hello! sorry this took me so long to do! i thought this request was pretty cute. i decided to do it in headcanon form if that's okay!

reader is gender neutral with they/them or no pronouns used! no physical descriptors of reader are used. i took this to be a romantic relationship! includes usage of the nickname "darling".

✧ he has nightmares pretty frequently but you didn't realize it for awhile

✧ usually you heard him just get out of bed and go to the kitchen for water 

✧ thinking nothing of it, you went back to sleep

✧ but this night was different

✧ when he woke up, he didn't get out of bed right away

✧ you awoke to him sitting up with his hands on his face, tears glistening in the moonlight

✧ you snapped awake and immediately sat up too, moving closer to him and asking if it was okay to touch him

✧ after he nodded, you put your arms around him, hugging him close

✧ out of character and surprising you, he returned the hug, burying his face in your shoulder

✧ you rubbed circles into his back in comfort

✧ when he cried, he didn't make a sound, just shook a lot

✧ when he was done you cradled his face in your hands and pressed a kiss to his forehead as he thanked you

in honor of this blog's one year anniversary and my 1k milestone, i've thrown together a little collab event! the focus: high school & college au's. i adore young love tropes and the whole "falling in love with your professor" thing, so this is an excuse to write that, among other things. all rules are below the cut.

"Foolish mortal. Know your place. You're hardly worthy of saying my name, let alone actually being with me."

"XIAO!"

You bolted upright in your bed, tears starting to flow down your cheeks. You covered your face with your hands as shaking sobs escaped your body, absolutely terrified of the nightmare you had just experienced. Although it was merely a dream, it felt like a sign of so much more.

"Xiao... don't leave me here," you whispered amongst your sobs, feeling his presence around you only moments after you had uttered his name.

"Why are you crying." It was more of a statement than a question, Xiao's confusion to human emotions nothing new. 

"It's..." you hesitated to tell him the real reason, worried about what he would say. "Just.. nightmares."

"About what."

"You... leaving me."

He stood there in shock for a moment, trying to process what you had just said. A dream so vile had dared cross your mind? Xiao would never think about leaving you, he loved you far too much for that to happen. He stood there awkwardly, unsure of what to do as your sobs returned to shake your body. Xiao reached out a hand and patted your head. "There.. shush your crying now. You're okay."

"I just..." another sob escaped your throat. "I can't.. even thinking about it.."

He recalled reading about couples comforting each other, and sat next to you on the bed, pulling your figure into him to lay on his lap as he calmly stroked your cheek and wiped away your tears. He prayed to the archons that this was the right thing to do, voice uncharacteristically soft as he reassured you. "It's okay to cry."

Your tears gradually stopped falling, and Xiao reached for your hand and pressed a gentle kiss to your wrist, touches feeling as light as the air he wielded. "Nobody can hurt you. Not with me here."

this was adorable to write! sorry this took so long!

reader is trans ftm! mentions of dysphoria and a panic attack. i opted to have the reader use a binder with neither top or bottom surgery yet, and not yet starting hormones, like my experience. i understand this is not every trans person's experience! i just wanted to be able to connect with it better. there are mentions of overbinding!

descriptors of reader for things like race, height, etc. are not mentioned!

quick PSA: PLEASE bind safely. never bind with a binder that doesn't fit or with things like ace bandages. avoid binding for over 8 hours at a time, and don't bind while doing things like intense physical activity. if your binder is hurting you, take it off. stay safe!

It was already late, and you couldn't sleep, the moonlight filtering in through the crack in the curtains casting an ethereal glow on your  partner who seemed to be asleep. You thought he'd fallen asleep earlier. And now you felt yourself on the verge of a panic attack. The dysphoria was getting worse, and you found yourself binding almost all the time.

Your heartbeat was quickening, breaths becoming shallow as your eyes filled with tears, face buried in a pillow as to not wake Dazai up, unaware that he was already awake.

"Darling?" His voice broke the silence, him shifting around to face you, seeing the state you were in. You looked up, tears staining your face, lip almost bleeding from how much you were biting on it to keep from sobbing loudly. "Don't feel bad. It's okay. I couldn't sleep anyway."

Dazai opened his arms, welcoming you into them, and you gladly let yourself be wrapped up in his embrace as he rubbed circles into your back, gently shushing you and kissing the top of your head. "As cute as you are in my arms, these aren't the best conditions... how can we cheer you up?" He wondered out loud, a light flirty tone in his voice. 

Your sobbing was starting to subside, fading into just sniffles. Dazai kissed your forehead and smiled. "There we go. That's better. Now, can you tell me what's wrong?"

"Just.. dysphoria."

"Oh, sweetheart, it's okay. You know that you're the most perfect man, right? It doesn't matter how you were born. It's how you feel. And you're my handsome, smart, amazing boyfriend." His tone was genuine, leaving his "playboy" persona behind for the moment. 

"But you could have a real man-"

"You are a real man." He pressed a gentle kiss to your lips, reassuring and soft. "Don't worry, I'm staying right here."

It was awfully late, and your lover still hadn't returned home, much to your growing anxiety. You had planned on staying up to greet him as you usually did, and despite his insistence and gentle scolding that you need to sleep and properly take care of yourself, the smile on his face when he saw you outshone even the sun itself. So it was always worth it.

Checking the clock for the time once more - nearly 1am - you sighed and leaned back in your chair, eyelids threatening to shut at any moment. Momentarily drifting off, you didn't hear the sound of the key turning in the lock and Tartaglia opening the door, a bouquet of flowers in his hand and smeared bloodstains on his face. He laughed softly at your sleeping form, stroking your cheek gently with one hand and pressing a kiss to your forehead. You woke up from your power nap to a radiant smile and shining eyes, only realizing a moment later what the red on his face was, and you bolted straight up, standing from your chair. 

"I brought you flowers," Tartaglia said, presenting them to you. 

"Thank you, Ajax... but what happened?!" You put the flowers down on the chair and cup his face in both your hands, seeing how dirty his clothes were. You examined his face for anything that was still bleeding, thankfully finding nothing. 

"Don't worry, pretty boy. None of it is mine."

"That's disturbingly reassuring." You gave his cheek a soft pat, grabbing the flowers. "Now go take a shower, you don't want blood on you for that long." While he showered and changed, you arranged the flowers neatly in a vase and put them on the kitchen table. When he came back out, hair still damp, you set out the first-aid kit and lifted yourself up onto the counter, motioning for him to come stand in front of you. Although the smell of blood was mostly off him now, some of the stubborn stains couldn't be washed out with just soap and water.

"I told you I'm fine," he said, squeezing your shoulder gently.

"Bloodstains can lead to infections," you scolded. "Especially if it's not your blood." You put on a pair of medical gloves and dabbled some medical alcohol onto a cotton swab, holding his face in one hand and cleaning off the darkened red with the other. After that was done and cleaned up, you looked at him with a soft smile.

"I really want to kiss you right now." you whispered, much to Tartaglia's delight. He laughed again, putting his hands on your waist and leaning in to kiss you, surprisingly soft lips crashing against your own. 

"You can kiss me anytime you like, cutie."

It'd been a long day - your first official day commanding a Fatui troop, facing the Fontaine army in a sickeningly brutal battle. You returned to your quarters after freshening up, thankful to let go of the bloodthirsty persona you'd put on all day just to make the troops take you seriously. You could've asked a certain Harbinger for help, yes, but you wanted to prove that you could command on your own. 

When you opened your door, you hadn't expected to see Childe reclining in the chair you had in the corner, a smirk on his face. Your most annoying, yet closest, companion, friends ever since you both joined the Fatui ranks. "I heard you won the battle."

"How did you get in?" You huffed, feigning annoyance. He produced a key from his pocket and dangled it in the air. 

"Us Harbingers know how to get extras."

"You're annoying." You said as you flopped down on the bed, facedown in the pillows.

"In all seriousness, though, I'm so proud of you." Those words made you sit back up, laughing as you thought it was a joke. "Hey! I'm serious! I'm so proud of you I could kiss you!"

"Archons, what's gotten into you?" You said with a smile. He was usually flirty, but this seemed like another step forward. "If you're serious, I'd gladly take you up on the offer."

He paused for a moment, weighing his options before standing up and sitting on the edge of your bed. You inched closer to him, unsure of what to do next. "Are we really about to do this-"

"Shut up and kiss me," he said almost breathlessly, putting on hand on the small of your lower back and the other on the back of your head. His lips met yours in a sickeningly sweet kiss, almost like cotton candy, the taste of lemon and honey left over on his tongue from the tea-drinking habit he'd picked up in Liyue. Separating after what felt like an eternity, he moved one of his hands to cup your cheek, rubbing his thumb against your skin. 

"That was... sur..surprisingly.. archons.. surprisingly good," you whispered, his smirk now softened. Tartaglia was just so beautiful, and you couldn't get enough of it. "Look at you, making me fumble over my words."

"Oh, sweetheart... it's far from the last time." He said with a chuckle, as he leaned in to kiss you again.

ofc! sorry this took me forever TT-TT but here you go! i'm not too familiar with junichiro's character but i gave it my best shot!

✧ he thinks he's bad with them but is actually really good at it

Hi! I wanted to send something since I saw your requests are open. How about a reader with powerful telekinesis abilities finding Chuuya right after he was betrayed by sheep and taking him in? Completely platonic relationship, of course, MC somehow ends up becoming a big sibling/parental figure to Chuuya and gives him a place to call home. But then things go wrong and MC almost dies because of the port mafia so Chuuya has no choice but to join to ensure their safety. They get to see each other multiple times over the years but around the time Dazai leaves the mafia, MC disappears. No one knows where they went, not even the mafia can find them, leaving Chuuya all alone. 😞

✧ you do come home though, explaining that you were in the hospital and convincing him you're fine

✧ the next time it happens, he sets out looking for you

✧ and finds you half-dead in an alleyway

✧ after that he joins the mafia to help protect you

✧ unfortunately, he rises through the ranks and is forced to move out but he still visits often

✧ one of those visits, though, you don't answer the door, you're not in the house, you're not answering your phone

✧ and you're not in the mafia records, either

✧ that's about when he develops his alcohol dependency

situation update (please read if you're interested in my blog, content, and future updates).

hello everyone! i hope everyone's doing well. for the past few months my activity has been decreasing and the past month has been almost silent, and i am so sorry for this. there's some stuff going on at home and at school that i don't feel comfortable posting online but that has gotten in the way of my daily life and schedule. i haven't had the time or motivation, or the healthy mental headspace, to post regularly. this breaks my heart as well because i know some of you enjoy my writing and i feel like i have a lovely following and community on this site. i'm not leaving tumblr, however!! i promise i'll be back. as it stands right now my situation should be looking better around late october / early november, but this might change. thank you all for continuing to support my blog despite its silence and for all your support on my posts. i'm already at 73 followers and it truly baffles me!!

as of now, i do not plan to update with any writing until my situation resolves. that way i'll be able to produce more quality content.

as an apology, my inbox is still open. my 50-follower event will be open as well, and although i'm not going to put it on the list, i will not be putting a limit on slots until i return. i have some asks i need to add to the list but for now, until i come back, if the slots go over i'll do all of them.

with matchups, i'm so sorry for the continued delay on them. i really enjoyed doing them and i promise i will get around to finishing them as soon as i possibly can.
