My first blog post of 2025. I combined two weeks worth of roundups because I didn't have a chance to post last week. This roundup cover Africa, What Lurks Beneath, Golden Shrike, and seven pages of Home.

I also aired some of my dislike of The Dragon Slayer comic. Let's say for that one, I've paused reading it for now and haven't read a single page since last Sunday. I did not enjoy how those pages went down, and stepping away for a while seems like the best course of action.

New animation just dropped :D This one is for "Nothing Left To Lose" project hosted by Panthera Arven (ARVEN92), an artist behind an amazing "Africa" comic! This baby Bibi is one of the characters we meet there!

Storm #7 (2025) promises to reintroduce a number of thunder gods (including Shango, the West African God of Thunder & Lightning) to the Marvel Universe in a tale by Murewa Ayodele, with art by Luciano Vecchio!

Thor Annual #10 (1982) saw Shango, also known as Xevioso, team-up with Thor & other gods to battle the powerful Demogorge, the God Eater!

Dr. Strange, Sorcerer Supreme #17 (1990) revealed the lineage of Shango & his brethren of the Vodū, the pantheon of West African gods!

Thor & Hercules: Encyclopaedia Mythologica #1 (2009) revealed the origin of Shango & his fellow Vodū, the Gods of West Africa!

2023 was a year of growth and chaos for me.

Unfortunately, the chaos was quite hard to handle, therefore i needed any kind of break life could offer. "No activity on social media" was my safe way (among others) and thankfully, I have quite the experience in being a ghost on the internet.

Hence, after some time i return in 2024 with renewed energy and a some late 2023 illustration !

I love how Evan and Logan were so protective of Ororo in "African Storm"

Logan already knows who the Hungan are... you could definitely see it in his face when Marumbo (I think that's how you spell his name 😅😬) tells him they took her... this points to the possible fact that either she told him about them, Xavier told him, or maybe he encountered them first hand, possibly with her... possibly in Africa...

Let's not forget that in the first movie, he went to Africa to... and the movies did have an effect on the show...
