands, save for the Vixens. As they run through their pre-game routines, they find it difficult to make a dent in the cheers of the blue and gold-clad hometown crowd, egged on by their own cheerleaders and the Aggies’ mustang mascot.
Half an hour before first serve, the Foxes are allowed onto the court for a brief warm-up. They line up in order of position—Strikers, then Dealers, then Backliners, then Goalkeepers, with Grant and Claudia in the front as Captain and Vice-Captain.
If they needed another reminder that it’s the Championships, where everything is more serious, there seems to be double the press present: the inner court outside the Plexiglass is crowded with cameras, and the press section is teeming with reporters—and, they can assume, some professional scouts.
Once warm-ups are done, Grant and the Aggies’ captain meet at center court for the coin toss that will determine who gets first serve. The Foxes win, and the starting players enter the court for the start of the game.
Red Cards: Glory Hoskins, Grayson Sharpe
Scratched: N/A
Injuries: N/A
FIRST HALF
STARTING LINEUP:
Goalkeeper: Grant Rollins (Sub: Emmett Ashford)
Dealers: Claudia Jewell (Subs: Olivia Finch, Louis Granger)
Strikers: Brayden Sykes, Arlo Booth (Sub: Akira Sato)
Backliners: Sydney McCray, Sterling Walsh
The players take their starting positions, and Claudia serves to start play.
The Aggies are able to beat out Brayden and Arlo to take possession, and turn quickly up the court to put Grant to an early test—but he holds strong.
Sterling and an Aggies striker race for the rebound, and as they get to the ball at the same time Sterling fells the striker with a hard hip check that leaves him on the court floor, cradling his knee.
Play is halted and the Aggies striker is helped to hobble off the court with teammates supporting his weight. The crowd is restless with the delay as the referees confer—and then they’re furious when play resumes without any penalties being awarded.
Claudia serves to restart play and Arlo is there to receive it, sidestepping a backliner along the wall to avoid a hit.
Arlo passes to Brayden who, with some quick footwork, is able to create just enough space to score—the first point of the night.
At the pause in play, Wymack sends in his subs: Emmett for Grant; Sasha for Claudia; and Akira for Brayden.
Olivia serves to restart play and the Aggies, with yet another teammate out, have a new edge: Sterling, in particular, gets the brunt of it, but he’s far from the only one.
The referees allow them to duke it out—until the Aggies dealer swipes Olivia’s feet out from under her, an awkward fall that leaves Olivia bleeding from a cut to her chin.
Play is halted as the referees wipe up the floors, though they’re unwilling to wait long enough for Abby to examine Olivia, and so she’s pulled off the court and Louis is sent on.
The Aggies dealer is given a yellow card, and the Foxes are given the serve. Louis restarts play, but after stealing the ball away from Akira, the Aggies have possession again.
Though it doesn’t show on the scoreboard, the Aggies have been working the Foxes’ defense and, on the court for the full half, Sterling and Sydney are feeling the fast pace.
Emmett makes a save on an Aggies striker and, seeing that Sydney is too far to clear the ball, he darts out of the goal to do it himself—but the Aggies beat him there, scoring with him out of position.
The Aggies dealer serves, and Sydney tangles with an Aggies striker, but they get a shot off as they’re falling to the ground, one that glances off Emmett’s racquet on its way in.
The buzzer sounds, and the Aggies have taken a fast, late lead: 2-1.
HALFTIME
Trailing in the first game of the Championships, the Foxes retreat to their locker room to regroup. Instead of a locker room speech, Wymack has a simple message for his team: the score is close, don’t give up. With the momentum swinging their team’s way at the end of the half, the Aggies fans in the stands are energized, a rowdy home team crowd as the Vixens run through their half time routines. After fifteen minutes, both teams are called back to the court.
SECOND HALF
STARTING LINEUP:
Goalkeeper: Caleb Fournier (Sub: Jasper Lewis)
Dealers: Raphael Peruggia (Sub: Sasha Hart-Ashby)
Strikers: Carter Maddox, Leo Duarte (Sub: Neel Avery)
Backliners: Beretta Lepore, Casey Hendrix (Sub: Basil Walcott)
Players take their positions, and the Aggies dealer serves to start the half.
The Aggies try to keep their momentum going, but Caleb turns away an early attempt.
Pressure from Beretta forces a striker to make a hasty pass, Raph intercepts it and then carries it up the court for Carter—who turns it into a fast point for the Foxes, tying the score.
The players get back in position, and Raph sends a wave and a smile to his former Coach Michael Cheng, in the front row and on his feet for Raph’s assist.
Raph serves and the Aggies try and take back control, and a game that started out physical gets even rougher.
When Leo takes a hard hit into the Plexiglass that rides the edge of legal, Carter takes offense.
This time the referees break out their whistles to break up the ensuing shoving match before it can turn to all-out blows, awarding Carter a yellow card.
With play paused, Wymack sends in his subs: Jasper for Caleb; Sasha for Raph; Neel for Leo; and Basil for Beretta.
The Aggies are given the serve, and seize the advantage in a fast play that leaves the goal lit up red, a shot to the very upper corner of the goal just out of Jasper’s reach.
The Foxes are grim-faced as they line up for the Aggies serve, but then play is halted: Wymack has challenged the goal.
Upon review, the ball was found to have not landed entirely within the goal, and it’s called back. The fans in the stands are again angry at the call, and the score remains tied.
The Foxes are given the serve, and Sasha restarts play. With the score tied and time running out, both teams are playing hard and physical.
Sasha is the one who steps over the line far enough for the referees to intervene, a hit with her stick to the body of a striker earns her a yellow card—a bigger fight and a worse punishment is stopped by Casey, who pulls her back.
The Aggies serve and, as Basil attempts to cover his striker mark, he loses his footing on the slick, polished floor, giving the Aggies a wide open shot—it’s only Jasper who stops them, with a particularly acrobatic save to keep the score tied.
The clock runs out, and the buzzer sounds: the score is locked 2-2, sending both teams to a shootout.
SHOOTOUT
STARTING LINEUP:
Goalkeeper: Grant Rollins
Strikers: Neel Avery, Brayden Sykes. Leo Duarte, Akira Sato, Carter Maddox, Arlo Booth
In Championship games, ties aren’t broken in overtime, but in shootouts. The Aggies and the Foxes are to alternate shots, cycling through their strikers: after each team has taken three shots apiece, the team with the most successes wins. If the teams remain deadlocked, then it becomes sudden death.
Wymack puts Grant in goal for the Foxes, and the strikers take their places.
Neel is first, stepping up to the line to take his shot—a deadly accurate shot to the lower corner of the goal. Foxes 1, Aggies 0.
The Aggies’ first striker steps up to take their shot, and Grant stands strong in goal, turning it away with a purposeful swing of his racquet. Foxes 1, Aggies 0.
Brayden is next, and the Aggies’ goalkeeper makes a sprawling dive to block his shot. Foxes 1, Aggies 0.
Another Aggies striker takes their turn, and this time it’s Grant that makes a dive—but the ball is just out of his reach. Foxes 1, Aggies 1.
With both teams still neck-and-neck, Leo steps up to take his shot, which just slips under the shaft of the goalkeeper’s racquet and in. Foxes 2, Aggies 1.
A save from Grant would mean that the Foxes win—but the Aggies striker is able to fake him out, and the shootout continues. Foxes 2, Aggies 2.
After three shots each, both sides are deadlocked, and so the shootout continues. Akira steps up to take a shot for the Foxes, but can’t get it past the goalkeeper. Foxes 2, Aggies 2.
The Aggies are up, and Grant blocks with his body, taking a hard shot to his chest armor but keeping the Foxes’ chances alive. Foxes 2, Aggies 2.
It’s Carter’s turn, and he pulls the goalkeeper out of position with a feint to land another shot for the Foxes. Foxes 3, Aggies 2.
The Aggies need to land a shot for the shootout to continue. Their striker attempts a flashy move to put the ball in the top corner, but their shot goes wide of the goal entirely.
With the Aggies’ miss, the Foxes have emerged victorious: 3-2 in the shootout and 3-2 in their first Championships game.
POST-GAME
On the other side of the country from their home court, the Foxes have won their first game of the Championships. Although relatively low-scoring, the game was heavy and physical, and both teams are worn out as they make their way through the customary postgame handshake line. And the Aggies, who came so close on their home court, are definitely feeling the sting.
But the Foxes, with a victory on their side, feel the bruises much less, and they’re energized and elated as they make their way back to the visitor’s locker room, where Wymack assigns Carter and Grant to press duty—with a strongly worded warning to not forget what they learned last week.
The Foxes shower and change out, and load up their buses alongside the Vixens to make their way back to the hotel, ready to take over the halls—and, if they want to brave the January chill, the outdoor pool and hot tub—before they have to fly back to Palmetto in the morning.
As usual, Wymack pretends not to hear their plans, and disappears behind his do not disturb sign as soon as they’re back at the hotel. But, with an early morning wake up call and a long day of flying tomorrow, he makes sure that his familiar reminder is extra-pointed: don’t get arrested, and don’t miss the bus tomorrow.

GAMES RECAP // THE 77TH HUNGER GAMES
The 77th Annual Hunger Games were set in a to-scale version of the Mall of Panem, including every Capitolite’s favourite shops. The Games lasted a total of five days, and were filled to the brim with drama, heartbreak, and a finale the nation will not soon forget.
Tributes launched into the middle of the main atrium of the mall, outside the amusement park. The Career pack dominated the Bloodbath, with Aggie O’Connell gruesomely murdering Geof Carr of District Six and Calix Belcourt easily killing Quinoa Dale of Nine. Both Nike Aurelius and Leon de Castanheira were in trouble, but were easily saved by their allies, Goldie Belcourt of One and Ronni Ruiz of Four. Nova Foster of District Five saved her blind ally Harley Daniels of Six during the fray, after managing to take a coil of copper wire from Freya Messere from Twelve. District Seven’s Landon Browning took a sword from Two’s Leon de Castanheira, while his ally Nadya Vasiliev of Eight bit Eleven’s Cain Whitfield to take an axe. Cassia Finch from Eleven got into a fight with Seven’s Karlin Hazelton, before ally Lucky Villalobos from Ten jumped in to help. Lucky sustained a broken nose, but Cassia was able to escape with a whip.
Tiny District Three tribute Pixel Delaroux killed River Crosby of Nine with the help of Nadya, who simultaneously took out Karlin Hazelton. Cain Whitfield killed Three’s Ayden McIntosh before losing his axe to Nayda, and Freya Messere went right for the eyes to end the life of Eight’s Luca Felton. Six cannons fired at the end of the Bloodbath, signifying the beginning of a whirlwind Games.
Day Two brought in the Arena’s mutts: faceless mannequins with a strong grip and robot security mutts who were prepared to drag away any tribute who approached a closed shop. Additionally, teddy bear mutts with razor sharp teeth came to life in the Make-a-Mutt workshop. Cassia Finch and Freya Messere worked together to get pretzels from one of the shops, which Cassia then enjoyed with ally Lucky Villalobos. Cassia also ran into trouble as she escaped the security mutts alongside District partner Cain Whitfield. Nova and Harley battled a mannequin mutt, as did Jude Proulx, proving that even without the ability to bite, mutts can be terrifying.
Twelve year-old August from District Five was attacked by mannequin mutts as well, and Seven’s Landon Browning put him out of his misery before sharing a kiss with ally Nadya.
However, nothing could compare to the drama within the Career pack. Calix Belcourt and Nike Aurelius fought a pack of vicious teddy bear mutts, which killed Calix and left Nike alone with his body. When Calix’s twin sister Goldie approached alongside the rest of the pack, utter chaos ensued as it appeared to them that Nike had been the one to kill Calix. Loose cannon Aggie O’Connell attacked Nike, thinking she had been the one to break the pack, and killed her by biting a piece of her cheek off. To keep the pack safe from the untrustworthy girl, Leon de Castanheira attacked and killed Aggie in retaliation for killing his District Partner. In almost an instant, only half the pack remained.
On the third day, the dolls resembling the tributes in the Panemian Girl doll store came to life with tiny knives in their hands and demanded revenge on the tributes who killed their real-life counterpart if they had died, or the counterpart themselves if they were still alive. Cain Whitfield ended up being confronted by a mall security mutt as he fought off his attacking dolls. Lucky Villalobos stepped in to help having already dispatched her own doll, but Cain’s injuries were too severe and she killed him out of mercy.
Landon and Nadya were attacked by Careers Leon from Two and Ronni from Four. Nadya was killed by Ronni, and Landon was killed by security mutts after mourning Nadya.
In a scene that lost audio to the viewers, Goldie Belcourt had a breakdown over the pressures of being a Career tribute, and Leon killed her as she requested - though Capitol audiences are none the wiser. Pixel Delaroux climbed up into the ceiling, crawling through and eventually falling from unsteady structure, resulting in a fall and a twisted ankle. And Five’s Nova Foster got into an altercation with Twelve’s Freya Messere once again after their conflict in the Bloodbath. As the girls argued, Nova fell into her own trap and Freya mercy-killed the dying girl, leaving her ally Harley Daniels protected by the trap and not knowing what had happened.
Day Four brought a feast, with bags of food from some of the Capitol’s favourite vendors. But before anyone could make their way to a delectable feast, Harley Daniels of Six was mistakenly ambushed by Leon, and shot by one of his arrows. She died from her wounds.
The two remainders of the Career pack, Leon and Ronni, had an explosive fallout before parting ways, and didn’t see each other again until the feast was over. But before that meeting, Pixel Delaroux was found by Lucky Villalobos and Cassia Finch, who took her in to create a larger, if uneasy, alliance.
The three girls were some of the first to the feast, running in and grabbing food before escaping the scene and suddenly running into Freya Messere. Freya’s protective explosive misfired, leaving the railing over the mall weakened, and Lucky and Cassia let Pixel stay off to the side to watch the supplies. While the two of them fought, Pixel attempted to run off with the goods, though she was quickly tackled down and caught by Lucky. The two decided to eat quickly before rejoining Cassia, who continued to fight Freya.
As they got up, though, Pixel tripped and fell into Lucky, who put all her weight on the weakened railing, and ended up falling down through the atrium to her death. Pixel ran from the scene, and Cassia succeeded in taking down Freya, who died amongst the rubble of her failed explosion.
The remaining final three were Leon de Castanheira of Two, Pixel Delaroux of Three, and Cassia Finch of Eleven.
As the three met up amongst a collapsing theme park in the center of the mall, Pixel immediately turned tail and ran to hide from the two much older tributes. This left Leon and Cassia to fight it out, and the boy from Two emerged victorious from the battle. He was left to search for the last tribute.
Eventually, Pixel tripped, due to her injured ankle, and Leon was in the brink of finishing off the Games for himself when the collapsing theme park became lethal. Pieces of twisted metal and scraps of rollercoasters and ferris wheels began dropping on top of the two tributes. Leon, acting on his protective instincts, shielded Pixel from the falling debris, and the girl was knocked out cold by a metal bar landing on her head.
The two were trapped under a pile of scraps when Leon met his end, more pieces of a theme park ride piercing through his body.
The Capitol and the country waited in dread for an extensive amount of time as Peacekeepers descended into the arena. And it wasn’t until they pulled the redheaded fourteen-year-old, concussed and injured, out of the rubble, that the Gamemakers could solidly announce:
“Ladies and Gentlemen, the winner of the 77th Hunger Games. Pixel Delaroux of District Three!”

We witness love that is difficult and reserved, and love big enough to endure pain and sacrifice, along with happy and straightforward love. There is love for fish and foul, love of land and of sea, love of art, and love of tribe. Yes, there are examples of romantic love, but also of love between friends, and of parents for children. In a medium not famed for nuanced depictions of relationships, it feels genuinely novel to see such a broad exploration of what love means. More than a game, I Am Dead is a meditation on life and love. It took me five evenings to complete the game, and I didn’t need my Headspace app that whole week. But within minutes, its invitation to slow down and smell the roses had drawn me in. I Am Dead opens with a walk along the beach so languid I wondered if my controller was broken. So when you find yourself dead before a game even starts, you know you’re in for a different, gentler experience. To help with their mission, Morris uses his newfound power that allows him to peer inside objects and people to reveal their contents and memories, like a supernatural X-Ray! Along the way you will discover many stories about the history and folklore of Shelmerston, and its cast of curious inhabitants and visitors: tourist finches, the fishfolk, morlos, and the Legend of Aggi - the one who originally silenced the volcano. To find them, the duo must visit the places they spent time in, dive inside the memories of the people who knew them best, and learn the stories of their lives. Morris and Sparky must unearth a number of Shelmerston's lost and scattered ghosts. Together, they must uncover Shelmerston’s ancient mysteries, prevent the island’s volcano from erupting, and save the place they call home. Starting to introduce some side characters slowly but surely, starting with Trouble's adoptive parents. Info under the read-more!

THE FOXHOLE COURT: JANUARY 21-JANUARY 27
ONLINE:
“The first game of the Championships for the Palmetto State Foxes and the UC Davis Aggies was a nail-biter: with only two goals scored by either side in regulation, it went to the shootout, where after a strong showing in goal by Fox Captain Grant Rollins and a game winning goal by Carter Maddox—both fifth years—the Foxes eked out their first victory of this year’s Championships. The game might have been short on goals, but it definitely wasn’t short on hits, with both teams bringing their best physical play. And after a hard-hitting game from both teams, one thing is for certain: the Championships have definitely begun—and it’s only going to get rougher from here.”
“Early in the game, the Aggies—already down their leading goal scorer Marisa Bowers—lost another striker, fifth year Jacob Wilder, who had to be helped off the court after a hit from senior backliner Sterling Walsh. In the second half, former Penn State Lion and dealer Olivia Finch had to leave the court after a trip from Aggies dealer Katelyn Wilkins left her bleeding from a cut to the chin. Walsh wasn’t assessed a penalty on the play, but Wilkins was given a yellow card. Wilkins’ yellow card was the only one for the Aggies for the night, but both Carter Maddox and Sasha Hart-Ashby had yellow cards for the Foxes.”
“The injury to Finch was minor, and we expect to see her back on the court next game. Wilder, however, isn’t as lucky. While the Aggies haven’t shared the exact nature of his injury, he’s done for the season—however long that may be for the Aggies. And for a team that’s already down their best striker, it’s a devastating blow. “’Do we wish there had been a penalty called on that play? Yeah, sure,’ said Aggies Captain Cadence Huffman. ‘But the refs didn’t think it was a penalty, and maybe they’re right, so what can you do? We tried our best to keep fighting, but it just didn’t go our way tonight.‘”
“With their shootout victory, the Foxes are halfway to securing their place in the second round: they’ll attempt to lock it in with a victory against the Breckenridge Jackals in two weeks—an opponent they’re already fallen to once this season—while the Aggies will look to stay alive against their home state rivals, the UCLA Bruins.”
“Elsewhere in Class I: The Ravens, the Trojans, and the Lions all secured their first wins of the Championships, but the Ohio State Buckeyes got off to a rough start, losing to the Belmonte Terrapins—leaving them with a lot of ground to make up after their first first-place finish in their district.”
- COLLEGE EXY ONLINE, “FOXES CLINCH FIRST CHAMPIONSHIPS VICTORY IN SHOOTOUT.”
“We don’t know who caught the Exy game on Friday, but we have to say the unexpected star of the night was not a Fox, or even an Aggie: it was this dad (?) and his prime dad-antics right in the front row. Will whoever this man belongs to please come collect him? We’re cringing, but we’re also confused—we didn’t think this team had enough parents to go around.”
“If there’s one thing we learned this weekend it’s that Davis, California is rather—quaint. And by quaint we mean full of barnyard animals for one country boy to break in and visit on some kind of romantic excursion. Does a petting zoo put you in the mood for some heavy petting? We’d say we aren’t judging, but we totally are.”
- FOXWATCH, YOUR SOURCE FOR GOSSIP AT PALMETTO STATE UNIVERSITY
ON CAMPUS:
The Foxes return to Palmetto victorious, and to a campus that is more than ready for Championships season. But that has less to do with the Foxes—though they’re getting a tentative embrace—and more to do with football: on Saturday, January 26, the football team will play their first playoffs game in front of a massive stadium crowd.
The fervor can be felt all week: on Thursday, January 24 there’s a pep rally that draws in almost the entire orange-clad campus—and this time, the Foxes are part of it, though all they have to do is wave to the crowd when their name and number is called. It’s much more demanding for the Vixens, who have once again been thrown into practices with the football cheerleaders in preparation.
But Palmetto Unity didn’t end last semester, and Wymack breaks the news to the Foxes after the pep rally: the University is paying for the Foxes and the Vixens to go the football game in Charlotte, North Carolina—and no one is getting out of it.
So on Saturday, the Foxes load onto their familiar buses for an unfamiliar purpose and make the drive to Charlotte. At the game, the Vixens are on the field, waving their pom-poms on the sidelines during play, though they’re left behind when it comes time for the football squad’s high-flying halftime performance. The Foxes have prime seats in the stands, and expected to smile and look engaged whenever the cameras are turned on them.
(OOC information related to the football game under the cut)
Hey Foxes! We’re going to do something a little different this time:
To keep the suspense flowing, the outcome of the football game won’t be posted until later in the update, so keep your eyes out for it! Until then, anything surrounding the pep rally, the trip to Charlotte, and the Foxes watching the game is fair game for threads, as long as you don’t presume the outcome!
And let me know if you have any questions!

She looked up at the man sheepishly when he introduced himself, thankfully he didn't seem bothered at all by her rudely fumbling into him. Taking his hand she gave the thing a light shake, "Agatha- Aggy for short, it's a pleasure to meet you Finch."
She offers him a slight smile, he seemed friendly enough. "Do you mind if I walk with you for Abit? It's kind of crowded in here and I feel like I may trip over someone." Laughing slightly she looked around. "This parties pretty packed."
Walking into the event, she was dressed in the black dress Micheal had bought for her, paired with a set of black heels she'd already owned. The carefully wrapped book she'd gotten for Felicity tucked to her chest as she waded through the crowd towards the growing pile of wrapped goodies for the birthday girl.
In all honesty, she hadn't wanted to come. After everything that had happened in the last few days. She felt like this was just asking for trouble to be out and about. But after how Micheal had cared for her the other night when she'd been so frazzled and her want to support fliss... In the end her need to meet promises made outweighed her want to stay cooped up at home.
She grabbed one of the non-alcoholic blood glasses and sipped the thing carefully, before grabbing a second and making her way through the busy foyer. Vampire, human and wolves alike, they all mingled and laughed partying with one another. It was quite a sight in all honesty, it made her think back to her conversation with Sheriff Ravensback about the possibility of peace and equality.. It gave her some hope.
With another sip of her first glass- Aggy realized with mild shock that she'd already sucked the thing dry.. looking down in shock, and then to the second glass she held... Christ. She abandoned the empty glass on a table before continuing ahead, bumping into someone she let out a soft curse. "Sorry- I'm Abit clumsier then usual tonight."

Here it is, finally. Move in day. As you all learned a couple of days ago, Ravenwood University would no longer divide their students based on social standing. They were a campus united, and it’s time it started to demonstrate that.
Below you’ll find the pairings sharing an apartment this academic year (if you’re character isn’t on the list below, it’s because it’s assumed they live off campus, will be receiving a rewrite soon or simply don’t go there.) So go on, learn who’ll be living with your character and in news pertaining the Ravenwood student body, we’ll be revealing the theme for this years Homecoming festivities this Wednesday, September 27th.
