Various Things I’ve Observed About & During Digimon Adventure 2020 / Asked Questions About:

(As this is an older post, moved under the ‘read more’!)

{rambling past this point is likely Outdated, if some things left Unanswered!}:

- “ OLD NET “ is mentioned in Agumons’ profile -- likely relates well to Valdurmon’s Story - Taichi and Koushiro now live in the same building ( confirmed by profiles ) - “Musako Elementary” instead of “Odaiba”...?? - Taichi still knew Sora pre-series - Koushiro’s meeting Taichi / his mannerisms being similar to Kakudous’ Novels, though still not as exactly ( in the Digimon Adventure Novels written by the original Adventure director/Head writer, Hiroyuki Kakudou, Koushiro joins Taichi [& Sora]’s football/soccer club early on pre-series as it’s a “requirement” to join a club, and the soccer club seems like it’d take the least effort [implied, of socializing with others]. Koushiro, however, is then invited by Taichi to join the summer camp, and Koushiro notes how Taichi particularly treats people “without discrimination” - which seems to include Koushiro himself. ) - Taichi treats Koushiro in a very similar way here; immediately inviting Koushiro in and treating him “without discrimination” even more notably. - Taichi’s summer camp (confirmed by profiles) was to be at “ THE END “ of that “week”, when Koushiro first encounters him i.e. Taichi+Koushiro’s encounter took place around the “week” before the summer camp, introducing Taichi+Koushiro to the Digimon some of a week in advance of the camp compared to original Adv i.e. BEFORE August 1st is when Taichi+Koushiro Meet

- GLOWING BALL[S] OF LIGHT (also seen during quick evolutions [Ep 14]) . . . - Koushiro’s / Tentomon’s is Purple - SO Is The One (?) AT THE END OF THE OPENING SONG

- Which Taichi Is Reaching For . . . (note: Agumon’s Ball of Light is more notably Orange) - So Is The Glowing Ball of Light when “ WISDOM STONE ” Text Appears On Koushiro’s Tablet

- The Possible Continuing Inclusion Of “IDEA” + Adv Director Kakudou’s Past Gnosticism References; it’s been confirmed at times the various anime series would use inspiration from these ( and this definitely included Tri using “IDEA” ) + DigiEggs [Digitama] dropping from the “Sky” of the Network from a Large Egg (Resembling Parrotmons) and how this relates (....????) to “IDEA”

+ APOCALYMON (& Meicoomons in Tri)’ Connections To “IDEA” in Kakudou’s 3rd novel ( Apocalymon has Connections to these Themes ) -- Will Apocalymon still appear by the end ??? + Lack of the Aurora when comparing to the Original

( Note: you can read the 3rd Adventure novel at the index here, and also specifically here is where there are various references to “Idea” with Apocalymon! ) ( you can try to Search for “Idea” in the text using CTRL+F keys ) ( for the scene / parallels with Tri, note the opening scene of Tri here + the ending revelations concerning MEICOOMONS’ ORIGIN )

(From The Start) + Various Questions He’s Asked...

- He Communicates with Others who Know ( though they don’t always have the answers ):

- KOUSHIRO’S TABLET UPGRADE + “WISDOM STONE” + “TACHIKAWA COMPUTERS” ( Explained briefly, but How Deep Does It Go ? ) + How Involved are Tachikawa Computers ?

- When Evil Digimon die, they disappear as Digital data

- If they “turn good” again (Andromon), ....?? - LACK OF A “ PRIMARY VILLAGE “ thus far ( Does It Even EXIST HERE ???? ) - What happens when MORE Good Digimon die ...?? - ANGEMON ........................ - In the original, Devimon is partially defeated thanks to using the (as described in-story; Japanese version) “ HOLY ” Light of the Digivice[s] [the Digivice is also frequently called “Holy Device”] - when Taichi & the rest aim them & it helps power up Angemon - How will this be Different in DigiAdv 2020, considering the New Digivices & Power ups they’ve Already had, etc.??? - How Powerful Is Devimon ??? - HOW POWERFUL IS DEATHMON ????? ( PROBABLY EXTREMELY POWERFUL )

- “Eyesmon” Being Born Just Before The Blackout - The Red Lights on both “Eyesmon”s’ egg ( & possibly - on top of the buildings where the blackout stops .... ?? ? )

[ ^ the scenery when it is hatching is eerie, and seems (??) to be indicating a possible Foreshadowing ? ]

^ This is just a theory so take this one with a grain of salt BUT it seems Significant that Red Lights covered notably Eyesmons’ egg, in comparison to Algomon’s

- Hikari Still Seems To “ Know Things “ Which COULD still be Homeostasis Influence ( see: Adventure episode 45, Tri’s Homeostasis ) - Hikari Doesn’t Appear To Be Sickly BUT COULD Still Get Weary From “Influence” - Seems To Be supporting her brother Regardless? - The Feathers’ shadow falling Dramatically behind her ( Likely Symbolism for Angewomon / Angemon )

- Takeru Seems To Have Some Awareness TOO but ( How Much ) Compared To Hikari ??? - The new ending theme shows him quite energetic seeming, indicating he probably isn’t Sick/ill - However, Yamatos’ issues foreshadowed in his own ending, including dramatic Takeru appearances, possibly still indicating the Takaishi-Ishida Issues - Yamato Might Be Living In Shimane / countryside ( where his Grandmother lived in the movie ) + is asked by Takeru to go to “Tokyo” to visit - When transported to the Digital World, a brief seconds-long shot of shadowed-over TENTOMON appears as Koushiros’ dragged in:

^ THIS VERY MUCH APPEARS TO BE TENTOMON - How Much Does Tentomon “Know” / Remember??? -- How did he feel hearing the story from Valdurmon? - Why Is Only Tentomon Shown (& Not Agumon)??? [when Taichi & Koushiro are pulled in to the Network] ( & was Tentomon showing there Significant ? ) - is Tentomon INTENTIONALLY dragging Koushiro in??? - Koushiro’s Separation WAS Intentional -- confirmed by writers in interview -- they want Koushiro to study the Network “holistically”, hence intentionally separating him, as Koushiro is Brainy -- Koushiro acts as “the brains of the operation” for Taichi, while Yamato & Sora jump in and help -- eventually, issues will begin to involve the Real World as well . . . -- Koushiro is able(?) to speak (if briefly??) “more honestly” with Tentomon much earlier on than in Original Adventure, where even by the final episode, Koushiro found it hard to "speak honestly” (* this shows more obviously if you watch the Japanese subbed version - Koushiro tends to speak Extremely Politely in Japanese and also states this during his conversation with Tentomon; that he still has trouble speaking honestly. He still uses the same speech patterns here, though might have been a bit more direct-seeming with Kabuterimon at the end of Kabuterimons’ evolution episode in Adv 2020 - i.e. his blushing, them lightly bantering, etc.) - Whamon Doesn’t Speak (But Could Later On???) -- In original Adventure (Japanese), Whamon jokes about how he could speak earlier on, he just didn’t want to at the time ( it was along these lines ) -- Possibly could be Similar here -- In Adventure Koushiro helped out via Whamons’ assisting a few times; Whamon specifically shows up to swallow Koushiro ( Intentionally or not ?? ? ? ) - The Complete Lack Of Reference To Izumis (& other parents besides Yuuko), even in flashbacks -- even in early Adventure, Koushiro was having the flashbacks as early as the Kabuterimon episode -- despite his supposed ease at “speaking honestly” here, he has yet to even MENTION Izumis -- “ He Could Just Call Me Koushiro “ when Yamato Pointedly calls him “Izumi”; Koushiro seems bemused - Valdurmons’ Story + The Tasks At Hand (”The Darkness”) + It Will Likely Affect The Real World - Inclusion of DEATHMON - What It Could Mean

“ its effects will SPREAD THROUGH THE NETWORK ”, - Agumon and Piyomon Cry Unintentionally + “ Feel Like They Want To Cry ” Hearing The Story - Agumon and Gabumon seem Aware of Each other - Koromon was shown BRIEFLY in the Network when Algomons’ Fresh stage first appears, jumping towards

- Soundbirdmons’ Role in Controlling Digimon -- enough to have entire armies follow it / Devimon is directing it - Ogremon’s Serving Devimon Via What Devimon Thinks(??) Is Devimon’s Controlling Him (Or....) - Ogremon Is Not As Talkative This Time, ( What Of ) His Rivalry With Leomon ???? -- Ogremon originally wanted to “defeat” Leomon - Did Leomon Escape From Devimons’ Hold Early? -- was he even ever controlled yet (will he be)?? - Leomon Seems To Be (According to Summaries for future episodes) Leading An Uprising; similar to Original!Adv, but, many different elements at play here now (also in original Adventure; Leomon was specifically searching for/interested in the “Holy Device”)

- Leomon IS Slated to Appear (confirmed by his original voice actor on Twitter) - Brief parallels between Adv & Adv 2020 with Devimons’ control of both Ogremon & Leomon; “ Chosen Children ... Kill !! ” While Brainwashed - This Part Being Kept The Same ( despite lack of Black Gears, etc. ) - I.E. It happened in early Adventure TOO - -- they get Blank stares and repeat “ Chosen Children ... Kill [/Defeat] !! “ Repeatedly. (Japanese version of Devimon arc; most notably Leomon repeats the phrase during the episode involving them at Devimons’ mansion) - Lack of Black Gears, but more High[er] Stakes - Koushiro’s Getting of Bad Feelings ( for example: when enemies retreat during the battle with Ogremon; “ is it really over ? ” Koushiro asks, only for even stronger enemies to appear )

- if Koushiro Izumi gets a Bad Feeling, expect it to possibly be Foreshadowing - he seems extremely shocked at the presence of Perfect [Ultimate in US]-level Digimon, despite his previous knowledge of the Network, etc. - The “ Miasma “ ... Is . Already IN THE NETWORK - ALGOMONS’ FORMS WERE USING IT TO POWER UP Commented on already here

when “ WISDOM STONE ” Appears It Makes More Sense If You Analyze Most From The Jewish Viewpoint ( No, It Is Not Just “The Christian Bible” Where These Concepts Appear, OK . . . )

- WHO/WHAT IS SENDING HIM THIS MESSAGE ???? - HOW DOES IT KNOW THE TASK IS “COMPLETE”?
