Presented on a skateboard triptych, this piece features the iconic Free South Africa artwork by Keith Haring as part of the 2022 THE SKATEROOM collection.

Throughout his career, Keith Haring created murals, sculptures and paintings for hospitals, groups for disadvantaged children and various community health organisations.

Before his death, Keith Haring established a foundation in his name to preserve and strengthen his legacy of donations to children's and AIDS organisations. The foundation is also committed to maintaining and expanding public awareness of Keith Haring.

People were more interested in the phenomena than the art itself. This, combined with the growing interest in collecting art as an investment and the resultant boom in the art market, made it a difficult time for a young artist to remain sincere without becoming cynical.
