Trigger warning to those that don’t like panic attacks, but becomes fluffy at the end
“Katsuki?”
His eyes were dark, he looks like he haven’t slept in weeks, and it’s only been a year since the war ended. Granted, everybody was finally able to sleep regularly again, but apparently you must have been wrong.
“I—“
He couldn’t get the words out, his fits were shaking from how hard we was clenching them, his tired eyes began to water, you knew.
“C’mere.” You pull him into your arms, you feel your shoulder dampening and it was a signal for you to squeeze tighter once you shut your door. You couldn’t even move feeling his arms squeeze tighter against your waist. “I’m right here.”
Even though Bakugo managed to live. Managed to pass though rehab, managed to become a big part of fighting against AFO he still has nightmares.
They started off as just seeing himself nearly die but he wakes up right before it happens. But now he’s having nightmares about you. How you took his place instead of him.
This nightmare he seen your body, lying there, tears dried by your eyes, by the time bakugo ran to you Shigiraki turned your body into dust.
It was horrifying.
He woke up in a frenzy, hot, sweating, immediately running out his room to your dorm, his heavy feet nearly sprinting to your room he needed to just double check he almost bust down your door if you haven’t opened it right as he arrived.
“You—-“
“It’s okay….you’re okay—“
“BUT YOU WEREN’T…you…you….” His voice was so shattered. He couldn’t explain it to you, but you had an inkling what he could’ve meant.
He has been going to your dorm a lot lately. Using the excuse “I’m just checking up on YOU.” But in reality it’s you checking on him. He’ll come right before bed and sleep over or come in while you’re sleep and lay on your couch and once with you on the opposite side of your bed.
You couldn’t move, hearing his sniffles tore your heart a little, his breathing was shallow you could feel his heart rate grow faster, his body was shaking and you immediately began to fall on your knees, back on the wall rubbing his back .”I’m right here Katsuki…it’s okay just match my breathing.”
Not wanting to panic either you regulated your breathing for him to copy you, his teeth were gritting to hard you felt it against your shoulder, “C’mon there you go…..just breathe….”
After a few minutes He began to calm down. Your shirt was damp with tears but you knew better than to force him to look at you. So you waited until he did the first move.
Bakugo covered his face with his palm, pausing before attempting to wipe all his tears off his face.
He failed.
You took his hand, palms so sweaty it was nearly slippery to hold up with a firm grip you guided him to your bed. “Stay here tonight.”
He didn’t reply nor negate, he just followed suit. He’d usually have his back facing you, but felt himself willingly fall onto your chest.
“They’re soft right?” You weakly joke about your breast he is laid on, trying to see if he’ll respond, you smile hearing a weak chuckle come out his nose before he snuggles himself between them deeper.
Your fingers run though his soft hair, his heartbeat was in tandem with yours as you felt his chest against your belly.
Bakugo usually handles his panic attacks alone, but for the first time he actually was so happy to have someone like you there with him. His teary eye peaks from the side, you wipe the remnant of tears from his cheek and he nearly melts to your touch.
It was probably the best sleep he has ever had in months thanks to you.

@hhbluedynamite I’m going to make separate post here to address this. Tumblr mobile is a pain and I can’t add all picture examples I want to it here goes.
This has been a debate ever since My Hero came out,
“Why are All Mights eyes black?”
There’s been multiple explanations from how his borrowed quirk works to simply his own emaciated state. I’ve come up with my own theory. It’s said the eyes are the windows to the soul. I believe All Might’s eyes grow darker the more “weight” he carries.
For example,
When All Might was a kid, his eyes were normal. White. After losing his family, rendering him an orphan, white. Even after losing Nana, still he looked normal.
And after first releasing to the public.
This is because although he’d already been thru hell and back emotionally, he’s still normal. Even with his quirk.
Then, after he’d been in the game a while, they suddenly darkened.
Why?
Because by that time, the full gravity of his position, his responsibility and the realization he was essentially alone in that place, had fully sunk in.
Because he was so over powered above everyone else, everyone including the heroes left him to take care of almost everything they felt was too hard. And because he’s a selfless person at heart without a care to his own safety, he willingly allowed it to happen without asking for help. He didn’t want to risk losing anyone else. Which is also why he didn’t take on any sidekicks.
Until Nighteye.
Vigilantes showed us Toshinori when he wasn’t being All Might. And his eyes turn back into white in his more relaxed form, albeit with tired lines beneath them. However this is when he had Nighteye to count on. And Nighteye can see the future, so perhaps he would be safe, right? Well we know what happened there.
After he and Nighteye break up go their separate ways, we never see Toshinori with white eyes again. (Unless I’m forgetting so please tell me if I am). Now he’s injured, only a handful of people to trust, and none can truly understand what he’s going through. At this time he truly is alone, and the one thing that gives him joy is slowly but surely being fizzled out within him.
All Might’s eyes continued to remain black for years. Even after giving his quirk to Izuku. He still felt the weight of the world on his shoulders because he feared for Izuku’s safety. Blamed himself for every scar and Injury the boy suffered thru. Even though he was retired, nothing had changed. In fact it was worse now, because he could do nothing to help anymore.
And then he gains support items to face AFO for the last time. He’s a distraction, a willing sacrifice to slow the monster down, and he couldn’t be happier. We see the whites of his for the first time. All through the fight we see them, shaded albeit, but they’re there.
When he speaks to Nighteye asking if this isn’t the place he was meant to die, Nighteye confirms that it is. The fact that he’s still alive makes him raise the question, why is he still here then? I’m the mentor, Izuku is a ready and worthy apprentice. He doesn’t need me anymore. I’m supposed to be dead by now. His eyes seem darker here, as if the weight and his own depression have increased again. Perhaps begrudgingly accepting his fate.
But then here after Nighteye tells him he reads too many comic books, and that there’s no way he would go out that way, we get a closer look. Although his eyes are still shrouded in black because of his emaciated state. His eyes themselves are clearer, brighter. Even if Nighteye is only in his head, his words are still bringing him hope deep down.
While being tended to medically, his eyes are dark again, though I believe this is mainly due to him barely being alive and conscious at this point. And they’re still white, more than we’re used to seeing.
Finally after the war while they’re recovering, his eyes remain white, though they’re still shaded. The weight is still present. His work isn’t done yet. Izuku is losing his quirk, and he still feels like a failure in some sense because of that. Also because he and Bakugo almost died. And because of everyone who did die in the war all because he failed to stop AFO after three tries.
People who weren’t qualified to be heroes were even involved in this battle. And he thinks it unfair to hold such high standards when there are people who can still help, even if not at the extreme levels of the top heroes. He and Deku are proof of that!
In the last chapter several years later, we finally see Old Man Might! And his eyes-they’re so bright. ❤️
Of course they’ll always have a little shadow to them because of his sunken in appearance, but the tired lines under his eyes are gone. There’s not the black bags from pushing himself too hard, just the normal wrinkles that come with age.
This is Toshinori that’s been missing for decades. The man whose impossible weight has finally been lifted off his shoulders. He knows he can finally relax, he doesn’t have to be on alert or on call anymore. The world is safe without him.
He even found a way for Izuku to keep up his hero work with a suit similar to his own during the war (though most definitely suped up).
Finally, he can be at peace. His body, soul, and mind can finally begin to heal. He can work through all of the trauma he’s been stuffing down all of his life.
Finally, he can live.

Why does everyone treat Hawks having always been an assassin as canon? I know he was brought in as a replacement for Nagant but as far as I’m aware there’s no actual proof he killed anyone before twice
You're right! We've never been explicitly told he has a kill-count of anything but 1 (rip Jin). However (honestly you knew this would make me actually write, didn't you?)....
1. The HSPC has changed (somewhat)
It's spelled out to us that Madame Prez wasn't like her predecessor. Her methods weren't as brutal, she was way into a war of information. In some ways, crueler. Kaina wasn't executed - instead she had her hair shorn and was defamed, humiliated.
Nagant assumes Keigo has been used like her. Horikoshi says Madame Prez groomed Keigo from a much earlier age than the middle school-aged Kaina so he had way less ability to leave or question (additionally, he was so sheltered from society and marginalized that he simply would have been incapable until he was an adult).
This is what the story says outright. So, yes, you're right - everything else is speculation. But then the question is why people believe this is canon outside of the typical abysmal literacy found in this fandom?
2. But Hawks being Hawks doesn't Make It Easier
Truth be told, I'm on your side. I used to very much doubt he had much of a body/kill count. I still think it might be single digits if we consider actually murdering someone with his own hands/quirk, though I suspect he might be responsible for deaths in other ways. I would have completely accepted Jin being his first (and only at this point) murder.
So why did I change my mind about this? Simply; Keigo's a fucking freak. I say this with love.
Every so often Keigo says or does something in this manga that both confirms he's kind of insane and in a very different moral space than everyone else, and just off-handedly mentioning he went and, after being subjected to third degree burns and essentially losing limbs, immediately went to eliminate every last sample even after the battle (where he was carried off by Tokoyami mind you) as in....destroying Jin's body or ensuring no one can use it. He's offended when it's clear Dabi got the better of him with this.
Mind you, he's the world champion at repressing his feelings, duh, but the fascinating way he speaks about this (a minute after screaming they NEED TO KILL JIN AGAIN) speaks volumes. Keigo's completely undaunted about handling death and its aftermath. If he's never killed before, he's been certainly trained to in a way that he handles it professionally.
There's one more thing that makes me think Keigo did kill before Jin. We can argue over how much Keigo hesitated killing Jin, but I think it's a point in that he did in how much he ABSOLUTELY does not with All For One.
Like he does not hesitate. Immediately tries to put a feather-knife through his brain. Logically, I mean, I think anyone would try to one-shot AFO because the more time the man that has (until he rewound himself) the more time he has to fuck you up, but still. He tries to stab through his man's head as soon as he gets out of the portal.
Here's Keigo just admitting it, albeit saying he expected it wouldn't work, but really, he's more apologizing he can't immediately kill this man.
No hesitance.
My final piece of evidence is that Keigo is currently walking around Japan in a suit with a katana begging mfers to "try it bitch". Like being quirkless, not a hero, none of that is stopping him if he needs to defend himself. And it's not like he can pin someone away with his feathers. Nor does he have dozens of daggers at his disposal anymore, just one blade. He's the type to try and finish things quickly as the manga has shown time and time again. I really hope no one actually tries to assassinate him because there's an extreme likelihood he'll just decapitate them in the SPC boardroom.
3. Red, Red Hands
To recap, we know Keigo has been trained to kill, in a multitude of ways (and not only with his quirk), and has always seen killing as option/tool he can use. The HSPC might not be as eager to kill as Kaina's era was, but they raised Keigo with the intent to use him to be able to kill people and cover it up. While there's no proof of other murders, there's proof he's been given the training, tools, and expectation to kill. And his attitude towards killing isn't making it seem like he's not done it before. Of course, he's not agonizing over it like Kaina, which makes me think he was used sparingly to kill.
But the other thing to ask is - will Keigo continue to kill (and not like in personal defense) or lead to the deaths of others? He's already set on reforming the Public Safety Commission by allowing for the reform of Villains who cooperate, renaming the Commission to distance itself from solely heroism... We're still a few chapters away of seeing what this new president has in store for society and how he'll distinguish his methods from the people who created him, but we also have two hundred and fifty chapters of him expressing dislike of how he's used, so perhaps it's fair to say he's not continuing the cycle?

i have a question about this chapter
in the beginning, bakugou says “i’m done messing around izuku(?)” but i’m confused on what it means. does this mean that he isn’t gonna treat him horribly anymore or he’s done messing around and he’s coming into his own (quirk/name/person)?
Didn't wanna answer until I published the translation.
もうおめーの邪魔はしねえ もうおめーのじゃまはしねえ mou omee no jama wa shinee I won't get in your way anymore.* (*Note: This is a sentence that could have many potential translations: "I won't get in your way anymore," "I won't hold you back anymore," "I won't be a hindrance to you anymore," etc.)
This is one of those "Katsuki Bakugou contains multitudes" lines where he means a lot of things at the same time.
The surface-level, pseudo-obvious meaning is that Katsuki won't be a jerk to Izuku--but that doesn't actually make sense, because he isn't a jerk to Izuku anymore. That shit is long over.
I think the key to understanding this line lies in chapter 406:
The major struggle Katsuki has had throughout this final arc is about his sense of inferiority compared to Izuku. Remember, he was revived at the time when he could save All Might from AFO and make up for his perceived weakness that caused All Might's downfall.
So in one sense, Katsuki is saying he's strong now. His lack of power will no longer be a burden. Now he can run alongside Izuku and match his pace and support him without Izuku ever having to worry.
But there is also some deeper meaning behind that sentiment, one that's had roots in Katsuki's journey through the entire story, since chapter 1.
It's Katsuki's relationship with victimhood.
From the beginning, the one insecurity within Katsuki that was so great he would actually kind of voice it aloud was his fear that he couldn't match up to Izuku and that Izuku looked down on him for it.
And this all ties back into his insecurities about his role in All Might's downfall. All of this was a major point of what "Deku vs Kacchan, Part 2" was all about.
It's something I dissected a long time ago here:
So it's not that Katsuki wants to protect Izuku; Katsuki doesn't want to be the reason for Izuku's downfall.
And here:
Katsuki lightens Izuku’s load by looking out for everyone else, and this is why Katsuki works so well as Izuku’s weakness. He’s become the cornerstone of Izuku’s house of cards. As much as he hates being a weakness, Katsuki can’t just make it stop by telling Izuku not to care. Izuku will keep on caring regardless. So instead Katsuki has to convince Izuku that Katsuki is stronger so Izuku will keep chasing after him. Izuku needs to believe Katsuki is stronger in order to get stronger himself. Katsuki needs Izuku to believe Katsuki can handle himself, that Izuku can trust him, so they can work as a team and compensate for each other’s weaknesses.
Katsuki acknowledges in his apology in chapter 322 that Izuku is on the right path, that all his moves since receiving OFA have been correct. Katsuki has been a roadblock hindering Izuku and holding him back--yes, often by rejecting him and competing maliciously with him, but also by being too weak to stand at Izuku's side. He was caught by the sludge villain, kidnapped by the League of Villains, lethally stabbed and later nearly killed by TomurAFO. He wasn't the strong hero like All Might that fought to win and save the day. He wasn't an equal partner.
What I read when Katsuki says he won't get in Izuku's way anymore is that he's done it, he's strong enough to stand at Izuku's side, he's strong enough to let Izuku do what he does best, he's strong enough to support Izuku as Izuku strives to achieve what only he can achieve. AND I read Katsuki saying "I am no longer that weak person, I am no longer a burden, I am no longer NOT a hero, no longer NOT the hero I needed to be."
"I won't be a weakness others can exploit to get to you anymore."
(And I read that he's ready to let Izuku be the main character.)

Tomura Shigaraki x Reader NSFW
Imagine being kidnapped by All For One and being sent to Dr. Giraki only to be transformed into a Nomu plaything for Tomura Shigaraki. You’re still conscious and understand everything that’s happening and feeling everything but there’s some kind of buffer between your consciousness and your brain. You were made as a surprise for Tomura since you had a unique quirk that made it impossible for quirks to harm you. Since Tomura’s decay doesn’t work on you, AFO decided you’d be the perfect obedient toy for his successor.
When you’re given to Tomura, originally he doesn’t see the benefit of having you and fails to destroy you. After some time he gets horny one day and decides to make you suck him off. Unable to stop yourself, your body immediately obeys and begins suckling on Shigaraki’s cock. As your body obeys his commands, he soon comes and orders you to swallow it, to which you do. Tomura then realizes that you’ll do whatever he says. So he decides to explore what else you can do. He orders you to get on the bed on your hands and knees and you obey.
Tomura begins to inspect your body, running his hands over your curves and squeezing your flesh. When he reaches your nipples, he grins wickedly and pitches them before twisting them and pulling downwards. Seeing you not so much as flinch he squeezes your chest hard and gropes at your chest. Pinching, pulling and flicking your nipples in an attempt to get a reaction out of you. All the while your consciousness is in tears from his touch. When his torment of your nipples fails to make you flinch, he moves his attention downwards.
Seeing your ass on display. Shigaraki smacks it as hard as he can sending you forward a bit. He then orders you to spread your legs to which your body obeys. Seeing your cute little clit (if you’re a male, then Giraki had messed around with your body reducing the size of your cock and giving you a pussy) shigaraki pinches it and tugs downwards on it. Swirling his fingers around your swollen clit, flicking it, pinching it and pulling it, he decides to try and see if sucking on it will get a reaction out of you. As his lips close around it, he begins to suck hard on your clit, rough strong sucks pull at your poor swollen clit as he then bites it, rubbing it between his teeth.
While he’s busy with your clit, his hands wander towards your pussy. Feeling how wet you are from his constant torment he grins and releases your poor clit.
“Seems as though you’re enjoying this. You don’t even care how rough I am with you, I could destroy you and you’d still get off on it, but don’t worry, I’m going to make sure I put you to good use, after all, you’re only here for my pleasure. I wonder if you can even feel anything I’m doing?”
Tomura gives your cunt a harsh slap and digs his fingers deep inside of your pussy. As his two fingers roughly swirl and grind against your insides he inserts a third finger. As he stretches your cunt he pulls off his pants and boxers and uses his other hand to smear some of your juices on his cock. Without even so much as a warning, his cock quickly replaces his fingers as he ruts into you. He grabs your hips and pulls back before slamming his hips back into you. He begins a moderately slow pace of thrusting into your tight heat for a few moments before his pace speeds up. As his pace increases he pushes your head down and this new angle allows his to hit that spongey spot inside you just right. He moans as your walls clamp down on him and he starts swinging his hips harder.
As his pace increases he reaches around and pinches your swollen clit, giving it a few harsh tugs as he nears his climax. When he finally comes he tugs on your clit one last time while his other hand squeezes your chest as he fills you with his cum. After a few moments he pulls out and gives your cunt a harsh slap. After that he pulls on his boxers and tells you to go clean yourself up quickly and come right back. Your body shakily moves as it obeys his orders. While Tomura is satisfied, you on the other hand, are still sensitive but you’re unable to fight whatever is making your body obey Shigaraki’s commands.
When you’re done, you enter the room to hear Tomura telling Dabi about you and agreeing to let him use you since you’re unable to spread diseases or infections. You also hear Dabi ask about you and he suggests to Shigaraki to have Giraki upgrade you so you’re able to fulfill specific kinks.
(This literally just crossed my mind so I decided to make something of it. If you’re interested in a part 2 let me know in the comments)

Plus One For All
so guys. can we talk about how there’s somebody chilling out inside of Katsuki’s mind who’s not supposed to be there.
hello there Mister All Might Vestige sir. you should not exist, just FYI. you’re not some Nighteye-type plot hallucination. because if you were, you would not be appearing here as Cloud Might, a version of yourself whom Katsuki has never met and has no frame of reference for. ergo he did not imagine you. ergo you are, in fact, real.
which means Katsuki has One For All.
because that’s the only way he could have a Vestige -- which is indisputably what this is -- inside of him. he has OFA. so. where did he get it. how does he have it. and why is it only making its presence known now.
let’s discuss.
okay so I’m going to try and lay this all out as clearly as possible while also attempting to be as succinct as I can. but knowing me, I’m probably going to wind up sacrificing the latter in pursuit of the former. I’ll do my best though. here goes.
1. Heroes Rising is canon.
which is a fact we’ve recently been reminded of not once, but twice -- first with the appearance of Katsuma and Mahoro in chapter 405, and then in chapter 406 with the “Bakugou no Kacchan” callback. the timing of this almost certainly isn’t coincidental. Horikoshi wants this to be fresh in our minds.
mind you, it is extremely unusual for movies, even technically!canon ones, to actually be relevant to the plot. but BnHA may be one of the few exceptions. we’ve already seen movie 1 impact the series both with Star & Stripe’s backstory, and with Deku’s new gauntlets. so there’s precedent, and it’s something I am paying very close attention to.
2. Deku giving OFA to Bakugou is canon.
just in case anyone here hasn’t yet seen or been spoiled for Heroes Rising, that is in fact what happens in that film! so yeah, that certainly seems like an extremely relevant detail right about now.
3. we never found out why and how Deku got OFA back at the end of the movie.
okay so I was looking for a clip to link before we discuss this next part, but I unfortunately couldn’t find one that hadn’t been edited to avoid copyright issues, so you’ll just have to make do with this.
skip ahead to about 7:10 for the relevant part. for the purposes of this theory, we’re just going to ignore everything All Might says here, because tbh he has no fucking clue what’s actually going on and is just guessing wildly lol. however, I do want you to take note of one thing which will be important later. and that’s the fact that, when OFA “returns” to Deku’s body, it’s only his body which starts glowing, and notably not Kacchan’s. the latter just keeps lying there unglowingly. nothing to indicate any kind of transfer is actually happening between him and Deku, in other words.
moving on.
4. OFA and AFO are probably the same quirk.
as summarized here and here. which is relevant because if they are the same quirk, or close to it, then OFA can most likely do anything AFO can do. so file that away for later.
5. AFO was able to split his quirk and give it to Tomura while still keeping a piece of it for himself.
what’s more, he was able to do the same with Garaki/Ujiko’s quirk, and presumably other quirks as well. while it’s possible that this quirk duplication has nothing to do with AFO and is simply something Garaki was able to figure out using ~*~Science~*~, I think it’s more likely that the two of them used AFO’s quirk in some way to accomplish this feat. particularly since Tomura not only received AFO, but a bunch of its stored up quirkdata as well, such as the information stored in Ragdoll’s stolen Search quirk.
6. OFA responds to Deku’s feelings and desires.
or at least this is the case according to Banjou in chapter 213. recall this interesting conversation on how Deku first activated Blackwhip.
he was thinking that he wanted to capture Monoma, and so OFA obediently activated his “capture Monoma” quirk. despite him being unaware he even had said quirk. it responded to his need, even though he wasn’t consciously trying to activate anything.
now then, let’s revisit that scene in Heroes Rising one more time.
7. during the climax of Heroes Rising, Deku was NOT thinking, “I need to give OFA to Kacchan.”
here’s the scene one more time for reference. this time you’re gonna want to skip to about 3:57.
here’s where we are going to get extremely technical, because this scene right here is the key to everything. Deku’s lines in this scene are, and I quote: “a way we can protect [everyone]... there’s just one way...!” but he very notably does not specify exactly what that “one way” is.
until we get to this scene a minute or so later, which spells it out for us very clearly.
two One For Alls. as in, “with two One For Alls, we could win this battle and save everyone.”
that’s what he was thinking at the moment of the “transfer.” NOT, “give OFA to Kacchan.” but, “we need two One For Alls.”
which, I think, may have made all the difference.
8. OFA created a copy of itself to share with Kacchan, so that both of them could have OFA and use the two OFAs to defeat Nine.
let’s recap. OFA is AFO. AFO can clone itself. so it stands to reason that OFA can presumably clone itself as well. and that’s exactly what Deku wanted to do. make a second One For All.
he didn’t know that he could do that. but as previously established in the Blackwhip incident, OFA is more than capable of making its own executive decisions in key moments just like this in order to help him out.
which would mean that what we saw at the end of Heroes Rising was not OFA being transferred from Bakugou back over to Deku. it was actually just Deku’s OFA briefly self-activating (possibly in response to his delirious apology to All Might -- kind of a “no worries bro, you’ve still got your quirk actually, so go back to sleep and stop stressing over it” type of thing). and Kacchan’s OFA doing... absolutely nothing. it didn’t actually transfer back into Deku. it didn’t actually go anywhere.
let me repeat that: it didn’t actually go anywhere.
in other words, Kacchan still has OFA. and has had it ever since Heroes Rising. he just didn’t realize it. and neither did anybody else.
9. Kacchan’s OFA went dormant once Nine was defeated.
okay, so. remember all of this exposition from chapter 304?
basically, if someone who already has a quirk receives OFA, using it will slowly destroy their body until it kills them. the Vestiges learned this from All Might while he was researching the past generations of OFA in chapter 241, incidentally. Heroes Rising takes place right around this same time (immediately following MVA if I recall). so by the time the film’s climax rolled around, the Vestiges would have known that giving OFA to Kacchan could have devastating consequences down the line if they did not take action immediately after the fight.
so they did.
once Nine was defeated, the Vestiges shut the whole thing down. the crisis was averted, and they no longer had need of a second OFA. they have this boy who is way too similar to Deku in terms of his willingness to put himself in harm’s way in order to achieve his goals. and they absolutely do not want any harm befalling this boy. more on that momentarily.
so they go dark. and they even seal his memory so that he’s no longer aware of even having the quirk. they are essentially in sleep mode. and if circumstances hadn’t eventually become desperate enough to force their hand, they might have remained inactive for the rest of Katsuki’s life.
now, you might be wondering to yourself, “why is OFA willing to go to such unusual lengths in order to protect Katsuki?” and well, the answer to that is pretty simple.
10. Kacchan does not have the same version of OFA as Deku.
Deku is ninth gen. Katsuki, however, is tenth gen. which means that his version of OFA has one additional Vestige. a Vestige whose presence immediately explains why OFA is so goddamn determined to protect him at all costs.
:’)
long story short, while Deku’s version of OFA has proven itself all too willing to enable him in his increasingly suicidal mission, Katsuki’s version of OFA is very much a different story, on account of it being under the management of what I’m guessing is the most willful Vestige ever to exist. and said management being just the slightest bit unhinged when it comes to Katsuki’s safety in particular. seriously, you can’t tell me this is not exactly how a Deku!Vestige would behave. “oh hell no. no OFA for you!! and no memories either, because you can’t be trusted, goddammit. we never should have done this. what the hell were we thinking. if anything happens to him I will kill everyone in this room and then myself.”
so yeah. dormant.
right up until they literally couldn’t afford to be anymore.
11. OFA can self-activate in moments of crisis to protect its user.
Sports Festival. chapter 33. Deku vs. Shinsou.
aw yeah. it’s all coming together.
12. OFA reactivated itself in order to save Katsuki’s life.
I would now like to briefly draw your attention to this scene from chapter 405, in which Edgeshot explains how Katsuki was finally saved. please note my man is very clear that he did not restart Katsuki’s heart himself. he was basically just performing quirk CPR up until Katsuki’s own quirk returned him to life apropros of nothing.
“what brought you back... was the power you’ve honed.”
except... that should have been impossible. because Katsuki was dead. meaning he should not have been able to activate his quirk on his own, on account of the whole “being dead” thing.
however, if he by chance had a quirk with just enough of a mind of its own to activate in critical situations in order to help its user. situations like being forced under mind control. or, perhaps, being stabbed through the heart. well then. that would certainly go a long way towards explaining all of this.
and oh hey, when exactly was it that we saw this guy, again?
oh? it happened at the exact moment when his heart was stabbed through? you don’t say. well that certainly is interesting.
in summary:
Deku cloned his quirk in Heroes Rising and gave Kacchan a copy of OFA. owing to the hyperprotective Deku!Vestige inside Kacchan’s copy of OFA, it shut itself down once Nine was defeated, and all of Katsuki’s memories of having OFA were deliberately wiped, or sealed away. OFA itself remained inactive until TomurAFO stabbed Katsuki through the heart, at which point OFA was forced to reactivate itself to save his life. which it did, by forcibly restarting his heart.
that’s it. no idea how close to the money any of this is, but I think it would explain most of the lingering mysteries and questions about what exactly is going on with Katsuki. and I’ll throw in one last observation as well -- Katsuki has a nine in his name (BaKUgou), but not a ten. which I know sort of contradicts what I was saying earlier about him being the tenth gen, lol. but he both is and isn’t. if Deku split his quirk, Kacchan would in theory receive everything that’s currently in Deku’s quirk right now, and that includes Deku’s own power that he’s been adding to the mix. so he’d still have the Deku!Vestige. but he’s also still ninth gen, because he and Deku are sharing that distinction now. or at least I think the argument could be made at any rate.
so yeah. I’ve been obsessing over all of this for the past few days lol. what do you guys think?
#bakugou katsuki#midoriya izuku#one for all#bnha meta#bnha theory#bakugou meta#bnha#boku no hero academia#bnha spoilers#mha spoilers#bnha manga spoilers#makeste reads bnha#it's also possible that I put way too much thought into this and in actuality katsuki is just using the OFA embers#or something else along those lines#we'll see lol#but in the meantime it's fun to speculate

Drabble-A-Thon Prompt #17
Pairing: ShigaDabi
Rating: Teen
Prompt: Prompted by @zehei. Omega!Dabi who doesn’t know he’s an omega
Contents: ABO, Alpha!Shigaraki, Omega!Dabi, Pre-heat.
Dabi is so focused on looking at the blueprints of the summer camp, his mind reeling from the fact that he’s going up against his brother so soon, that he barely hears Shigaraki when he says,
“Dabi will be the squad leader for this job, unless he’s not around. Then Compress will take point.”
It takes him almost a minute before he looks up, frowning, “Why the fuck wouldn’t I be around?” He can barely be pleased that he is being put in charge after their rocky start, because now he’s wondering if he’s going to be murdered in the next few weeks.
Shigaraki hesitates for a second. “This job is in two months.”
“Yeah?”
“You’ve already been here for one.” He says it slowly like Dabi is a child who can’t do basic math.
“Yeah, what? Do I have a three month lease that I don’t know about?” His own tone starting to turn irritated.
Duster looks almost… embarrassed, but he takes a breath and then says, as bluntly as anything else, “Your heat should hit around then.”
“What?”
“Dabi–”
“What the fuck are you talking about, Shigaraki? I’m not an omega.”
The entire room is dead silent for a long minute.
“...Yes you are.” Shig says slowly. “And that’s fine, your designation doesn’t change my opinion of your ability to lead.”
“Very progressive, incredibly stupid though because I’m not an omega. I’m a beta.”
“No you’re not.” Shigaraki is looking at him like he’s grown another head, and none of the others seem to want to step in. “You’re an omega. Dabi, I’m an alpha, I can smell it on you.”
Yeah, no big surprise that Shigaraki is an alpha. He wears scent patches all the time because it’s just a safer thing to do as a villain who might not want to be tracked down– Compress wears them constantly too– but he always has just had the vibes of an alpha.
“Hate to tell you this, boss, but I think all of the energy drinks and Dorito fumes have killed your nose because my scent glands don’t even work anymore.” Except for the ones on his thighs, all of the others are so covered in scar tissue that he never smells like anything, and he knows that Shigaraki’s head has absolutely not been between his thighs and trying to find his natural scent through the smell of his quirk. “I’m a beta, and unless we’re about to have another go without your keeper breaking us up, I’ll still be here for the summer camp job– though if we do, I guess you won’t be.”
Shigaraki opens his mouth, looking for a second like he wants to argue, but then he closes it, his nails scratching at the patch over his neck and shifts conversation back to the briefing.
///
Dabi thinks that the questions about his designation are done after that, and he goes right back to what he was doing. He’s just not expecting Shigaraki to change so completely afterward. Typically, and he’s not sure if this is at AFO’s behest or not, Duster only comes and sees them when he has work to do. He doesn’t just hang out in the bar with the rest of them shooting the shit. He doesn’t sit on one of Toga’s beanbag chairs in her room as she talks for hours about whatever she’s into this week because she’s fifteen and they have to give her enrichment and socialization or it could fuck up her development more than it already is as her designation is still coming into being. He doesn’t socialize, he leads. But after that meeting, Shigaraki starts to seek him out more.
“Here,” Dabi blinks as he looks up from the crate he’s been using as a desk. He’d left his door open because they don’t have air conditioning in the upper floor of the bar, and the crossbreeze from his window was the only thing keeping him from getting heat stroke inside on a temperate day because of his quirk and inability to properly regulate his. Shig has brought him a small bag of takeout containers and he finds an empty spot to set them.
“Uh, thanks. Did someone order?”
“No, I had a meeting out of the building, and you’ve been working hard on this job. I just thought it would be a nice way to show you how much I appreciate it.”
“O…kay, thanks.” It’s so out of left field that Dabi doesn’t really know what else to say, but Duster doesn’t make him, leaving to let him eat instead.
///
Shigaraki bringing him food becomes such a standard thing over the next two weeks that he kind of starts to get used to it, that he perks up when he hears him coming towards his room after a long day of working, or when he sees him waiting in the bar when he comes back from trying to recruit people. It’s kind of been nice. And one day, when he knows that Duster is going to be back obscenely late because of a meeting he’s supposed to be having with his teacher, Dabi decides to return the favor.
It’s been a while since he cooked for anyone, but by the time the mapo tofu is finished, plated, and has a little sticky note on the bowl to tell Shig it’s for him, Dabi feels strangely content for the first time in… fuck, years maybe.
So he starts doing it whenever he knows Duster is going to be out of the building until late at night.
///
About a week later, Shigaraki comes to his door again, knocking against the frame because it’s open again because Dabi is too hot again despite trying to give himself hypothermia in the shower for an hour.
“Hey,”
“What’s up?” He’s about to flop into bed, and turns to find Shigaraki holding a folded bundle of fabric.
“Got you something to help with the heat.” He says, lifting a neatly folded bundle of fabric as he crosses the room to hand it off. “It’s a cooling blanket, it’s supposed to help pull the heat from your body.”
“Oh, thanks. Guess this means we’re not getting air conditioning here anytime soon?” Dabi takes the bundle, and immediately notes the strange texture on one side that reminds him of a bathing suit, the other a thin cotton. But the blanket is cool to the touch, and he’s willing to try anything at this point.
“No, but after the summer camp job we’ll be moving bases and things will be better there.”
Dabi opens up the blanket to spread it out over his bed, and gets an overwhelming scent that he can’t place. It’s almost more of a feeling than a smell as it hits his nose. Something warm, comforting, and cozy, like drinking a hot chai latte on a cool rainy day. He barely resists the urge to pick it up and shove his nose into it.
“I washed it, after unpacking it– it reeked like packaging. But when you wash it next make sure that you don’t put it in the dryer. The clothes line is off of the fire escape attached to my room if you want me to hang it up for you.”
“Okay, thanks, Shig.”
He’s glad that the other man goes after that, and is even happier that the blanket works phenomenally well, because as soon as he’s gone, Dabi shuts his door so he can curl up with the fabric close, practically purring from how nice it smells and feels.
///
It’s been a couple more days before Twice comes in and shows his skills as a handyman as he puts in brand new locks on his and Toga’s doors.
“Why?”
“Apparently,” Shigaraki says with no small amount of derision, “Mustard tried to sneak into her room to take some of her things. She caught and dealt with him, but I don’t want that happening again. This is your space, and you two should feel safe in it.”
Which, huh, okay. That’s nice too. Shigaraki is a lot different than he thought he was at the start. He’s really not so bad now, and Dabi is starting to think he might be the only alpha he’s ever met who actually lives up to the standards that they pretend to preach.
He likes that he has a lock on his door that night so he can strip down to his boxers and curl up in that good-smelling blanket as he goes to sleep.
///
It’s only two days after that, that they’re having a check-in about the job, Shigaraki sitting on another crate that they dragged into his room since Dabi decided buying furniture wasn’t worth it since they’ll be out of here in a month. It’s pretty late, and he’s already yawning, and whatever caffeine was in Shig’s system must be wearing off, because he doesn’t seem irritated with the work they’re doing, but he’s scratching at his neck almost constantly as the scent patch over his gland must start to flake against his skin from being worn all day.
“It looks like you’re on the right track,” Shig finally says after another ten minutes, and Dabi is almost disappointed, he was pretty certain that he was going to get to see him claw through his own skin with how annoyed he is from the patch. “I think we can pick this up tomorrow.”
“Sounds good.” Dabi stretches as Shigaraki starts to move towards the door, finally giving up on the scent patch and pulling it away from his skin, and dusting it.
The pain that goes through Dabi’s pelvis seems to hit him faster than the alpha’s scent can as it fills his nose. He has been in a lot of different kinds of pain in his life, but he’s never felt himself double over so suddenly with abdominal cramps as a wetness starts to spread across his skin. For a second Dabi thinks that he must be bleeding, that something must have just fucking exploded inside of him and that he’s going to die far too soon, but he doesn’t smell blood. No, he smells that chai and rain smell of his blanket only so much stronger, and an overwhelming, dizzying aroma of burnt sugar. A too-sweet smell that can’t be candy, that has to be slick.
Dabi whines as he feels more of that fluid leak out of him, the pain becoming less intense as a heat starts to build under his skin that has nothing to do with his quirk.
When Shigaraki moves back over to him, carefully cupping his cheeks in his hands and making him look up, his scent concerned and comforting all at once, he can’t help the soft whimper he lets out as his arousal builds even higher. Alpha, his alpha, bringing him food, blankets, making sure he’s safe, comforting him when he’s hurting–
“You’re a fucking bastard,” Dabi hisses, glad that he’s not sobbing as glands he didn’t even know he had are waking up and making him leak.
“You’re an omega.” He reiterates smugly. “And you’ll be able to go on the summer camp job now.”
“I hate you.”
“I know. I have some more blankets for your nest and heat supplies in my room. I’m going to go get them, when I come back, I can help get you settled and go, and you can lock your door so no one else can bother you. Or I can stay and help take care of you through your first heat.”
Dabi wants to be stubborn about this. He didn’t even know that he was an omega, he really doesn’t want to end up pregnant after being fucked by his boss. But he’s… never had sex. Never had time, never really wanted to because, he’s now realizing, his omega body was in such survival mode that his libido was completely destroyed. But the thought of getting to try it now, with the alpha who made sure that he was getting better, who will be able to give him a knot that will hopefully make the pain inside of him ebb, is very, very appealing.
“Go get whatever you bought. I’ll decide if I’m kicking you out and kicking your ass once my heat is over by the time you get back.”
“Okay, firefly.” Shig doesn’t argue, he just looks a little amused, and he lets go of him and turns to leave.
He’s only gone for a couple of minutes, returning with a large shipping box that is saturated in his smell, and as soon as he sees the roll of condoms on top, Dabi stops giving a fuck about anything else. He wants a nest, a knot, and his alpha doting on him throughout his heat. He can kick his ass for being a smug bastard about it when it’s over.
Thank you so much for reading! If you liked it, consider leaving a comment or ask!

Okay I’m going to geek out about Toshinori’s costume designs because I’m an English major and analyzing tiny details in text is what we do and also I love??? The designs! And each one tells us so much about All Might and his focus during each costume.
Costume 1 (Young Might):
So first off, despite young All Might’s longtime dream of being a hero, his suit is mostly black. A stark difference from comics books and his later self which tend to be bright primary colors. The few dashes of primary colors he has are desaturated, even in the second instance where we see this costume. This would have likely been the only costume Toshinori designed himself, as David became his designer in college.
Obviously, others have pointed out the similarities to Nana’s suit, just like how Izuku copied AM’s, so I don’t think it will be necessary for me to point that out. But this suit is also very practical. Something the flashy All Might isn’t really known for, but let me point the details out. He has boots, gauntlets, as well as what appears to be protection for his upper torso, and even for his neck. A decent balance between more protection and more weight, which would slow a hero down. Also, unlike Nana’s suit, his extends completely down the arms. The only skin surface available is that of his hands, something that stays the same through all of his costumes and as such, must be something he personally insists on. In media, gloves often represent someone with secrets, or a guarded personality. All Might not wearing gloves shows how open he is, not just with his friends but strangers too. And it’s humble, too. It’s not an unfeeling, covered hand extending to you when you’re in danger, it’s the bare-handed reach of a friend, and I fully believe that’s why Toshi goes without gloves. Also it’s possibly a sensory thing for him as well, which goes with my canon-supported theory that this man has ADHD, but that’s a nerd rant for another time.
The colors are important because while obviously they mimic Nana, you can practically see through the color choice that Toshinori is not in his right mindset here. While later the oversaturation of colors serves to show how his own heroism has made him into something Else, and outside of his own head, leaving the man inside to shrivel away, these muted colors show that Toshinori has not yet blossomed. Also in the brief scenes we see of him when he is younger, Toshinori is very solemn. The one scene we get of him smiling when he’s young is when Izuku is comparing them at the same age, and even then, it’s more of a smirk as opposed to the signature All Might grin we all know and love. Black also is just a reasonable color for something like crime-fighting. Black shows the least grime/dirt, so he could reasonably spend more hours out in this costume without having to come home and wash it/trade it out. (Which is something that I love that this series includes, by the way!)
Costume 2-ish:
Toshinori adds some shoulder pads for the fight with AFO, probably expecting to stand side-by-side with his mentor. I could give a more full-body image but this is really the only difference I could pick out.
Costume 3 (College Might):
This is the first costume of All Might’s that is designed by David Shield.
First off, props to David. He’s an awesome designer. He not only made a new design, but incorporated several choices from AM’s previous suit, and definitely conferred a lot with Toshi on how he wanted his suit to look while still ensuring its functionality.
Black is traded for a dark, unsaturated blue, giving AM a more peaceful look, as navy blue is considered to be a calming color. (Even Endeavor wears it! But maybe copying AM and not wearing it for the same purposes?) All Might’s cape is also changed from red to blue, taking away the dark look and making it the color of the sky, again adding to that Symbol of Peace idea that is Toshinori’s dream. The gauntlets and boots remain, but the chest-piece has been removed, offering up more mobility. The yellow of his belt has been brightened, and added in place of the blues on his gauntlets and boots, giving him an overall more friendly look as opposed to the more subdued one he had before with the blue accents. The red has been removed as well, and by moving it to his body, it gives the impression of veins and the blood that is pumping away through the heart of this hero, which is fantastic for someone who cares as much as Toshinori does. White was also added vertically on the sides of the suit, thinning out the very intimidating form of Toshi and making him more approachable, while adding a more pure look to his overall form. This appears to be in part, a stylistic choice on David’s end that follows through to the other suits, though it’s hard to know if it remains on the Bronze Age Suit as well.
Overall the brighter colors telegraph that Toshinori is doing much better mentally at this point. He now has A Friend, and for the time being, is safer from the troubles at home, until he has to return.
Costume 4 (Bronze Age):
We don’t even get a full look at this suit, indicating that its time in use was likely short-lived. As I’ve seen others suggest, it seems very likely that when All Might returned to Japan, he went straight down to business and began doing vigilante work as he tried to track down AFO. However, possibly due to a combination of not finding him and All Might’s rising popularity, he seems to abandon this track and move on to a different form of heroism, which his suit symbolizes. I’ll briefly point out that Toshinori returns to the primarily black suit he had as a teenager, as well as the shadows of his face that add to the idea that as soon as he got back to Japan, he reverted to the mindset he had when he left.
Costume 5 (Silver Age):
This suit indicates to me that this period was All Might’s prime, despite his later suit being considered the Golden Age of All Might. (And even though it’s my least-favorite design.) He has the typical cape of a hero, and the bright colors are now fully of typical comic book style. The circular design on his chest indicates a target, but with being cast in white and surrounded in red, gives the impression that he himself is not the target, but the villainy around him is. Or at least, that is likely the thought process for this design. Other than the dashes of white here and there, the colors are very solid, possibly indicating a more stable, but single-minded train of thought, something AM is notorious for. No offense to Dr. Shield, but I would have mixed the colors better in here, and the cape connection is too bulky for someone who’s as jacked in the shoulders as Toshinori is. Alas, I am not the designer. We shall move on.
Costume 6 (Golden Age):
I love this suit. Plenty of analysis has been done on it already, but I think it’s a fantastic representation of how Toshinori’s been crushed under the very image he had originally wanted to create. His shadows are darkest and most severe here, reminiscent of how body-builders dehydrate themselves to get the best appearance of their musculature. His posing is also more inward, as opposed to the silver age, with the angles of his elbows being less directly out and more in, and instead of appearing confident, it’s more of how a cat puffs out its hair to make itself appear larger when it’s scared. I had a long bit to go with this but it was eaten by the Tumblr gremlins. Basically I believe this suit was made post AFO-battle. All Might is declaring he’s not finished yet, all while knowing his time is running out. This suit has several callbacks to the original suit David designed for him, with the navy, though more saturated base and the red lines running throughout the form, though the gauntlets and boots from before have been integrated into the suit itself. This could reflect David’s mindset as well, as he reminisces about the days when Toshinori was healthy and happy, when now Toshinori’s health is rapidly fading.
Anyway, here’s my costume analysis! I think it adds a little more insight to Toshinori’s mental state and situations in the years outside of the show as well as in them, and I hope you enjoyed this read! I’d love to hear other ideas too, if anyone has them!

it's quite masterful how we get the 'Deku's a murderer and Society has learned no lesson' out of the way in the first half so the lasting impression is that Spinner is a hypocritical fanatical criminal. Well, I guess he always has been! That's true. But it's also true that Society is crap here too - the man saying he's glad Shigaraki has been 'exterminated', THE OLD LADY, and Heroes already looking for the next threat. It's the framing that's key, then.
We go from Spinner saying Shigaraki laughed about destruction -> the horizon at Deika -> Shigaraki was his spokesperson -> Shigaraki gave him a dream and purpose -> Shigaraki was his Hero -> Shigaraki was a gamer -> Shigaraki was his first friend.
Starting off with Shigaraki the Villain, and turning into Shigaraki the Hero, then Shigaraki the Person. Plus we have Spinner's crying peaking at the 'friend' bit, so both he and Shigaraki are humanized as the outside world via TV documentary resolutely decides to deny Shigaraki this.
But then Deku comes to reaffirm that friendship - And here is where things starts to shift. Shigaraki also thought of Spinner as a friend... so why couldn't Spinner have done something to save him? If they were friends, Spinner should've helped. Why didn't Spinner act? And thus the blame is part Spinner's for being an unthinking coward, for not being strong enough to resist the momentum.
(There is truth to this too, but I have to wonder - what could he have done? He's in a cave with AFO, getting his own feelings taken advantage of, utterly confused by the changes Shigaraki's going through; while Heroes have shown they're not an option of help - how could they, when they killed Twice and wants to kill Shigaraki, and at the moment is building something called SKY COFFIN DEATH ARENA. Here is Spinner with such limited options, but he should've, could've saved Shigaraki, somehow.)
While Spinner is stewing in this guilt, the TV document gives its last line: "Right now, a second or third Shigaraki Tomura or AFO could be holding their breath/waiting to strike. We must turn our attention to the next threat." We're talking threats again, we talking being on guard for the next big Villain, we're talking as if Shigaraki Tomura and AFO just happens - there's no idea of prevention, the Villain already has it in their mind to attack and is just waiting, like a predator stalking a prey... Setting the tone for Spinner's next scene: he'll be writing a book that will immortalize Shigaraki and the League, and it'll be about how they lived to destroy.
(Like, this makes sense. Of course Spinner's book will be about that destruction, because that destruction is an important element to the friendship: Shigaraki was the first person to become Spinner's friend, to reach through the miasma of oppression and hopelessness, to offer to destroy injustice and give him a purpose and a dream. But the very thing that rightfully endeared Shigaraki to Spinner is what the outside world is currently condemning, and uncaring to understand the reason. This book will only feed into the world's current perceptions. It will not help at all.)
So after reaching that emotional peak, we then descend: Spinner thinks he couldn't save his Hero → documentary line about watching out for the next threat -> Spinner saying he'll write a book that will remind the world Shigaraki and the League lived to destroy -> Spinner reacting angrily at Deku's simple suggestion of making the book a comic (can't he see it's actually encouragement? can't he see it's lighthearted?) -> Spinner's last line being him hypocritically calling the Hero kid who defeated him an anti-heteromorph insult.
And meanwhile, if you can even still remember Deku not denying he's a murderer, Deku's last line here is that he won't forget Shigaraki for the rest of his life. Compassionate. Determined. Noble. (That he showed the world the killing of Shigaraki Tomura so that people can say "I’m so glad he was exterminated!"? That's distant from him, literally - that was the first page, and this is the 11th page.)
This flow is utterly fascinating. It's really is.

Life after NDE
Before reading, please see this post. It’s where I first explored the possibility that what we think we know about One for All is unreliable. It also ends with my own guesses about how Katsuki plays into it all. Now, with chapter 404, I can continue where it left off.
There are a lot of different tangents floating around here that I need to bring together for you, so let’s start with what came to light in this newest chapter. There’s a clear emphasis on Toshinori’s vestige form:
but did you catch the slight of hand?
How about now?
As soon as I saw the panels where Shigaraki talks about how the vestige is taking full form, I was practically shouting “OBJECTION” Ace Attorney-style, because they were a complete contradiction to how we were made to understand vestiges in chapter 304 (oh hey look, exactly 100 chapters ago!). Back then, it was suggested to us that Toshinori was special because of his quirklessness, that it allowed him to imprint upon OFA in a way that none of the other previous users could. In contrast, Shigaraki makes it seem like Toshi is no different from the rest. Like oh yeah, this is just how it works, they aren’t fully formed until they die, right? Hello?? No? I thought we were assuming the vestiges didn't have to do with actual souls, apart from Toshi? Given Shigaraki’s own brand of unreliability in his immature frame of mind, I found myself wondering: is he making an assumption, or is he letting slip a secret bit of information about OFA? Idk man, OFA wasn’t even doing this whole vestige thing until like a few months ago, so.
Either way, we can observe the change. As Toshinori’s lifeforce fades, he appears in OFA. I’m left with the simple observation that if he were truly different from the other vestiges because of his quirklessness, it would not have happened this way, since OFA doesn’t have Toshi’s own unique quirk factor to work with, but rather the other way around. You would have expected his vestige to stay the same, or possibly disappear altogether, since it was ostensibly exclusively based on the influence of a living consciousness.
That exception to the rule described in 304 never sat right with me anyway, and I’m not convinced that OFA contains mere memories of its previous users via their quirks just like AFO does. Sure, it’s nice and edgy to imagine that OFA/AFO are more similar than they are different, deep down. But poetic opposites are more interesting to me: AFO isolates by taking, while OFA connects by giving. Previous OFA users give themselves to their successors. One for All was “truly born” not when All for One tossed Yoichi a stolen consolation, but when 2nd extended his hand. There is something distinctly emotional and personal about that. Nana was right—it is kinda romantic.
Because Toshinori kept living, because Izuku has meaningful relationships, that chain of giving linked down through OFA was finally brought to light, like a circuit that’s being closed. At least, that’s how I see it. That’s pretty much what I talked about in my previous post.
Back then I also suggested that this theory of personal connection in some way explains Katsuki apparently having a vestige. Since chapter 403, where Toshinori describes his legacy as being embodied in both Izuku AND Katsuki, I was reminded of how Toshinori was gradually shown this over the course of the manga, as he came to understand Katsuki and his relationship to Izuku, how they are inseparable.
When Toshinori was inspired to pass OFA on to Izuku as he witnessed him trying to save Katsuki, he had no idea the two boys even knew each other. What he saw as a random act of selflessness was in reality a desperate manifestation of a connection that extended beyond memory, of osananajimi. With the eyes of traditional heroism, one could choose to see this as Toshinori’s fatal mistake, that he accidentally chose a successor with a “weakness” of personal attachment, but we all know that heroic isolation isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. No, I think Toshinori made precisely the right choice.
This is going to seem like it’s coming out of nowhere, but bear with me: you know how we still haven’t been told how the first OFA transfer happened? I feel almost silly admitting this, but I think it absolutely had to have been done instinctually, because it’s just too damn specific. As in, they didn’t know what they were doing or what it would accomplish, but they did it anyway. As in. They moved. Without thinking.
Toshinori didn’t fully consciously understand what he was seeing when Izuku ran to Katsuki, but deep within OFA, perhaps he recognized something familiar.
What if, somehow, without knowing it, Toshinori gave One for All to two people? His conviction and intent to give it was inspired by Izuku’s connection to Katuski. Yes, the transfer is inherently physical, but it also relies on mental assertion. Plus, how we think the transfer works may also be an assumption (again, the first time it happened was probably on instinct). Let me break it down even more: Toshi probably thought, as he passed OFA on, “I’m giving it to a successor who has my same balance of heroism—save to win, win to save.” But, in reality, Izuku relies on Katsuki for that balance, as his image of victory. Therefore I think I can argue that their relationship is irrevocably bound within the pact of the OFA transfer. Maybe because Katsuki’s part of OFA is based on emotional connection, once that connection is reciprocated…
…the full extent of that dual transfer is awakened.
I understand I’m making a lot of logical leaps here, but there has to be some sort of explanation for the Katsuki we see at the point of his death, talking to Toshinori’s vestige. I used to think it meant Katsuki had a vestige too. But then why are Katsuki and Toshinori alone, and without Izuku knowing? Moreover, why didn’t Katsuki materialize from the metaphysical mist around Izuku when he died, just as Toshinori did here?
Here comes the other thing I realized in 404. The simplest explanation may be that Katsuki isn’t a vestige at all, but rather he was visiting the OFA interior just as Izuku has done in his sleep or in a coma. Because he’s not a previous user, he’s a current user. The sequence of Toshinori’s NDE (near death experience) in 404, the way it manifested externally around Izuku as something Izuku was aware of, rather than internally within OFA from Toshinori’s point of view, shows me that what happened to Katsuki was different.
A lot of us have been speculating that Katsuki “has access to” OFA in some form or another for quite some time now, but I think the way the idea is suggested in 403/404 is an important distinction because it specifies the mode of connection. To me, it matters that they have two halves of a whole given to each of them, as opposed to, “the chosen one + his sidekick with a little extra OFA boost.” This puts them on equal ground, and it implies that the closer they become, the stronger One for All will be against All for One. It promises that these two idiots who have been toeing around each other and leaving things unspoken for so long will have to really face the facts of their relationship.
One last thing: you might be wondering why the other vestiges apparently haven’t picked up on what’s going on and told Izuku. Well, Yoichi may have felt it? (Where has he been?) But also, Toshinori is the only one directly involved, the only one who realizes his legacy is carried by two. Up until this point his connection to his vestige self has been limited, sort of one-way. For example, he could tell the other vestiges about his research into OFA, but in return he could only faintly pick up on things, and only while Izuku was unconscious.
The time Toshinori spent as a full vestige was brief, but I’m sure it was enough to learn some things about where the shade of himself has been. Even if I’m wrong about everything else, I bet he can give us the answers now.

AFO: Now, that there’s no one to intervene, let’s have a chat shall we? That door is locked so don’t bother running away.
Lady Nagant: You’re confused.
Lady Nagant: I’m not locked in here with you, you’re locked in here with me.
AFO: See, this is why I’m trying to scout you. This right here.

I wonder what Haz wound be like if his SO got pregnant. Like imagine his big ol hands holding a tiny little baby.
How hazard would be with a pregnant S/O
Hazard would probably be a mix of awe, nervousness, and overwhelming protectiveness when he finds out his SO is pregnant. At first, he'd be stunned—this isn't something he thought would happen, but once it sinks in, he'd be fiercely devoted to ensuring everything is perfect.
His personality would take a softer turn, especially around his SO. He'd become hyper-vigilant, making sure they're comfortable, safe, and well-cared for. Whether that means running out at odd hours to grab whatever craving strikes or gently scolding them for overexerting themselves, Hazard would be all in.
When the baby finally arrives, seeing him with such a tiny, fragile little being in his big hands would be an adorable contrast. He'd handle them like they're made of glass, his gruff exterior melting as he whispers to the baby or rocks them to sleep. Hazard might not admit it outright, but he'd spend hours just staring at the baby in disbelief, marveling at the fact that something so small could mean so much.
Despite his tough-guy persona, he'd be completely smitten—probably to the point where anyone who so much as jokes about the baby gets a death glare. He’d still carry his usual edge, but now with an added layer of “don’t mess with my family.”
(Lil Scenario cuz why not 👹)
The soft hum of the television was the only sound in the room as Hazard dozed on the couch, one arm slung lazily over his eyes. The day had been long, and he’d finally allowed himself to relax. But his peace was shattered when he heard the sound of shuffling footsteps.
He cracked an eye open to see you standing in the doorway, hands resting on your growing belly, a determined look on your face.
“Hazard” you said firmly.
He groaned, covering his face with his hand. “What now, love? I’m tryin’ tae sleep.”
“I need strawberries. Dipped in chocolate. And some salty chips.”
Hazard let his hand drop, staring at you in disbelief. “Strawberries? In the middle o’ the night? Ye ken the shops are closed by now, aye?”
You huffed, crossing your arms over your chest. “The baby wants them. Are you going to deny your own child?”
“Ach, there it is” he muttered, sitting up with a sigh. “Blamin’ the bairn again, are ye? Not like ye weren’t the one who ate half a jar o’ pickles this mornin’.”
“Hazard!” You whined, your pout deepening.
He groaned as he got to his feet, running a hand through his messy hair. “Right, fine. Strawberries, chocolate, an’ chips. Salty ones, no sweet. Anythin’ else while I’m out wanderin’ the city like some daft idiot?”
Your face lit up with a smile. “That’s all. Thank you.”
“Aye, aye” he muttered, grabbing his coat. He paused at the door to shoot you a smirk. “Ye’re lucky yer cute, else I’d tell ye tae wait till mornin’.”
====
It took him longer than he’d like to admit, but Hazard returned triumphantly, carrying a bag of goodies. He’d even managed to find a 24-hour café that sold freshly dipped chocolate strawberries, though he’d had to endure the strange look the barista gave him.
He dropped the bag on the counter and held up the small container of strawberries. “Here ye go, love. Freshly dipped strawberries, chips, an’ a bonus bar o’ chocolate for good measure. Don’t say I never do anythin’ for ye.”
You gasped, taking the strawberries with a grin. “You’re amazing. Thank you so much!”
“Aye, amazing’s one word for it” he muttered, watching as you bit into a strawberry with a contented sigh. He leaned back against the counter, arms crossed. “Ye’re lucky I love ye. Or I’d have left ye tae dream about these bloody things instead.”
You smiled at him, your eyes soft. “You’re going to be such a good dad, you know that?”
His ears turned red, and he quickly looked away, scratching the back of his neck. “Ach, don’t get sappy on me now. Eat yer strawberries afore they melt.”
But as you laughed and continued to eat, Hazard’s lips curled into a faint smile. Maybe all the late-night runs and strange cravings weren’t so bad after all.

Betrayal
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4 Summary: In the attack against AFO, as Touya enters the scene through the makeshift portals along with the rest of the LOV, he sees someone on the other side of the fight, someone he didn’t expect
Touya Todoroki x Childhood friend Gn!Reader with a Wind quirk
Warnings: Language, violence, looooots of angst bby prepare yourself 🥲 also it’s kinda long
You looked out for him when you could. Tended to his burns, cuddled him to sleep, gave him a place to stay for years. You were his girlfriend, and on top of that, you’d grown up with him. You knew him better than anyone. Loved him better than anyone.
But something changed with him after he revealed his identity to the world. Something important to you was lost in the process.
But you couldn’t figure out what that thing was.
His burns got worse, he became more and more impatient over the smallest things, as if the only thing that would cure this newfound aggression was his full revenge.
It worried you, to say the least. He began ignoring you, slowly stopped showing up, stopped asking for you to tend to his burns, stopped cuddling, stopped being himself. In a strange way, it felt like you’d already broken up.
But for him, it was different.
On his end, he thought he was doing the right thing. Now that people knew his identity, they could very easily get to you. That thought worried him. So he continued with his goals, hoping that you wouldn’t be hurt in the process.
The truth was, you were on his mind as he and the League prepared for the fight ahead of them, getting ready to be teleported to AFO at a moments notice- excited for the chaos, and yet, he still felt that something was off.
As the portal enthralled him and he stepped out on the other side, he quickly understood why.
Because, when Shoto had approached you a week before, not as an enemy, but a family friend, and asked you to help save Touya from himself, you couldn’t say no. You’d given up on trying to become a hero after Touya burned up- you wanted to do it with him- but still you had a powerful wind quirk that could dispel his fire, as well as some decent experience. So, you joined them on the battlefield as they ambushed AFO, praying that Touya would finally listen to you.
He stepped out of the portal, grinning like a madman, spotting his dear old dad and shooting a wall of flames towards Endeavor… which was quickly countered with a gust of wind.
He wasn’t aware of a pro hero left with a wind based quirk. Shoto came through the portal, making eye contact with Endeavor. Meanwhile, Touya’s eyes scanned towards the source of the wind, meeting two oh so familiar eyes looking right back at him.
He felt his stomach drop through the floor.
Because there you stood, on the other side of the fight, next to Shoto… next to Endeavor… and you had the audacity to look worried.
A trickle of blood ran down his face as he processed the scene, his blue eyes wide with contempt.
“Y/n…. What the hell are you doing..?”
He asked, his voice raspy, but he tried to play it cool with a smirk, like inside he wasn’t breaking down completely at the sight of his lover on the other side of this battle, of all places.
“Touya… I’m sorry… but I can’t watch you do this to yourself anymore… I’m here to stop you”
Your voice hit him like a ton of bricks. The conviction, the determination, the concern.
He said nothing at first, letting out a mirthless chuckle as he prepared to release another large gust of flames.
“Stop me huh? You should’ve done that sooner if you actually cared so much” He mocked coldly, but his blue eyes and blood-streaked face gave away his true feelings. He saw your brow furrow in worry as you nodded, once again ripping open his barely beating heart as you quietly replied “I know… I’m sorry”
He threw out more fire, being countered this time by Shoto before the cages trapped him and the other villains in.
He was seething, smoking, burning with rage, with hurt, with confusion. He didn’t want it to end like this… damn it, he didn’t want it to end. Your late night talks, your gentle whispers, sweet nothings that made him feel…human. He didn’t want this, but you were making it damn difficult.
Part two coming soon <3

when it comes to the traitor reveal, I feel like revealing it during the training camp would’ve been too early but while the canonical reveal is okay timeline wise it’s also kind of too late? but with how the tightly packed the timeline & events of manga goes, I’m not exactly sure when it’ll be the best time to reveal it?
especially since it seems like shigaraki doesn’t utilize yuga’s spy status? either because he has no use for yuga post-kamino (especially with himiko’s existence, gestures to himiko infiltrating the license exam), had no way to get into contact with the aoyamas, or maybe afo didn’t tell him about the ua spy (or maybe even shigaraki saw the aoyamas as strickly afo’s property and didn’t want to (or couldn’t) get involved? idk?)
anyways, where in the canonical timeline would you have put the traitor reveal?
au where the lov uses the aoyama residents as their primary hideout pre-mla arc when-
The more I think about it the more I start to realise that horikoshi revealing the UA traitor plot line after the vigilante arc isn't the problem but the problem is that the plot point felt and was heavily neglected.
We get hints of there being a traitor among UA during the training camp arc by present mic meaning that if that plot point was resolved within that arc it would be incredibly rushed and wouldn't of had time to fully breathe and be developed especially because the moment in itself is framed as mic being too paranoid.
Ultimately, horikoshi, from this point, starts to slowly build up yuuga and his role very indirectly, whether that be through yuuga's hero name of ✨️i can't stop twinkling ✨️or yuuga consistently breaking the 4th wall.
While these are small little hints spewed here and there in the story they aren't further developed or we don't get much attention to them as mha slowly branches out from class 1a making the plot point feel quite deattached.
Other than this, yuuga also has some weird gag scenes that draw a sense of uncomfortable aurora around him. This can mainly be seen with the way that he interacts with izuku. He gives him cheese and sneaks to his room. He also is quickly to see right through him and connect the dots that izuku must have been formerly a quirkless guy.
Yuuga perfectly ends up encapsulating a character that's a bit suspicious but not enough to really raise any warning bells. Ultimately, it just ends up making it look like he is being himself, especially with how he seems to seemingly fabricate lies and truths together because he genuinely did start to care for 1A but he is also a spy that has given accurate information to the leauge.
Now I think my main problem is that we don't see yuuga interact with the league at all or get eird messages. We don't see shigaraki utilise the resources he has when he easily could, and we don't see a lot of yuuga's own perspective at all. For example, we don't know how yuuga retold the information and it would of been hella interesting if we saw yuuga's active conflicting feeling of fear and obeying orders due to that and with sheer regret and guilt.
Did yuuga try and distance himself and not form close relationships with 1A because he felt guilty? He felt like a sheep in wolves clothing. He was a student at heart, he loved UA, he loved the classes, the teachers, but he has no autonomy having to actively tear down what he loves to protect himself and his family.
They made a deal with a devil, and now he pays the price being haunted by what's to come. I imagine that the events that played out during and after the war arc must have done a great deal to his mental health, completely breaking down and engulfing him in guilt. He probably blames himself for the deaths and injuries of so many heroes because if he could do something, this wouldn't happen.
It seems like the plot kind of forgets about yuuga in all honesty, especially when they had himiko break in and infiltrate the exam. It would have been interesting to see why that happened. My theory is that shigaraki started to develop some doubts about the information yuuga was providing and wanted someone he could trust to infiltrate and cause a bit of chaos while also checking up on yuuga in a way. This could have been a great moment to show tensions between yuuga and the league.

BnHA Chapter 409: Bro I’m Straight Up Having a Good Time
Previously on BnHA: AFO murdered his brother like the mischievous knave he is. Bruce was all, “hey Kudou don’t look now but I think Yoichi might have given you his secret quirk that we didn’t know he had.” Kudou was all, “damn that’s wild, it almost feels like this is a pivotal moment that will change all our destinies forever, you’d think Horikoshi would have spent just a little more time elaborating on this but I GUESS NOT.” Back in the present day, AFO was all, “I’m just going to use all my quirks at once because fuck this kid,” and Katsuki was all, “lol oh shit.”
Today on BnHA: Kacchan is all, “okay, I know I should be hopelessly outclassed, but hear me out: what if I just win anyway. What if I just go ahead and blow his shit up, because this is the final battle, and this is what all of my character development has been building up to since day one. What if I just beat him, because I’m the guy who wins. Simple as that. What if I just kick his ass with my one quirk, and prove all the haters wrong.” Horikoshi is all, “okay, sure.” AFO is all, “wait, wha -- ”
oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my g
huh. well I wasn’t expecting to start tearing up less than two panels into this chapter but HERE WE ARE
I love that he’s screaming and crying with his balled up little fist right from the get go lol. he was born a pissed off baby
he’s so squishy
and so tiny!!!!?!?! !?!??!?!
and he was RAISED WITH LOVE. fucking thank you, lol. gonna print that out and frame it on my wall. turn it into a flashing neon sign to give me comfort any time I stumble across stray Mitsuki discourse lol
anyway. oh my goodness. if this is a sign of things to come, there’s a very strong possibility this chapter may destroy me. how exciting!!
yep. yep yep yep. this is for sure going to be the chapter that finally does me in. it’s been a great ride folks
you better not be thinking any thoughts about dying, young man. this had better be meant in the sense of “because I’ll be by your side supporting you instead”, as opposed to “because I will be a little pile of dust in about three seconds’ time oh shit”
(ETA: after finishing the rest of the chapter, I’m pretty sure it’s the former! the first flashback is a reference to his chapter 120 speech -- “even higher than you, Chosen One.” the second is a throwback to chapter 247, when he told Endeavor he only had his one quirk, but it was strong enough to do anything he wanted to do. and the third flashback is one he also had at Jakku when he sacrificed himself to push Izuku out of the way.
so to me, this reads like (1) a reminder of his determination to surpass Izuku and become the strongest hero; (2) foreshadowing for him defeating AFO with Explosion, the Little Quirk That Could; and (3) a reminder of his “origin.” that last one being important because nowadays it’s just as strong of a motivator as his original goal. back at the beginning of the series, all he cared about was being the strongest. now, though, he’s not just fighting for himself; he’s also fighting to atone, and he’s learned to put himself aside if necessary.
as for the dialogue, this reads like a continuation of his mental conversation with Izuku that he began in chapter 362 (“gotta win... right, Izuku?” “so, Izuku... can I still catch up to you?”), and then continued in chapter 406 (“for some reason, I feel like I could overtake you now”). so in that context, “I’ll no longer get in your way” basically means that he’s done chasing Izuku, and that he’s caught up now and can hold his own. his determination to get stronger hasn’t wavered. his confidence in his own quirk and his own skills hasn’t wavered. and his resolve to atone for everything he did to Izuku is as strong as ever. put those all together, and we have the recipe for quite a spectacular redemption fight. his follow-up to chapter 362.
because earlier when he fought Tomura/AFO, he was basically just trying to buy time. no one ever planned or expected him to have to face the Big Bad one-on-one; that was supposed to be Izuku’s job. he was only meant to be there as support. and in the end he wasn’t strong enough, and he nearly died. and rather than being able to support Izuku, he ended up being used against him.
but this time is different. he’s no longer the decoy, the distraction. he’s no longer the pebble. he won’t get in Izuku’s way, because this time he’s going to be strong enough to win the fight. he’s going to hold his own, and get the job done.
so yeah. “I won’t get in your way” = “you can depend on me”, basically. because he’s become that guy at last. the guy who shows up in the clutch and wins the day. the hero he always wanted to be. good stuff.)
OH MY GOD
once again, just really solid hero advice from All Might here. there’s a reason he’s the GOAT
lol but in all seriousness it does tug at my heart to see him shouting so desperately at this kid. especially knowing that he’s presumably feeling the same pride and awe that I am, but with a lot more heart-stopping terror mixed in because unlike me, All Might doesn’t know that Kacchan is actually going to live forever. he narrated chapter 285, All Might, have a little faith
AFO is the extra-est mfer to ever live. but also it really tickles me to think that Kacchan pissed him off THIS much. it’s kind of an honor in a way
of course his plan is to simply just blow AFO up. of fucking COURSE it is. maybe there will be brain cells later on in this chapter, but for now who even needs them lol
OH MY GOD?!?
DID THIS MOTHERFUCKER JUST BLOW THE FUCK UP FROM THE INSIDE?? am I seeing this right?? DID KACCHAN JUST SPONTANEOUSLY COMBUST ALL FOR ONE WITH HIS MIND
OH MY GOD OH MY GOD
(ETA: shoutout to AFO for being so analytical when I personally would have just been screaming, “OH MY GOD MY FUCKING EYEBALLS AHHHHHHHHHH.”)
THAT’S WHAT I’M SAYING THOUGH!! HIS POWER WASN’T DONE AWAKENING YET, APPARENTLY??
oh no wait it’s even better. this isn’t Awakening at all, this is just Katsuki playing 5D chess
so he actually did have brain cells the whole time then! Katsuki I sincerely apologize. you somehow had the presence of mind to make a goddamn minefield even in the midst of all of this hullaballoo
AND HE’S HUMBLE TOO LMAO
it’s true!! I’m people!! please ignore the multitude of times I’ve previously called him a dumbass, including earlier in this very chapter lol
hahahahaha yesssssssss
this chapter is incredibly validating for a number of reasons. I’m going to attempt to remain calm about it. but I’m enjoying this a lot ngl
oh AFO
:D :D :D
(ETA: you know what, I actually do have more to say about this. because I’ve lost track of the number of times I’ve debated with people about this very thing, lol. for a while there post-Jakku it was just constant pessimism about Kacchan’s future in the manga. all this stuff about how Katsuki doesn’t have a main villain. Katsuki isn’t important enough. Katsuki is being phased out. Katsuki isn’t strong enough. Katsuki’s done developing. Katsuki’s just a joke character now. Katsuki’s just the damsel in distress. Katsuki’s always going to be second fiddle to Izuku. etc. etc. etc.
and then this chapter -- this whole entire fight, really -- comes along, and it’s just nonstop rebuttals, lol. and it’s not just that he’s proving all the negativity wrong. it’s that he doesn’t even care about any of that. AFO is out here trying to goad him with that same “YOU’RE JUST A SIDE CHARACTER” bait, and in response Katsuki just hits him with a Howitzer and tells him to shut the fuck up. AFO thinks he can get to him by being petty, because AFO still sees him as the bratty kid from the Sports Festival. but the present day Katsuki has long since moved past all of that, and no longer gives a fuck whether or not he shares the spotlight. unlike AFO, who never lost his childish egotism, Katsuki has learned to see outside himself, and the resulting growth has made him a bigger badass than AFO could ever hope to be.)
(۶•̀ᴗ•́)۶
ouch
HAHAHAHAHA
bro I’m straight up having a good time. this recap is gonna suck this week because there’s absolutely no commentary I can think of to add other than “I’M REALLY ENJOYING THIS, THIS IS GREAT”
I want to take this entire chapter and get it tattooed on my face
sorry AFO. this must really suck for you
lmao. is that all Kacchan. tell him how you really feel
OH MY GOD NO WAY LOL
so, fun fact, I literally just read chapter 385 last night lmao. most fortunate timing I’ve ever had, holy shit
okay so lemme just add some more thoughts on this one really quick
Hawks deserves all the nice things in the world and I’m so sad I can’t give them to him, but at least he gets this. sweet sassy revenge
I am once again calling everyone’s attention to the fact that AFO continues to be his own undoing. congrats on screwing yourself over bucko
Kacchan’s sleeve ripping up Deku-style is once again making my Plus OFA Theory senses all tingly. it probably is just a coincidence and has nothing to do with OFA, but I can’t unassociate it now, so I’m just gonna sit here and read as much into it as possible
if I had a nickel for every time AFO’s eyes blew up in this chapter, I would have two nickels, and that is way too many fucking nickels jesus christ
ever since he came back from the dead, Kacchan’s been doing this thing where he is just really pretty at all times, even when he is being a gremlin. and honestly it’s taken some getting used to, although I’m not complaining
but like in this panel especially, it just really stands out to me how even his “GRYAHHH I’M GONNA KILL YA!!!” face somehow has this really cool, intense, piercing glare now and he no longer looks like a baby troll when he does this kind of thing lol
OH FUCK YEAH
୧༼✿ ͡◕ д ◕͡ ༽୨
“THERE’S NO WAY I COULD’VE WON THIS ALONE.” OMG. THAT KACCHAN CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT JUST HITS DIFFERENT EVERY DAMN TIME, I SWEAR
he and Hawks basically pulled a “you hold him and I’ll punch” lol. thanks for the assist Hawks
Mitsuki and Masaru being all, “my little baby boy!!” and “HOLY SHIT”, respectively, sent me all the way to the moon lmao
HELLO THERE YOICHI? fancy running into you here. just chilling out over in this montage of people close to Bakugou who are watching him kick ass. did you take a wrong turn, mayhap. you’re not inside of AFO, we know that much. and Deku, much as I’m sure he’d love to have a front row seat to all this, seems to have his hands full dealing with Tomura right now, sadly
so all of that does seem to raise an interesting question, no? where did you come from just now, and why? and when Kacchan says he’s not alone, is there perhaps more truth to that statement than even he knows? or am I once again just reading way too much into this lmao
anyway so yeah! that sure was fun. and with the end of the year approaching and back-to-back two-week chapter breaks coming up, I have a chance to do the funniest thing of all time, and still not manage to catch up, lol. nah but I’m gonna try my best though. pretty sure I should be able to manage

How much do we trust this information?
Hello everyone, I haven't been into MHA because I'm currently hooked on Kaiju #08 (it's so much fun, I'm afraid it'll end). What I'm back with this time is my own question, and that is:
quirk singularity
From my little monkey brain diving to understand, it is a Doomsday belief of AFO's psychopathic doctor who owns this idea and it was not accepted as much when it first came out. But there are quite a few people who believe in this. Because even foreign cults (Movie3) and Overhaul still mention it.
There's even a Bible!
And from my monkey brain (I may mention monkeys often, Wukong is strong, sorry in advance) what I can understand is Humanity who have quirks when they give birth to the next generation, the quirk will be more powerful until it cannot be controlled. Movie03 spoiler: A cult releasing a type of chemical weapon / drug (sorry, I threw out all the names) caused an incident where people released quirks like crazy until the city collapsed. In Movie03, the people who survived this incident were the ones who did not have quirks.
I won’t go into the possibility of a Doomsday belief from a psychopath (what was that guy’s name again, never mind), but what I’m posting is: How much do we trust this information?
From what I've researched further, being a stupid monkey, from the information of the great Hori (I'm being sarcastic) with "tell, don't show", the only person who believes the psychopathic doctor is AFO, which you can argue with me because AFO stole a lot of quirks so he sees the possibility, and we see from Shigaraki/AFO who transforms like Akira.
But… it's just two old men and a cult??? who believe in this with all their hearts?! Yes, it might be possible, but in the world of MHA where quirks have become a major driving force of superhero society, it would be impossible to have two old men one is a scientist who later became a psychopath and the other is an old man who is a Bracon who never graduated (I think) with no history except for being born to be evil and a cult that believes that the world will end because of an uncontrollable quirk and to make matters worse, it comes from a disease caused by rats being the carriers of the disease! (A quirk is a disease that people in this era see as normal!?)
Okay… If quirk is the big driver of the world in MHA, with 80% of the population having quirks (sick people) and 20% not having quirks (healthy people) If it's something that everyone talks about, why are there only 2 old people and 1 cult that care about it? Wouldn't there be anyone else talking about it? To say that only 2 old people are smart enough to understand the problem of extinction of humanity on Earth, leaving only the best creatures that survived natural selection. Wow, I'm a stupid monkey who should be thanked, because we don't have the right to survive?
This is very convincing information (even if my brain is a monkey, I can be sarcastic, you know). Okay, here's my next topic, and that's Quirks have the effect of controlling people's personality (Are we in the era when kids were excited about which house they belonged to in Hogwarts?)
Wow, Horikoshi Kohei will not "show not tell" , right? Okay! Here we go again. Choosing to enter Hogwarts house through the use of Quirks. What kind of person will you be? And what will you become from your Quirks without having to sit and create your own identity! Starting with Toga Himiko (I hate her) A girl with the cutest smile in the world. But her "like" for Quirks related to blood makes her have a desire to get "blood" of that person to satisfy what is called a personal feeling that she calls "love". She can't stop that desire because her Quirks need blood. So she takes a box cutter to slit the throat of the male student she has a crush on and sucks his blood until he bleeds to death.
She was able to stop her desire for "blood of love" because Twice wasn't dead yet because Toga never cut his throat while he was sleeping to suck his blood. Okay…
Next up is Tomura Shigaraki. With Quirks (spoiler: he got it from AFO), he has a desire to destroy everything he touches, so he has no other desires except destruction. Okay… And the belief of many MHA people is that this is my Quirks, my expression, my identity.
I wonder if there aren't any witch doctors or fortune tellers opening shops where parents can take their kids under 4 to see if there are any Quirks. Don't you think this is a good business to invest in? But yeah, what parent would take their kid to a fortune teller to see if there are any Quirks? It's not credible at all (like the two old men and the cult that believes in Doomsday). And like the leader of another cult that believes in liberation to create a world where only the strongest predators will survive because the stronger the Quirks, the more likely they are to survive the extinction of humanity. Alright everyone… This monkey will take his leave. Let's talk about what you think: How credible are both stories in the MHA world where the possibilities are so regrettably thrown away… And most infuriatingly
