Disclaimer is the debut studio album by South African rock band Seether. It features three successful singles which would remain some of the band's most well-known songs. It is their first release under their current name after changing it from Saron Gas in 2002 to avoid confusion with the deadly nerve agent sarin gas. As much as getting older had always been an unavoidable eventuality, Emily had spent much of her life pushing her age to the back of her mind. Maybe it was because she’d always been too busy to think about it. Maybe it was because she’d watched her mother doing everything in her power to maintain a facade of youth. Maybe it was just her own flawed psyche.

Whatever the reason, she found it creeping up on her faster than she would have liked.

The first thing had been the glasses. It wasn’t that she looked bad wearing glasses, she was just stubborn. She didn’t want to admit that she needed them and thus spent far longer than wise or necessary squinting, rather than acknowledge the truth of her declining vision.

The second thing had been the grey hair. It didn’t matter how many times Tara reassured her that she found her beautiful regardless of the colour of her hair, she couldn’t seem to make her peace with it. She’d spent so many years dying it, doing her best to pretend and ignore and disguise, but eventually – during the pandemic – she’d just fallen out of the habit and let the grey take over.

The most insidious thing, though, was menopause. Partly because it killed her just a little to know that she’d never have a child of her own. Partly because her normally rampant libido quickly disappeared. And, worst of all, the anorgasmia that came with it. It was frustrating and insidious and depressing.

Tara repeatedly told her that it didn’t matter to her – that an orgasm wasn’t the point of sex, although it certainly made it more enjoyable – but Emily remained unconvinced... She’d tried everything she could think of to deal with her depleting hormone levels (short of actually talking to a medical professional), but nothing had helped.

Tara rolled her eyes, but smiled nonetheless. “I think you’re officially high,” she said, taking the joint from her and taking a drag, then setting it in the ashtray on her nightstand. “Feel anything?”

Emily thought on that for a moment, then shrugged. “Hard to stay. I mean stay. Say!” she said, taking a few tries to get the word right. Then, she burst out laughing again.

“You’re goofy when you’re high,” Tara said fondly, then leaned in to kiss her. The kiss was chaste at first, but quickly turned passionate, Emily’s hands frenzied and frantic over Tara’s body in their search for purchase.

Finding what she was searching for, she tangled her fingers in Tara’s hair, nails scraping across her scalp, eliciting a little whine from Tara’s lips. Her other hand slid under Tara’s tank top, exploring the planes of her stomach, then up to her breast.

“Em, it’s okay,” Tara reassured her, pulling back from the kiss, “We don’t have to...”

the front entry/living room. grimy as hell. i'm not necessarily seeing any cracks which could mean poor foundation and given how ugly this house is, built in 1976, i feel like any bad foundation issues may've shown themselves via cracks by now? idk tho. i just watch a lot of flipping shows, what do i know?

Also i doubt that even a good DIYer would have trouble trying to salvage those cabinets, looks like they don't close properly. and where the hell would i put a fridge or dishwasher? before the little half wall that separates the kitchen area, but after the neon green indicates the start of the room? i guess those lil half walls can be torn down tho since they're not supporting anything, so maybe that'd work? could put a dining table in front of that window at least, if that's the case.

the previous residents must've gotten a good deal on paint or smth cut it's everywhere. guess they had no more money after putting down what looks like. vinyl wood-look floors? no idea what this room is tho, i assume a bedroom but the gieger counter screaming in pain is making it hard to tell.

i guess it's technically???? zoned for a bedroom? but i thought a closet's supposed to have a door or smth? idk shit about cali zoning laws tho. i guess you could put some sliding doors over this tho. still can't tell if that flooring is vinyl or actually like. parquet. or both. probably both. you see that light that's falling off the ceiling? and is that a mirror above the closet???

what is up with the perspective in these photos, they make the ceiling look like it's--- wait no it's actually at an angle, oh ok that's. god these photos are sure something. same with the paint. also i think this is AT LEAST the third kind of flooring we've seen, after the tile and the parquet. unknown if the first bedroom is a different-- wait no. this is four different kinds of flooring. in one house. what bargain bin leftovers did these people find....

Duncanville grad starring in NCIS-Hawaii, The Chosen

Actors never know where their next job is going to be. That's why Duncanville High School graduate Yasmine Al-Bustami feels so fortunate to be filming Season 4 of The Chosen in her home state, and less than 20 miles from where she grew up.

"It's the dream! It's honestly part of why I took the job," Al-Bustami says joyfully of her role as Ramah on The Chosen.

The series, which follows the story of Jesus and his disciples through the gospels, films in Midlothian.

"I loved it," Al-Bustami reflects of her time growing up in Southern Dallas County. "We moved to DeSoto first and then Duncanville. So I've always been in (the) South Dallas (area).

"I felt like I had a great education growing up in Duncanville."

As Al-Bustami's star has risen, she does get recognized in everyday life. But she says it always surprises her.

"It's so random, and I'm never expecting it," Al-Bustami says. "And the fun thing is that I never know who is going to recognize me for what.

"It's always so interesting when someone comes over to me and says, 'I know you.' And then I'm already thinking I feel like based on whatever vibe I'm getting from them (they're going to recognize me) from this. And then it's just the complete opposite."

In addition to her role on The Chosen, Al-Bustami also stars as Special Agent Lucy Tara on the CBS series NCIS: Hawaiʻi. But the Texas girl prefers the Lone Star State.

"It's different living in a place like that (Hawai'i)," Al-Bustami says. "I didn't realize how much of a Texas gal I was until even going to L.A...but then Hawai'i is so much different than either of those places. So being on an island so long was an adjustment.

"Thankfully, the ensemble we have there...and the friends that I've made there have made it feel like home. But man, do I miss land!"

So as she's filmed The Chosen in April and May, she's had a chance to be home. And don't be surprised if one day she's a permanent resident again.

"In terms of settling down, I don't think I want to settle down in L.A. (That's) not for me. But maybe somewhere in Texas. Obviously, I love coming back home!" she says with a smile.

And the Cross Guild have a high ranking bounty on him, they seem to rank by stars (stars = treasure chests ~ 100 million), must've been taking notes from Dressrosa

Given how they say Captains are usually 1 Star, I'd guess the Cross Guild know that Koby is a part of SWORD as a Rear Admiral

It's Pizarro, and he wants Koby alive

Ah I see, Koby's been freeing the other prisoners (they were called slaves so I guess they were all put to work like Kaido did) in the process

So Pizarro has the Island Island Fruit, it's still concerning that Shiryu is here too, given his stealth proficiency

Vasco Shot is here, with the Glug Glug or Liquor Liquor fruit, which makes him a liquor man - Zoro will feel personally attacked that he never knew such a fruit existed

Vasco wants to burn down the place, but Pizarro reminds him that they just fixed up Rocky Port - still a wild mystery

And Sanjuan Wolf just has the regular Giant Giant Fruit, kinda feel like he and Burgess got the bad hand

As Koby is being chased he's flashed back to when he was brought to Fullalead

Blackbeard wants to make the island a sovereign state recognized by the WG

Teach must be thinking about how Australia came to be, since it too was a country of criminals (due to the British Empire sending their criminals there)

He also reveals he's from SWORD, which brings Aokiji into exposition

SWORD members are like rogues, they both and are not Navy members, they don't have the red tape and so go after the Yonko but in exchange the Navy would also attack them

However, while the WG wouldn't bargain for a SWORD agent, Blackbeard insists that since Koby is a 'hero' they will be more likely to play ball, and he's kinda right

Koby didn't escape alone either, Perona was there with the clutch, releasing him in exchange for freeing Moria

A big dude is cleaning house, and when he gets beheaded he just gets back up, a clay fruit maybe?

Oda, my dude, my man, my bro, my lord...we just came back from a break what do you mean break next week????

It's been a big month for Conqueror's Haki at least. Now I am curious though how Garp and Shanks' haki compare, because we've had similar feats of strength back to back.

What's concerning right now though is that Blackbeard's main captains didn't get involved; we've got a lot of marines now faced with Blackbeard's captains, Koby's likely gonna have to free Moria in this to maintain his bargain with Perona too. I am concerned, it's the early flex that makes you feel too comfortable. Still, seeing all of SWORD's skills are cool, I kinda hope Tashigi gets a chance to shine if we remain here but I also do worry for her the most because of prior treatment.

We got confirmation on all the BB fruits now, kinda...we know Lafitte has a fruit we just don't know what exactly it is, I'm curious how they'd match against the Straw Hats too, Pizarro's isn't really one you can easily fight, even though he'd make quite a big target. Blackbeard's plan to be a king is interesting too, I mean he's a Yonko right now is he trying to build a pirate empire like Crocodile and Kaido was with Utopia and New Onigashima? Or is this just another one of his 4D Chess plans?

I am more certain now too that Aokiji is the one who rolled up to Egghead, the only one other than him unaccounted for in present time is Lafitte and Devon and they do seem to come in groups. His explanation of SWORD does show that he knew of it, but we still can't rule out that he's a part of it too.

The break after the last break does sting I must admit, but maybe Oda is cooking something big again, we've got so many moving pieces still and with SWORD vs Fullalead added in it's all gonna have to blend together eventually.

The pieces are there, Oda's just gonna connect the dots on his own time.

I reread the Act 2/3 break chapters and I like 1080 even more now.

Drake and Koby’s conversation in 956 is them realizing that the World Government is afraid of Kaido, so instead of doing their job and fighting the pirates, the heads of the organization, Sakazuki’s bosses, would rather sit back and send in undercover agents to Wano to make a deal with Orochi for their own gain. I hope that gets brought up again at some point as a reason why the WG needs to be torn down/restructured.

By the time Kaido is defeated, the leaders of the World Government are no longer interested in trying to cover up the fact that they did nothing to help people oppressed by pirates, like with Alabasta/Dressrosa. Ryokugyu wanted to make things worse for everyone who did their job for them.

In 957, they are said to be too busy to deal with Kaido and Big Mom forming an alliance, which is immediately followed by seeing some of their members sitting around in a room and talking about pirates who they have no intent to help stop.

Really makes me appreciate Garp and SWORD in 1080 for like actually doing something to keep Blackbeard from acting in whatever ways he wants.

Everybody Is Dead...!

In the Metal Fight Beyblade verse, Rago is capable via Diablo Nemesis of absorbing the power of his opponent and gaining their abilities. He can also gain the abilities and power of everyone that opponent has fought from the beginning to the present.

Despite this, Pluto states that Nemesis has the power of every bey in the world by the time he and Rago do battle with the Legendary Bladers and company. It opens the door to a potential trickle down effect that would go on and on. It makes Rago's main ability one of the most horrifying in any verse.

This got me thinking about another potential trickle down that could be applied to another overpowered deity. This one being of light rather than destruction. Galeem. Due to the incredible amount of crossovers and cameos that can be traced via some path to someone within the Super Smash Bros verse, there's a disturbing amount of verses that are almost certainly reduced to non-existence alongside everyone that ever existed within that verse by the Lord of Light and it's "Everybody Is Dead" attack. That isn't counting restoring the verses back into existence and shuffling them while everyone in them become mindless slaves. Even the verses with stages, Mii outfits and music have potential to be completely screwed. A scenario like this would represent the absolute highest limit of Galeem's power...

One Piece-Chapter Round-Up(Chapter 1080)

This chapter we whip around to another part of the world to see our favourite fearless hero rescuing his protege. This makes me straight up terrified ya’ll. I’ll go into why later. Though this might seem like a pretty self-contained chapter, it puts forward some heavy implications about the state of conflicts going forward. Mainly, how many different factions there will actually be. Oda usually likes to keep the focus pretty dialed in on the Strawhats so it was wild that he not only cut away to Law, but also Sabo and Kid. And now with this focus on Koby, he makes his intentions clear. Not only will this upcoming conflict focus on the newer generation, Luffy as a Pirate, Coby as a Government Agent, and Sabo as a Revolutionary, but many, many factions will be involved, including the Revolutionary Army, The World Government, SWORD, The Strawhats, The Red-Haired Pirates, The Blackbeard Pirates, and Cross Guild. And the reason why Oda’s cutting away so much is that he needs us to understand how it all came together. This is the world that the Marineford War set into place, and it shows that the death of one of the strongest people in history, Whitebeard, was only the lighting of a powder keg. I’m gonna go in-depth on this chapter past the “Keep reading” so check it out for more thoughts.

Okay, so there’s no way Garp makes it out of this alive, right? Both sides can’t make it out of this unscathed so there needs to be some sort of give from one side. Blackbeard needed to split his focus among several places and getting Poneglyph rubbings were a priority for him so he went to the least contested island the victors of Wano were going to. By splitting Blackbeard’s crew Oda gets to do a few things. Through the story he gets to showcase the different abilities of the Blackbeard Pirates in order to set them up as proper rivals to the Strawhats, and as Blackbeard he gets to show us his priorities. First of all, let’s look at the breakdown again.  So since Van Auger, Burgess, and Doc Q were with Blackbeard fighting Law, and Shiryu, Pizarro, Sanjuan Wolf and Vasco Shot are on Hachinosu, that leaves Catarina Devon and Lafitte with Aokiji on Egghead. Let’s examine the dynamics there because I think Blackbeard’s about to betray Aokiji and Moria is actually the tenth titanic captain.

First of all, knowing he would fight someone quite capable he brought his homies with him. He only needs one guaranteed victory. So why send someone to egghead? And with only 3 people as opposed to the 4 each on Hachinosu and against Law? Because Catarina Devon and Lafitte, the two sneakiest members of the Blackbeard Pirates, aren’t there to help Aokiji take anyone down. They’re there to kill Aokiji. Maybe if it’s me imagining things and giving Blackbeard too much credit but he’s not dumb. As soon as Aokiji is forced to explain SWORD, Blackbeard’s whole demeanor changes. I do believe he intended to use Koby as a bargaining chip but now he’s possible bait. I think Blackbeard has realized that Aokiji is SWORD and is sending Lafitte and Devon there with him to assassinate him. I think this would be confirmed we see Lafitte and some other person with Aokiji since if Devon is disguised in front of Aokiji, it’s him she’s trying to trick. 

Next, narratively I don’t think it makes sense for Garp to get out of this alive. One, it would be an excellent chance for Garp to pass on his will to Koby and second it would provide more motivation for Luffy to take down Blackbeard. It’s also is a good chance to show off his powers and introduce us to his squad that he’ll sacrifice himself for. I just don’t see him having a part in the final fight going forward. And that brings us to one key thing, that decides if Hachinosu itself is a trap for Garp or not. And that’s if Blackbeard knows how much Koby means to Garp. If he does, this whole thing with Koby trying to free Moria could be a trap. While Moria loves his crew, why would he stand up to such a ruthless pirate such as Blackbeard and why would Blackbeard even leave him alive? The only other reason than it being a trap is that Blackbeard hasn’t found who he will give Moria’s fruit to and the previous owner needs to be alive before the transition. Also there’s the fact that Blackbeard has beef with Garp since Blackbeard we clearly in some way shape or form an admirer of Xebec, who was officially taken down by Garp. Maybe that’s why he was originally going after Luffy before switching his focus to Ace. 

In this chapter we find out the fruit’s of some of the other titanic captains and get another mention of the rocky port incident in which Blackbeard acqquired Hachinosu with Koby’s help after Law instigated it. I really love how it flavours the world as this huge event that took place while we weren’t observing Luffy. Pizarro ate the island-island fruit which seems to be an evolution of Pica's fruit the same way Akainu’s fruit is an evolution to the mera-mera-no-mi. Vasco Shot has a fire based fruit and Sanjuan Wolf ate a giagantification fruit which I guess makes him able to become even bigger. This chapter, more than anything seems to be setting up for the future conflict by letting us see the players in action before the final conflict as we also see some Marine’s in action like Kujaku with her whip-whip fruit that can command inanimate objects, Prince Grus with his squelch-squelch fruit that probably made the clay infantry, and Hibari, who can use some variety of powers. While most marines seem to match up against pirates, it seems these agents, who are probably SWORD, match up more with the revolutionary army, with Kujaku mirroring Belo Betty, Prince Grus mirroring Kurasu, and Hibari mirroring Koala while being a tsundere like Pudding.

I really love the characterization this chapter. Koby is such a damn hero while also putting into perspective how terrible his life has been that he doesn’t believe anyone would rescue him. I really want him to know the lengths that Hibari and Helmeppo went to save after this cause my boy needs to know his self worth. I also adore that Garp put on such a huge display of love for Koby. Believe in your worth Koby, you’re a gem. Koby also readily sacrifices himself to be bait and even looks death in the eyes calmly, he’s rreally shaping up to be a great rival to Luffy. He’s still got a ways to go as Luffy is already a Yonkou. We also see that Blackbeard probably trusts Shiryu a lot as he left him in charge of three incredibly destructive people in San Juan Wolf, Pizarro, and Vasco Shot.

With Oda jumping around so much, I don’t know where the story is going to go next but I’d love to see this conflict play out fully. We might head back to Egghead before cleaning this one up just like we did with the Kid conflict. Either way, we’re in for another break week so strap in folks.

Conspiracy theories were born overnight after the assassination of President John F. Kennedy just shy of 60 years ago on Nov. 22, 1963.

What many such theories lack, however, is a solid connection to those who became eyewitnesses, of Kennedy’s murder and Lee Harvey Oswald’s two days later in the basement of the Dallas Police station. Reporters assigned to cover tragedies are quite naturally required to locate as many authentic witnesses as possible. And that is easily the most spellbinding feature of JFK: One Day in America , which debuts tonight as a National Geographic docuseries.

Many of the people interviewed are now in their 90s, so this may be the last opportunity to hear their stories — which are stunning.

Those featured include Peggy Simpson, the only female Associated Press reporter working in Texas in 1963 and an eyewitness to Oswald’s shooting; Rusty Robbins, a Dallas police officer who knew Jack Ruby; Bill Mercer, a local reporter for KRLD-AM (1080) and the first to inform Oswald that he had been charged with the president’s murder; Buell Frazier, who drove Oswald to work on the morning of Nov. 22, 1963, when his co-worker was taking to the office a long, brown, cylindrical package; Gayle and Bill Newman, whom the filmmakers describe as “the closest living civilian witnesses to the shooting;” retired Secret Service agent Clint Hill, who jumped on the back of the president’s limousine within seconds of shots hitting the vehicle; and Ruth Paine, who later regretted letting Marina Oswald, the wife of the accused, and their children, live in Paine’s Irving home.

Regardless of where you might land in the lone gunman versus conspiracy debate, this much is indisputable: The testimony of such direct witnesses is staggering.
