Needed to get out of the house and went for a boot in the car. The day was amazingly sunny and as we drove, we encountered rain that turned into hail! Went as far as Kingston and came back. Made it a long weekend and hubby and we took the Friday to wander to some of our favourite places to eat in Roncesvalles and found ourselves at the CNE for opening day. Learning to sail is a gradual once a week progress but I feel that I am getting outside of my comfort zone because there is always something to learn! I love how in-tune with nature that I feel on a day that we sail, being on the water is super calming, comforting, and very de-stressing. This week we weren’t sure if we would be heading out but kept an eye on the weather radar and weather forecasts and when the thunderstorms cleared, we decided to give it a shot. I am sure glad we decided to go out because it was such a lovely sail! Sure, we got a brief bit of rain but the colours that showed up on that magical Tuesday just made it all worth it!
