I think they're just giving them these computers and whatnot for enrichment.
Stock photography models have open-rooted dentition and their teeth never stop growing as they age, so per the OECD Good Laboratory Practices labs are expected to provide them with nylon bones, keyboards, laptops, or wooden gnawing blocks. These allow them to exercise their gums and jaws, and promote good dental health, which is especially important when models are fed on soft or liquid diets.
Without proper enrichment, stock photo models can become grumpy or easily distracted:

What Makes a Reliable Non-Basmati Rice Manufacturer?
Tumblr media
Non-basmati rice is a staple food in many countries due to its affordable price, versatility, and varying grain sizes. From long-grain to short-grain varieties, it serves as the backbone of countless meals. But what’s the difference between an ordinary supplier and a reliable manufacturer when it comes to non-basmati rice? For wholesalers, retailers, and even consumers, choosing the right rice manufacturer can make a huge difference in quality, consistency, and long-term relationships. This blog will explore the key factors that ensure you’re sourcing from a trustworthy non-basmati rice manufacturer.
Quality Control Practices and Certifications
The foundation of any reliable rice manufacturer is its commitment to quality. Manufacturers with strict quality control processes ensure that each batch of rice meets specific standards for purity, grain length, moisture content, and taste. Look for manufacturers that adhere to international certifications such as ISO 9001 for quality management and HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) for food safety. These certifications ensure that the rice is produced under clean conditions and undergoes rigorous testing to remove impurities.
Additionally, quality manufacturers often employ state-of-the-art testing laboratories that analyze rice for contaminants such as pesticides, aflatoxins, and heavy metals. This commitment to food safety ensures that you are getting a premium product that meets global standards.
Consistent Supply and Scalability
A reliable non-basmati rice manufacturer must be able to meet consistent demand, whether you are a small retailer or a large-scale distributor. This means maintaining adequate stock, having capacity for large orders, and increasing production as needed. Manufacturers with extensive farming networks or partnerships with multiple farmers can better guarantee stable supply throughout the year, regardless of seasonal fluctuations.
Scalability is especially important for businesses looking to expand into new markets. A trustworthy manufacturer will have the flexibility to adjust production volumes to align with your growth, ensuring a smooth supply chain even during peak seasons.
Technological advancements in milling and packaging
Modern rice milling and packaging technology plays a key role in maintaining the quality and shelf life of non-basmati rice. Reliable manufacturers invest in advanced milling machinery that reduces broken grains and preserves the natural texture and flavor of rice. Look for manufacturers that use automated sorting technologies to remove discolored or damaged grains, ensuring a more consistent product.
Packaging also matters. Vacuum-sealed or air-tight packaging helps preserve freshness and prevent moisture ingress, which can lead to spoilage or insect infestation. Manufacturers that adopt innovative packaging solutions help ensure that their rice reaches consumers in optimal condition.
Sustainable and ethical sourcing
As consumers and businesses are becoming more aware of sustainability, it is important to work with a manufacturer that values ethical sourcing. Reliable manufacturers prioritize environmentally friendly farming practices, such as minimizing the use of chemical pesticides and adopting water conservation methods. Some manufacturers also support small-scale farmers by offering fair trade agreements, ensuring that local communities benefit from their involvement.
Sustainably sourced rice also tends to be higher in quality, as the plants are grown in healthy soil, without an excessive reliance on synthetic chemicals. Look for manufacturers that openly share their sustainability initiatives or hold certifications such as Fairtrade or Organic to further validate their commitment to ethical practices.
Customer Support and Global Reach
Strong customer support is the hallmark of any reliable non-basmati rice manufacturer. A good manufacturer should provide clear communication channels, timely responses to inquiries, and efficient problem-solving when issues arise. This level of support fosters trust and ensures a seamless business relationship over time.
Additionally, manufacturers with a global reach and experience exporting rice to multiple countries are better equipped to handle the complexities of international shipping, customs regulations, and regional preferences. A manufacturer with a proven export track record can provide invaluable guidance, especially for businesses looking to expand internationally.
Choosing the right non-basmati rice manufacturer isn’t just about considering price. Quality control, supply continuity, technological advancements, consistency and customer support all play a vital role in ensuring you get a great product. By partnering with a reliable manufacturer, you can guarantee that your business will thrive and your customers will be happy.

Let me tell you a story.
It's about a yoing man who grew up on a farm in a cointry that kept getting worse and worse as he grew up.
He didn't notice it at first. He tought his dad was exadurating when he said the state is trying to destroy farmers. A conspiracy theory, surely.
Than there was a chrisis. AFLATOXIN IN COXS MILK.... except this toxin is harmless to people ...bit no one told that to the government. And the young man felt lucky, because his farm lost no cows to the eutanasia orders
Then came a mandatory vaccination for anothwr desiese... that was never detected in the area. And the young man felt luck ... because the vaccine only costed them one cow ... while some farmers lost all of theirs.
Then a chemical that prevented potato from sprouting was banned and the young man felt lucky because his family could afford to build a cooling chamber.
This year the pig plague came and the government has started killing pigs "to stop the spread of desiese" bit they haven't banned the transport of livestock.... or ever mentioned that this desiese is harmless to humans
And the young man doesn't know what the futire will bring
So he's sharing his story online
If in a few years I turned into a criminal.
Know what pushed me there
I would like to believe this can be fixed peacefully. But I am no fool

Alright, so this isn't entirely accurate. Since Sweden actually has a working Food Agency, here's some advice and information (translated by AI, so be patient).
Do not eat food that has molded
Food that has molded becomes unappetizing. Mold fungi can also produce toxins. These mold toxins can be more or less harmful to health. The toxins are invisible, and you cannot tell by looking at a moldy food item whether it contains mold toxins or not.
The general advice from the National Food Agency is therefore not to eat food that has molded. But there are some exceptions. For certain foods, you can remove the moldy part and eat the rest. Further down the page, you will find a list of foods that you can eat after removing the mold.
Mold toxins can spread inside many foods
In soft and watery fruits and vegetables such as tomatoes and pears, mold toxins can spread throughout the entire fruit or vegetable. In such cases, it does not help to cut away the mold. Figs, dates, and grapes that have molded could contain the mold toxins aflatoxin or ochratoxin A.
In bread that has molded, mold toxins can spread throughout the entire loaf because the mold fungus has thin threads – hyphae – that can easily grow into the porous bread.
If mold has formed in juice, mold toxins can spread throughout the entire bottle of juice.
Lack of knowledge about firm vegetables
When it comes to firm vegetables such as carrots and other root vegetables, as well as various types of cabbage, we do not know if it is safe to eat them after cutting away the mold. There are currently no studies that have investigated this.
These foods can be eaten even if they have started to mold a little
Apples, potatoes, and citrus fruits, such as oranges: Cut away small mold spots with at least a two-centimeter margin. Then you can eat the rest. Mold toxins cannot spread far from the actual mold spot in apples and potatoes. Citrus fruits are mainly attacked by mold fungi that do not produce mold toxins. Additionally, the thick peel acts as a protection.
Jam and puree: Jam and puree where at least 500 grams of sugar per kilogram of berries or fruit (33 grams of sugar per 100 grams of finished jam or puree) have been added can be eaten if you first remove the mold layer with about a two-centimeter margin. Discard moldy jam or puree with less added sugar.
Hard cheese: Cut away mold spots with at least a two-centimeter margin. The rest can be eaten. Mold toxins cannot spread far from the actual mold spot in hard cheese.
Nuts and dried fruit: Sort out discolored, shriveled, and visibly moldy nuts or dried fruits as they may contain mold toxins. The rest can be eaten. Split Brazil nuts before eating. In Brazil nuts, the mold often sits in the middle and is not visible from the outside.
Packages of fruit or vegetables where only a few have molded: In packages of fruit or vegetables, it may happen that only one or a few items have molded. Remove the moldy ones. The rest are fine to eat. Mold toxins do not form if there is no mold infestation. Fruits, vegetables, or berries that do not have visible mold infestations do not contain mold toxins even if they have been next to moldy ones.
Tips: how to prevent mold
By taking care of, storing, and preparing food properly, you can prevent food from molding. This way, you avoid ingesting mold toxins and also reduce food waste.
Bread: Divide the bread into smaller packages and freeze.
Berries: Store berries as cool as possible for short-term storage. For long-term storage, freeze them.
Fruits and vegetables: Ensure that fruits and vegetables are not damaged. Mold fungi can take hold if the skin is damaged. This is especially true for thin-skinned fruits like tomatoes, pears, and nectarines. Ensure that fruits and vegetables do not become damp. Store them cool, preferably in the refrigerator. They will not mold as quickly. But keep in mind that some fruits and vegetables can get cold damage at too low temperatures.
Juice: Never use moldy berries to make juice. When making juice, use clean, preferably heated, bottles and screw on the lid immediately after filling. A combination of sugar and preservatives delays mold infestation. You can also freeze the juice and take out small portions at a time. Mold cannot form in the freezer.
Jam and puree: Never use moldy berries or fruits for jam or puree. Freeze jam or puree that contains less than 500 grams of sugar per kilogram of berries or fruit. This corresponds to 33 grams of sugar per 100 grams of finished jam or puree. Mold cannot form in the freezer.
