Can we stop our biological age? Do collagen help in Anti-aging?
In short Yes, but we can't completely stop biological aging, we can influence how gracefully we age through healthy lifestyle choices and specific skincare ingredients, such as collagen, which can help slow down visible signs of aging.
Tumblr media
Collagen is a Vital protein that plays a significant role in anti-aging because it’s a major structural protein in our skin, providing it with elasticity and strength. Unfortunately, collagen levels in our body decreses after 20's leading to wrinkles, sagging skin, loss of elasticity, Bone beformation, inflexible joints and hair loss. Collagen supplements, particularly those containing Type I and Type III collagen, may help in slowing aging signs. NewYou marine collagen comes with multiple benefits, it's beneficial for those who want to slowdown Aging signs, here is how Newyou collagen helps for anti-aging
Tumblr media
Enhance Skin Elasticity and Hydration: Collagen supplements can boost skin’s hydration and firmness, resulting in smoother, more resilient skin.
Reduce Wrinkles: Regular collagen intake can help minimize fine lines and wrinkles by supporting skin’s structure.
Support Hair and Nail Health: Collagen can also benefit hair thickness and nail strength, further promoting a youthful appearance.
Joint Comfort and Flexibility: Collagen helps maintain the integrity of cartilage, the tissue that protects joints, allowing for smoother movement and reduced joint pain. It may be particularly beneficial for individuals with osteoarthritis or joint-related issues, as it can reduce joint stiffness and discomfort.
Bone Density and Strength: Collagen makes up a large portion of our bones’ structure, contributing to their strength and flexibility. Taking collagen supplements can help stimulate bone formation and reduce bone breakdown, which is especially important as we age and bone density naturally declines.
Reduced Inflammation: Some studies suggest that collagen supplements may help reduce inflammation in joints, which can be particularly beneficial for those with arthritis or other inflammatory joint conditions.
Supporting Ligaments and Tendons: Collagen supports the resilience and strength of ligaments and tendons, helping to protect against injuries and improving overall joint stability.
Collagen won’t stop the biological aging process but can make a noticeable difference in appearance and skin health, which is why it’s valued in anti-aging routines.

Totempulse Idea Dump 2: Tango Abuses his Admin Rights
(Disclaimer: i have not watched tango and i do not know how in character this is. feel free to correct me if im wrong)
- timeline: post wall-flight, pre hcbbs.
- team zit hanging out at impulses base, doing some redstone. probably impulses latest farm.
- the subject of totemification is brought up. Tango then remembers hes an admin. He decides to look through impulses code to see how it works.
- code function tangent! Basically, totemification is controlled by one variable, which increments by a random amount each time a totem is used. This random amount gets added to by some number dependent on the total amount of totems used so far.
- this variable (totemEffect) is used to determine several others, including fireResist, damageResist, ageSlow, and totemSideEffect.
- there is a point where damageResist is 100%. At this point, nothing can activate more totems, since you resist all damage. However, this isnt the maximum value of totemEffect. This is because of the random increase.
- a safety net exists, which contains data for effects past the 100% mark. This exists to prevent overflow errors, as otherwise a totem could skip over the 100% mark entirely and glitch the player.
- this safety net, for some reason, contains higher ageSlow and totemSideEffect variables than what is normally obtainable.
- 100% point side effects: completely gold-looking skin/hair, solid emerald green eyes, golden wings capable of flight, a cloud of totem particles similar to an endermans particle cloud. you also become a few inches shorter. 100% immunity to all non-void damage, obviously. very slow aging.
- max value side effects: same as above, but more particles and you are tiny. same size as a totem. you also do not age at all.
- ok now back to the plot! Tango finds out all these things about the totemification code. While thinking about it, he accidentally types in the 100% mark, which overwrites the current totemification variable.
- tango then realizes "fuck, i typed that, didnt i. what did i do" *looks at impulse* *falls over laughing*
- impulse is very confused until he looks down and realizes hes gold. now hes like "oh no TANGO WHAT DID YOU DO"
- what is zedaph doing? idk but hes noticing this as well. probably taking it better than impulse is.
- tango finally calms down and starts to explain.
- "so the good news is, you're invincible now!" "and the bad news is, im made of gold?" "uhh, and the weird news is, you have wings!" "i have WHAT?" (tango/impulse/zedaph/impulse again)
- impulse trying to fly! hes not very good and tango bullies him about it (in a friendly way).
- zedaph tries to get impulse to do experiments again now that hes even more totemificated
- then he realizes this isnt an impulse only thing and that he could probably totemificate himself
- for science of course! he probably asks tango to alter his code too. tango begrudgingly agrees, knowing that if he doesnt then zedaph can and will totemificate himself in deadlier ways.
- a nice afternoon of code fuckery and totemification testing. thankfully xisuma isnt currently on the server because this probably isnt allowed.
- eventually, someone decides to see what the extra side effects are. tango goes back in impulses code and maxes out totemification. they get a tinypulse.
- he is probably a bit upset about this. how do you do redstone when you are tiny.
- however, this is the time xisuma happens to log back on. if they keep messing with the code they will be found out and they do not want to be found out.
- tango, a heavily totemificated zedaph (up to the point where he gets wings, he was experimenting with the totemification flight), and a very small impulse have to hide their crimes from a slightly suspicious xisuma.
- impulse also has to deal with being so fucking small. its hard to work on his farms at this size! at least he can fly.

Consultant Jenna Stickley began using the Active Hydration Serum about a month ago. Her routine was to place it on the top of her left hand prior to applying to her face. After a few days, she noticed a change to the skin on her hand. She said, "I decided to experiment and started rubbing in the tiny residue of serum left to the top of my hand. Can you see the difference??! One hand looks younger and smoother and hydrated. The other looks old, wrinkly and cracked. If this is what a leftover dab does to my hands, can you imagine what it can do for our skin??!" She said that she has "never believed in a product so wholeheartedly!!" Wonder if the products actually work now? 😉 #RodanFields #MakeYourSkinActYoungerAnd AgeSlower #ActiveHydrationSerum #RealPeopleRealResults (at Forest Park, Georgia)

Totempulse AU Masterpost: Part 2
GOING OFF 2: Code Fuckery
Tango has admin rights. He might be abusing them a little bit.
- timeline: post wall-flight, pre hcbbs.
- Team ZIT is hanging out at Impulse's base, doing some redstone. Probably Impulse's latest farm.
- The subject of totemification is brought up. Tango then remembers he's an admin. He decides to look through Impulse's code to see how it works.
- Code function tangent! Basically, totemification is controlled by one variable, which increments by a random amount each time a totem is used. This random amount gets added to by some number dependent on the total amount of totems used so far.
- This variable (totemEffect) is used to determine several others, including regenSpeed, fireResist, damageResist, ageSlow, and totemSideEffect.
- There is a point where damageResist is 100%. At this point, nothing can activate more totems, since you resist all damage. However, this isn't the maximum value of totemEffect.
- Max value side effects: Same as above, but more particles and you are tiny. Same size as a totem.
- Ok now back to the plot! Tango finds out all these things about the totemification code. While thinking about it, he accidentally types in the value of the 100% point, which overwrites the current totemification variable.
- Tango then realizes "Fuck, I typed that, didn't I. What did I just do" *looks at Impulse* *falls over laughing*
- Impulse is very confused until he looks down and realizes he's gold. Then he's like "Oh no oh no TANGO WHAT DID YOU DO"
- What is Zedaph doing? I don't know, but he's noticing this as well. Probably taking it better than Impulse is.
- Tango finally calms down and starts to explain.
- "So the good news is, you're invincible now!" "And the bad news is, I'm made of gold?" "Uhh, and the weird news is, you have wings!" "I have WHAT?" (tango/impulse/zedaph/impulse again)
- Impulse trying to fly! He's not very good and Tango bullies him about it (in a friendly way).
- Zedaph tries to get Impulse to do experiments again now that he's even more totemificated
- Then he realizes this isn't an Impulse only thing and he could probably totemificate himself
- For science, of course! He probably asks Tango to alter his code too. Tango begrudgingly agrees, knowing that if he doesn't then Zedaph can and will totemificate himself in deadlier ways.
- They have a nice afternoon of code fuckery and totemification testing. Thankfully, Xisuma isn't currently on the server.
- Eventually, someone decides to see what the extra side effects are. Tango goes back in Impulses code and maxes out totemification. They get a tiny Impulse.
- He is probably a bit upset about this.
- However, this is the time Xisuma happens to log back on. Tango says that if they keep messing with the code they will be found out. They do not want to be found out.
- Tango, a heavily totemificated Zedaph (up to the point where he gets wings, he was experimenting with the totemification flight), and a very small Impulse have to hide their crimes from a slightly suspicious Xisuma.
- Impulse also has to deal with being so fucking small. It's hard to work on his farms at this size! At least he can fly.
- However, Tango doesn't actually know how to undo totemification. The possibility of them getting caught was just an excuse to have more time to work on it.
- He can't just leave Impulse like this! That's his best friend! No, he has to find a way to reverse totemification. He has to.
GOING OFF 3: Into the Void
Zedaph accidentally discovers that there's a way to undo the totemification. It is rather unpleasant.
- This is after the code fuckery. Xisuma is still on the server.
- Zedaph has previously been totemificated by code fuckery. Tango gradually increased his totemification until he got functional wings. This means he is only slightly above the threshold where he gets wings.
- Zedaph is flying over to go work on his pig spaceship. He didn't bring an elytra, because 1) he can fly and 2) they don't exactly fit over his wings.
- While he flies above the void, his wings start to weaken. He dismisses this as just getting tired.
- It's only when he starts to fall that he realizes what happened.
- His wings have been gradually weakening and shrinking, and now they can no longer support him. He plummets into the void and dies.
- When he respawns, his wings are completely gone. He does some tests, and determines that he's also slightly more vulnerable to damage than before the void.
- He realizes that the void is reversing the totemification. He needs to tell Impulse and Tango about this new discovery.
- Impulse is at his base, trying to continue working on his farm. He is having difficulties. Blocks are much harder to move when you are smaller than them.
- Xisuma finally logs off. Impulse and Zedaph realize that Tango can fix this now! They both head over to Tangos base.
- They all meet up. Impulse asks if he can be changed back now. Tango is forced to admit that he can't actually do that.
- Now Impulse is stuck like this and Tango can't do anything and he feels like a failure for not finding a solution
- Zedaph says that he might have something, and tells them what happened to him.
- They discuss. It makes sense! Totems don't work against the void, so it would make sense for it to counteract ALL the totem's effects.
- They head off to Zedaphs cave, and make their plans around the void hole.
- The plan is for Impulse to fly around in the void until he gets back to normal size, as he kind of likes the invincibility and the wings. Then, he flies right back out.
- Impulse is Scared. He might be about to die for the first time in weeks. He tries not to think about what happens if he cant get out before his wings fail. He doesn't want to fall into the void.
- What happens next? Does the plan succeed? Does Impulse fall and die? Is he so far totemificated that the void doesn't work? Maybe only the end void works like that and overworld void is somehow more evil. A nice cliffhanger to torture my uhhh... approximately two fans! I promise they all survive though. Either way, Tango has learned not to fuck with the code. Or has he?
Totempulse AU Masterpost: Part 1
Basic AU Summary:
Alternate timeline of season 7, occurs before the secret base shenanigans. Impulse discovers that his constant use of totems is having more permanent effects. Shenanigans and science soon follow.
Important Characters: Impulse, Tango, Zedaph
THE BEGINNING
How Totems Work:
Every time someone uses a totem, they absorb a tiny bit of the energy released. This energy gives them a bit of death resistance, but it's such a small amount that it's not even noticeable unless you use huge amounts of totems. Impulse uses huge amounts of totems. Every bit of energy absorbed makes it easier to absorb more, so repeated use of totems has accelerating effects. This effect is known as totemification. Tango named it.
Effect Timeline:
Effects all increase gradually, but here is a basic timeline of the order all kinds of death resistance and side effects develop, as well as marks on the points where people have been at in the official lore. Earlier on the list is earlier effects, and you don't lose any effects as you use more totems.
- first noticeable effect is slightly faster regen and slight resistance to damage, especially fire (Impulse when first discovered)
- slightly golden skin
- higher resistance and regen, temporary fire immunity
- emerald coloured eyes
- aging starts to slow down
- totem particles appear during highly emotional states (Impulse after experimentation and wall flight)
- complete fire immunity
- skin and hair become completely golden
- maximum regeneration speed reached (Zedaph after void death)
- golden wings capable of flight (Zedaph after code fuckery)
- invincibility reached
- particles are now constant
- aging is much slower
- shrinking begins (the 100% point, Impulse at the start of the code fuckery)
- aging stops completely
- maximum totemification, shrunk to the size of a totem. (Impulse at the end of the code fuckery)
The Plot Begins:
- The boomers are doing their thing (blowing shit up). For this reason, none of them are wearing armour.
- Impulse and Tango both fall off the tnt machine. Tango dies, but Impulse does not.
- They are confused, and decide to push Bdubs off the ledge to see if Impulse is strong or if Tango is weak. Bdubs dies (and is angry).
- Even more confused Impulse and Tango. Clearly there's something weird happening.
- After the job is finished, Tango and Impulse meet up with Zedaph and tell him there's weird stuff going on and they need to science it. Zedaph is all for sciencing weird stuff!
- Cue experiments- Impulse is proven to Not Die As Easily.
- The squad discusses possible theories for why this is happening. They settle on totems being the cause, as they are magical in nature and also an Impulse Thing.
- More experiments to prove the theory: seeing how much damage Impulse takes from the same source, before and after he activates another totem. The theory is proved correct.
- The squad decides they need to see how much they can accelerate the changes. Impulse gathers an ungodly amount of totems and proceeds to repeatedly fly into a wall as Tango and Zedaph watch.
- Xisuma comes across this experiment and slowly backs away. He is concerned.
- Impulse finally stops once a flight into the wall fails to kill him.
- Cue even more experiments, to see how death resistant Impulse is now.
- Later, Impulse encounters Xisuma in the shopping district, who proceeds to question him on why exactly he was flying into a wall repeatedly. Impulse has to explain what he was doing and tell X about the totem's effects.
- Impulse STILL wears full netherite armour despite being incredibly death resistant. He either just fears death that much or doesn't want people to find out.
IDEAS AND STUFF
Random/Lore Ideas:
- Does this affect the code in any way? Can Xisuma do something with this? (expanded on- it does, and he can theoretically.)
- Tango has admin permissions too- will he do something with this? Will they work together? (expanded on- he will, and they won't.)
- One subject isn't much of a study pool. Do more hermits get these effects? Will Zedaph totem himself for science? (expanded on- yes he will.)
- Does Impulse still carry totems after this? Does he still fear death that much after becoming so resistant to it?
- if Impulse can't die, do Impulse heads become rare and valuable?
- Do the totem effects carry between servers or are they limited to this one? (hey shade, here's your skizz opportunity)
- How does drowning work? Does he not run out of air or does he just survive without air?
Funny/Entertaining Scenarios:
- A competition for who can actually kill Impulse
- Totem demand rises as more hermits want to become death resistant
- "that's NOT FAIR! that's CHEATING!" "well i can't exactly control it!" "YOU ADVANCED THE EFFECTS ON PURPOSE!" -someone who just found out what Impulse did
- Impulse is banned from decked out
- Once he becomes fireproof, Impulse just vibing in lava
- Impulse starts a service where he will do dangerous things other hermits need done, because he's probably not going to die from it
- Grian unleashes absolute chaos upon an unsuspecting Impulse because it won't kill him anyways, why not have fun?
- At least one person finds out about the totems effects by trying to kill Impulse and failing miserably
- If anyone sees an Impulse death message in chat, the immediate response is "HOW?"
Oh, you want ANGST? Here it is:
- You COULD get angst by flipping the totem effects (overuse makes you more fragile as you become dependent on totems), but that's boring and doesn't fit the rest of the lore. Don't do it.
- Instead, get some "not himself anymore" angst! He's not even completely human anymore.
- Does Impulse even want to advance the effects more? Maybe he's paranoid of what might happen.
- What if he gets to the invincibility stage? What happens to a man who cannot die?
- He's pretty much guaranteed to outlive all his friends if minecraft people can die permanently! Especially if totems stop aging too.
- Get deep into the lore of why the totems are like this! They come from evokers, so there's some connection to vex magic, which the fandom has used for ungodly amounts of angst.
- Maybe Impulse develops a fear of the void, since it's the only thing that can kill him. Does he avoid Zedaphs cave now because of the void hole?
- Trying to hide the totem effects perhaps?
OTHER PEOPLE'S SUBMISSIONS AND IDEAS (aka everything in this au i didn't make up myself):
- the original ask to hermitcraft headcanons, and the response to it, with a scenario of impulse repeatedly flying into a wall to activate a bunch of totems. That started this entire AU, and very much thanks to @shadeswift99 (the mod who answered that ask) and the anon who had that headcanon. Thats where this whole thing started. It gave me so many ideas.
- one of the physical changes is totem sparkles! he's shiny now.
- bedrock weakens or nullifies totemification effects bc its near void. (not used, but this inspired the void reversing totemification)
- extreme totemification makes you become a totem. (i don't like this and won't be using it (i will not have what is essentially major character death in my cool powers and science au), but it WAS the inspiration for impulse becoming tiny)
- tango, for whatever reason, can't actually use his admin access to reverse totemification. he can only increase the variable, not decrease it. (This sent me off into a whole new concept, which will be in part 2!)
MLEEM GOES OFF: STORY BITS AND LORE
This is where I will put any and all of my little story bits that would make great fanfics if I could actually write. Instead, you get this.
GOING OFF 1: They Need His Head
Grian and Bdubs discover how hard it is to kill Impulse. This one is comedy, very short, and doesn't really have an established place in the totempulse au timeline.
- timeline: post wall-flight, secret base arc, specifically the keralis turtle part.
- Grian suggests they kill each other for heads. Impulse has to explain how difficult it will be because he used too many totems and now he's hard to kill. This does not stop Grian from trying.
- Bdubs is angry because this is unfair. Him and Grian gang up on Impulse to try and kill him at least once.
- Impulse dies exactly one time. That head is given a place of pride in the turtly display.
Part 2 coming in a reblog because apparently I have more ideas than tumblr allows in a single post! You will find 2 more Mleem Goes Off story bits, and they will be long ones. Do not reblog this version.

Max's 1st benefit "Prevent premature aging". Sugar when combined with protein, our cells, will create harmful A.G.E.s. which cause our body to age. Since we can not avoid sugar no matter how healthy we eat, we can consume iridoids to reduce the damage. In conclusion, Max are filled with iridoids so drinking Max everyday will help us age slower. https://youtu.be/UxcMBERrPFI #handthegift #scanQR #sugar #aging #old #age #iridoid #max #drinkmaxeveryday #ageslower http://ift.tt/2oqxcG7
