Have been rereading some of my favorite old wangxian fics and its actually fucking insane the extent to which the wangxian writers of this beautiful fandom INVENTED chemistry. Like jesus christ nothing compares, I'm so ensorcelled by the extent to which wangxian 1. think the other is interesting and fun 2. want each other 3. the TENSION of that

#this is inspired by reading that doctor flowers varnes fic #and then the inception varnes fic #again i am just not seeing this kind of insane chemistry genuinely anywhere rn #and that pip fic where wei wuxian locks them in the locker room lol #and that tepre a lifetime of study fic jesus CHRIST #altho honestly tepre could impart chemistry to like #an apple in a paper bag lol #anyway i just think its really cool to see things that fanfic does much better than the bulk of published work #specifically my favorite fics from this fandom #its also that each of these fics has a slightly different dynamic #each more sizzling and interesting than the last
