The Lost Bay comes to life!!!
Hey folks, in the next few weeks I'll be launching the crowdfunding campaign for The Lost Bay, a dark fantasy tabletop RPG set in 199X.
Tumblr media
I've been working on it for years, and thanks to the feedback and support of the numerous folks who played the early access version, the game is now ripe to go to print.
But what is it exactly?
The Lost Bay is a dark fantasy tabletop RPG. It’s set in alternate 199X. The Lost Bay is also the name of the game setting, a small coastal suburb, both familiar and uncanny, where the mundane and the magical mix inextricably. Living Saints, rituals, blood curses are part of the characters’ daily life alongside console games, VHS tapes, and phone booths.
The Lost Bay is a set of three booklets. It contains everything you need to play: character creation, core rules, advanced tips and toolkits, detailed setting and bestiary.
Tumblr media
The cool thing is that you get to play powerful characters, roaming in a weird and at times dark world.
The system in a nutshell
Three attributes, and a d6 dice pool for all your Action Rolls or Saves.
One resource to fuel your Powers.
Powers always succeed but can get you a Scar.
Scars can hurt you, make you more powerful, or change you. They are specific to each Vibe.
If you get all the Scars and you manage to survive them, you become a Living Saint, an immortal roaming the Bay. YOU become the Lore of the Bay.
What’s in the books?
User Guide: character creation and core rules, ten playable classes, three post-death special classes, custom character growth, Scar tables.
GM Guide: tips and toolkits, advanced rules, adventure building frameworks, examples and designer commentary.
Travel guide: extensive ready to use setting, exploration procedures, pre-gen point-crawls, six full-fledged districts featuring: locations, NPCs, Bosses, complications, rumors, treasures, adventure seeds.
Tumblr media
If this sounds cool to you stay tuned for more updates about the game, or follow the Kickstarter page to be notified on launch
If you have any questions about the game feel free to fire them, I'd be happy to answer. And if you want to try it come and say hi on The Lost Bay server, we play the game regularly, and I even do 60minutes intro to it for folks who just want to give it a quick try https://discord.com/invite/37XBQVr7eP
Cheers

hey i love seeing ur posts about comp tf2, do you have any advice for a wannabe sixes medic? ive been watching a lot of recorded games and demo reviews and stuff and it looks like a lot of fun but actually playing a match myself sounds so daunting and scary
hello anon! thanks for asking and im glad that youve thought about playing comp :)
this ended up really long so under the cut it goes
to start with some outside stuff youll need:
a discord account
a mic (or any other audio input device)
mumble (optional)
from what ive seen, the biggest leagues all have discord servers where players can find scrims or teams and teammates (in the case of rgl) but also teams use discord because its a quick, easy and cheep way to keep in touch
now, a league, there are 5 leagues but ive only played in 2 of them as they are region specific, there are:
rgl (NA/north american league)
etf2l (EU/european league)
ozfortress (oceania/australia league)
asiafortress (asian league, site is down rn?)
ugc (international, the old league where it all started)
now the best way to get into comp is probably through a newbie cup, a shorter season for new players with dedicated coaches provided, but the only one that regularly runs is by an NA pug group, speaking of, another good way to start is through pugs! (or mixes if youre in eu) pugs or pick up games or mixes are run either by the league or an independent person, in NA the biggest non-league pug group i know is tf2 coaching central or tf2cc for short, they also run the newbie cup and are based entirely on discord! in EU, mixes are run usually through sites and require mumble, the biggest being tf2center which id say is much more beginner friendly and hosts more formats than the other site, tf2pickup.eu where you can only play 6s and will usually find players that have been playing since season 2 (etf2l is on season 47)
also! every friday (if there are enough people) there are newbie mixes! basically a mix/pug with a coach, i havent personally played but ive heard its good
now if you find a league that works for you, heres some settings that youll need:
enable developer console
this will allow you to open the developer console, this is a nifty little thing because it allows you to do all kinds of crap, for example, connecting to a specific server if you have the connect info, which is very important in comp, you can change the button that opens the console at the very bottom of the settings
Tumblr media
thats how the dev console looks like, heres how to find it:
Tumblr media
change your fov to 90
this can be either done in the settings or by putting fov_desired 90 into the console, 90 is the max you can set it to in the settings but if you want more fov then feel free to change this to something else like 130 for example. this is done because the default tf2 fov doesnt let you see as much as 90 and having that information is crucial, especially for medic
now for the actually medic specific stuff
in the advanced settings there are two key things you need to turn on, 1) keep healing even when not pressing the fire key and 2) autocall for medic if below 99% health
the first one is a no brainer, youre gonna be healing constantly for 2 hours or more if you play a season as medic and your fingers will cramp up if you just keep holding down mouse1 so this ones for that
the second one is a bit odd, why autocall? well it might help you find spies or find your way back to your team if you get lost without having to comm it out, it also shows you if a teammate got damaged very recently because of the small cross above their head, this is important because then it will take more time to heal them up
Tumblr media
uber masking
when you are about to hit 100% ubercharge, press E, and the "medic!" voiceline is gonna override the very loud and very obvious "I AM FULLY CHARGED" voiceline, tldr: you dont want the other team to know that you have uber
uber counting
the average stock uber can be built in 40-50 seconds, at the start of the round your ubers are the same but they will get offset as the game goes on, when the enemy medic spawns count in your head to 40 or watch the clock for 40 seconds and at the end of that 40 seconds they will have uber
uber related callouts:
"we have ad" (=we have more uber than them)
"we have disad" (=we have less uber than them)
"they have" (=they have uber, be cautious)
"we have" (=we have uber, yay!)
"its even/equal" (=the ubers are the same)
"med dropped!" (=the other medic dropped uber, you now have a lot of ad, you will hear this from your teammates)
"he got a saw on me" (=their medic is running ubersaw and just hit me, they have 25 more uber)
"use" (=pop it)
"use on me/use on [class]" (=use uber on a specific person or class, usually scout or demo)
"big ad/disad" (=the difference between our ubers is big, around 50% difference)
"small ad/disad" (=the difference between our ubers is small, anywhere from 20% to 5% difference)
thats a lot of callouts but dont fear, youll get a hang of it soon :)
the ideal loadout
crusaders crossbow
stock medigun
solemn vow
i did mention the ubersaw but its use is much more niche and works the best when the enemy team is shit, the solemn vow also lets you see the enemy medics uber if you see him but dont use this as a crutch and also call out enemy health ("demo is 50!" and then your flank scout game ends him), ill go over the weapons now
crusaders crossbow
the weapon with most skill, it allows you to heal your team at large distances, your teammates will usually say "arrow me" or "arrow me [location]" and then you shoot them and heal em up, the crusaders crossbow is also used in rollouts a lot, process and gullywash for example both require you to arrow someone mid rollout, i have a few aim training maps linked in my other medic tips post which also, funny enough, have a clip of how comms usually sound so thats cool
stock medigun
other than the kritzkrieg, the stock is the only medigun allowed in standard 6s, its the most consistent medigun and also makes you invincible for 8 seconds, you mentioned watching demos of other players and usually when they do a push into a point they uber the demo so that he can jump in unharmed, then the scout to go fast and the back on demo because hes the 2nd most important class here (the 1st is you!! so dont die!!)
honorary kritz mention
in lower divs, kritz isnt usually played, its an element of surprise weapon and it takes 32 seconds to get uber but 32 is an awkward number so we usually just count to 30 and use the 2 seconds to run :)
the kritz is much more widely used in highlander but ive seen some great playes with it in 6s too
some medigun strats before we move onto melee:
building uber with a boston basher scout
your scout is your escort now, random encounters lied to you, medics do, in fact, heal scouts
give your players a buff (overheal) when youre in spawn and waiting to move, its needed for rollouts in most cases, heal order is usually demo -> roamer -> demo again -> psolly
you need to heal as much as you can, this is a race to get uber
players will come up to you and ask for buffs, its usually soldiers and they will usually jump away shortly after
the ubersaw and the head
the solemn vow is a much better choice of melee then the ubersaw simply due to the fact that you can see enemy health and uber, but i cant deny that the ubersaw saved my ass a few times, still, use the head
now thats the weapons, lets get onto the more interpersonal relationships between teammates
the general playerbase of comp is sweaty gamer cishet guys but ive found that many of them are cool (despite the reputation of sweaty gamer cishet guys) and they are cool especially in rgl
heres some tips,
keep your tumblr private from your team
they dont know the lore of tf2 and 9 times out of 10 dont really care for it
just keep the discussion to comp
many of them are down to play casual or even valve comp if you ask
feel free to ask for tips! they love giving tips!
you will be judged for being a medic player but in a joking matter (they dont usually like playing medic so theyre glad that someone else is lol)
they will show you cool shit (usually clips of airshots)
tf2 comp players are a bit edgy at times, sometimes people just say slurs but not the n word with a hard R or anything (ps. you can report people if they say a slur mid game in chat)
a lot of the time they are gonna tell it to you straight, if youre bad then they will tell you youre bad at xy and z and if you dont improve then they will just call you open (<- lowest division in etf2l/derogatory term for anyone who isnt in open)
in a team you have the team leader who schedules everything and runs this team and talks to the admins, maybe a co-tl who helps with team leader stuff, the main roster which is just the players who play most often, the subs who substitute the main roster when someone cant make it but you still want to play and lastly the ringers(NA term)/mercs(EU term) who are outsiders you call in if your pscout just called in sick and the pscout sub is on vacation and you really need a player
classes
its at the bottom because i forgot about it lol?
6s has 2 soldiers, 2 scouts, a demo and a medic
they are split into the flank and the combo, the combo is with the medic and the flank is not
demo:
you will need to heal this guy a lot, he takes a lot of damage and gives out a lot of damage, he can trap down an area or spam down a choke, will be with you in most of your ubers, make sure this guy is buffed
pocket scout:
the scout in the combo, your escort and personal bodyguard (kinda), hes gonna build with you, pick you up from spawn when you die and is most likely gonna be the maincaller (=person who calls the shots in a comp match like when to retreat and what not)
pocket soldier:
in all honesty idfk what this guy does, he wants heals and watches chokes, spams rockets down chokes too, sacs for med (=jumps on the medic and kills them hopefully)
flank scout:
watches flanks, wants heals, can replace your pscout if he dies, will offclass if need be (offclassing is the act of switching your class to a different one that isnt standard in 6s like sniper or heavy)
roamer (flank soldier):
i also dont know what the fuck the roamer does, its basically the same as psolly but he watches flanks and offlcasses and has a different rollout
post game
so after you play your first game of comp, write ".ss" into the chat, this will open a window with your logs for that match and you can see how you did that game! if you want you can also download the demo from demos.tf if you look up your steam name it should show up, there are other sites where you can see how you did like more.tf which is a nicer looking site and also you can compare specific players and see more stuff so thats cool! theres also trends.tf where you can see how you did over time and basically every stat you can think of even down to the time youve spent playing a class in comp, heres my overview on trends.tf if you wanna see all that it shows (ps. most of my recent games are 4v4 because of a cup lol)
last thing before the end, i did make a post about medic tips a while ago and those apply here as well
tf2 competitive wiki if you want to learn callouts and other stuff
so! thats the basics of 6s med :) gl hf and feel free to dm me if you have any more questions
edit: i forgot to mention b4nny, the lord and savior of competitive tf2 and while he doesnt play med much he has a lot of experience and knows a lot about comp and just has a lot of resources for comp

can u explain what tf2 is ? as in depth as possible, if it's not an inconvenience ^^
ANON YOU'VE MADE MY DAY PLEASE MARRY ME /j ohhhhhh boy strap in i'm about to give you one hell of an infodump(seriously this is pretty long there's a lot to cover) team fortress 2(tf2) is a class-based multiplayer shooter game released in 2007 by game developer valve. it was originally developed off a quake mod and released alongside two other valve games-portal and half-life(eps 1 and 2, and hl 2)-as part of the orange box. it is free to play off steam and is the most fun you can have online.
GAMEPLAY
tf2 is generally played in a team vs team format - red vs blue. mainly gonna talk about casual since competitive has its own rules and servers also do sometimes.
there are nine classes/ 'playable characters' - scout - soldier - pyro - demoman - heavy - engineer - medic - sniper - spy
each class has its own function/role on the team. these roles are grouped into 3 different 'types' based on how the class is meant to be played- offense(scout, soldier, pyro), defense(demo, heavy, engineer), and support(sniper, medic, spy), although this system is slightly outdated.
offensive classes are the frontline classes, they're the 'attackers' so to speak. their main function is damage dealing and breaking through the enemy team's frontlines to advance the efforts of their own team.
defensive classes are exactly what they sound like: defense. if the enemy team has manages to break through the frontlines, defense classes are there to deal with them. their main function is to stop the enemy team from advancing.
support classes are also what the name says. they support the efforts of the rest of the team.
CLASSES (please keep in mind i am by no means an expert and these are just the main purposes of the classes. also, i will only be covering the stock weapons, as there are a multitude of alternate weapons and playstyles for each class and if i went into detail about all of them we'd be here all day lol)
SCOUT: the scout's main function is to get in and out and deal damage fast. he has the fastest base movement speed of all classes at 133%. he has a base health of 125, with 185 health with full overheal. he is the only class that can double jump. his stock weapons are the scattergun as the primary, pistol as the secondary, and baseball bat as melee.
SOLDIER: the soldier is mainly meant to be a damage dealer and is very good for clearing out groups of enemy players quickly at mid to long range. his base movement speed is 80%, one of the lowest in the game. base health is 200, 300 with full overheal. the soldier can rocket jump, the act of shooting a rocket at the ground and jumping to launch yourself into the air and across the map, an ability shared with the demoman. soldiers are also effective at destroying engineer nests. soldier's stock weapons are the rocket launcher, shotgun, and shovel.
PYRO: the pyro is most effective clearing out groups of enemy players at close range by setting them on fire. base movement speed is 100%. base health is 175, 260 full overheal. enemies set on fire are subjected to afterburn and take extra damage over time even if they are not being actively attacked. the pyro also has the ability to deflect projectiles(rockets, grenades, arrows, ect.) with their airblast. it can also be used to push away enemy players and extinguish teammates that are on fire. pyro's stock weapons are the flamethrower, shotgun, and fire axe.
DEMOMAN: the demoman specialises in dealing damage through explosions. base movement speed is 93%. base health is 175, 260 full overheal. demo has two main explosive types: stckybombs and grenades. grenades are like rockets in that they expload on contact with enemy players. stickybombs are useful in laying traps, as they do not detonate immediately and can stick to buildings and other surfaces and can be remotely detonated by the player. both can be used in a similar way as rocket jumping. demos are also effective at destroying engineer nests. stock weapons are the grenade launcher, stickybomb launcher, and bottle.
HEAVY: the heavy weapons guy(heavy) is good for mowing down enemies quickly. base movement speed is 77%, slowest in the game. base health 300, 450 overheal, most health in the game. heavy's minigun has a very high firing rate and thus a high damage output but is slowed significantly while firing. stock weapons are the minigun, shotgun, and fists.
ENGINEER: the engineer specialises as the main defensive live. base movement speed is 100%. base health is 125, 185 overheal. the engineer's main ability is constructing buildings. the building he can construct are the sentry gun, dispenser, and teleporter. the sentry gun is a stationary gun that targets enemy players at mid to close range. dispensers are stationary buildings that provide ammunition and health to teammates. teleporters are used to transport teammates around the battlefield quickly. a collection of all these buildings together is sometimes referred to as a nest. the engineer technically has four weapon slots as opposed to the usual three- the stock weapons slots are the shotgun, pistol, and wrench, along with the pda which is used to monitor buildings.
SNIPER: the sniper's main purpose is picking off important enemies at long range. base movement speed is 100%. base health 125, 185 overheal. headshot with the sniper rifle is a guaranteed critical hit that will kill most classes instantly(unless the enemy is overhealed) and a fully charged headshot will instantly kill all classes(unless ubercharged). the rifle charge is built while scoped(zoomed in). stock weapons are the sniper rifle, smg, and kukri.
MEDIC: the medic's job is to heal teammates. base movement speed is 107%. base health is 150, 225 overheal. the medic technically has no primary weapon and instead has the medigun, which heals injured teammates. fully healed teammates get overheal going up to 150% of the player's base health. healing teammates builds ubercharge, that, once fully charged, is used to make both the medic and the target to the charge invincible for 8 seconds. the medic's stock weapons are the medigun, syringe gun, and bonesaw.
SPY: the spy is a stealth class mean to infiltrate the enemy team and kill targets undetected. base movement speed is 107%. base health is 125, 185 overheal. the spy has the ability to cloak and become invisible or diguise as enemy(and friendly) players. the spy can also backstab, instantly killing the enemy when attacked from behind. spy can also disable and destroy engineer buildings using the electro-sapper. the spy also technically has four weapon slots- stock weapons are the revolver and knife, as well as the disguse kit and invis watch.
GAMEMODES
the main game modes i'm going to talk about are capture the flag, control point, payload, and mann vs machine, as those are generally the most played. capture the flag, control point, and payload are all team vs team, and mann vs machine is technically player vs everyone
CAPTURE THE FLAG pretty simple, the main objective is to get inside the enemy's base and steal their intelligence and bring it back to your own base without getting killed. if a player carrying the intel is killed, it is dropped in that spot and can be picked up by either team. if it is picked up by team it belongs to, it is sent back to their base. if the intel is not picked up within sixty seconds it is also sent back.
CONTROL POINT both teams work to capture all control points. depending on the map, the method of capturing the points may be different, but overall play remains much the same. to capture a point it must be stood on by a member of a team for a certain amount of time. that player must be uncontested(no players from the other team at that point). more teammates on a point mean the point is captured faster. scouts also capture points at twice the speed of one player. there are typically an odd number of points. depending on where the point is, it can be locked, captured, or neutral. locked points cannot be captured by the opposing team until the point before it is captured. captured points are points that are captured but can be taken by the opposing team. neutral points have not been captured by either team.
PAYLOAD the attacking team(blu) attempts to deliver a bomb through a series of checkpoints into the defending base(red) within five minutes. players push the cart foreward by standing on or next to it. each checkpoint the cart reaches adds time to the clock. the more people pushing the cart, the faster it moves. if any member of the opposing team stands next to the cart, the movement is stopped until that player is chased away or killed. if there are no players pushing the cart after thirty seconds, the cart begins to slowly move backwards.
MANN VS MACHINE a group of three to six players fight a horde of robot versions of each class attempting to deliver a bomb into a mann co stronghold. the robots attack in waves and the players must defeat each wave to defend the stronghold and prevent the robots from delivering the bomb. there is a period of set up time for players to choose weapons, set up buildings, and build ubercharge before fighting. dead robots drop money, which can be used to buy upgrades for weapons and ammo, as well as health and crits. medics can also revive dead players, allowing them to get back to fighting faster.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
and that's the game! i didnt include the lore becasue it isnt really necessary to know to understand the game but if yall want to to i can make a continuation of this that explains the lore as well :) also if i got anything wrong feel free to correct me i mainly based this off my own experience and what the wiki says. im not perfect.
if you want even more information about everything i talked about, here are some useful links: official tf2 wiki official tf2 website
and also the petition for #fixtf2, bc the game is kind of overrun by bots atm :(

writing prompt: Doc's evil monologue is inconveniently timed
Docm77 was having A Time.
What sort of time, you may ask? Well, depending on who you asked, that question was either incredibly simple or very complicated indeed. To an outside observer, the event that had just transpired would be a win! He'd gotten a nice bit of decoration for the Perimeter, and for free to boot. Any other hermit would have laughed at it, or spun it into a win for both of them, or taken the blow in dignified silence whilst planning their revenge in subtler, more hinged ways.
Docm77 was about as hinged as a wall, which, since walls don't have hinges, was very unhinged indeed. (Don't tell him that, though. He might take offense and then you'd have to listen to one of his infamous hour-long monologues.)
Wait, did someone say monologue?
(Oh, fuck.)
Standing in front of the newly cursive-ificated Optimize, Survive, Grind, Thrive or whatever it read sign with balled hands on shaking hips, he took a deep, heavy breath and let a single word float into the air as a precursor to the fire that was to follow.
"Fuck."
Letting the enormity of the curse that was just uttered sink in, Doc began pacing and started letting loose another string of incredibly choice words, most of them incredibly specific and in German. A casual observer passing by would probably have paused in interest, thinking to themself "what the fuck is this guy's problem?"
Doc then proceeded to go off on a very long and very passionate monologue about flowers, their choices of decorations, how fucking much he fucking hated shallow quotes like this, and how he would so, so, so definitely hand them their asses on a silver platter once they were gone. Their destruction would be methodical and complete. Their bases would be in tatters and aptly ruined shreds, left for the wolves and the carrion. All that they had ever known and ever loved and ever held dear would be dead, held under the earth in infinite rapport by his malice and his wrath. Grian may have the Watchers on his side, but Doc bet that none of them could do advanced redstone. They were fucked. So, so fucked. Doc knew a way that you could corrupt a chunk so that anyone who entered it would instantly hard crash, and if that chunk happened to be someone's base, well-
"Hey, Doc?" came a familiar and concerned voice from behind him. "I don't mean to interrupt, buddy, but you asked for a shulker box of gunpowder earlier on short notice and I'm here to deliver."
"Oh, shit," said Doc, whipping around and retreating a half step on the edge of a conveniently placed hole in the bedrock to physically distance himself from Xisuma, who was standing with a very concerned expression on his face. "Uh, how much of that did you hear?"
"Most of it," said Xisuma with a small wince. "And, uh, some of the things you mentioned doing are... not exactly legal."
"It's all hypothetical," Doc backtracked hastily. "I'm just- I'm just- you know how I get when I'm mad. I won't actually do most of that stuff."
"Most of it?" asked Xisuma, raising one eyebrow.
Doc coughed. "By which I mean, all of it. Sorry."
X looked at him for a long moment before shrugging and pushing the shulker box towards him. "Alright, then," he said lightly, but with an aura of still not being entirely convinced. "Enjoy your gunpowder."
"Thanks," Doc said automatically, watching him fly off into the sky with a distinct feeling of dread.
The last time any of this had happened on this scale, he and Grian combined had basically overloaded the server itself and basically set Xisuma's house on fire. The consequences had been harrowing.
It had been just one time though, right?
He would be fine.

Infinite Tech Witchwarper (Witchwarper Alternate Class Feature)
Tumblr media
(art by Methiston on DeviantArt)
I do love a gadgeteer hero, someone who always has the right equipment for the job on hand, even when it doesn’t always make sense.
An interesting subtype of the gadgeteer hero, however, is the “arsenal” hero. Typically a “battle mage” of some kind, their whole gimmick is that they have a weapon and/or armor set for every situation, often conjuring them to their hands to replace whatever armament they previously held or wore.
And with the witchwarper, a spellcaster that literally calls upon objects and energies from alternate realities, it only makes sense that there would be some among them that utilize their talents in such a way!
I doubt that this specialization would manifest by accident, so I imagine that those that wield this power trained themselves to focus on weapons and armaments when they tap into the possibilities of other worlds and realities. Perhaps they are soldiers or mercenaries, or they desperately wished for a weapon to defend themselves when they were in danger, and their power awakened and answered.
Either way, their gifts have given them a way to answer any question that their foes and the hazards around them may ask.
With an expenditure of magical energy, these mages can conjure a suit of light armor (with upgrades if resolve is also spent), a basic melee weapon, or a sidearm. Though these armaments may resemble familiar models, they are extradimensional in nature and as such the skill of the mage and the amount of energy they expended determines their damage output and defensive capabilities, allowing them to tailor the armor with the upgrades they need, or the weapons with the damage type and special properties they need.
The greater the magical energy they expend, the more potent their creations become. Armor gains elemental resistances, additional upgrade slots, greater durability. Meanwhile, weapons gain critical hit effects, additional properties, and increases to their damage output.
With this specialization, this version of the witchwarper is less a battlefield control specialist and more a secondary combatant able to tailor their gear to the situation at hand, especially if you’re using the enhanced version of the class that gets a lot of extra uses of infinite worlds. I recommend combat feats to flesh out their ability to stand alongside more combat-focused classes, as well as spells that can hamper and damage foes to make hammering them hard with your conjured weapons as well as your more real mainstays easier. From there, make a list of useful armor upgrades so you can quickly pick them out when going on the defensive.
I said before that these weapons and armor may resemble familiar models  despite using a level-generated stat line, but they don’t have to if you do not wish. You might wield armor that resembles medieval designs, or weapons that function but are very different in terms of design aesthetic, such as an electrical pistol that is accompanied by deafening peals of thunder when fired, or a staff that bleeds flame along it’s length. Feel free to be creative with it!
Hoping to starve them out of advanced resources, the Jolin Corporation blockaded the planet in hopes of quelling the copaxi revolts at their facilities. However, they sorely underestimated the flexibility of the coral-folk. Not only have their biotechnicians begun replicating the advanced tech of the outsiders in biotech form, but more than a few copaxi guerillas have a knack for warping reality, conjuring living weapons from their imagination to fight the company’s occupation.
In order to learn about the mysterious weapon-conjuring mercenary the party has repeatedly encountered, they need to sneak into a server room owned by the corporation that he seems to be connected to. Doing so means braving the automated defenses, including a serpentine hybrid tech guardians, an arcane asp!
The recent string of killings that have occurred seem to have no connection at first, but as one looks into the details, one begins to realize that the murder weapons are all strange and unique devices, leading the investigators to conclude that the wielder must be a tinkering weaponsmith, have raided a warehouse of experimental designs, or perhaps strangest of all, is making them up as they go.
