Kongs Age Rapidly
Kongs in the Mario lore age much faster than gorillas in the real world. This because these are sapient gorillas with their own language, and can build house and operate go-karts in a high fantasy world.
The prime examples are Cranky Kong aka the Original Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr., Tiny Kong, and Implied to be the case for DK III. However, it seems to have applied to only some Kongs at the same time. Also, yes we do see an adult Donkey Kong Junior. We see this in the Super Mario Kart SNES Nintendo Commercial, the Super Mario Kart Japanese Store Promo Video, and art from the box art and manual. Donkey Kong Jr. is actual around the size of Bowser in SMK, and we see an adult DK Jr. in Mario's Tennis. We also might see him in NES Open Tournament Golf.
There could be some weird time dilation or even magic going on here. Or who knows, maybe they are like the Dreemurrs from Undertale. Or who knows, maybe everyone else just ages extremely slow in comparison to the Kongs.

Don't know if I've posted this here but I don't suppose there's any harm in posting what I have on my tablet until I can get back to my computer.
The original caption for this was something along the lines of "I just want them all to be happy and alive."

Fact: Donkey Kong Jr. is often remembered as a baby, which is how he was depicted in many games. However, he has also appeared as an adult in Super Mario Kart, Mario’s Tennis and Mario Kart Tour. Both designs for the character are used depending on when a game is set.

I'ma Judge you for who you main in Mario Kart (Don't take it too seriously)
(these are for Mario Kart 8 deluxe so it doesn't have all the players from tour)
Mario: You are basic or you just started playing Mario Kart and you don't really like any other characters as much
Luigi: You are probably obsessed with this man
Peach: same as Mario but you're probably a girl or a gay adult man
Daisy: you are probably a tomboy
Rosalina: You probably find her attractive (and you're not wrong about that)
Tanooki Mario: You probably think he's a raccoon. You also probably play as him because You wanted to play as Tom Nook but he isn't a playable character in any games you have
Cat Peach: along with what was said about Peach, but I will add furry into that mix
Yoshi: You wish the dinosaurs never went extinct
Toad: You probably impersonate him a lot and your parents hate you for it
Koopa Troopa: You wanted to play as a villain character so you chose this little guy (or you really like turtles with no spikes on them)
Shy Guy: You feel socially awkward a lot and you want to cry in your room until the other person leaves
Lakitu: You like that you can actually see his legs now
Toadette: Same as toad but you are probably a girl or again a gay man
King Boo: You wish it was his Luigi's mansion design because I would look way more cool (I'd also probably main him if it was the L's mansion design)
Baby Mario: No matter how small you are you think you can defeat anyone
Baby Luigi: You like his baby design more
Baby Peach: you think she's an angle
Baby Daisy: You are very strong and people think you wouldn't be able to lift a pencil
Baby Rosalina: Someone else is playing as Rosalina or you are one of those hardcore gamers on YouTube who knows what they are doing
Metal Mario: Takes you back to the good old days (you also weigh a lot probably
Pink Gold Peach: same with peach but you weigh a LOT (you also probably think she should be called rose gold peach)
Wario: You are an old greasy man that loves garlic and money or you think he's funny
Waluigi: You wish this man was your husband no matter which gender you are
Donkey Kong: you like the DK Rap (where are they now)
Bowser: You like being in charge... You are also probably an alcoholic
Dry Bones: You are dead inside
Bowser Jr: You favor your father and don't care about hurting anyone's feelings about saying it. Your parents probably also get in a lot of fights as well.
Dry Bowser: same as Bowser but you are also dead inside
Lemmy: You think he's very wholesome and adorable (or you like midget turtles that are probably gay)
Larry: You like turtles that are easy to beat up
Wendy: You are probably a diva or you put her baldness and fat ass lips aside and played as her anyway
Ludwig: You are probably one of his OBSESSIVE fans who will do anything for him. Or you like classical music. Or both.
Iggy: You are very much mentally unstable, so you chose the character that is just as insane as you are
Roy: You are a Bully and an Asshole
Morton: You probably have this on your agenda, Wake up, eat, eat, eat some more, sleep, wake up in the middle of the night to raid the fridge, eat the food you just stole, sleep, and repeat.
Inkling girl: You are a girl who likes squids and painting
Inkling Boy: same as Inkling Girl but you are a boy instead.
Link: You think you're the "Chosen One"
Villager Boy: You are an Animal Crossing fan who doesn't want to be called a furry
Villager Girl: same as Villager Boy but you are a girl
Isabelle: Same as villager girl and boy but you don't care if you are called a furry (You may or may not be one)
Birdo: You are probably a trans
Kamek: You read a lot of Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings
Petey Piranha: You are the type of person to talk to their Venus flytraps
Wiggler: You like him because he's adorable and you like bugs... or you use the kart that looks like him and make him ride it, then you start calling it slavery
Peachette: If anyone knows what chaos the super crown has brought they would know why you chose her, You whore!
Pauline: You are a talented singer
Diddy Kong: You like monkeys or you're Jane Goodall
Funky Kong: You played so many mods playing as him and you are so happy he's back
Thank you for reading this and remember don't take it seriously this is all a joke.
Also, reblog if you think it's pretty accurate

Bowser and Bowser Jr.'s relationship with the rest of the Mario cast per Mario Superstar Baseball
Mario Superstar Baseball has a "Chemistry" system, that dictates character relationsips. In-game, Chemistry is simplified (characters with good chemistry have a music note, characters with bad chemistry have squiggles) but under the hood, it's actually more complicated: Chemistry ranges from 0-99 and the game only indicates good/bad chemistry at the extreme levels (+90 and -15). This means there are chemistry elements that players may not notice in-game.
Tumblr media
(Image is from the MSB wiki, which exists)
So let's look at Bowser and Bowser Jr. (and any other interesting phenomenon)
Bowser, predictably, has bad chemistry with each of the Team/sub-captains aside from Wario (65) and Waluigi (60). Of the remaining, the only one he has decent chemistry with is... Donkey Kong (41 which, while not great, is nowhere near Mario (15) or the princesses (9 for Peach, 11 for Daisy)
Despite Birdo no longer being portrayed as an Antagonist, she has great chemistry with Shy Guy (90) and decent chemistry with Bowser (71, in contrast with Shy Guy's 85)
Bowser has bad chemistry with all the Toads, but with special mention to Toadette, with a rating of 5. This is the lowest Chemistry rating, shared with Peach and Petey.
Bowser Jr. is where things get interesting. Junior's still on bad terms with the bros but slightly better compared to his father (25 vs 15 for Mario, 30 vs 25 for Luigi).
Unlike Bowser, Junior is on better terms with the Kongs (Diddy: 71 > DK: 69 nice > Dixie: 66).
Junior also has good chemistry with Peach (82), reflecting how he wanted Peach to be his mom during this era. By contrast, Daisy is more "eh" (45).
Junior also has better chemistry with Wario (81) and Waluigi (77)
Despite his father's high chemistry, Junior does not care for Birdo (38)
Toadsworth is racist has bad chemistry with all of the Koopas... aside from Bowser Jr., who somehow gets a 52.
Junior very slightly favors Petey over his father (68/66) but doesn't care as much for King Boo (66/75).
Baby Mario somehow has slightly better chemistry with Bowser than Adult Mario (19/15).
While the Piantas and Nokis have bad chemistry with Bowser (30/35), they have worse chemistry with Bowser Jr. (20/24) and Petey's chemistry with them is so horrid it's actually visible in-game (15/10).
Other observations
Donkey Kong has bad chemistry with Mario & Luigi (30/35). By contrast, Diddy is on more neutral terms (59/55). The Princesses, similarly have worse chemistry with DK (22/24) whereas their chemistry with Diddy is favorable (64/68).
Wario and Waluigi have only two 90+ bonds: Each other, Boo for Wario and Magikoopa/Kamek for Waluigi
Luigi's chemistry with King Boo is one point higher than Baby Luigi's (11/10). Compare this with Mario & Baby Mario (49/33).
Diddy's third highest bond, and the third one that shows up in game, is... Goomba.
Dixie has no particular strong distaste for any character on the roster (her worst bond is Waluigi at 24)
While Toadette/Bowser and Peach/Petey are tied for the worst bond at 5, Daisy/Petey is the second worst at 6.

Donkey Kong Jr. if he was allowed to appear as an adult and not as a sprite from super mario kart
He's kinda the cool dad that travels a lot. He left DK Island for a more peaceful life but will occasionally come back to visit his son and father. I used a couple different artwork of him as reference and ultimately I like the kinda composite design I ended up with.

Hey, what time period/years do you think the games take place in & how long of a time period is between each game? 1980s-1990s? I know that’s a lot to ask about but you seem like the best person likely to have any idea the exact years or time. Love all of this btw
Hey, good question!
Most of the games take place within just a few years. We know at least three years have passed since Mario’s arrival in the Mushroom Kingdom, as Princess Peach has had three separate on-screen birthdays in the games Mario Party, Mario Party 4 and New Super Mario Bros. Wii.
My estimate for the time encompassing a majority of the games where Mario is an adult is a span of 6 years. We know that Mario was 24 to 26 in Donkey Kong, according to Shigeru Miyamoto in multiple interviews:
“I didn't decide on anything except that he was about 24-25 years old.”
“To me, he's more like an older brother, like 24 or 26 years old.”
This would set him at around 30 nowadays, with plenty of room for Peach’s Birthdays and two Mario Kart tournaments per year. It also gives time for certain characters to be born and age (Goombario, Bowser Jr., Donkey Kong) while the main cast doesn’t noticeably get too much older.
There probably isn’t that long between each game, a few weeks or months at most, depending on when they’re set.
As for the span of years, Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart Tour take place around 2014-2015, as is confirmed by various sponsors.
Tumblr media
Since these are some of the latest games in the timeline, every other game would be set in the years leading up to the mid 2010s!
Hope this answers your question!

Scene I did my OCs in my AU, for their designs and anything, I thought it would be fair if each of the Donkey Kong Characters a redesign in my version. Some I design them will be the same but change it up a little bit.
Bio: Candy was born with adoptive mothers who were a local band to earn a few bucks, which makes her interested into Music. While growing up, she seems to have a child yet wild personality regarding adventures. Her parents actually don’t mind, just come back home safely. When she was 6, while out exploring the island, she meets Donkey Kong the third as he also The two of them seem to have a complicated relationship. They started as friends, playing music, swinging on vines and swimming in a river in the summer.
When Candy was an adult, she got a small fountain to open up her own Music Shop, selling instruments and giving Young Kong’s music lessons. Candy and DK would eventually started dating and She teaches DK how to play the bongos, as well as DK teach her how to fight. They both seemed to have a healthy and chilled relationship even when He and his crew adventuring.
When She is not on the job, She would be eventually into role modeling and have her own gaming channel. When Kongo Bongo Island was or not in a Kremling Chaos, She would give advice, and give music lessons to the DK Crew in the DK64 arc. She would even go exploring again even with her own sidekick, Dixie.

Description:
Alice is a spirit animal mixture of an Egyptian cat, serval, tiger, and a leopard. Her father was a lion mixed with leopard spots, her mother was a serval cat mixed with tiger stripes. Her family have the roles into making the kingdom a better place while Alice is looking forward into doing something magical, confusing her family. When Alice was a kitten, she used to befriend the Spirit Animal Kingdom’s Wolf Prince Marcos. His family contains a Wolf/Cape Buffalo hybrid. They are royal rulers of the kingdom; his father was a Cape Buffalo King, and his mother was a Wolf Queen who used to cast spells as her second role, much to Alice’s inspirations coming to her mind.
Marcos and Alice have been chatting for ages during elementary and middle school years and they become close friends. Their families, however, are friendly as well.
Days and weeks passed as Alice and Marcos became friends. Alice shows Marcos her magical skills and impresses him. During their years at high school in the kingdom, They have encounter a beautiful female dragon-horned and pony-eared lizard named Zoey. Marcos had a crush on her and Alice befriends Zoey, too. They told Zoey about Alice’s magical abilities and Zoey was stunned but glad.
As they graduated from school, Marcos had to stop going to school because he needs training to be king of the kingdom. Marcos made his goodbye to Alice and Zoey and he follows his royal family. By that, Alice still has Zoey and they still get along.
As years went by— now adults on this special day—  Alice and Zoey meet up with Marcos on the day he is going to be crowned as king. His parents offered to give Marcos a queen. Alice and Zoey were both pleased about it. But as Zoey was picked to be queen, Alice got a bit furious. She admitted that it has to be a mistake, but Marcos’s royal family replied that it is a requirement for their son. Alice suddenly feels ferocity and jealousy inside and SNAPS. She suddenly grabbed a sharp weapon and tossed it, but suddenly, it dug through Marcos’s father’s back. Zoey, Marcos, his family and his mother are horrified at what Alice had done. Alice was in tears, not realizing what she had done. Marcos’s family were furious with Alice and they shooed her away, causing the whole kingdom to attempt to expose her. But as Alice ran away, she meets with her family. She wanted to tell them something, but was upset by the looks on their faces. She saw only horror.
Marcos’s family caught Alice and they were furious with her for killing the king. The whole kingdom and Alice’s family are furious with her as well. Marcos’s mother commands that Alice is banished from the Spirit Animal Kingdom forever for the murder she has committed. Alice got enraged and she swore revenge to the kingdom. Her father scolds her to stay with the family or do the evil things of sorcery and madness she has committed. Alice couldn’t risk it and she chose to do sorcery, madness, and worst of all, REVENGE. Alice then runs away from the kingdom, never seen again. Her family burst in tears after seeing their daughter run away. Marcos and Zoey felt inconsolable that their childhood friend was banished, but it took time for them to get over it. Then, it was the day after the king’s funeral: Marcos and Zoey both got married and they became the new king and queen of the Spirit Animal Kingdom.
Time passed since Alice’s banishment. She was finding her ways in getting revenge on Marcos and Zoey for betraying her, but her mind is telling her something that could make Alice get back what she wanted and how to do that. With an idea, she puts on her caped hoodie, into making everyone assume that it wasn’t her. Alice believed that it will forever be a secret as she began sneaking into the kingdom without everyone knowing. As Alice caught sight of Marcos and Zoey holding a heir, she saw that it was a lizard-wolf princess named Sheila who is next to be queen. Alice menacingly grins and she goes into the laboratory of Luna the Ram— an old friend of Marcos and Zoey who was young and their adviser ever since the passing of Marcos and Zoey’s parents before Sheila was born— and begins her sorcery into making Marcos suffer. After creating the potion, Alice puts Zoey’s name and lays it on her throne, now leaving right away unnoticed. As she got far from the kingdom, she saw Zoey stumbling upon a potion, drinking it suddenly, but suddenly feeling a heartache, catching her family’s attention. Alice was full of pride during the time she saw Marcos, his daughter, Luna, and the whole kingdom surrounding Zoey’s grave after she died of a heart attack. Alice nearly felt her life complete, but then she unfortunately encounters a pack of African Wild Dogs. They were staring at her, not showing any signs of ferocity. The leader takes Alice in after having a look at her, and they took very good care of her. Alice was happy to have the African Wild Dogs care of her, but then she plans to become their leader, and they all treat her like a queen. After hiring the African Wild Dogs, Alice commands them to invade the Spirit Animal Kingdom to make Sheila suffer even more than Marcos. As the African Wild Dogs did so, causing Marcos to take Sheila to an orphanage as their separation, Alice was full of madness and LOTS of evil pride.
Many years go on and on as Alice was busy making her plans to now get rid of Marcos once and for all. Months also passed as the African Wild Dogs sent in visitors of a little alien with swirly glasses and a pink warthog to Alice. They told her that the two have escaped from jail after kidnapping Sheila. Overhearing Sheila, Alice gets extremely jealous that she and Marcos are both still alive. Alice then decided to hire Fawful and Midbus into action after hearing that Sheila was protected by their enemy— King Bowser Koopa, whom she was married to before reuninting with her father. Alice hatches a new plan and she creates sorcery in the lab area of her African Wild Dogs’ hideout’s lair, and created the power of shapeshifting. Alice tells her army and allies that shapeshifting will help her give what her traitors deserve by transforming into any form of Sheila or her friends, to make Marcos and Sheila both suffer so that she can be queen of the Spirit Animal Kingdom once again.
With their plan into action, Alice and her army started to invade the Spirit Animal Kingdom once again by enslaving everyone and trapping Marcos and his allies for them to suffer. With that, Alice became queen, but she is more than a tyrant. Midbus— looking forward to steal Marcos’s place as the new king— and Alice both had a close bond as her plan was complete. Fawful looks forward into being an adviser for Alice if she ever gets engaged with Midbus. While Alice hangs out with Midbus and Fawful, her African Wild Dog pack leader has arrived with the staff he invented and gave it to Alice, telling her that this staff was made to do magic of sorcery and some hidden secrets. Alice was pleased to hear it and she could use her staff in case her enemies get in the way.
Alice was alarmed by her army that Sheila has arrived to stop her, and she hides herself in her caped hoodie. Alice also performed sorcery to create the Dark Star, keeping it as a secret for Fawful, Midbus, and herself so that she could reveal her disguise when Sheila comes with her friends to save the Spirit Anormal Kingdom.
As Sheila arrived to her ransacked kingdom, she had her husband Bowser, her adviser-in-law Kamek, and her stepchildren— Junior and the Koopalings— alongside Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Toad, Donkey Kong, Yoshi, and especially her other friends who used to be bullies in the past until then— Fang the Tiger and Karen the Zebra— beside her. They saw everyone enslaved to the African Wild Dogs, but also Marcos and his allies trapped. They noticed a hidden person with Midbus and Fawful beside her— from what Sheila and her friends thought— and is revealed to be Alice after taking off her cape. Alice reveals to Sheila that everything was her doing— the murdering of Zoey, and the invasion of her kingdom— as part of her revenge on Marcos for not being queen. Sheila overhears and is even more furious than ever. Then, they all begin to fight— with Alice shapeshifting into Sheila or one of her friends to startle them and other stuff. But Sheila luckily gains help from her friends who are fighting Fawful, Midbus, and the African Wild Dog army.
As Alice and her army nearly lost to Sheila and their friends, she reveals to them the Dark Star that had been a secret between her, Fawful, and Midbus the whole time, and also part of Fawful and Midbus’s ultimate revenge after losing to Bowser for Sheila whom they kidnapped way before meeting Alice. Fawful and Midbus helped out by blasting the power of the Dark Star onto Alice’s tip of her staff. By that, Alice used the staff on herself, astonishing Fawful, Midbus, and the African Wild Dog army, who are armed to fight Sheila and her friends. But suddenly, the Dark Star gives Alice ALL the power of the stars and the other powerups in darkness, causing her to be a giant Koopa Queen, from what Sheila and her friends also thought. Alice then revealed her dark powers of shapeshifting and strength that can easily destroy everything, especially her dark colorful fire breath.
The whole Spirit Animal Kingdom started fearing Alice, but Sheila and her friends were aware of it. They were suddenly weakened soon after, but with the powerups alongside the stars thanks to the team Super Mario Bros., she alongside her Koopa Family were able to unite together with them and gain the bigger chance to defeat Alice. Alice’s defeat has astonished the whole world including the Spirit Animal Kingdom.
As Sheila and her gang— including Marcos who was relieved for his daughter—  turned normal, they saw Alice back in her normal form. Marcos was glad and he thanked Sheila’s friends and also her for saving the kingdom. But all of a sudden, Alice crawls from the destroyed bricks of the ceiling. She grabs her staff and was about to aim at Sheila. Bowser sees Alice about to blast Shelia with her staff and he was in panic, much to their friends’ confusions. Bowser alarms Sheila as he runs over to her. Sheila hears Bowser yell her name and then she was pushed away with a gasp. Bowser had shoved her out of the way once Alice swung her staff and BLASTED her dark magic, hitting him directly on his chest. Bowser was slammed to the column, slipped to the ground, unconscious. Marcos and Sheila are shocked to see Bowser in a critical condition. Kamek, Junior, and the Koopalings could not believe what they just saw. Eventually Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Yoshi, Toad, Donkey Kong, Fang, and Karen could not believe it as well. Alice— in shock— saw that she had hit Bowser and was in anger. Alice had to recharge her staff, but Sheila and her friends still used the stars and the powerups to defeat her again, then as it worked, Alice’s staff broke into pieces and she was in panic. Noticing that she’s being turned to stone, Alice yells to Marcos and Sheila that she will not end up like Zoey. After these words, Alice had been turned into stone.
Marcos and Sheila were both frustrated a little bit after hearing Alice mention Zoey. Sheila’s other friends felt the same way.
Her African Wild Dog army alongside Fawful and Midbus both see that Alice had turned into stone and they plead to Sheila and her friends for mercy. Marcos blames them for Alice’s betrayal, murder of his father and wife Zoey, and all the crimes she and her army committed to the Spirit Animal Kingdom. As of that, Marcos sentenced Fawful and Midbus to a long time in jail than last time with a massive punishment coming to them  alongside the African Wild Dogs. He also tells them that they will be put in maximum security to make sure they don’t escape, and he commands the guards to take them away and they did so.
Just before the Spirit Animal Kingdom was fixed and back to normal, Fawful and Midbus were both arrested once again and given a long prison sentence, and they were all awaiting for their punishment which will be worse. The African Wild Dogs also gained a prison sentence, but they were enslaved to keep the prison clean as their punishment.
After Bowser was healed by Sheila and her friends with a help from Marcos and her nanny, Luna, they placed Alice on the pillar since they have seen that she had met her ultimate defeat.
Marcos was upset that he had failed his childhood friend, but Sheila and her friends including Luna both comfort him, cheering him up.
Alice— now becoming a statue after being turned into stone— has met her fate once and for all.

Donkey Kong Junior is Cranky's Son and the father of Donkey Kong the Third
So in previous posts I've talked about how Donkey Kong Senior is the grandfather of Donkey Kong the Third providing all the information that shows this to be the case. I've also covered how Kong age rapidly in one post with several examples, and in another post I talked about why applying real world gorilla aging doesn't work in the Mario series.
So from here anyone should easily be able to conclude that Donkey Kong Junior is the father of Donkey Kong the Third. As stated in game and in the manual for Donkey Kong Junior on pages 2 and 5, he is the son of Cranky Kong.
This is also further confirmed by a Nintendo Online Magazine description for DK Jr. This is a basic Google Translation but it is accurate. "He is the son of the original Donkey Kong."
Since we know Kongs age rapidly it explains how we have been able to get so many Kongs in such a short amount of time. Not to mention in a previous post I pointed out how we have actual seen an adult Donkey Kong Junior in one game, and possible another game as I talked about in another post.
However, some people don't think this is the case. So people create an entirely new Kong from scratch as Cranky's second son who has never been mentioned anywhere. Which I shouldn't have to explain how Occam's razor applies here.
But then there is some other people who claim Donkey Kong the Third is the son of Cranky Kong, and that DK Jr. was retconned to have never existed. They do this by trying to decanonize various games or outright ignore several things in these games. For starters Donkey Kong Jr. is often established to be canon in addition to Donkey Kong 94 heavily using Donkey Kong Junior in gameplay, cutscenes, and the picture at the end of the game. You also have Donkey Kong Junior showing up in Super Mario Kart, which I have pointed out are canon in various previous posts. Also, there is Mario's Tennis.
Now some people claim the Movie retconned the games entirely and are canon to the games, which is just wrong. But back on track some people claim the movie having Donkey Kong the Third be Cranky's son is them retconning everything related to Donkey Kong, that they are fixing the Mario timeline and Nintendo is telling us this. This just has no basis, and the people saying this usually are trying to use this to make the games fit into their own timelines and hypotheses that contradict the games. In addition the movie probably only made Donkey Kong Cranky's son to give Mario and Donkey Kong something to relate to each other over.
The finale thing that is brought up is the manual for Donkey Kong 64 and a line from Cranky in this game. This and manual bit have Donkey Kong referred to as Cranky's Son. This is an error and should say grandson. With even Gregg Mayles clearing things up in 2017 that this was a mistake, and Donkey Kong the Third was always Cranky's grandson. In addition he makes a remark about Cranky possibly being senile and not remembering.
Regardless aside from this one blunder in DK64 that was later cleared up, every other game and manual that brings this topic up before and after DK64 always calls Cranky the grandfather, and Donkey Kong the grandson. There is one more claim people make and that's Donkey Kong the Third is actually Donkey Kong Junior grown up. To that I have to point you in the direction of everything I have brought up in this post to show why this is simply not the case.

Also, on Sunday, I pre-ordered a Nintega Dario die-cut sticker, and it will come to me next week (maybe in the same week, when I get my copy of Mario vs. Donkey Kong on the Nintendo Switch, as it will be released on February 16th before my order arrives). 2nd indie entertainment content creator merchandise I'm getting soon, after I got one from SML (then known at that time as SuperMarioLogan until 2021, at SML Merch online) back in 2018 (when Logan and Lance launched their online store), as I got the Jeffy die-cut sticker there. I might plan to get the Woody and Daffy die-cut as well before I go on vacation this year in late-May and early-June (I'll tell you soon). Yes, if you're not familar with Nintega Dario, or his real name, Nicolas Granola, he's an Italian-American Christian young adult person longtime fan of VeggieTales, Chuck E. Cheese, and the Japanese-based Nintendo, and video games, based in the Charlotte, NC, and he's been popular all over the internet with people who grew up watching VeggieTales, and Chuck E. Cheese (like me here) back in the early 1990s-2000s. Dario also loved and has seen my original content (sometimes he sees my stories on Instagram, that is not related to him, VeggieTales, Chuck E. Cheese, or Nintendo content). He was born in 1998 (and I'm nearly a year younger than him, as I was born in 1999), Dario has great relationships with me, and Matt Rivera (a longtime Chuck E. Cheese fan) of Matt the Franchize.
Yes, Nintega Dario, Daniel Matamoros Jr. of ThePopCultureDude and Woody and Daffy Duck, and SML would or might not be unaware of, familiar, and unsanctioned with SAG-AFTRA and IATSE, as they're non-union indie entertainment creators, and yes, you have to pay money to be a member in these unions. This is for people as indie entertainment creators on what they want to do for their careers, and it's their choice if they want to be a member and unionized working in the entertainment industry (mainly based in the Los Angeles, CA area), or not be unionized. As me, Ethan Gaden of Ethan Cross Media, might be the only one who is familiar with a lot of entertainment unions like SAG-AFTRA and IATSE, as the voice actors, entertainment, and cartoon creators are in both unions. If you're in Canada, you're probably with ACTRA (Canadian entertainment union, similar to the American-based, SAG-AFTRA, due to me, Nintega Dario, Daniel Matamoros Jr. of ThePopCultureDude and Woody and Daffy Duck, and SML residing in the U.S., and you can't hire American voice actors for Canadian cartoons due to Canadian entertainment labor laws).

idk if my opinion is prevalent or distinct enough to warrant including, so i just approximated to "other".
i don't think it really matters? not in a "i think theorizing is dumb so people shouldnt do it way" but more like, mario canon is already so loose and varied between games. mario's portrayal itself barely has any ages more specific than "baby" or "adult" (which itself seems to be anywhere from 20ish to 40ish). tbh even the distinction between old DK (cranky) and young DK (country protag) feels like it's barely acknowledged outside DKC-adjacent games? like donkey kong gba feels like a weird in-between step where he was still shaped like 1981 DK, but he'd now gotten the tie and the people who he was hanging around were definitely called mario and pauline. idk maybe this is too rambly for a reply to a simple poll but. what would it even mean for DK1 mario to be "not the same mario" as every other mario? in the game itself he behaves about the same as the "usual" mario (tbf that's not saying much). ig you could say his behavior in Jr. is weird and inconsistent with "usual" mario, but that also applies between him and DK1 mario/jumpman.
tl;dr it doesnt seem like they ever intended to make there be more than one different guy who is mario, and any way i can think of to prove this question one way or another seems to rely on stuff that the mario series' canon doesn't care much about keeping consistent?

The Great Gingerbread Phantom
(Donkey Kong marches through a pristine-looking building, the walls colored white, pink and red, while carrying a thin looking man with a bag on his head over his shoulder. DK pushes open a large set of double doors, revealing Peach sitting patiently at a fancy-looking desk. Ken and Daisy are standing on both sides of her, Ken with his arms crossed and Daisy brandishing a Home Run Bat. Both are clad in formal business wear. DK roughly drops the figure he’s carrying into a chair in front of Peach’s desk. Peach looks over to Ken and gestures towards the man. Ken walks over and removes the bag… revealing none other than Joker, slightly bruised but barely exhausted. He glances around the room for a second before turning to Peach and smirking.)
Joker: …Sup?
Peach: Good evening, Joker. Or may I call you Ren?
Joker: Well, you already abducted me, so I think politeness is out the window.
Peach: (chuckles darkly) They didn’t tell me you’d be funny. I guess the name makes sense now. But you’re right. I think we should skip the formalities and get right down to business. (she reaches into her desk and pulls out a folder. She pulls a picture out of the folder and shows it to Joker) Do you know what this is?
Joker: Umm… that appears to be a gingerbread house. The kind you’d make around Christmas.
Peach: Yes. It's my gingerbread house. A fixture of the Mansion Christmas party since Melee. Far exceeding any ordinary centerpiece, it is a fully sized structure, getting bigger and bigger each year, with every detail lovingly crafted by yours truly, with the finest ingredients gathered by Toads from across the Mushroom Kingdom. And with flavor that has become infamous… and that has made it a prime target for thieves such as yourself.
(she pulls several more photos. This one shows pseudo-mugshots of several of the kid Smashers prior to grounding, including Mega Man, Bowser Jr., Toon Link, Sonic, and Villager)
Peach: You see, the children’s access to this gingerbread is highly restricted. They’re enough of a handful without extreme amounts of sugar in their systems. So every year, I would keep the gingerbread under extremely heavy surveillance, and the offenders would be strictly punished to discourage further misbehavior. And for a while, it worked. Not a single team, no matter how coordinated, could steal the gingerbread… until three years ago.
(She grabs the rest of the photos and slams them down on the desk. They show several knocked out adult Smashers, including DK, Dark Samus, ROB, and Bowser, and a single empty photo with a crude outline of a house drawn on it)
Peach: It was my most intricate creation yet. Days, weeks, months of work down the drain. Not one of my guards can tell me what happened. As you can imagine, I was quite angry. This happened in 2018. Now tell me, Mr. Ren… do you think it’s a coincidence that the first successful gingerbread heist in Smash history happened the same year that you, an infamous Phantom Thief, moved into the mansion?
Joker: Oh, that’s why I’m here? Because I heard the League of Villains did that.
Peach: (chuckles) It’s funny you should mention that, because I confronted Wario over it, and he claimed that he had no knowledge of this heist.
Joker: Maybe he was lying.
(Peach stares at him for a second… and then starts laughing. After a couple seconds, Daisy, Ken and DK join in. Everyone in the room except Joker continues laughing… until Peach stands up, snatches the bat from Daisy’s hand, and slams it on her desk. The pictures scatter. The room goes quiet.)
Peach: I’m not an idiot, Ren. I had Mewtwo read his mind. He found no traces of anything related to gingerbread. (she moves from behind the desk and stands directly in front of Joker, close enough that he could feel her breath) I’m just gonna drop the bullshit right here, okay. I know what you did. And I hate being lied to. Almost as much as I hate punishing the kids. But someone has to keep order, or else things like this would happen everyday.
Joker: Yeah, real responsible of you to do that, but I’ve got a question. (he adjusts his glasses, casually revealing that he slipped out of the ropes on his hands in the process) Let’s just say, hypothetically, that I did do that thing three years ago. What would you do about it? One, it was three years ago, and you’d look like a fool accusing me without clear evidence. Two, I don’t live in the Mansion. I live with my mother and Ganondorf, completely out of your jurisdiction. How would you punish me?
Peach: …I literally just had Donkey Kong beat you up and drag you over here.
Joker: …Fair point. So, are we done here? Or did you have more in mind for me than this whole “scare em straight” thing?
Peach: Oh no… we have much more to discuss. We also know that you didn’t do it alone. Now, we know that you won’t give up your accomplices, but we have an alternative proposal in mind… we believe that they’re plotting to steal it again this year.
Joker: …It’s March. They’re planning the heist ten months in advance?
Peach: …Show him. (Daisy puts down a blueprint for an absolutely massive gingerbread house. Joker studies the document intensely) Beautiful, isn’t it? The first one I’ve made since that dreadful night. It’s at least half the size of my very own castle. So large that it requires ten months of construction just to have it ready for the holidays. It should be impossible to steal, but we also said that about the last one.
Joker: So, what? You want me to infiltrate the heist crew and rat them out? Because if you knew me, you’d know that that’s not happening.
Peach: No, Mr. Ren… (Ken hands her a suitcase. Peach opens it to reveal several stacks of cash, and a large bag of gingerbread) I want you to steal it again.

Cranky Kong of Donkey Kong series fame is heavily implied in multiple games to be Donkey Kong from the classic 1981 arcade title of the same name, yet as far as we know, Mario (known as simply Jumpman at the time) has remained the same throughout the years. However, I speculate that Jumpman was actually Mario & Luigi's father, who has most likely passed away before the now dubbed Cranky Kong, and Mario & Luigi are working hard to improve relations with the Kong family given their checkered past. Mario, bearing an uncanny resemblance to his father, tries his best to keep the family name clear of any ridicule, especially considering he's, more often than not, forced to deal with blame directed at his father for his past actions, given his appearance. You may think that Mario is still hostile towards the current generation Donkey Kong, known in the 80s as Donkey Kong Jr., however Jr. is still dealing with his emotions of a bygone era from Donkey Kong Jr., a 1982 arcade game in which Mario's father repeatedly captures a young Cranky, similar and no better to how young Cranky would kidnap Mario Senior's love interest Pauline. While Mario continues to try his best to improve relations, unfortunate circumstances mean that on the occasion, violence is the only answer, as seen in the 2004 title Mario vs. Donkey Kong, where Mario repeatedly defeats an adult Donkey Kong Jr. in response to his barbaric acts of terrorism, including stealing Mario's entire inventory of Mini-Mario figures and withholding them behind treacherous obstacles that Mario must traverse if he wants to rescue his toy-line. This was not a means to a beneficial finance for Mario exclusively, however, as the sequel game, subtitled March of the Minis, included Donkey Kong figures as well. Junior unfortunately sees this only as a taunt in his direction, as he continues to not only steal the Minis, but return to kidnapping Mario's friend Pauline as well, as if a form of poetic justice given the similar premise of the 1981 title. Mario repeatedly attempts to teach Junior that his violent acts are no means to satisfaction, and he should instead work to forgive the actions of the generation before him, as he was not the root cause, nor is in support of such actions. Despite Mario inviting him to parties, kart racing, and other sports, perhaps it is Cranky behind the scenes, still egging Junior on to get he perfect revenge against the Mario family. This is the ultimate conflict the two families must face. Mario was lucky enough to have the opportunity to raise his younger brother, Luigi, safely out of his father's image. Perhaps the color swap on Mario's shirt and overalls is indicative of his goal of turning over a new leaf for the family, and Luigi's contrast to those colors representing how Mario is hoping that Luigi will carry on the family legacy when Mario no longer can, in a brand new light, never seen before. Luigi has definitely already begun a legacy of his own, some preferring him over Mario. Perhaps this is for the best, so Luigi may walk his own path in life, free of the weight of his family's sins.
