Bobbi snickered. “I’ll consider a horse or a pony for a future gift. But no, you need a dishwasher, even if it’s a small one. Not that watching you try and drink out of a steaming hot coffee pot isn’t hilarious, I’d prefer it if you were in one piece.”

The archer gave a sarcastic sigh and dramatically dropped his shoulders, "But I want a pony this year!"

He gave the old dishwasher a kick, saying, "You'd think with me owning the apartment complex and all that, I could at least get myself a working dishwasher.. " His tone taking a more serious note.

He pulled a box of Christmas chocolates out of one of the bags and held it out. “And these are for you, just cause.”

A sneeze echoed through Avengers tower. Clint didn't get sick. He never got sick, not even as a child, but as soon as they sent him to a fundraiser event for the New York children's hospital he came back feeling sluggish.

It was afternoon now and his mood had decreased with his energy. There was a reason he didn't hang around kids much. He had come home feeling a little sore in the morning, but it was to expected. There was a tickle in the back of his throat and some sneezing, nothing to worry about.

Then he started getting tired and took a nap. When he woke up he felt like a truck had knocked him over. Sore throat, stuffed sinuses, shivers. And he hated it but he still insisted in being totally fine. "Hey Bob, didn't see you there."

He falls short, shuffling a bouquet of roses in one hand. this was a STUPID idea and that was coming from a guy who was basically the KING of coming up with really stupid ideas, "we don't..." again he fumbles the ball, rubbing the back of his neck with his free hand before finally settling on, "i got you flowers." while holding them out for her to take. what a NIGHTMARE. "for valentines day."

"Ah, shit, Bobbi!" Clint tried to pull the towel up around his waist, barely catching it before it fell to the ground. "Jesus, you scared me, don't do that." Once his towel was secured, he reached over and put his hearing aids in before looking to his partner. "What'd you need? Help with training your recruits? 'cause I just wrapped up with mine."

everyone told steve that being a dad would be hard but he never expected it to be this hard.  of course, he did have to toddlers under the age of five.  that might have something to do with as well.  

in the morning, he grabbed two bowls of cereal and set them on the table.  he started the coffee for he and sharon and then walked out the living room where their daughters were watching cartoons.  “okay, daddy’s got breakfast on the table.  let’s go eat before it gets soggy!!”

they protested but he was able to drag them away and get them settled at the table.  he then filled two mugs with coffee and turned just as sharon walked in.

“morning, love,” he said, smiling as he handed her a mug.  “i got the girls breakfast.  you want me to make something for you?”

It shows on his face that he wasn’t expecting the question and as a result the silence hangs in the air for a moment, his slice of pizza still in his hand as he was readying to take a bite from it. Clearing his throat he looked at her, gauging why she’d ask so randomly. “… Yeah…” He paused for a passing second, “course I do Bobbi.” But even now he was trying to figure out if he missed an important date and if that was why she’d asked.

“can’t say that i’ve ever had m&ms and popcorn together.  call me intrigued.” he said with a smirk as he handed the bag to bobbi and then got the bowl to refill with popcorn.  steve walked off to the kitchen for a few minutes and returned with a fresh batch.

“here you go.” he set the bowl down on the table and took his place on the couch.  “so what movie are we watching?”
