A Widespread Microsoft Outage Disrupted Flights, Banks, Media Outlets And Companies Around The World On Friday And Highlighted Dependence On Software From A Handful Of Providers – New York City reporting
The issue affected Microsoft 365 apps and services, and escalating disruptions continued hours after the technology company said it was gradually fixing it.
Microsoft 365 posted on X that the company was “working on rerouting the impacted traffic to alternate systems to alleviate impact in a more expedient fashion” and that they were “observing a positive trend in service availability.”
Major disruptions reported by airlines and airports grew. Flight tracking website Flightaware reports more nearly 1,000 flights canceled and over 12,000 more are delayed. Chicago O'Hare, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta, Newark , La Guardia and Boston Logan International Airport lead Flightaware's "misery map" with the most delays and cancellations.
In the U.S., the FAA said the airlines United, Delta and Allegiant had all been grounded. American Airlines lifted its ground stop just after 5 a.m ET, saying they were able to "safely re-establish operations."
An earlier ground stop for Frontier Airlines was lifted just after midnight, and the carrier said they had resumed normal operations, for now.
Travelers at Los Angeles International Airport slept on a jetway floor, using backpacks and other luggage for pillows, due to a delayed United flight to Dulles International Airport early on Friday.
Across the pond, Edinburgh Airport said the system outage meant waiting times were longer than usual. London’s Stansted Airport said some airline check-in services were being completed manually, but flights were still operating.
The budget airline Ryanair said they are "experiencing disruption across the network due to a global third party IT outage which is out of our control. We advise all passengers to arrive at the airport at least three hours before their scheduled departure time.”
Widespread problems were reported at Australian airports, where lines grew and some passengers were stranded as online check-in services and self-service booths were disabled. Passengers in Melbourne queued for more than an hour to check in, although flights were still operating. Airlines Virgin Australia and Qantas were severely affected by the outage.
News outlets in Australia — including the ABC and Sky News — were unable to broadcast on their TV and radio channels, and reported sudden shutdowns of Windows-based computers. Some news anchors broadcast live online from dark offices, in front of computers showing “blue screens of death.” Telecommunications providers, banks and media broadcasters were also disrupted as they lost access to computer systems. Outages reported on the site DownDetector included the banks NAB, Commonwealth and Bendigo, as well as internet and phone providers such as Telstra. The New Zealand banks ASB and Kiwibank said their services were down.
Television stations in the United Kingdom were being disrupted by the computer issues.
Hospitals in Britain and Germany also reported problems.
Israel’s Cyber Directorate said that it was among the places affected by the global outages, attributing them to a problem with the cybersecurity platform Crowdstrike. The outage also hit the country’s post offices and hospitals, according to the ministries of communication and health.
In South Africa, at least one major bank said it was experiencing “nationwide service disruptions” as customers reported they were unable to make payments using their bank cards at grocery stores and gas stations.
Numerous European airlines are using manual check-in.

In The Orchestra Of God
MEMORY VERSE OF THE WEEK
=========================
+ Romans 6:2 By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer
=========================
VERSE OF THE DAY
========================
+ Psalm 127:1 Unless the Lord builds a house,the work of the builders is wasted.
Unless the Lord protects a city, guarding it with sentries will do no good.
‭‭=========================
** SAY THIS BEFORE YOU READ; HERE’S SOME CHRISTIAN TRUTHS **
I AM NO GOOD WITHOUT GOD
I AM HIS
I AM FOCUSED
I AM HIS INSTRUMENT
********************************
THOUGHTS:
=======================
   We can start any task we want, I mean anything; we can build a computer from scrapes or a car, we can run for mayor or president, we can go to school and get any degree, start a business with our own two hands, we can do anything we place our mind on, but at the end of the day, the Lord is telling us through this verse
IF HE DIDN’T build it , IF IT WASN’T started with him,IF IT WASN’T in his will IT. IS. A. waste of time, because whether we believe this is or not that everything must be done in the will of God, not ours, God gives us free will to do what we like, when we like , but we must do what his will is for our life ,so before we do anything we must do two things . Seek his will and give him credit for EVERYTHING.
We have to understand that God wants to be part of our lives every day; he wants to be included in our plans; he wants us to talk to him every day; he wants us to place nothing before him, and he wants us to love him and mediate on his word day and night.
   The next part of this verse says that unless the lord protects a city by guarding it with sentries, what sentries mean soldiers, so unless the city is protected with and by God placing guards near the entrance or in the city is no good it won't help, we can build whatever we want to block anything anyone out of a city. We can put any ADT security system on every house or Ring Door Bell;if God isn't who we say protects our house, it won't happen because God's strength is what keeps us and protect us from things seen and unseen.
  " 1 Corinthians 3:7 So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth."
   It tells us here that we can get the best pastors and teachers to plant a seed of understanding; we can even have one of those pastors to water it, but it doesn't matter at all because God grows it; God is in control of everything and the moment we get this we will totally understand that our life isn't our own, as much as Paul had other plans to go kill a bunch of folks ,Jesus said no, he was immediately stopped and turned around, God controls everything even when Abraham gave his wife to Abimelek God blocked it and told Abimelek no you can't do this, see even if we say yes. God says no; it will always be left up to God. Now, sometimes, God will let us do whatever we like so we can see that he's in control.  We discussed on Sunday in the devotional Avoiding Bitter Fruit that God is in control, and we must follow.
 •Psalm 115: 3 Our God is in the heavens; he does all that he pleases.
•Isaiah 14:24 The Lord of hosts has sworn: “As I have planned, so shall it be, and as I have purposed, so shall it stand,
•Job 12:10 In his hand is the life of every living thing and the breath of all mankind.
  God is in control of everything; we can try to go against this, but the Holy Spirit wants us to understand that in this through our devotionals this week that, our lives belong to God on high, everything that has breath must surrender to him alone, and that whatever you're doing in your life if you think that you're controlling it your not we must render whatever control we have and give it unto God now.
  Isaish 55:8-9 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD.  “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
  We will never understand God; he will give us fragments for us to know him, but our thoughts will never be his thoughts, our ways will never be his ways, and we will always be outside of everything, wondering about his mystery and glory and the reason being for us to continue to seek him if we know everything we will have no reason to seek him. Still, as long as we are curious and engaging and reading and talking to him, we will always wonder and need more and more.
***Today seek God give him praise , give him everything your suppose to render unto him because in today’s devotional as we can see that it means nothing until we give ourselves to him, we aren’t protected through our hands but his , we aren’t alive because of our body it’s because he says so , we are given opportunities each time to give God praise to give everything unto him honor , but it’s up to us to do it .
A lot of times we will forget because we like to get pats on the back but really and truly we aren’t due any praise we are just instruments in his orchestra and until we realize that we will always lack, give God credit in everything , and hear him when he speaks to you ! ©Seer~ Prophetess Lee
========================
PRAYER
========================
Heavenly Father we come to you today asking that you forgive us of any sins we have done . Help us to apply this lesson to our lives ! Lord we are sorry if we said that we are in control when we aren’t , we render control to you right now . Lord we also ask that you be with us and help us to hear your voice . Help us to stop when you say stop , help us to speak when you say speak help us to not just do it one day but every day help us to be a living sacrifice for you , use us father God ! Help us to seek you with our whole heart and not parts , lord we love you and need you in Jesus Name Amen

Long before ADT or any other home security system became a fixture in American households, a Black nurse named Mary Van Brittan Brown helped construct an early security monitoring device for her own home during the turbulent 1960s. She spent many nights at home alone in Queens, New York, while her husband was away at work, and felt unsafe with crime rising in the neighborhood. Even more troubling, the police were often unreliable and unresponsive to calls for help in the Black community. Feeling too vulnerable, she came up with her own action plan that would help to put her mind at ease. In 1966, Brown invented a system that used cameras small enough to peer through four peepholes in her front door. The feed from the cameras would then appear on a television screen inside her home so she could surveil any potential problems outside. She soon added other features, including an intercom through which she could speak to anyone without opening the door. She also installed a button that could unlock the door and a distress signal capable of contacting authorities. She and her husband applied for a patent on the system that same year and were awarded the rights three years later in 1969. Modern home security systems have since borrowed various elements from her original design. I bullshit you not.

The thing that stuck out to me about this house is that she's manually installing those cheap, temporary door-stop alarms. Why doesn't she have a remote-monitoring home security system with door and window alarms, motion sensors, and cameras? She doesn't have glass-break alarms. She doesn't mention smoke detectors. She's got the inexpensive Wyze cameras that don't integrate with anything else. Her setup relies on her as a single point of failure.
Remote monitoring means that if you're incapacitated, the alarm company gets the alarm and can call 911 for you. Sure, it's pricey ($$/mo), but if she's paranoid enough to install shim locks on the doors, surely she's willing to shell out however much is charged by ADT or Vivint or SimpliSafe or Abode or Cove or whomever.
This video could be one half of an advertisement. Put on a TikTok duet where this video runs in contrast with someone who waves goodbye to her husband, presses the "Arm Stay" button on the panel, and then goes about the rest of her day with a smile on her face and warm background lighting.
