A glimpse of The Aer

Welcome to Extranth Aeris!

This is a shared blog for all the nonhuman members of our system. We all have access to an innerworld layer we named The Aer, a world of infinite, beautiful natural terrain. It contains our preferred ecosystems, territories, and much more.

We use It/Its as a collective pronoun. Do not use they/them please.

The body is an adult, in case anyone cares.

We are pro endogenic systems, but a traumagenic system ourselves.

Our nonhumanity is heavily based on psychosis and delusions. We don't consider this to be a negative thing at all.

Not interested in policing anyone else's identity.

We will likely be posting some of our art here as a way to express ourselves.

Hey there! This is Rouke from @queerautism and @afaintcloudyhaze - And this will be my blog to document my crochet journey, which is my main focus at the moment, plus any embroidery, felting, sewing, etc I do.

I am disabled, and deal with chronic pain, hand pain, motor skill issues and dyscalculia. So often I have to adapt things so I can do them my own unique way!

I hold both my crochet hook and my working yarn on my right hand, and move my work with my left.

I'm sorry, what's the issue with small bowls for cats? I'd like to learn more about this

Oh hey, sorry it took me so long to respond to this! I did that thing where I saw the message and was like ‘oh this requires a bit of time to respond to I can’t do it right now’ and then totally forgot it existed when I actually got to a computer :P

But anyway it’s because of their whiskers! They are super sensitive and they scrape against the sides of bowls and make cats not want to eat - this is why cats only eat from the middle of the bowl and need you to shake it around again afterwards! That’s the only place they can put their head that doesn’t cause constant overwhelming sensory input (and possibly pain)!

And *sometimes*, and in the case of the comic I commented on that I think this was in response to, the bowls are SO small and the sides of them SO close together that it’s impossible for the cat to find ANYWHERE to eat from that’s safe and eating is just inherently painful for them :(

The solution is wider and flatter dishes! :)

Thanks for your answer! I've been thinking about it today and I think I might go with "Judaism is a faith for those who seek to change the world - Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks" because it really seemed to fit when I saw it here on Tumblr. He's a great kid who does his best to change the world for the better, last year he organised a bike marathon for himself to raise money so a class of poor children could afford nice bar mitzvahs. What do you think?
