You know I'm not very proud of this....this day i was seriously running blanks in my mind for what to do for this day, but i knew i wanted to do junkrat. I did @overdrugs-mayhem junkrat from the shapeshifter AU they have, I'm hoping i have something for tomorrow. idk y i just wasn't inspired today, but any hope i hope you like this shit drawing XD

Hello Anon! We actually considered the Hyena’s form for a while because of the typical laugh and the back conformation but in the end we went for the African Wild Dog because they are more slim and twitchy. The coat looked more greasy with all the patches and they have this long muzzle and big ears that kind of make them look like a canine version of a rat ahaha They’re also really social and caring towards the other member of their pack, which we tought was fitting for him since he stick to RoadHog and never leave his side :) Plus they make the most adorable squeaking sound ❤

The Junkers will come, sooner or later. Don’t worry ;PJack has already met both the Junkers Pack and the Junker Duo. He met the Junker Pack (not directly Junkrat, just the leader and other of the Pack) when he was still in the Blackwatch Clan because the two pack/clan shared a border. Then, after the incident in the pack, Junkrat was the only survivor and “owner” of the land, so Jack, after leaving the Blackwatch Clan, finds him and ask his permission to stay in his territory. Junkrat, well, he said yes... but he forgets a lot of stuff. Morrison’s Clan met up with the Junkers in different occasions since that they live so close, but they mostly get along (unless Junkrat paranoia kicks in!)

Where Junkrat and Roadhog?

Junkrat and Roadhog teamed up together after Junkrat lost his whole clan in a terrible incident (that he caused, even if he doesn’t quite remember it). Roadhog built a little shed near a mud pit and he was living a quiet but lonely life, surrounded only by its piglets friends, when Junkrat started following him casually, searching for its protection. At first, Roadie thought that Junkrat wanted to snatch some piggies and run away with a meal but after a while, Junkrat just decided that they were friends and started to hang out with him. ʕ•́ᴥ•̀ʔっ

I'm definitely not into au's. But after discovering that you actually have a whole au surrounding your OW art, it was too cute for me not to like. I'd just like to mention how good of a choice a wild dog is for Junkrat! Have you heard of the news article where a lone wild dog actually befriended a pair of jackals and even cared for their pups? Wild dogs can easily thrive on their own but they need a pack to be happy. Just like our lovely junk boy!

Just curious as to why you made Jamison an African wild dog and not a dingo instead? :o

Dingo seemed to “squared” to us, even if we consider it. We chose the African Wild Dog because they’re so nimble and thin (looks muddy all the time) and reeeally active!
