Summer bathing suits!

School is ending and summer is almost here! If you are like me, you love all things summer-especially swimming and being outside! Now that I am a Mom and in my 30s, I feel like I need to make sure I am ready with a good bathing suit! The two pieces from years past are still cute, but just not practical for the stage of life I am in. I still want to look cute, but I need to be comfy and ready to not worry about anything “slipping out” or showing too much! Here are some cute ones I found from Amazon: (Links provided below photo)

I actually already have this one! I ordered it last year while I was pregnant because I needed something that I could fit into all summer. I was just entering my second trimester, so I started off my normal size but my belly grew throughout the summer! I didn’t truly start showing towards the end of summer so this fit me great all summer long! I was really hesitant to get a one piece but this bathing suit is SO CUTE! It is very flattering and comes in a few different colors. I ordered the black, but it also comes in blue, gray, and yellow. The scallop detail and cut out in the front give it a great feminine feel. I also feel like this would be flattering on all body types.

This is another great alternative to a two piece! It has the feel of one but still covers you up enough. I also think this one would be great for actual swimming or the “on the go” mom! We all know there are just some bathing suits you don’t necessarily want to wear while playing volleyball in the pool or diving off the diving board, but this would be a great one for all the activities! This suit comes in a ton of different fun colors! It has great reviews and appears to fit TTS. The one shoulder look is so fun and different and again would look great on almost every body type!

This bathing suit kind of reminds me of the first one. The big difference is that it’s a halter style that ties behind the neck and the fabric. It comes in a ton of different solid colors and color combinations! Some options even had some animal print, which I think would be super cute! It has a 4.5 out of 5 rating on Amazon with lots of great reviews. The suit has stretchy fabric which would make it very comfortable and shirring on the side for some tummy control. The halter straps are adjustable and removable so you don’t have to worry about tan lines, but can add the strap for some extra support when needed! I personally love the red color but think this would be a great option to order a few different colors!

Another great option from CUPSHE! (I personally love their suits!) This is a two piece option that has a medium rise bottom and good supportive top. I like that when you buy this both the top and bottom comes with it. There are a lot of colors and color combinations that use different patters. The tie detail on the side of the bottom is really fun and it has a similar detail on the back on the top.The tie detail also helps make both pieces adjustable so it will fit you just right! This suit also has really good reviews, great price, AND prime 1 day shipping! (Who doesn’t love that!!)

I absolutely love the style of this suit! The high neck would be great for swimming and anything active! I also just think it is a really flattering neckline! The bottoms are mid rise and appear to have really good coverage. The straps are adjustable and their are A TON of color combinations and options. There is a really cute Stars and Stripe option that would be super cute for The 4th of July! The cost is right around $30 which I feel like is a great price for a bathing suit! If you are active in the summer and still want a cute bathing suit, this is a great choice for you!

hi! i see you're a TWSBI user, so i'd like to ask you about your experience with the pens! i've heard they're prone to cracking, has it ever happened to you? and do you have a favourite model? also, that iroshizuku tsutsuji ink is lovely!

OOH I've had an amazing experience with them! I'm a big ECO fan, I have like 20 of the things. They're probably my favourite because they're chunky but not too uncomfortable or heavy in my hand, kind of like... idk, a goldilocks weight for me personally! The colours are bright and eye-catching, and the huge ink chamber is so much fun (especially because I love colour matching inks with pens :3c)

Also the nibs have been nice and smooth! I've only had a bit of bad luck with the EF nibs since they tend to be a bit too scratchy, but I think that's also just my personal preference. I've never had a problem with cracking, but I could see it being an issue if you don't store your pens properly! As with anything acrylic there's always a scratch risk and a possibility of them cracking or getting dinged up if you treat them roughly. I keep my pens in a bighuge pen case though so I think I'm pretty safe unless I decide to run them over with a car afsgdhd

Craft posting pt two !! I'm making a reusable mask (w/ pocket to put in Better Masks and things that work to protect better than plain fabric (bc. You Know,,, That's Not Enough.) bc I'm running out of disposables and have no money to buy more :') and I go to a. College campus every day and them thangs is POPULATED

So yeah! I scavenged these fabric bits from around the school and I think I have enough to make two or three, which will be Extremely helpful for when I'm low on spoons or forget to wash them the night before (which is all the time, also I don't have a dryer so if I forget, washing in the morning isn't an option) :') but! It's worth it to me to keep masking! It makes me feel safe, I prefer to conceal my face, and I love knowing I'm doing my part the best I can to protect others and myself!
