Have you ever wanted an #Adventure #Comic about a #Tomahawk #Hatchet wielding, #Magical #SnowMan #Inuit statue drawn by a 15 year old #FrankFrazetta? Your wish would've come true in 1944 in the pulpy pages of #TallyHoComics issue 1- Frankie's first published work with #JohnGiunta. When asked about Snowman, Frank said, "All I did was one story, I was the kid who created the character. I did the pencils, and Giunta did the inking. I was only a kid, I didn't even know how it was done." According to Hero Goggles: "Snowman is an idol statue of a protector that looks over a tribe of #Eskimo natives in the Arctic North. He has the look of a snowman with a blue baseball cap, buttons and boots, smoking a pipe and armed with a hatchet. When the villainous #Fang is deposited on their shores and attacks the natives, they pray to the "mighty one" to protect them and Snowman comes to life. Snowman defeats him by throwing the villain into a crocodile pit." Whaddya say? Is Snowman ready and ripe for a glorious #ComeBack/#ReBoot? Minus all the racial stereotypes of the time of course- I think it could be a real fun project. And truthfully, I just really want to see Fang with a gang of bumbling crocodile henchmen. 😂😂😂 Who's with me? Oh, just me?
