Abigail Anderson. Pre-med student. Rugby star. A brief hook-up from freshman year.Â
And now approaching your frozen figure at a rather fast pace.Â
As your shocked face emerges from behind the football you're still holding in your hands, Abby begins to register who it was that sheâd almost killed via pigskin.Â
âOh, shit!â She murmurs your name as her jog comes to a stop at your feet. âIâm so sorry, my friend Jordan was being a dick. I meant to catch that.âÂ
You let out a nervous chuckle as your trembling fingers lift the football up to her.Â
âOh, itâs okay. My life definitely flashed before my eyes, but Iâm alright otherwise.â You give her a smile.Â
She returns it with a crooked one of her own, her fingers softly brushing against yours as she takes the football from you.Â
âWell, you still look alive and pretty,â Abby says, tucking the ball underneath an arm. âAnd those were some impressive reflexes, I gotta say.âÂ
âJust practicing in case of a zombie apocalypse.â You joke, cheeks burning ever so slightly at her calling you pretty. âWe canât all be built like Themysciran Amazons the way you are.âÂ
âThemy-what?â Abby asks, eyebrows furrowing in confusion and chuckling.Â
Your face erupts in flames in embarrassment from your geeky comic book reference.Â
âY-you know,â You stammer. âLike Wonder Woman. Sheâs from that island where itâs only women and theyâre all these gorgeous, buff warriors whoâve renounced men.âÂ
Abby laugh.Â
âReally? Well, thank you. Youâre very cute for thinking Iâm some hot warrior chick whoâll survive a zombie apocalypse.âÂ
Before you can respond, she continues.Â
âHowâve you been? I havenât seen you around much.âÂ
âHey, Iâve been around.â You lie. You really havenât been. âProbably havenât noticed being an aspiring doctor and all.âÂ
âStill remember that, huh?â She smiles.Â
âOf course.â You say, returning her smile.Â
Freshman Year, Fall
You met Abby Anderson at the beginning of your freshman year when she was a sophomore.Â
Being in a new and independent environment, you did what many single freshmen do upon first arriving: scoured the dating apps.Â
Fresh out of a messy high school relationship, you came to college a little raw and emotionally vulnerable. You jumped into a casual relationship with a girl named Adriana within the first month of arriving on campus. After a drunken night of you and your roommate Tara recklessly swiping through your profile on a dating app, you somehow and hesitantly found yourself with a girlfriend after just two dates.Â
The best word you would use to describe Adriana was nice. She was a pleasant person: brought you out on cute dates, paid for your food, always held your hand. You spent the two weeks of dating her trying to convince yourself that you were as into her as she was into you. But the further you tried to force attraction for her, the less interested you became. Then she introduced you to her friend, Abby Anderson.Â
Abby was the kind of person that closeted gay girls would develop their first gay crush on at their initial glance. She was bold and exuded a sense of confidence & charisma that most 20-somethings havenât achieved yet. People knew who she was when she walked around campus, whether personally or through reputation. Abby made friends quickly and kept them easily, so it was no shock that you got along very well with her when Adriana first introduced you.Â
You pretended at the time not to notice the way Abby looked you up and down when first laying eyes on you. It was a quick glance and she pulled it off well enough that nobody else but you had caught it. You were amused by the way that Abby had held out her hand to you upon meeting. None of Adrianaâs other friends had offered a handshake, and you chuckled quietly as you introduced yourself to her.Â
Is she for real? A little prim and proper, youâd thought. Youâd later find out it was merely her excuse to initiate physical contact.Â
Youâd originally come over to Adrianaâs dorm to meet her friends, but youâd spent most of the time talking with Abby. She was very charming, keeping you engaged in conversation as if sheâd known you for months already. She would ask you questions about yourself, seeming to be genuinely interested in your responses. It was effortless to keep up a banter with her, and she had you laughing in a way Adriana hadnât been able to elicit from you herself. You werenât fawning over Abby the way newly-discovered gays constantly were, but you were intrigued. By the end of the hang-out, youâd already exchanged numbers and socials.Â
When Adriana amicably broke up with you a week later, saying that she felt as if âyour heart didnât seem quite into thisâ and âsheâd like to see you comfortableâ and âwe honestly seem like we would vibe better as friendsâ over a phone call, youâd felt a wave of relief followed by a pang of guilt. You could tell that Adriana really didnât feel any ill will towards you, but it did feel indecent that all you got out of the relationship was a mended heart as a result of the rebound. That, and a very interested Abby Anderson.Â
It didnât take a week since your split from Adriana that Abby was flirtatiously commenting under your Instagram posts or sending you at least ten snaps on Snapchat daily or messaging you borderline thirst traps accompanied by texts that were asking for your âopinion on her gym progress.â It was a mere five days since the break-up that you were dolling yourself up a bit to go hang out with Abby in her dorm room, just the two of you.Â
Most of your friends playfully teased you about the position youâd placed yourself in. Hooking up with a recent exâs friend seemed messy, but they encouraged you to put yourself out there all the same. Never having actually gone all the way with Adriana, they all hyped you up to hook up with Abby. All but one.Â
âYouâre judging me!â You said, lightly smacking Ellieâs arm.Â
She chuckled, rolling her eyes at you.Â
âI literally didnât say anything, dude.âÂ
âUh-huh, sure.â You returned her eye roll with your own before jumping off your bed to walk towards your closet.Â
âJust sounds like a guilty conscience to me.â She shrugged, leaning back onto your headboard.Â
You sighed and said, âShould I feel guilty, though?âÂ
Ellie shrugged again nonchalantly before saying, âNot gonna tell you how to feel.âÂ
âI just want to know your opinion!âÂ
âItâs your love life, dude. Itâs up to you, not me.âÂ
âI know that! But what do you think I should do?âÂ
âMake your own decisions.â She chuckled once more.Â
You groaned, turning away from her to continue rifling through your closet.Â
âYouâre so fucking useless.â You complained, fingers weaving between hangers as you tried to select an outfit to see Abby later that day.Â
âWhat can I say? Itâs a gift.â Ellie replied, resting the palms of her hands on the back of her head as she watched you.Â
Despite yourself, you giggled quietly. As you continued to browse through your wardrobe, you felt Ellieâs ocean green eyes trailing your every movement. You kept your back turned to her, hiding the flames tickling your cheeks. Â
You hadnât bothered the rest of your friends about this the way you did Ellie. Theyâd all given their blessing for you to sleep with Abby, but Ellie? Ellie was persistent in remaining mysteriously neutral. She refused to voice any kind of personal bias. She didnât seem disinterested, but she also withheld offering up her genuine opinion on your Abby situation. And for some reason, this bothered you. Something about her unhelpfulness compelled you to pester her about it. You knew you didnât need Ellieâs approval. So why did it feel like you did? Â
Ellie watched as you picked out a short dark blue dress, spreading it out on your bed next to her. She listened to you question yourself out loud on whether you should wear fishnet stockings underneath it or just go bare. She felt the way your fingers lingered when brushing softly against hers after she handed you your silver hoop earrings laying next to her on your bedside table. She inhaled your signature lavender scent as you slowly caressed your arms and legs up and down while applying your favourite lotion.
It felt so strange, prettying yourself up for another girl while Ellie sat on your bed and watched. She and you were just friends. Youâve never been anything more than that. Why did it feel strange, then?Â
Are we though? Just friends?Â
The way youâd stare at the way her big, calloused hands moved when sheâd be rolling a joint or etching in her journal. The way she observed the exact manner your lips moved every time you spoke or laughed. The way you always noticed when sheâd trace that intricate arm tattoo of hers when sheâd get lost in thought. The way she watched exactly how your smile would often meet your soft eyes.Â
Is this just friendship?
Ellie observed as you sat at your desk and carefully began applying your makeup, scooting towards the foot of your bed to better marvel at your technique. Sheâd begun to learn the routine you had by heart, mesmerized by how carefully and naturally your hands moved in a creative dance. She blurted out a compliment about how you were an artist for the way you did your makeup. You attempted to brush it off, but she insisted. Youâre the artist here, sheâd said.Â
After finishing applying a shade of dark red lipstick, you gave yourself one last satisfied look in your mirror. You got up and began to shake your hair out of the bun it was in, walking to the foot of your bed where both your dress and Ellie waited. You looked at your chosen attire for the night and were suddenly hit with a predicament.Â
âUmm, Ellie?âÂ
âWhatâs up, man?âÂ
âD-do you think you could help me with something?âÂ
âUh⊠sure?âÂ
Your fingers fiddled with the bottom of your t-shirt. Your face flushed for what felt like the millionth time today.Â
âC-can you help me put my dress on?âÂ
Ellie looked like someone dumped a bucket of ice-cold water right over her head.Â
âWhat?âÂ
You scratched the back of your neck, a habit youâd picked up from her.Â
âI forgot how t-tight this dress is, and I might fuck up my makeup if I just pull it on myself. Can you help me g-get it on?âÂ
Ellieâs face remained unreadable as she looked you up and down.Â
âYeah, okay.â She said finally.Â
âT-thanks.â You said, nervously biting the inside of your cheek.Â
Normal friends do not get nervous when they ask their friends to help them get dressed.Â
âJustâŠjust one second.â You said, meekly holding a finger up before turning your back to her.Â
As you profusely thanked past you for already putting on your desired underwear for tonight, you carefully peeled off your t-shirt and threw it to the side. Though you had your back to her, you could feel Ellieâs gaze land on the black lace bra youâd decided on earlier. When you shed your pajama shorts, her eyes then drifted onto the matching black lace panties that left very little to the imagination.Â
She quickly averted her stare as you turned to face her, not fully meeting each otherâs eyes.Â
âDo you think you couldâ?â You gestured to your dress next to her on the bed.Â
âYeah.â She said, picking it up before approaching you.Â
You watched her face as she lifted the dress above your head. Her tense fingers gripped the collar tightly as you raised your arms. You felt goosebumps form where her hands inadvertently brushed against your skin, lowering the dress onto your figure. As you fit your head and arms through, she pulled the dress all the way down to your thighs. You tugged your hair out from the collar and let it fall behind you when your eyes met hers.Â
âUhh,â She said awkwardly. âYour lipstickâŠâÂ
Your right hand flew up to your mouth.Â
âOh shit, did it smudgeâ?âÂ
âYeah, a little, but itâs okay, I got it.âÂ
âWhââÂ
Before you could react any further, Ellie licked her thumb and brought it to the edge of your bottom lip. It was as though your entire body was set on fire the exact second that you felt the wetness from her finger meet the corner of your mouth. Her eyebrows furrowed as she rubbed off the small streaks of smeared lipstick. You could have sworn she could hear how loud your heart was beating in the moment, feel the way it echoed through your entire body. You felt your mouth water as your eyes fell on her tongue sticking out slightly in concentration. Someone could easily sneak into your room right now and rob you blind, the way you both remained completely encaptured in this moment.Â
âThere,â Ellie whispered. âGot it.âÂ
Her thumb slowly drifted from your lip to your cheek, her hand suddenly caressing your face. You were frozen in place, trying not to combust as every cell in your body danced fervently. Her ocean green irises kept darting back and forth between your eyes and your crimson lips. Both your mouths were parted, the unsaid at the tip of both your tongues, waiting for whoever was bravest to let the truth drip out.Â
But instead, after what felt like twenty-five years, Ellie let her hand drop from your face back to her side. She swallowed and cleared her throat, breaking eye contact with you to stare at the floor. You blinked and gulped, quickly plummeting back to reality.Â
âTh-thanks, El.âÂ
âNo problem, bro.âÂ
âBro.â Ugh. Okay, Ellie.Â
You were far less clothed a minute ago, and yet somehow you now were feeling much more naked than ever before.Â
âI-I think I left the shoes I want across the hall in Sidneyâs room. Give me a sec?âÂ
âYeah, man. Go ahead.âÂ
You nodded and retreated quickly out the door. As you shut it behind you, you leaned against it and clutched at your chest with both hands.Â
Oh god, fuck. Fuck, fuck, fuck. What the fuck. What just happened? What the fuck. Fuck.Â
Inside your room and unbeknownst to you, Ellie was leaning against her side of the door, quietly cursing to herself.Â
âDid I really just fucking do that? What the fuck, oh my fucking god. God damn it. Fuck, fuck, fuck.âÂ
âHey, are you okay?âÂ
You blinked.Â
âYes! Sorry, just spaced out for a second.âÂ
You adjusted yourself under the covers to turn more towards Abby. Your previously glassy eyes met her concerned ones.Â
âWas it that bad?â She joked.Â
âNo, oh my god, Abby,â You giggled, covering your face with your hands. âI think you getting me to cum twice in less than a minute speaks for itself.âÂ
Abby smirked.Â
âOnly twice? Wanna add a couple more to that?â She said, propping herself up on her elbow to look at you better.Â
âI think my pussy needs a sec before you make her see heaven again.â You replied.Â
âMmm,â was all Abby said in reply, drinking in your naked figure in her bed.Â
The rest of the evening seemed surreal. Ellie had watched you finish getting ready, remaining mostly quiet for the rest of the time. She didnât touch you again, almost as if she was afraid to. Sheâd walked you partway to Abbyâs building before giving the excuse that she had some client she needed to meet. Her signature Converse stormed off without a second glance back at you. As you waved her off, you thought about how she didnât have anything on her to sell, and you both knew it.Â
Throughout the entire night with Abby, though you allowed yourself to unwind and have some fun for once, your thoughts still continued to dance back incessantly to your auburn-haired friend.Â
âWhatâs on your mind, pretty girl?â Abby asked.Â
âJust taking a minute and being impressed by you.âÂ
Abby laughed.Â
âSo not that bad, huh?â She joked. âBut really. Whatâs up?âÂ
You pursed your lips. You liked Abby, but she did not need to know all about this âfriendshipâ of yours with Ellie.Â
âNot gonna lie,â You said, quickly coming up with a lie. âI was feeling really guilty before coming here tonight. Just cause Adrianaâs your friend and we just broke up.âÂ
It wasnât completely far from the truth. You were feeling guilty about seeing Abby after Adriana. But she wasnât the lesbian who you couldnât get out of your head all night.Â
âMm, that does make sense.â Abby replied, understanding. âItâs true, though. What I said earlier. Adriana did say it was okay.âÂ
Sometime after youâd arrived at Abbyâs dorm and before youâd both dropped the pretense of you coming over just to âhang out,â Abby disclosed that sheâd asked for Adrianaâs permission to fool around with you already. You were a bit surprised, but pleasantly so. You did come here tonight with specific intentions, but it did relieve you to know that Adriana meant it when sheâd expressed no ill will towards you. And it kindled a warmth in you that Abbyâd gone into this prepared and still with the respect of her friend.Â
âNo, I know,â You said, the crease between your eyebrows crinkling as you thought up a quick lie. âI just⊠I still like Adriana as a person and I didnât want my wandering vagina to get in the way of your friendship with her.âÂ
Abby suddenly guffawed, her laugh so infectious and genuine that it made you giggle in response.Â
âD-did you just say âwandering vagina,â oh my gââ She chortled. âNever heard that before.âÂ
You shrugged, smiling at how easily amused Abby has been turning out to be.Â
âYou say the strangest shit, you know?â Abby said, still chuckling.Â
âWhat can I say? Itâs a gift.â You replied, to which Abby smiled.Â
âBut really though,â Abby continued. âYou donât have to worry about me and Adriana. Weâre still cool; nothingâs changed in our friendship. You both told me you werenât serious, and sheâs also just someone whoâs never been possessive or jealous as a person. Weâre all adults here, so no need to feel guilty. I promise.âÂ
âYeah, thatâŠthat does help.â You said, hoping that answer would suffice for Abby.Â
Abby seemed like she wanted to press more but decided against it. Instead, she grabbed your hips all of a sudden and lifted you up to place you on top of her, making you straddle her waist.Â
âWhâAbby!â You said, startled. Your arms instinctively flew up to cover your bare breasts, the bed covers no longer shrouding your nakedness.Â
Abby chuckled, reaching up to your wrists and pulling them away from your chest.Â
âAnyone ever tell you how cute you are when you have such a serious thinking face on?â She said.Â
A bashful look crossed your face as you stuttered a quiet ânoâ in response.Â
Abby smirked, dropping your wrists and placing her hands on your waist, tracing up and down your inner thighs with her thumbs. Your breath hitched and you gulped, feeling yourself instinctively grind against her.Â
âWell, you are.â She said. âAnd youâre cute, acting all shy about being naked in front of me like I wasnât just knuckles deep inside you ten minutes ago.âÂ
You bit your lip, partly from embarrassment and partly because Abbyâs tracing of your thighs turned into squeezing.Â
âY-you w-werenât⊠knuckles-deepâŠâ You stammered.Â
Abby chuckled, raising an eyebrow.Â
âWhy the hell are you correcting me on how far inside of you I was anatomically?â She asked, extremely amused.Â
âI donât know!â You said, flustered and rolling your eyes.Â
Abby chuckled, wrapping a muscular arm around your waist to keep you steady as she sat up to be at eye-level with you. With her free hand, she firmly gripped your chin between her large fingers and forced your eyes to meet hers.Â
âYouâre very easy to fluster, you know.â She whispered.Â
âI-Iââ was all that you could get out before Abbyâs lips found yours. The sentence youâd meant to continue instead turned into a quiet shriek of surprise then into a lustful sigh that melted into the kiss.Â
Not ten seconds later, Abby pulled away slightly, a cocky look on her face.Â
âAny more anatomical complaints, then?â She murmured.Â
âNot at all, Dr. Anderson.â You chuckled breathlessly.Â
You jolted as Abby laughed again all of a sudden, grabbing both your shoulders for support.Â
âWas it⊠that funny?â You chuckled, a little confused.Â
âNo, no, Iâm sorry,â Abby said. âItâs just thatâmy dad was Dr. Anderson.âÂ
âYour dad?âÂ
âYeah, he was a doctor.â She explained. âBefore he passed, he used to be a surgeon back when my family and I lived in Utah.âÂ
Shit, her dad. Of course.Â
Abby had mentioned her father to you several times already. You didnât know much about him other than the fact that Abby completely adored the man and that he had died when she was only 16.Â
âRight, makes sense.â You said, wrapping your arms around her neck.Â
Abbyâs father didnât seem like an off-limits topic with her. In fact, you were in awe of how at peace she was with it. She seemed happy to talk about her dad, somehow able to acknowledge his passing and yet speak of him as if he was always present in a way. She didnât make it uncomfortable to ask about him, and you often had the impression that she actually preferred it when others didnât fuss over it. So you made sure not to.Â
âSo no to calling you Dr. Anderson, then?â You asked.Â
âWell, actually,â Abby embraced your waist and pulled you closer to her body. âKind of studying to be a doctor. Like him.âÂ
âWait, really?â You replied, a bit of shock in your voice. âHow did I not know that?âÂ
âDonât really know, pretty girl,â She replied, smirking. âGot too distracted by my washboard abs to notice?âÂ
âOh my god, shut the fuck up.â You scoffed, smiling and rolling your eyes.Â
Abby chuckled before leaning into your neck to leave trails of kisses.Â
âHas anyone ever told you that youâre also very cute when you have a little bit of an attitude?â She asked, lifting her head up slightly in between kisses.Â
âMm, I donât know,â You sighed, pulling her further into you and trying not to grind too eagerly against her once again. âMaybe once or twice. But why donât you remind me, Dr. Anderson?âÂ
You heard Abby suddenly moan in your ear, almost growling, before you were suddenly thrown on your back onto the bed. Any words that meant to roll off your tongue were replaced instead with cries of pleasure as your knees were pried apart with Abbyâs strong hands, her mouth finding ways to answer your question without words.Â
Present DayÂ
âSo still planning on becoming a surgeon, then?â You ask.Â
âStarting med school immediately after I graduate this year.â Abby replies.Â
âWow,â You say, impressed. âThatâs really soon. Are you nervous about it?âÂ
âHmm, not nervous, exactly,â Abby replies, thinking. âI grew up around doctor shit, so I have a tiny idea of what Iâm facing. Iâm choosing to stay positive about it all for now.âÂ
âCommendable,â You smile. âHow the hell have you been surviving all your pre-med shit with sports and all?âÂ
âHey,â She says, shrugging. âYou said it yourself. Iâm basically a superhero.âÂ
You chuckle. Youâve forgotten just how confident Abby is and how attractive it was to see it in action.Â
âRight, of course. How could I forget?âÂ
âYou know, maybe if I really was Wonder Woman, I could attend my next class and get a coffee with you right now. If youâre not busy, that is.âÂ
âThat is not how Wonder Woman works, Abby.â You say, giggling.Â
âOh, whatever.â Abby laughs, rolling her eyes. âForgot just how much of a nerd you were, pretty girl.âÂ
âHeyââ You start.Â
âYO ABS, are you gonna throw that shit back or keep flirting with hot chicks?!â A voice behind Abby calls.Â
Abby grunts in annoyance, turning around to face her friend Jordan who was several feet away from where you both were.Â
âStop throwing like a little bitch and we wouldnât be having this problem, dumbass!â She calls back at him, to which he replies with a playful, âOh, fuck off!â
You watch as Abby draws back, arms flexing as she throws the football in a quick, perfect spiral towards Jordan. He catches it, but not before it makes a loud thud against his chest.Â
âOW, FUCKâ" He shouts in pain.Â
âDumbass!â She hollers in response.Â
You're both chuckling when she turns back to face you.Â
âNeed to go?â You ask.Â
âDidnât you hear? Iâm busy flirting with hot chicks. Well, just one hot chick.âÂ
Your purse your lips, sheepish.Â
âSo,â She said. âCoffee?âÂ
âAbby, you just said you had a class to get to in a bit. Also,â You gesture to your mostly-empty coffee cup still next to you in the grass. âBeat you to the punch.âÂ
âAh, fuck.âÂ
âSorry,â You chuckle. âIâve also got class in,â You checked your phone for the time. âAround five minutes or so.âÂ
âWow, you really wanna avoid getting a coffee with me that bad, huh?âÂ
âOh, absolutely. I premeditatedly mapped out my entire class schedule this semester just so I didnât have to hang out with you right at this moment.â You joke.Â
âI knew it.âÂ
You laugh.Â
âCan I at least walk you to class, though?â Abby asks.Â
âSure,â You replies. âBut what about your class?âÂ
âGot a bit of time; donât worry about it.âÂ
You smile before you gather your things together quickly. You reach for your coffee cup but it disappears suddenly before your hand is even inches from it. Â
âAbby!â You exclaim, jumping up onto your feet as you quickly pull your backpack on.Â
âWhat?â She questions, walking backwards while still facing you to throw your coffee cup away in a nearby trash can.Â
âI canât throw away my own trash?âÂ
âJust being helpful.â She says, shrugging.Â
âYou canât be both a superhero and some chivalrous lesbian knight.âÂ
âI can do whatever I want, pretty girl.âÂ
You feel your face getting hot once more.Â
âSo,â She starts. âWhich way is your next class?â She begins walking in the wrong direction.Â
âAbout twenty feet east of where youâre heading, silly.âÂ
âOh, uhhâŠâ Abby stops in her tracks, eyebrows furrowed in concentration while processing your directions.Â
You laugh and roll your eyes, grabbing her arm and leading her towards the building your next class was in.Â
âStraley Hall, right in front of you, dummy. Remind me never to travel across the country with you.â You say.Â
âWhat kind of nerd actually says âeastâ when giving directions!â She complains.Â
âThatâs a perfectly normal thing to say!âÂ
âWhy are the cutest girls always the weirdest ones?â Abby says, shaking her head.Â
You looked away from her, trying to hide your embarrassed smile.Â
âHow are you supposed to save peopleâs lives when you donât even understand simple directions, Dr. Anderson?âÂ
She smirks at your comment and her lips form to reply with a retort of their own.Â
Just a few feet down the brick college road, Ellie stands frozen on the spot. Her hands are balled up in fists and her jaw is clenched. Her ocean green eyes trail after your unknowing figure, fixating on the wide smile on your lips as you let out peals of genuine laughter and your fingers still gently caressing the bicep of golden girl and star athlete, Abigail Anderson.
author's notes:
HAHAHAHA "in case of a zombie apocalypse" get it, cause the game is set in a zombâyeah y'all get it (sorry not really)
let's all take a brief sexy second together and imagine abby as amazon from themyscira... now let's all let out the collective horny sigh together.
thank you all for being so patient waiting for this one. life has been... yeah (if you've been keeping up with the personal stuff I've said on my blog the last week, that should add more context to what a shit my life has been recently). i've been having to push myself with writing lately cause i feel like i'm getting too into my head about it. but thank y'all so much for being supportive and all, thank you for not giving up on me!
not gonna lie, loves. i may have gotten extremely horny writing certain scenes in this and had to take multiple breaks because my mind was concocting too many distracting scenarios as a result (the ellie scene took me days to get through to write, i'm so dead serious, and the smut-adjacent abby scene almost turned into a full-fledged smut scene cause i'm such a fucking lesbian, oops, i genuinely had to restrain myself so i could write the story the way i actually have it planned out).
abby having no sense of direction at the end of the chapter is just a personal reference to me when i played tlou2 for the first time and when i was playing as abby at the very start when she's mad at owen for getting mel pregnant and trying to go after joel on her own, i got lost for like 10 minutes just going in circles in the fucking woods and snow like a moron. just wanted to be a little bit silly by creating no sense of direction!abby hehe

Plus One
Prompt number: 11 "Well that worked out great
Fandom: Stranger Things
Pairing: Robin Buckley x reader (modern au)
Rating: T(een)
Word count: 2.1k+
Warnings: Swearing probably. Homophobia. Hints of internalized homophobia. My bad writing. A rushed ending, I fear.
A/N: heh like pretty much everything I write this is loosely based off an experience I had. I came out to my cousin when I was 14 and was dating my ex girlfriend. She repeatedly asked me if I was sure I wanted to be with a girl and told me that I was just confused. She got engaged right before I started working on this, so it was cathartic to write, and it's been sitting in my wip's ever since so I figured I would finish it.
The invitation you received in the mail came as a surprise to you, and youâve been livid in the moments since opening it. Your cousin Leslie, who is a few years older than you, is getting married, and youâd be happier for her if she wasnât marrying her long time friend Adriana. Rereading the invitation for what feels like the one hundredth time, youâre hit with a painful flashback to highschool when you actually trusted Leslie. Trusted her so much that you came out to her.Â
âLes, can I tell you something?â you fiddle with the strap of your purse as you await her response. Â
âYouâre not pregnant, are you?â her eyes widen and flick down to your stomach.Â
âNo, but now Iâm getting rid of this shirt,â you sigh, flicking the hem of your brand new top. âItâs nothing like that, I just want to talk to someone about my crush. Iâm too nervous to tell Robin or Steve about it, Iâm not sure if theyâll support it.â
âWell who is he then?â Leslie perks up, excited that youâre actually getting out there.Â
âShe,â you whisper. You trust your cousin Leslie more than pretty much anyone else in your life, youâve always felt comfortable opening up to her, the only person in your family you trust enough. âSheâs drop dead gorgeous, sheâs a little weird, and she-â
âItâs a girl?â Leslie cuts you off, and thatâs when you notice her expression. Itâs somewhere between confusion and...disgust? âI thought you used to like Steve.â
âYeah, in like third grade,â you laugh awkwardly, wanting nothing more than to rewind time to before you ever started this conversation. âEvery girl did, and I only said I liked him to fit in.â
â(Y/N/N), letâs not be rash, you donât really like this girl,â she puts her hand up to stop you when you open your mouth to defend yourself and your feelings. âI know you (Y/N), you love guys, youâre just confused.â
No matter how hard you tried to convince Leslie that night that youâre interested in girls, she wouldnât accept it. From that day on you no longer trusted her, nor did you voluntarily talk to her nor her boyfriend of over five years, and he was practically your cousin at that point too. But what you do do, is push down your feelings for girls for years, and you date Eddie up until graduation even though you donât have any interest in him, just to be normal.
âWhatâs wrong honey?â Robinâs voice drips of concern when she notices that youâre near tears staring down at a letter. All the hurt and anger you felt for and from Leslie for years comes rushing to the surface in the form of tears.Â
You donât know how to respond, your brain canât seem to formulate any words at the moment, so you thrust the invitation into Robinâs hand. The confusion is so clearly written on her face, she canât figure out why a simple wedding invitation can bring you, someone who hasnât really shown vulnerable emotions in years, close to tears.Â
âYour cousin, right?â Robin met her once years ago at a birthday party you had, back when you were young and you thought it was normal to want to marry your female best friend one day. âDo you not like her girlfriend or something?âÂ
âYeah, I donât like that sheâs a girl,â your brain is going a mile a minute, and the look of hurt that crosses Robinâs face is proof that your mouth is working faster than your brain. âWait, that didnât come out right.â
âYeah,â the brunette crosses her arms and takes a step back. âIt came out homophobic.â
âSheâs the reason Iâm still in the closet,â you blurt out while tears start to cascade down your cheeks. âAnd now sheâs marrying her best friend like itâs nothing, that what she said to me was nothing.â
âWait, youâre-â
âIâm a lesbian, Robin, the only other person Iâve told was Leslie. She belittled me, she acted like I didnât know what I was feeling, she made me feel like something was wrong with me. She spent hours telling me I was confused, and that I was really into boys. She pushed me back into the closet. Sheâs the reason I ever dated Eddie!â
âYou like girls?â Robin asks again like sheâs short circuiting at the information.Â
âYes! I donât see why this is such a big deal to you, youâre the one that went out with two different women this month,â your angry tears are really starting to bubble up and youâre scared that youâre going to start sobbing if Robin doesnât just drop it.Â
âItâs just a lot to process,â she defends herself. Sheâs probably right, it probably is a lot for her to handle, finding out that her best friend is a lesbian just like her, when you had endless opportunities to tell her knowing that she would support you. âI canât believe you never told me.â
âIâm going to my room,â you huff, spinning on your heels and stomping down the hall towards the bedrooms. Robin tries to catch your arm and keep you in place, but you dodge her hand at the last second and book it to your room.Â
Flopping face first on your bed the tears start streaming down your face, youâre confused and that just upsets you more. Obviously, you want to be happy for your cousin and support her in her relationship; but at the same time youâre angry that the entire time she belittled you and made you feel worthless, she liked women too.Â
âHoney,â Robin pops her head in your room a few minutes later. âPlease talk to me.â She lays down on your bed next to you.Â
âAnd say what?â you turn your head to peek out at her.Â
âLetâs start with something simple, when did you know?â She rubs your back soothingly, trying to calm your tears.Â
âWhen I was a kid; I went to a wedding when I was around ten and I started to imagine my wedding one day, and in this fantasy I was marrying a woman.â
âWhy did you decide to tell your cousin?â Robin continues her line of questioning.Â
âBecause I trusted her then,â you shift onto your side and hide your face in Robinâs shoulder. âAnd I was pretty much in love with someone back then and I wanted to talk about it and I had no one to talk to, because you were still in the closet then and I was scared that you would judge me, or be disgusted by me, or hate me. I just wanted to get it all off my chest and ask for advice, but all I got was judgment from my cousin that was supposed to love me. We were close back then, and she ruined it.â
âWhy didnât you tell me?â Robin wraps her arm around your waist and pulls you close when you start to pull away at the question.Â
âBecause I was scared, I didnât know how to let someone in like I tried with Leslie. She was so disgusted that I felt disgusted with who I am. But, God, Robin, Iâve been keeping it in for so long. It hurt so much.â
âOh honey,â she runs her hand over your hair, and you lay in her arms crying for what feels like hours.Â
âYour invitation says you get a plus one,â Robin breaks the silence an hour and a half later. You lift your head from its place on her chest to make squinty confused eye contact.Â
âYeeeessss?â youâre trying to figure out what sheâs getting at.
âIâll go as your plus one,â she says like itâs the most obvious answer. âWe can pretend that weâre dating and happy and stick it to her. Once she sees you happily with a woman I think youâll probably feel better and be able to get over how she made you feel. Youâll be able to be authentically you once you do this.â
âYou might be right,â you cuddle into Robinâs side again, clinging onto her. You may not be fake dating her yet, but youâll enjoy any close proximity that you can until the wedding is over.
The next few months come and go with you and Robin coming up with things to say and little touches that you can do at the wedding to get Leslie to notice that youâre more than just friends. And youâll admit to yourself, and only yourself, that you like all of the practicing of the touches.Â
âIs that Robin?â Leslie asks at her reception, shocked that the little lanky brunette that followed you around when you were a kid is all grown up.
âYeah it is,â you smile at Robin, casually entwining your fingers with hers. Your heart is pounding in your chest, your brain knows this was part of the plan, but your heart isnât on the same page.Â
âYou guys are together?â Leslie asks slowly, like itâs the hardest thing for her to fathom.Â
âWe are,â Robin speaks up, lifting your entwined hands to her lips and delicately places a kiss on yours. Gone is the anxious timid girl, and in her place is this confident woman who's smirking at you.Â
âSharing an apartment made us realize that there was more here than just our friendship.â you give Robin a sly once over, once again appreciating how she looks in her pantsuit.Â
You can see Leslieâs face twist, you arenât close enough to her anymore to understand what the look means. But you do know that it doesnât seem positive. Luckily, youâre saved by Leslieâs new wife calling her over to see her new in-laws.
Four hours and just as many drinks later, you're going back up to the bar to grab your fifth when Leslie corners you.
âWhy are you with Robin?â Leslie asks, pulling you into a literal corner.Â
âWhy not?â you glare back at her, not understanding why she keeps this fucking going.Â
âWhy are you dating a woman?â she asks again, ironically sounding more and more homophobic with every interaction, at her own lesbian wedding.
âWhy am I dating a woman? Because Iâm a lesbian. Why am I with Robin? Because Iâve been in love with her since we were kids, Leslie!â You whisper shout, not wanting to draw attention from your family. âI tried telling you that years ago, and you shamed me. This is your wedding, youâre supposed to be celebrating your love, not trying to argue with me about my sexuality again.â
âAre you okay?â Robin asks, coming up next to you and wrapping her arm around your waist, glaring at Leslie. Â
âWeâre fine,â you turn in her hold, and wrap your arms around her neck. âI was just about to come find you and see if you wanted to dance.â
âI thought youâd never ask,â with one last glare at Leslie, Robin yanks you to the center of the busy dance floor.Â
Youâre holding each other close and swaying to the music, it feels like a dream. If only you had just become Mrs. Buckley, then it would be just like the dream you had when you were ten.Â
âSo youâve been in love with me for years?â she finally whispers, you had hoped that she hadnât heard that.Â
âMaybe,â you whisper, not daring to pull away from her and look at her face. So long as you donât look at her, you can imagine that sheâs happy about this revelation.Â
âWell I hope you have been, and still are, because Iâve been in love with you for as long as I can remember.â This time you do pull away, you want to see the sincerity on her face, want to know in your heart and soul that she really means it. âLiving with you has been torture! Youâre always running around in those oversized tees and those skimpy little shorts that are practically just underwear. Itâs been next to impossible not to do anything.â Â
âMaybe I wanted you to take notice and do something,â You giggle.Â
And do something she does, she pulls you in for a heated kiss. Your teeth clack with how fast she pulls you in, but you canât be bothered to care. In fact, you realize itâs a perfect first kiss, so much pent up emotion and feelings that you canât be apart for one second longer. Pain and consequences be damned, youâve finally got your girl.Â
âWell, that worked out great, I should have fake dated you sooner,â a breathless Robin mutters, and you canât help but giggle at her reaction to your first kiss. She starts laughing too, and you canât wait anymore and pull her into another kiss.Â

His publicist nagging, âYou need some exposure in the summer break, especially with you and Gisele going on.â
âWhatâs the point if sheâs not even going to be there? Id rather just meet her at dinner or something.â He responds, waving his hand about.
She sighs, and he continues staring up at the ceiling of his home office, playing with the strings of his jumper.
She turned to face him, biting her tongue slightly.

Ganhei uma nova depiladora que me fode bem gostoso. (lesb)
By; Adriana
Ela finalizava a depilação me levando ao extremo prazer.

"While mainstream media increasingly cover violence and legislative attacks against trans people, many scholars and activists worry that focusing just on violence and discrimination fails to capture the full experience of being trans.
Drawing on the success of movements like the Black Joy Project, which uses art to promote Black healing and community-building, trans activists are challenging one-dimensional depictions of their community by highlighting the unique joys of being transgender.
My research on trans parents affirms the reality of trans joy. From 2019 to 2021, I interviewed 54 transgender women â both current and prospective parents â from diverse racial and class backgrounds across the country.
I found that while many have navigated discrimination in their parenting journeys, they also have fulfilling parent-child relationships, often with the support of partners, families of origin and their communities.
Gender euphoria
Scholars and community members use the term gender euphoria to describe a âjoyful feeling of rightness in oneâs gender/sex.â
It diverges from the diagnosis of gender dysphoria, or a sense of conflict between assigned sex and gender identity typically associated with feelings of distress and discomfort.
Gender euphoria celebrates feeling comfortable with who you are and how you are perceived by the world.
Some people transition with a specific set of goals, while others discover new sources of joy and new facets of their identity over time.
Many of the trans women I interviewed expressed their gender euphoria in relation to their role as mothers. A Black trans woman in her 20s, whom I will call Gloria, experiences joy in being recognized as a mother.
âI love being called Mom. Thatâs the greatest thing,â she told me. âI love waking up every morning to see [my childâs] beautiful face. It keeps me motivated.â ...
For many trans people, transitioning opens up a new set of possibilities. When I asked Adriana, a trans Latina in her 30s, what it was like to come out as trans, she told me,
âIâve never been happier. The happiest day of my life was when my daughter was born, and the second happiest day of my life was when I [started transitioning].â
Family and community connections
While some trans people do experience rejection from their families of origin, that is not true for the majority of the community.
In a 2015 national survey of over 27,700 trans adults, the U.S. Trans Survey, 60% of respondents reported having families who are supportive of their trans identity.
Trans women also form chosen families with friends, co-workers and other community members. Relationships with other trans people can have particularly positive effects on identity development and overall well-being, including emotional resilience, self-acceptance and a sense of connection.
Trans community care
In addition to caring for their biological and adopted children, the trans women I interviewed felt a responsibility to take care of their community.
Sometimes this care manifested as parent-child relationships, in which respondents provide financial or emotional support to LGBTQ+ youth.
Maggie, a white woman in her 50s, didnât know she was a parental figure for her âqueer kidsâ until they tagged her on Instagram to celebrate Motherâs Day.
âSomeone might go, âHey, can I stay on your sofa tonight? Iâm having a hard time.â Well, yeah, of course,â she said.
âOr they might hang around the shop [I work at], and only later it dawns on me, âOh, this was the only place they could come and get affirmed and not feel weird.ââ ...
Miriam, a white trans woman in her 60s, agreed that she has a lot to learn from younger trans people.
âA lot of my community today, people who I count as family and my beloveds, are not of my generation,â she said. âBelovedsâ is the term she uses to describe her platonic loved ones.
âI learn a lot from my beloveds in their 20s and 30s, who donât have the same baggage I [dealt with] about how I could be and who I could be.â"

~~~
colbybrock x f!reader
Summary: Youâve been dating Colby Brock for awhile, and he tells his fanbase about you. The entire internet goes crazy over the news. You two decide to do a Q&A and the questions get a little suspicious.. (941 words)
Live Stream Q&A
~*Colby Brock*~
Colby and I have been dating for a couple months. Weâve talked about telling the internet about our relationship, but weâve been too nervous and apprehensive. We finally decided to do it, and I am super nervous. But itâs not like I need anyoneâs validation. I just donât wanna deal with jealous bitches on the street. I also donât wanna be seen as âColby Brockâs girlfriend.â I love him, but Iâm my own person.
Iâm laying on Colbyâs soft bed and staring at the ceiling. I hear Colby walk up to the door and open it. âY/N?â he asks. I let out a grumble, which prompts Colby to sit on the bed with me. âWe donât have to do it if itâs gonna bother you?â Colby says comfortingly.
I sit up and shake my head. âItâs not going to. I donât want it to ruin everything,â I explain. Colby nods his head and plants a soft kiss on my cheek.Â
âCome on, let's start filming,â Colby says, pulling me out of the bedroom.
~
The video has just been posted, and me and Colby are sitting on the couch cuddling. âWell there goes my individuality,â I joke. Colby lets out a soft chuckle.
âIt won't be that bad. Iâm sure the fans will find a way to understand,â he responds. Colbyâs phone dings, and we look at each other. That ding is soon followed by another. My phone even starts buzzing. We finally look away and check our phones.
My inbox is filled with varieties of comments about Colby and me. Some cringey teenagers saying, âCOLBY IS MY MAN! BACK OFF!â Which doesnât bother me too much. Thereâs a ton saying, âY/Nâs so pretty! She looks exactly like Adriana Lima.â Iâm flattered by those comments, and my stomach feels light and fluttery with butterflies. Those butterflies quickly die and smash into the ground when I see the DMs sending me death threats.
Colby mustâve seen the look on my face because he pulls me into a tight hug. âY/N, itâs okay. Theyâre just jealous teenagers. They only say that shit because they know they donât have a chance with me,â he says.
I break away from the hug and pull our lips together. Our lips brush against each other softly. Colby's lips are soft and fit perfectly with mine. We break away the kiss and shyly look at each other.
Colby and I grab our phones and look at more DMs and comments. One of the comments says that we should do a Q&A. That sounds pretty fun. If the fans get to know me more, theyâll probably accept me into their society. If not, I donât need them. Colby is more than enough for me.
âWe should do a live stream and let your fans send Q&A questions,â I suggest. Colby sets his gaze on me and nods hesitantly.
âHonestly, anything to get away from these comments,â Colby complains. He runs to grab all the stuff he needs for a live stream. Once heâs got everything, Colby sits down again. He pulls me into a powerful embrace. âYouâre amazing. Donât let these people get to you,â he says.
I pull out of the hug and grab his jaw carefully. âIâm strong. I got this. Iâm just happy to be with you,â I state as a smile slides onto my face. Colby smirks at me and goes to start the live stream. His hair falls into his eyes, creating the perfect image of that sweet boy I love.
âHey everyone,â he says nervously, âThis is my girlfriend Y/N, as you all know.â He turns to me, and I smile and wave at the camera. âWeâre doing a Q&A so you can get to know her, which is posted on my instagram,â he adds. He drapes his arm around my shoulder and pulls up the questions on his phone.
âCharliethe3rd asks what do you see in Colby Y/N?â Colby reads aloud, teasingly raising his eyebrow at me.
âHonestly, Iâm only dating him because he hasnât had a girlfriend in years. I call it pity-dating,â I tease. I quickly burst out into laughter.
âFuck you! Iâm so hot I could pull anyone!â Colby fights. I laugh at him, and he starts to laugh too. This is pretty much a representation of every time Colby and me talk.
âAnyways,â I say, âIf Iâm gonna get real, heâs super charismatic. His energy radiates when he walks into a room. He has the most contagious smile, and his face crinkles when he laughs, which melts my heart.â Colby stares at me in awe, and his face turns pink. âBlushing?â I tease.
Colby clears his throat and says, âbendover69 asks.. Iâm sorry, but who the fuck names themselves that?â As we answer questions and talk, time blurs together, and weâre both exhausted. We decided to answer one last question.
Colbyâs face turns red when he reads the question. He lets out an uncomfortable laugh. âUh.. kayleighlikescats asks, have you guys had sex?â he says. Colby and I look at each other. We havenât, and itâs not like we have to. I might wait until marriage.
âUh. Not your business,â I laugh. I read the chat that was begging for answers.
âGuys, neither of us is required to say that,â Colby states. I shake my head and laugh a little.
âIf you guys are SO desperate to know, Iâll tell you. Even though you donât need to know, Iâm thinking about waiting till marriage. Iâm my own person,â I answer.
We end the stream and cuddle that night, happy to have the world know Iâm his and heâs mine.
âIâm still in love with you but... I needed to learn how to love myself too!â
Fanonwriter2023 on AO3
Where CANON and FANON collide!
Exciting update: Buddie Multi-Chapter Fanfic - âIâm still in love with you but... I needed to learn how to love myself too!â
This is an EPIC LOVE STORY!
âIâm still in love with you but... I needed to learn how to love myself too!â - Currently 25 chapters completed: 973.1K Words; Rated: Mature
__________
Exciting Update: The number of chapters for this fic has been increased from 30 to 40!
Before I explain why I increased the number of chapters, I would like to say THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU đđ€đđ to everyone who has been reading my massive multi-chapter fanfic and I would also like to say WELCOME to anyone who would like to begin reading it. I really appreciate everyone's supportive and encouraging words and please know that I read every AO3 comment that's posted and I respond to all of them.
This fic is Buck's and Eddie's FANON EPIC LOVE STORY and IMO, it has taken them places the show refuses to go!
I've loved every minute I've spent writing it and I'm looking forward to writing even more of it. Currently it's at almost 1 million words but when I first started writing it last year, I had no idea I would be this far along with it because my initial plan was for the fic to only be 12 chapters. Then I changed the amount in AO3 to undecided (?) but after I posted chapter 9 or 10, I decided 30 chapters would be sufficient.
However, after I completed chapters 24 & 25, I took a week or so to review all the things I want to include in it going forward. Once I did, I had to be honest with myself regarding the 5 remaining chapters because I realized they won't be enough. Therefore, I outlined everything that's still to come and decided to increase the fic by 10 more chapters so the Diaz family's story along with Buck's, Eddie's and Chris' individual stories will get the attention I believe they deserve.
At the end of 2023, I posted on Tumblr and indicated my plan was to finish the entire fic before the start of season 7 but that's not going to happen. Also, for those who have been reading along, I want to assure you that just because the new season is set to begin in three days, that doesn't mean this fic is over. It's NOT FINISHED because there's so much more I have planned for the characters and I will continue writing it until I've posted all 40 chapters. If my timeline works the way I'm hoping, my new plan is to complete it during the hiatus after season 7 ends but before season 8 (if there is one) begins.
There's so much more to come for Buck, Eddie and Chris and a quick reminder, just because Buck and Eddie are married and Buck has adopted Chris, all three of their stories will continue.
Here are of the things that still need to be completed.
Eddie's still working towards obtaining two more paramedic certifications so he can become the Critical Care Paramedic of Los Angeles County.
Chris still has to complete the video game he's working on with his classmates.
Buck is still on medical leave and after they returned to L.A.; he told Eddie he didn't know if he wanted to go back to the 118. The question is will he or is he going to find new employment? đ
Furthermore, Buck and Eddie put a bid in on a house while they were in Italy. Are they going to get it? đ
Chapter 25 ended with a massive cliffhanger and the person who sent Buck the package still has to be revealed. đ„č
Finally, their vow renewal ceremony is scheduled for May 2024 and they're going back to Italy for the entire month of June. Adriana's sons are going with them but Buck and Eddie still have to talk with Chris about the University of Florence's summer program when he returns home and they still have to talk to Adri and Tonio to see if Chris' cousins can go too.
So, please believe me when I say there's so much more in store for them and that's why I believe adding 10 additional chapters will allow me to continue to tell their story in a way that's not rushed and I won't have to include any time jumps to fit it all in.
Thank you again for reading, commenting in AO3 and for reblogging the posts about this fic. I really appreciate everyone's support and encouragement.
AND REMEMBER... THIS FANFIC WON'T BE FINISHED UNTIL THE LAST CHAPTER HAS BEEN POSTED!
__________
Chapter 10 - As Buck and Eddie finally begin to confront their past traumas, they realize how much they need each other to fill in the gaps of their memories. Additionally, the universe screams at them for what appears to be the one hundredth time so Buck can realize he doesnât have to âfind itâ because he already âmade itâ and Eddieâs reminded tomorrow isnât promised and he doesnât have to die alone if he doesnât want to.
Chapter 11 - A âvirgaâ or dry thunderstorm is in the forecast but once the rain starts, the thunderstorm happening outside wonât be able to match the storm brewing inside between Buck and Eddie. Itâs the universeâs final scream and when the tumultuous winds begin to blow, theyâll have one last chance to hold onto everything theyâve built over the last six years or theyâll lose it all forever.
Chapter 13 - While navigating the newness of their romantic relationship, Buck and Eddie take advantage of every moment they spend together. Chapter 14 - Buck and Eddie can see the lights at the end of the tunnels regarding the results of Buckâs Cancer Screening along with everything else theyâre dealing with. Even though Chris is still the only person theyâve told about their relationship, several people who know them have already witnessed the love they share and as the days continue, others will witness it too.
Chapter 17 - As Buck and Eddie get closer to departing Los Angeles for their international adventure, a moment in time will remind them; life is fragile, tomorrow isnât promised and every second of everyday should be cherished because everything can change in an instant. The result of that realization will cause them to hold onto each other even more.
Finally weâve got the new beginnings! Just met and just married! So much potential ahead of them!
âĄïžâĄïžâĄïžâĄïžâĄïžâĄïžâĄïžâĄïžâĄïžâĄïžâĄïžâĄïžâĄïžâĄïžâĄïžâĄïžâĄïžâĄïžâĄïžâĄïžâĄïž (they be honeymooning! Bring on that newlywed bliss! I mean theyâre basically always like that for each other but now theyâve got an excuse and by god are they gonna use it!)
đđđđđđđđđđđđđđđđđ (buck so would be a librarian in another live. Him being all nerdy and helpful and amazing with kids - especially christopher - watch out eddie! Youâre gonna fall in love before you know it!)
Iâm obsessed with your work and eternally grateful that you share it - but you already knew this :p hope you have fun writing these!
- PCA <3
Oh love this theme!!!!! You are so kind, PCA. I always look forward to your asks.
63 for âĄïž (Yesssss more honeymoon phase!)
---
Eddie finishes saying goodbye to Adriana and Ravi, says a final goodbye to Christopher, and then puts Buck out of his misery at last by joining him in the truck.Â
âWe are four minutes behind schedule,â Buck chides as Eddie buckles his seatbelt.Â
âTragic,â Eddie smirks.Â
âIt will be when we donât stop for coffee,â Buck warns.
Starting off their honeymoon with a very serious threat. Interesting tactic. Height of romance, really.
âBuck,â Eddie complains. âItâs only an hour and twenty minutes of driving. Surely we can spare a coffee run.â
Buck smirks. âFine. But Iâll find a way to get my four minutes back at some point.â
Oh, Eddie is sure. He knows who he married.
âJust donât take it out on the coffee.â
đČđČđČ
The rental in San Clemente is literally perfect.Â
Theyâd discussed going further away. Mexico, maybe. But between the wedding, the house, and planning for another kid, they decided not to spend more than necessary. Plus, they already live in one of the most beautiful places in the world. They didnât need to go very far.Â
The moment they walk into the little condo, Buck knows they made the right choice. Itâs a tidy one bedroom with a full kitchen, a king sized bed, a big shower, a private ocean-view balcony, and a walk down to the beach.Â
âThis is incredible,â Eddie grins, walking out onto the balcony.Â
âWe are going to enjoy this balcony,â Buck agrees.Â
Eddie shoots him a look. âBuckâŠâ
âHoneymoon rules apply here, Eddie,â Buck tells him.
âHoneymoon rules?â Eddie asks skeptically. âWhat are those?â
âMaking them up as I go along,â Buck informs him.
Eddie rolls his eyes, but heâs smiling.Â
Yeah. Theyâre definitely going to enjoy the balcony.Â
âââ
Neither of them has had a honeymoon before. Neither of them is particularly accustomed to vacations, either. Though, perhaps Buck has some of the old Peruvian resort lifestyle living in him somewhere. Needless to say, it takes them both a minute to figure out what to do with literally nothing they need to do. Buck unpacks the groceries. Eddie searches the cupboards for glassware and pours them wine in nice, big blue-tinted glasses. They manage to relax on the balcony for, like, an hour, before they both get a bit twitchy.
âWe arenât sit and stare at the sea people, are we?â Eddie asks. Â
âNo, I donât think we are.â Buck agrees.Â
âWhat do honeymoon rules say about swimming while slightly intoxicated?â Eddie posits.Â
A little ill-advised. But itâs not like theyâre shit faced. And, well, Eddie doesnât have a lot of ill-advised fun stories.Â
âOh, let me review with the board,â Buck teases. âHmm. Apparently itâs fine if we conveniently forget weâre first responders.â
âAnd parents?â Eddie suggests.
âOh, yeah. Good call.â
âThen maybe we can have some fun?â Eddie wiggles his eyebrows.
âI like the sound of that.â
51 for đ (YEAH EDDIE WILL):
---
No one is home.Â
As he drives away, he just hopes the gesture will be appreciated and not seen as totally creepy.Â
viii.Â
Itâs a long time before Buck hears back about the gift. Which is good in that, he doesnât get in trouble for abusing the library cardholder database. He spends two weeks nervous heâs going to hear about that every shift.
When he does hear back about it, itâs the fall. School starts up again, and Christopher is enrolled in the aftercare programs. Buck is relieved when he sees his name on the lists. Like itâs a sign that perhaps things are okay.
He sees Christopher again before he sees Eddie. Right away during the first week of school.Â
âChris!â Buck exclaims happily when he sees him come through the library doors. âHow are you, pal? Itâs been a while.â
âIâm good,â Christopher answers happily. Then, he walks over, and gives Buck a quick hug. âThank you for my books, Buck. They made me smile.â
Buck ends the hug quickly. Itâs kind of a discouraged behavior. Though a gray area when the kid initiates. But heâs touched. Happy the gift had an impact, and that Chris remembers. Even after a few months.Â
âYouâre welcome,â Buck replies. âIâm really glad to see you back, kiddo.â
Chris smiles. âThanks, Buck.â
Itâs a few more days until he sees Eddie. When he does, heâs sort of concerned. Itâs not exactly the Eddie he remembers. His hair is shorn. His eyes are tired. Thereâs a strange pattern of bruises on his forearms. He looks rough. If they were actually friends, Buck would ask him about it. But all he can do is quietly observe.
âItâs good to see you again,â Buck smiles as Eddie approaches the front desk before picking Chris up. âWe missed Chris around here.â
Eddie nods. âI, uh⊠I wanted to thank you. Your gift was really appreciated. Sorry I didnât say anything sooner.â
âHey, thatâs not why I sent it. Just wanted you both to know⊠Well, that Iâm really sorry.â
âThank you,â Eddie says. âThatâs kind.â
Thereâs a hollowness in his voice. Like heâs accepted a lot of condolences lately.Â
At AO3 or below the cut!
Eddie wakes up on the day of his sisterâs second wedding in as many weekends and immediately wants to go back to sleep. Before he can close his eyes for ten more minutes, his phone is ringing out the obnoxious old-timey rotary phone sound that Chris installed when he hadnât been paying attention. Adrianaâs name flashes on the screen and he groans to himself as he answers.
âItâs not even 7AM, Adri,â Eddie grumbles, âeither something better be on fire, or you better be running away and need a ride.â
âI resent that!â Sam, Adrianaâs shiny new husband calls out cheerfully from wherever they are.
âUgh,â Eddie says, waiting for Adriana to get to whatever she wants. Sam knows heâs not a morning person at this point.
âYou still have that truck pickup truck with the big backseat, right?â Adri asks, sounding far too awake and alert for Eddieâs liking.
âThe one I drove here from L.A. in?â Eddie snarks, âyes, I still have it.â
âGood!â Adri says, sighing with relief. âThe band is supposed to set up at noon, and theyâre stranded with all their equipment two hours away. And since Samâs sister is running this show, we need someone who can go get them and their stuff in time.â
âCanât you just play music from your laptop?â Eddie asks, already knowing heâs going to do it. âA bunch of white people with no rhythm arenât going to know the difference.â At Adriâs snickering, Eddie belatedly remembers her husband.
âNo offense, Sam,â Eddie adds.
âHey, I have rhythm where it counts!â Sam calls back, wickedly, and Eddie cringes so hard he almost drops the phone on his face.
âDude,â he groans, âI donât need to hear about my sisterâs sex life.â
Sam just laughs, and Eddie rolls his eyes to the ceiling, searching for strength.
âCome on, Eddito,â Adri says sweetly, âplease?â
âIâm older and bigger than you,â Eddie says, stubbornly.
Adri, knowing him well, just waits him out with silence.
âFine,â he says. âGive me their number and tell me where to go. But you have to get Chris from Abuelaâs and make sure he doesnât break anything or himself until I get back.â
âSophiaâs already over there having breakfast with her âfavorite sobrino,â Adri laughs, âas if heâs not her only nephew so far.â
âAs if heâs not your favorite, too,â Eddie says.
âShut up, you made a kid much cuter than you ever were,â Adri says. âNow I have to go get ready, Iâll text you the details.â
âFine,â Eddie sighs, internally hoping he has time to at least grab coffee before he goes.
âGracias, Eddito!â Adriana says, laughing again as she hangs up before he can respond.
Eddie groans again and resigns himself to the day.
From Adrianaâs description, Eddie is expecting four people and an assortment of equipment when he pulls up outside the auto repair shop a couple of hours later. Instead, he finds a stack with what looks like guitar cases and speakers, with neatly wrapped wires attached to them. Next to them is a solitary man who raises a hand in greeting. Heâs tall and fair haired, his eyes hidden under dark sunglasses but a friendly smile on his face.
âHey,â Eddie greets as he parks the truck in front of the man and hops out to join in. âAre you Howard or Evan? My sister didnât give me much to work with.â
âIâm Buck,â the guy says, reaching out a sun-warmed hand to shake Eddieâs. âEvan, legally, but nobodyâs called me that in years.â
âEddie,â he introduces himself. âWhereâs the rest of the band? Adri made it sound like yâall were stranded.â
âI tried to call her back,â Buck says, frowning slightly. âThey were able to find a rental van finally about an hour ago. But nobody answered, and nobody returned my voicemail.â
âSo they just left you here?â Eddie asks. Buck nods, but then shakes his head.
âIt was my idea!â he says. âIt was a really tight fit in the van with all the stuff anyway, and you were already on your way. Figured youâd at least have someone to explain what happened when you got here.â âSorry,â he adds, giving a contrite little shrug.
âDonât worry about it,â Eddie says, shaking his head at the situation. âYou got me out of wedding set-up duty, and Iâve been caffeinated, so I donât feel like murdering any wayward musicians anymore.â
âGlad to know I wonât be murdered and chopped to pieces!â Buck says, grinning.
âWell, the day is young,â Eddie snarks back, but with way less heat than heâd felt when heâd woken up. âCome on, music man,â he says, âlet me help you load this stuff up and weâll get going.â
âI donât have 76 trombones,â Buck says as they load the equipment. âActually, I have zero trombones.â
âThere were three at Adriâs last wedding,â Eddie says, stepping back to let Buck make sure everything is secure enough to his liking.
âOh, the big Mexican one last weekend?â Buck asks, following Eddieâs lead and climbing into the truck and buckling in.
âYup,â Eddie confirms. âIt went so long that I think Iâm actually looking forward to the WASP schedule limits.â
Buck laughs as Eddie pulls back onto the road, treating him to the sight of full pink lips and an adorably wrinkled nose.
Shaking his head to himself, Eddie focuses on the road. Heâs not going to go after the random wedding band player just because heâs been a little lonely since the divorce. Itâd be completely unprofessional.
âYou mind if I turn the AC up for a little while?â Buck asks, stripping off his sweat-soaked t-shirt to reveal muscled arms in a tight grey tank top. âI was out there for a while and this heat is ridiculous.â
Your arms are ridiculous, Eddie thinks but doesnât say. Instead, he nods.
âKnock yourself out,â he says, waving at the console. âNot used to Texas humidity, I take it?â
âHow do you live here?â Buck says, leaning back and sighing with relief as the cool air hits him.
âI donât,â Eddie says, laughing slightly. âMoved away a few years ago. L.A. is hot, but not like this, thank god.â
âLos Angeles?â Buck asks, turning his head towards Eddie slightly with interest.
âYeah,â Eddie says. âYou been there?â
âWeâre based there!â Buck says, grinning. âWe travel all around, especially during wedding season, but we all technically live in L.A.â
âOh, cool,â Eddie says, completely calm and not at alleager. âI never heard of a touring wedding band before. Howâd that happen?â
âKinda weird, right?â Buck says, still looking at Eddie, who can only just barely see him in his peripheral vision. But he nods anyway, keeping his eyes on the thankfully empty freeway as he drives.
âWell, it was just a regular band at first,â Buck explains. âMy sister Maddie is the singer, and she and her husband used to do local events. Thatâs Chimney, or Howard, but nobody calls him that. Anyway. Then Chimâs friend Hen got bored and joined up, so they added electric guitar and starting doing little college shows and stuff. But by the time I moved back to L.A. they were doing mostly weddings anyway, so they just decided to lean into it.â
âWhat do you play?â Eddie asks, curiously. âI would have guessed drummer, but those cases definitely donât look big enough for a drum kit.â
âMaddie banned me from drums when I was eight,â Buck laughs. âI play bass. Itâs great, I can zone out and be focused at the same time, and ADHD miracle.â
âCool,â Eddie says again, swallowing around a suddenly dry throat.
âWe have a manager, kind of,â Buck says, on a roll now. âBobby. He used to be a roadie for bands in the 80âs and I guess he picked up a lot over the years. So when he heard Maddie and Chim, he offered to help them find an audience. He barely gets paid, too, I think he was just bored in his retirement.â
âI get that,â Eddie says, unsure what he would do with himself if he had nothing to do all day.
âRight?â Buck says. âAnd his daughter May was like 16 or something when I joined up and he let her make us an âinternet presenceâ.â
âSo she put you on Instagram?â Eddie asks, laughing kindly.
âAnd tik-tok now,â Buck confirms. âSheâs always filming us and then adding these ridiculous songs to the videos. But hey, it works. We actually make a living now.â
âAnd how many of those videos have you dressed like⊠well, that,â Eddie asks, glancing over for the briefest of moments.
âOh,â Buck says, blushing and ducking his head. âA lot of them, I guess? I get overheated easily.â
âAnd how many of your tiktok fans are teenage girls?â Eddie asks, shooting Buck a quick smile to assure him heâs just having fun.
âIâll have you know we have fans of all ages and genders, thank you very much,â Buck says, raising his chin defiantly.
âIâm sure,â Eddie drolls. He doesnât understand why heâs having so much fun teasing this giant golden retriever of a man, but itâs too late to stop now.
âYouâre one to talk,â Buck says, huffing and crossing his arms across his chest in mock-outrage.
âWhat do you mean?â Eddie says, confused. âI donât have fans. Or tiktok.â
âYeah ok,â Buck says, âbut youâre like, truly ridiculously hot. You must know that.â
Eddie doesnât jerk the steering wheel with the way sparks fly up his spine, but itâs a near thing.
âIâm good enough looking, I guess,â he says, shrugging. âNothing to write home about.â
âYouâre insane,â Buck says, eyebrows raised above his sunglasses with incredulity. âIâd say youâre blind, but youâre literally driving, so I know your eyes work.â
Eddie, suddenly feeling shy like itâs middle school all over again, ducks his head slightly before focusing back on the road.
âShit, sorry,â Buck says, sounding alarmed. âI didnât mean to make you uncomfortable. Iâm always forgetting not everyone is as queer as my friend group. Iâll be quiet.â
Eddie canât help it, he laughs. âI very much doubt you can be quiet for the rest of the ride,â he says, teasingly. âAnd for whatâs itâs worth, Iâm gay. So, youâre not gonna get hate-crimed or anything, relax.â
âOh, thank god,â Buck says, sighing with relief. âI really didnât want to have to kick a groomsmanâs ass today.â
âOh you think you could take me?â Eddie asks, fully aware of how it sounds and secretly thrilled by it.
âAbsofuckinlutely,â Buck says immediately, gulping loudly. âOh,â he says a moment later, âyou meant in a fight.â
This time Eddie does jerk enough to swerve the truck, and he corrects it hurriedly, cheeks flaming red.
âOk,â he says. âWeâre gonna put on NPR and not speak for the rest of the ride. Got it?â
âSir, yes, sir,â Buck says, smirking.
Eddie takes a deep breath and lets it out. Itâs going to be a long ride.
The last- minute wedding prep is in full swing by the time they get to the venue, and Eddie is swept away by his family before he can do more than wave goodbye to Buck. Whether heâs grateful or disappointed hasnât been decided yet.
An hour later, he watches his sister marry the love her life for the second time, and only cries a little bit. He takes the win.
Photos happen after, and he spends another hour standing in various groups of the wedding party, pretending heâs not dying of heat in his tuxedo jacket. He spots Chris under the giant reception canopy, sitting and giggling with some of his cousins from Samâs side, and envies the shade.
He manages not to yawn through the speeches, eats his bland chicken dinner dutifully, and smiles indulgently when Chris ends up with more cake on his face than in his mouth. By the time he hears the beginnings of a song, heâs relaxed enough that it takes him a moment to actually locate Buck and the band in the corner of the room.
âCongratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Miller,â the woman at the front says, and Eddie guesses this is the sister Maddie that Buck spoke about. Sheâs short and curvy, with long waves of brown hair surrounding her pretty face, and Eddie idly wonders what their parents must look like to create such different but gorgeous people. Heâs shaken out of his thoughts by the beginning note of âTime of My Life,â from the Dirty Dancing soundtrack, and spares a hope that his sister isnât going to try the running leap into Samâs arms while wearing her ridiculous heels.
He smiles at the thought despite himself and that is of course the moment that he locks eyes with Buck, who has just looked up from his bass and right into his face.
Heâs even prettier without the sunglasses, and Eddie hates every damn thing about his life in the moment.
But then Buck smiles back at him, fingers not missing a single step on the strings, and Eddieâs bitter thoughts melt away. Itâs possible that he doesnât hate every damn thing after all.
The night moves on, the band playing steadily and skillfully, and Eddie gets pulled into dances with more relatives and old friends than he realized he had. When the night is finally winding down, he slumps onto an ornate metal bench out on the grass, the oppressive sun finally having set. Chris is passed out at one of the tables, stretched out across a few chairs and head padded by someoneâs bundled up jacket. Even from here Eddie can see the contented little smile on his sleeping face, and he takes a moment to be thankful for how much everyone in his sonâs life cares about him, despite anything else. Heâs still lost in thought when someone appears in his peripheral vision, and he looks up, only half-surprised to find Buck.
âHey,â Buck greets with a tired smile. âCan I sit?â
Eddie sits up straighter and waves at the bench beside him in invitation.
âYou look beat,â Eddie says, turning towards him and stretching one arm out along the top of the bench, just barely not touching Buckâs button-up shirt.
âPlaying music on your feet for four hours will do that,â Buck says, unbothered and unoffended. âIâd say you look tired, but you actually still look amazing, and I kind of hate you for that.â
Eddie snorts a laugh and gestures to his family at large.
âHalf-Mexican permanent tan,â he says, âit hides the dark circles.â
âUnfair,â Buck drawls, letting his gaze drift over Eddieâs stupidly perfect bone structure.
Eddie rolls his eyes but says nothing, instead pulling his arm back up so he can rest his head on his hand and stare back at Buck unashamedly.
âIâm not imagining this, right?â Buck asks, hand waving between the two of them slightly.
Eddie shakes his head, and gives Buck a soft smile.
âNot unless I am too,â he says. âHow often are you in L.A., anyway?â
Buck gives him a surprised grin.
âOften enough,â he says, before leaning in and catching Eddieâs lips in a honey-sweet kiss.
Eddie responds with enthusiasm, letting one kiss melt into two and then three and then so many that he loses count, everything a pleasantly wooly haze. Buck has one hand cuffed around Eddieâs neck, the other one linked with Eddieâs, still resting on the top of the bench.
âOooh, get it, hermano!â someone yells out, startling them apart with matching reddened lips.
Eddie groans as he finds Sam watching them from across the green, drink in hand and Adriana at his side, giggling.
âHeâs a menace,â Eddie explains to an amused looking Buck. âBut heâs a good guy.â
âYour sister seems to like him,â Buck agrees, shaking his head as the newlyweds start making out, everyone else forgotten.
âI love my family,â Eddie says, âbut Iâm so glad most of them live here.â
âBut you would like some visitors, right?â Buck asks, looking over at Eddie with hopeful eyes.
âDonât give me those big blue eyes,â Eddie says. âIâm gonna fall in love with you and then youâll never get rid of me.â
âOh no,â Buck says, dryly. âThe horror. Iâm terrified.â
âShut up,â Eddie says, bonking Buckâs forehead lightly with his own then rearranging them both until theyâre sitting properly on the bench, Buck tucked up against him with Eddieâs arm around his shoulders.
âHow do you feel about kids?â Eddie asks, chuckling when Buck gives him a wide-eyed look.
âItâs a little soon for that, donât you think?â Buck asks. âWe met like 8 hours ago.â
âNot our kids,â Eddie clarifies, pointing out the sleeping Chris. âJust letting you know I have one already, if thatâs a deal breaker.â
âOh,â Buck says. âI love kids,â he says. âDefinitely want to be a dad one day.â
âI love this one,â Eddie says, âheâs five, and a complete smart-ass, but heâs the sweetest kid in the world once you get to know him. I think youâll like him.â
âIâm sure I will,â Buck says. âBut I really hope he stays with his mom sometimes, because I want to do so many things to his dad that he shouldnât hear.â
Eddie laughs loudly at that, a pleased flush across his face.
âDonât worry,â he says, âShannon has him like half the month, you can test out the acoustics in my room all you want.â
âA music joke?â Buck asks, âyouâre so dumb.â
âAnd you like me so much?â Eddie asks, leaning in for another soft kiss before Buck can answer.
âYeah,â Buck says when he finally pulls away again. âI really really do.â
âGood,â Eddie says, ânow, where were we?â
The air shifts suddenly, light rain falling from the sky through the thick heat, soaking them slowly as everyone else on the lawn scrambles to make their way back under the tent. Suffice to say, they donât even notice.
The End.
"Iubirea mea.. I'm having contractions.."
---
Sebastian's heart seemed to stop as he read the last message from his wife Y/n. He immediately called her and waited impatiently for her to pick up.
"Excuse me, sir. Could you turn your phone off, please? We're about to take off." A stewardess came to him and reminded him.
"But my wife is in labor!" He protested.
"We know, sir." The stewardess said.
"We know." Passengers around him also chorused along with the stewardess, startling him.
"Fine." He sighed as he looked at his cellphone which had disconnected automatically because his wife hadn't answered it.
"Thank you, sir." The stewardess smiled then finally left.
He typed a quick message to his wife letting her know that he was finally on his way to New York, then he turned the airplane mode of his cellphone on.
He let out a deep sigh as he put his cellphone back in his pocket and looked out the window, praying he could still make it on time to see his baby's birth.
Even though the journey from Atlanta to New York took only two hours, it felt like the longest two hours of his life. When the plane finally touched down in New York, he was the first one to be out of the plane.
"Thank you for flying with us, sir. And hope you can still make it to see your baby's birth." The beautiful stewardess who recognized Adriana and helped her earlier smiled at him as he stepped out of the plane.
"Thank you." He smiled back and immediately walked towards the terminal.
With long and quick strides he dragged his suitcase with one hand and pulled out his cellphone with the other. He turned off the airplane mode on his cellphone and immediately called his wife.
"Honey.. please pick up." He said under his breath as he continued to walk towards the exit of the airport.
"Seb.." his wife finally picked up after five rings and he breathed a sigh of relief.
"Oh Y/n sweetheart.. where are you? How are you? Are you still having contractions?" He asked, panic in his voice.
"I'm at the Brooklyn Hospital Center waiting for dr.Selena to arrive. Are you in New York already?" She asked.
"Oh okay. Yeah. I just landed at JFK."
"Oh thank God. What happened?"
"Long story, honey. I'll tell you later. How are you? Are you still having contractions?"
"Umm.. not really. The last one was before I left for the hospital, like an hour ago. I haven't felt it again. So.."
"Oh okay. Well it's best to still get yourself checked."
"Yeah. I know."
"Okay. Just hang in there. I'm going straight there."
"Okay."
"See you in a bit, honey."
"See you soon, Iubirea mea."
"I love you."
"I love you more." She replied and he smiled.
"Not possible." He responded and she laughed.
"Just get into a taxi and come down here quickly, Iubirea mea." She commanded.
"As you wish, my queen." He replied and she giggled.
"Bye, Iubirea mea."
"Bye, sweetheart." And they finally hung up.
Listening to her voice made him miss her so much. The last time he saw her was two weeks ago. He was supposed to get days off every week but the Thunderbolts shooting schedule towards the end was so tight that he ended up working overtime and didn't get the chance to go back to New York last week. In any case, he was glad she was okay and that it seemed he would make it to his baby's birth.
"Taxi!" He yelled as he finally made it out of the airport and immediately hailed a taxi in front of the exit of the terminal.
A cold breeze passed him and he shivered a little as he stood on the sidewalk and waited. The air felt colder than in Atlanta he thought as he continued to raise his hand up and try to catch a taxi. Thankfully an empty taxi pulled over moments later and he immediately got in.
"Where to, sir?" the taxi driver asked as he slammed the taxi door shut.
"Brooklyn Hospital Center, please." he answered and the driver nodded.
He pulled out his cellphone again as the taxi started to move and sent a message to his wife, letting her know that he was in a taxi and was heading to the hospital.
"And now for the weather forecast. New York City will have clear skies for the rest of the day but starting tonight there might be some snowfall as the temperature drops to 30 degrees. More light snowfall is expected tomorrow in the city as well as around Roxbury, Albany and Poughkeepsie. Expect the skies to clear up on Saturday evening but get ready for a snow storm in the city, Roxbury, Albany and Poughkeepsie starting Sunday with temperatures as low as 22 degrees." The sound of a female weather forecaster came out from the taxi's radio.
Snow storm? That doesn't sound good. He thought as he looked out the window. Chad's wedding was going to be held on Saturday at the Plattekill Mountains which was in Roxbury. He hoped the forecast was correct and the snow storm really happened on Sunday instead of Saturday. A wedding during a snow storm definitely doesn't sound ideal. But then again, at this point he didn't know if he was going to be able to attend it. If his wife really was in labor he definitely couldn't come to the wedding.
His mind wandered to his wife again and he remembered the last time he witnessed her giving birth to their first child, Starlene. It was incredible to witness how strong she was during the whole thing. She insisted on not using any pain relief and wanted to give birth as normal as possible. He saw how much she was in pain but she withstood it all and just used the hypnobirthing method to manage the pain. He remembered witnessing everything from when her cervical dilation was zero until it reached 10 cm and she finally pushed their baby out into the world. He wasn't sure he could be as strong as she was if the position was reversed. He remembered how painful it was to recover from his broken leg and how he couldn't function without the pain killers.
He realized how sensitive she was that she felt pain even when her cervix was not yet dilated. She sounded calm the last time he called her so maybe the contraction really was a false alarm and they could still go to Chad's wedding.
The taxi screeched to a halt all of a sudden and he heard a loud crash as his body was jolted to the front, his face almost hitting the head rest of the front passenger seat.
"Oh f**k!" The taxi driver cursed as he looked to the front. The taxi just hit another car! Steam came out of the taxi's hood and the taxi driver immediately got out of the taxi.
He sighed and shook his head in disbelief. Today felt like his honeymoon all over again with all the bad things happening to him.
He peeked to the front and saw the taxi driver talking with a man who he assumed was the driver of the car they just hit. They both looked tense and seemed to be yelling at each other.
Obviously he couldn't continue riding in the taxi so he got out and approached the taxi driver, dragging his suitcase and carrying his backpack with him.
"Don't you dare blame me for this! You stopped all of a sudden!" The taxi driver yelled.
"I was stopping because someone was jaywalking! I had to stop so I didn't run over him!" The man replied in agitation.
"Excuse me, sir." Sebastian said.
"Oh, I'm sorry about this, sir." The taxi driver turned to him and shot him an apologetic smile.
"It's okay, I'll just get another taxi." He said as he gave the taxi driver two hundred dollars.
"Wait! This is too much!" The taxi driver exclaimed out loud.
"It's fine. Take it." He said as he clapped the shoulder of the taxi driver and smiled then he turned to the other man.
"You okay, man?" he asked in concern.
"Yeah. But my car isn't." The man replied in annoyance as he gestured towards the back of his car. The bumper of the car had quite a deep dent right where the taxi had hit it.
"Here. I hope this is enough to cover the damage." He said as he pulled another two hundred dollars from his wallet and gave it to the man.
"You don't have to do this, man." The man said, raising his hands up, refusing to take the money but there was a small smile on his lips.
"Just take it, man." Sebastian insisted as he continued to extend the money to the man.
"I.. well.. okay. Thank you so much." The man smiled as he finally took the money.
"No problem." Sebastian smiled.
"Where are you heading by the way?" the man asked.
"Brooklyn Hospital Center." He replied.
"That's like three blocks away. I'm heading to Manhattan. I can take you there." the man offered.
"Oh okay. That's great! Thank you." He exclaimed in relief, glad that he didn't have to find another taxi. The weather was quite cold and he wasn't looking forward standing in the cold too long waiting for a taxi.
He followed the man into his car after saying goodbye to the taxi driver who kept thanking him. The man's name was Sean, he was from Brooklyn and he was apparently going to visit his friend's house in Manhattan.
At first he didn't think Sean recognized him. He did tell him his name was Sebastian but he didn't mention his last name. It wasn't until he arrived at Brooklyn Hospital Center that he realized Sean knew who he was.
"Thank you, Sean." He said as he extended his hand and shook Sean's hand.
"No, thank you, Bucky." Sean winked and he laughed.
He got out of the car and waved at Sean. Sean saluted him and he watched as Sean drove away. Just then his phone buzzed. His wife was calling and he immediately picked it up.
"Seb? Where are you?" Y/n's voice came out from the speaker. He noticed that she sounded annoyed.
"I'm at the hospital, honey. Just arrived at the entrance. Where are you?" He replied, wondering why she sounded annoyed.
"Oh okay. I'm on the second floor. Dr. Selena just arrived. They're calling me in."
"Okay. I'll be right there."
She hung up without replying, which made him feel even more curious. He wondered what he did wrong. She was usually like this if he did something wrong.
He sighed as he put his cellphone back in his pocket and continued walking into the lobby of the hospital. As he walked in he remembered the events several years ago when his wife was hospitalized at that hospital with Covid while pregnant with Starlene. He spent days at the hospital watching over her so he knew the hospital well. He immediately took a left turn towards the elevators.
When he got there many people were queueing to enter the elevator so he decided to take the stairs. As he went up he kept wondering what was wrong. He replayed their conversations earlier on the phone and text message but couldn't pinpoint anything that could potentially get her to feel annoyed at him other than the fact that he was late to arrive from Atlanta.
Moments later he arrived on the second floor at the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic and found his wife and Starlene sitting on chairs in front of dr. Selena's office.
"Daddy! Daddy!" Starlene jumped off from her chair as soon as she saw him and immediately ran towards him. He smiled wide as he let go of his suitcase, went down on his knees and embraced Starlene in his arms.
"Hello Starlene, my darling little star. I'm so happy to see you." He hugged her tight and started pecking her cheeks and face with kisses making Starlene giggle.
"Seb.." Y/n's voice entered his ear and he looked up, smiling wide at her. He expected her to smile back but she just stared at him, her eyebrows furrowed.
"Honey. Are you okay?" He stood up and went closer to her, intending to give her a hug but she stepped back, startling him.
"Are you having contractions again?" He asked.
"No. Let's just go in. Dr. Selena is waiting for us." she said, beckoning her head towards dr.Selena's office.
"Oh okay. I'm really sorry for being so late. You won't believe what happened." he said as he carried Starlene with one hand and dragged his suitcase with his other hand.
"Oh yeah. I know. You saved a child from a kidnapper didn't you?" Y/n stated.
"Yeah. I did. Guess the news travels fast." He chuckled.
"Indeed it does." She said with a hint of sarcasm, making him wonder what was going on with her but they were already in front of the doctor's office so he couldn't ask her again.
The door to the office was opened and a nurse stood in front of it.
"Hi Emily." Y/n greeted the nurse and the nurse smiled.
"Hi Y/n. Please come in." Emily said and she stepped back to allow them to come in.
"Good afternoon dr.Selena." Y/n greeted her and the doctor smiled at them.
"Ah, good afternoon Mrs and Mr Stan. It's lovely to see you both again." dr. Selena smiled warmly.
"And ooh, look who it is? Last time I saw you, you were just a tiny baby." dr. Selena smiled at Starlene who smiled shyly back at her.
"Yes, can't believe it's been almost two years now." Sebastian chuckled.
"I know. Time really flies doesn't it? Anyway, please sit down. What can I do for you today?" dr.Selena asked as they took seats in front of her.
"Umm.. first of all. I'm really sorry that we didn't come back to you before today. We decided to try water birth to deliver our second baby and we found out that we couldn't do it here." Y/n started to explain.
"Oh. That's fine Mrs.Stan. I know we don't have that facility here so it's great that you can find it somewhere else." dr. Selena smiled.
"I'm glad you think that, dr.Selena." Y/n replied.
"So, what can I do for you today?" dr.Selena asked again.
"Well. I'm currently 36 weeks pregnant. Earlier today I felt a contraction. A pressure at my lower back. At first I thought it was Braxton Hicks contraction but then it happened multiple times over the course of an hour. So, I decided to come here to get a check. The birthing center is in New Jersey and my husband was not here when the contraction happened so I decided to come here because it's closer to where we live." Y/n explained.
"Oh yes. You were all over the news Mr.Stan! Saving a kidnapped child in Atlanta huh? A real life hero." dr.Selena exclaimed and he chuckled. He glanced at Y/n and she was not smiling or laughing along, she had an icy expression on her face as she glanced back at him and that made him feel a little scared and wondering again what he did wrong.
"Anyway, have you felt any more contractions after that?" dr.Selena asked, turning her attention back to Y/n.
"No. It stopped before I came here." Y/n responded.
"Very well. Please come to the examination bed Mrs.Stan so we can check on you and the baby." dr.Selena said as she stood up and Y/n stood up too.
He watched as dr.Selena checked Y/n's cervix and did an ultrasound on her stomach. His eyes widened as he made out his baby's figure on the ultrasound screen.
"Well, you have no cervical dilation yet and it seems your baby is breech." dr.Selena said, pointing on the screen at the baby's bottom who was near the bottom of the uterus.
"Oh no. Is it still possible for the baby to turn into head first position?" Y/n asked.
"Yes, don't worry. Most babies will be positioned head first at 36-37 weeks. There are some exercises that you can do to help and some other methods you can try at home. But if by 37 weeks your baby is still breech, there's a procedure called ECV, External Cephalic Version, where we try to turn the baby from the outside." dr.Selena replied.
"Oh okay." Y/n nodded.
"Are there any risks associated with the procedure, doctor?" Sebastian asked.
"Yes, there are small risks of early onset labor, premature rupture of the membranes, minor blood loss for either the baby or the mother and fetal distress that could lead to an emergency C-section." dr.Selena replied as she put the ultrasound's transducer away. He was horrified as he listened at the risks and it seemed dr.Selena caught up on that.
"Don't worry Mr.Stan. Considering the weight of your baby and the adequate amount of amniotic fluid surrounding your baby, there is still a high chance of your baby to turn on its own naturally." dr.Selena replied as she returned to sit in front of him while Emily the nurse helped clean Y/n's stomach from the ultrasound gel.
"Okay. Thank you doctor. So, back to the main question. Is she in labor?" Sebastian asked.
"As far as I can see, no. It seemed it was Braxton Hicks contraction that you experienced Mrs.Stan." dr. Selena said, referring to the mild and irregular practice contractions that could happen during pregnancy that doesn't signify actual labor.
"Oh okay. That's a relief." Y/n finally smiled as she sat next to him and he couldn't help but smile too. But her face turned cold again as she glanced at him, his heart plummeted at the sight.
"Why is it a relief, Mrs.Stan? If you don't mind me asking?" dr.Selena asked curiously.
"Well, we're supposed to attend our friend's wedding tomorrow in The Catskills, so it's a relief that I'm not in labor yet." Y/n explained.
"I see. In any case, since your due date is near I would advise for you to have a plan in case you go into labor at your friend's wedding. Especially if you're going to spend the night in The Catskills. I mean, it's far from New Jersey." dr.Selena said.
"Yes, the venue is about two to three hours away from the birthing center." Y/n responded.
"I see. All the more reason to be prepared." dr.Selena said.
"Of course, doctor. We'll make sure to be prepared." Sebastian said.
"Good." dr.Selena smiled and she continued to advise them on what they could do at home to help turn their baby to the correct position. She mentioned some form of exercise, music and other methods. Some sounded weird but others seemed to make sense. There was one thing he thought he read somewhere that could help but he was too embarrassed to ask about it and decided to Google it later.
"I'm sorry doctor, does sex help in turning the baby?" Y/n asked, startling him. Apparently she had the same thought as he was. He glanced at her and gave her a side smile but her face remained cold making him question again what was wrong.
"Well, there is no scientific evidence that it helps. Just as there is no scientific evidence that listening to music and putting something cold and warm on your stomach helps. But as long as you don't have any vaginal bleeding, I think it's something that you can try." dr.Selena advised.
"Alright, thank you doctor." Y/n nodded.
"Remember to come and have another ultrasound next week, here or at the birthing center. If your baby is still breech, you might want to consider having ECV or C-section for delivery." dr.Selena reminded them.
"Very well, doctor. Thank you." Y/n nodded.
"Is there anything else I can help you with?" dr.Selena asked.
"No, doctor. Thank you so much." Y/n responded.
"Thank you, doctor." Sebastian said.
"You're very welcome Mrs. and Mr.Stan." dr.Selena smiled.
"So.. do you think you want to try and have sex tonight?" Sebastian asked as soon as they were out of dr.Selena's office.
"Is that all you can think about?" Y/n replied, her voice a little high.
"Honey.. what's wrong? Why are you mad at me?" He finally asked the question he had been dying to ask since they met that day.
"I don't want to talk about it here. Besides, we need to get going if we want to make it to Chad's rehearsal dinner tonight." She reminded him.
"Oh, right." He said, glancing at his watch. It was almost 6 pm, they were surely going to be late as the dinner starts in an hour.
It was quite a miracle that one and a half hours later they were already in their car, heading towards Plattekill Wedding Venue in Roxbury. Sebastian had called Chad earlier explaining their situation and Chad was thankfully quite understanding. He assumed they would arrive at the venue quite late so Chad directed him to go straight to a house that he had rented in Roxbury for them to stay over that night. The wedding ceremony was going to be held the next morning at 10 am and Chad had rented several houses around the venue for all the guests to stay at.
Sebastian glanced at Y/n who was sitting in the front passenger seat, her expression still cold. He sighed and glanced at the rear view mirror. Starlene was sitting in her car seat right behind him while Lucky sat next to her. They decided to bring Lucky because they couldn't find anyone to help watch over him. All of his and her friends were going to be at the wedding and they couldn't possibly leave him alone at their apartment.
Lucky was quiet while Starlene had an iPad in her hand and was busy watching YouTube. He decided to ask Y/n again on why she was angry at him. He couldn't stand seeing her so cold to him like that.
"Honey.." he slowly said, his heart rate increased a little.
"Hmm?" She responded.
"Did I do something wrong?" He asked gently.
She sighed and didn't answer immediately.
"I can't stand seeing you so cold to me like this." He said as he slowly reached out to pick her hand up.
"I've missed you, sweetheart." He said, kissing her hand gently. He was glad she allowed him to do that but his heart plummeted as she pulled her hand away.
"I did too, Seb. Until I saw this." She said as she pulled her cellphone out and started swiping on the screen.
"You have some explaining to do." She demanded as she showed her cellphone screen to him.
"Let me pull over for a bit." He said. They were not on the highway yet and he saw a gas station up ahead. He decided to stop there. He glanced at the fuel meter and realized they also needed to refuel.
He pulled over right after the entrance to the gas station then turned towards her.
"Let me see." He said as he extended his hand to her and she gave him her cellphone.
There on the screen he could see footage of him at the Atlanta airport, talking to the airline staff who had asked for his autograph. He shook his head in disbelief. Someone had taken a video of him talking to the staff. It also showed how they went behind the counter in front of the gate and emerged minutes later to an angry Delta staff. The caption written on the video made his blood boil.
"Sebastian Stan caught cheating with an airline crew!"
"Oh my God! I can't believe this." He protested.
"Is it true?!" She asked, her voice raised.
"Honey.. of course it's not true! How could you think that? I would never cheat on you! You know that." He pleaded.
"Well then, explain to me what that is!" She demanded, gesturing towards her cellphone.
Sebastian sighed. "The airline staff was a fan. She wanted me to sign the back of her neck. I thought it would look rather weird if I did it in public. It would have raised some questions so I suggested doing it behind the counter. I didn't think anyone saw it."
"She wanted you to sign behind her neck?" She asked in disbelief.
"Yes! She wanted to get it tattooed, like that fake tattoo I got for Monday." He explained.
"That's all that happened?" She asked.
"Yes! I have her phone number. You can call her yourself if you don't believe me." He said but as soon as he said it regretted it. Y/n's eyebrows furrowed in annoyance again upon hearing him saying it.
"Why do you have her phone number?" She asked coldly.
"I.. I offered her tickets to Thunderbolts premiere and I need her number to arrange for that."
"And why did you offer her tickets to Thunderbolts premiere?" She asked, the crease on her eyebrows got even deeper.
"Because I had lied earlier to the other airline staff telling them that you were in labor but when I talked to her I.. umm.. I forgot about that lie and told her you were not in labor. So I basically bribed her so she wouldn't tell anyone else that I lied."
She stared at him for a moment with no reaction on her face, making his heart beat faster in anticipation. Then slowly her expression became more relaxed and he breathed a sigh of relief.
"Ooh Seb. You lied about me being in labor?" She asked, shaking her head.
"Yeah.. yeah I did." He said, grimacing.
"Maybe that's why I had the Braxton Hicks contractions. Your lie manifested." She pointed out.
"I'm sorry sweetheart. I just wanted to get here as soon as I could. At the time it seemed like a good idea to tell people that your wife is in labor in order to speed things up, you know." He explained sheepishly.
"Well, it didn't help at all, did it?" She said and he couldn't help but agree to it.
"I'm sorry, sweetheart." He said again as he returned her cellphone to her and placed his hands on the sides of her face.
"You know you're the only woman for me. My heart belongs only to you. Please never doubt that, sweetheart." He said as he gazed at her intently, trying to convey his love to her through his gentle gaze.
She gazed back at him and smiled slowly. He breathed a sigh of relief as he saw the love again in her eyes.
"I love you." He said with all his heart.
"I love you too, Iubirea mea." She smiled and he smiled back.
He stroked her cheeks gently with his thumb and slowly leaned in to plant a gentle kiss on her lips. Home. He finally felt like he was home. Butterflies flew around in his stomach as they continued to kiss and forget about everything around them.
"Daddy.. I want a kiss too." Starlene suddenly chimed up and they broke apart, laughing.
"Well, I'll give you a kiss later okay? It's hard to turn around to reach you in this position." Sebastian said, turning his head to face Starlene.
"Okay." Starlene said happily and she returned her attention back to her iPad, making them both smile.
"So. Anyway. Do you want to try to have sex tonight?" He asked as he drove the car closer to the fuel dispensers. Kissing her earlier woke up the desire in him and he couldn't help but imagine making love to her.
"Seb. I don't know. Aren't you tired? Besides, remember the last time we had sex while I was 37 weeks pregnant with her?" She asked, pointing her thumb back at Starlene.
"I remember. That was amazing sex and it brought our star out into the world." He winked and she smiled. Indeed, Starlene's birth was induced by their love making. He wasn't sure if it was a coincidence but she was right to be concerned about it.
"Exactly. I don't want to induce labor while we're away in the mountains far from the birthing center." She said and he nodded.
"Okay, honey. Maybe we can try and do it after we get back from Chad's wedding. I mean, you do want the baby to turn, right?" He asked.
"Of course! I don't want to end up having a C-section if I could." She replied.
"Okay." He nodded.
He stopped the car right next to a fuel dispenser and got out of the car. A cold breeze entered the car and he felt something cold dropped on his nose.
"Mommy, daddy, snow!" Starlene pointed out towards the sky.
"Oh yeah, it is snowing. Beautiful isn't it?" Y/n responded.
Soft snow had started to fall from the sky, specks of white layered the ground and parts of their car.
Sebastian picked up the fuel nozzle and put it into the car's fuel tank inlet. He rubbed his hands as it felt really cold and vapor had started to come out from his nose.
As he waited for the gas tank to fill he remembered the weather forecast he listened to earlier in the taxi. Looks like it was correct. It really started to snow that night.
A sudden gust of cold strong wind suddenly passed him and he shivered. Snow started to fall even harder on them. He checked the fuel meter on the fuel dispenser and decided it was enough. He immediately pulled out the fuel nozzle, returned it to its place and closed the fuel cap. He opened the door of the car and welcomed the warm breeze coming out of it as he sat down and closed the car door shut. The radio was on as he started to drive the car out of the gas station and he turned the windshield wiper on.
"And now for some updates on the weather forecast. As forecasted, New York City, New Jersey and the surrounding area are experiencing snow fall tonight. Moderate to strong snow storm is expected to arrive starting Saturday morning and will clear up by Sunday. It is highly advised to stay indoors during this time." a female weather forecaster announced on the radio.
"Snow storm tomorrow morning? That's not good." Sebastian shook his head.
"I know. Poor Chad and Madeline. Aren't their ceremony supposed to be held outdoors?" She asked.
"Yeah. Up on the mountains." He sighed.
"Do you want to give him a call?" She asked.
"Chad? No, I'm sure he's busy with the rehearsal dinner. And I'm sure they have a back up plan should a snow storm really happen." He responded.
"Okay." She nodded.
It was 8 when they finally left New York City and headed into the suburbs. Snow continued to fall throughout their journey. Coupled with the fact that it was night time, at times he found it hard to see the road. So he drove slowly and avoided going too fast.
Throughout the journey he told Y/n about his adventure earlier rescuing Adriana as well as the anxiety-inducing incident on the plane that caused the oxygen masks to drop.
"Wow. That must have been really scary." She commented.
"Yeah, it was. I kept thinking about you, Starlene and little bean." He said as he reached out to pat her bulging stomach.
"I wasn't ready to die. I didn't want to miss seeing both of my kids grow up. You know." he said as he felt her warm hand on top of his and felt her squeezing it gently.
"Well, I'm so glad you're here now, Iubirea mea." She turned to him and smiled.
"I'm so glad too, honey." He glanced at her and smiled.
"Hmm.." Y/n shifted in her seat and rubbed her stomach.
"What is it, honey?"
"I think.. wait.. yeah.. I'm having contractions again." she said and his heart seemed to stop.
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah.. but it's okay. Keep going. It's probably another false alarm."
"Honey, are you sure?"
"Yeah yeah. Keep going. Let's just see how long this one lasts and how often."
"Okay. We're about two hours away from the house Chad rented. We can still make a turn and go south to Morristown." He said as he glanced at the satnav.
The birthing center they had decided to go to for the birth of their baby was at Morristown, New Jersey, southwest of New York City while Chad's wedding venue was located northwest of New York City.
"Yeah, okay. Just keep going, Iubirea mea." she said and he nodded.
The contractions came again several times in the next hour but it came sporadically. It didn't seem to hurt too much either. By the time they entered Roxbury two hours later it had completely stopped. So they concluded it was another Braxton Hicks contraction.
"Sweetheart, maybe you're just dehydrated. I read Braxton Hicks can happen because of dehydration." He said as he drove his car to the small street where the house Chad rented was located.
"Yeah, maybe. I was kind of tired too today. These two have been testing my patience to the limit." She said, pointing her thumb at the backseat and he laughed.
"They are quite a troublesome duo huh?" He commented.
"That's an understatement." she sighed and he laughed again.
"Well, I'm going to fully help you now until the baby is born and for at least three months after that. So don't worry about it, okay?" He said, reaching out to squeeze her hand.
"Yeah. Thank you, Iubirea mea." She squeezed his hand back and smiled at him.
"You're very welcome, my love." he smiled back and she blushed. He loved seeing her blush. She always looked so pretty when she did, making his heart warm.
"So, here we are." He said, turning his attention back to the street and stopped right in front of a house behind a long wooden fence. Another car was parked behind the fence right on the driveway, it was Chad's car.
He pulled out his cellphone and dialed Chad's number.
"Hey Chad. We're here." He said into his cellphone moments later.
"Okay. I'll be right out." Chad replied.
"Okay. Thanks." He nodded then hung up.
The front door of the house was opened and Chad came out, waving his hand and smiling at them. He opened the wooden fence and Sebastian drove the car into the driveway and parked next to Chad's car.
"Hey man, so glad to see you finally make it here." Chad shook his hand and gave him a brief hug as soon as he got out of the car.
"Yeah, I'm so glad too! It's been an adventure trying to get here." he chuckled.
"Oh yeah! I saw you on the news! You're a real life hero huh?" Chad commented and he just laughed.
"Come, come in, I've set up the fireplace." Chad said and he guided them all to enter the house.
The house, well, more like the cottage, was a two story cottage with wooden walls and floors. It had a rustic charm with a red and green color scheme in the interior making it feel like it was Christmas. It consisted of a warm and homey living room, well equipped kitchen, spacious bathroom with a bath and two bedrooms fit for four people.
With help from Chad, he put all their luggage in the cottage while Starlene, Y/n and Lucky went inside and settled in.
By the time they were done putting all the luggages in the cottage, snow had fallen even harder that it was more than likely a snow storm was coming.
"So, seeing how the weather is like, any change of plans for tomorrow?" Sebastian asked as they sat on the sofa in the living room.
"Yeah, we were supposed to have the ceremony in the morning up on the mountains but if it's not possible, we're just going to have the ceremony indoors in the reception building." Chad replied.
"Okay. Sounds like a good plan." He nodded.
"Yeah. I just hope the road will still be accessible. There's a shovel in the garage by the way in case you need to use it in the morning." Chad said.
"Okay. Thanks. Where are you and Madeline staying by the way?"
"Oh, we rented a large house about a quarter mile from the venue. All her family and my family are staying there." Chad replied.
"Okay. You're not staying in the same room as her are you?"
"Of course not!" Chad laughed. "You know she's a wedding planner. She knows all the dos and don'ts and all the superstitions about weddings. It's kind of frustrating at times, but I know she means well."
"Yeah. Based on my own experience, you should follow through with it." He responded, remembering the disastrous events happening during his wedding and honeymoon.
"Yeah, I'm trying my best. Anyway, it's kind of late, I better get going." Chad said and he stood up.
"Alright, see you in the morning, man. Try and get some sleep." He stood up and gave Chad a brief hug.
"Thanks, man. See you." Chad smiled and clapped his back.
Once Chad was gone he looked around and found Lucky, sleeping on a rug in front of the fireplace. He went into one of the bedrooms and found Starlene already tucked in bed, sleeping soundly. He walked closer to her, leaned over and gently kissed her forehead. She shifted a little but didn't wake up. It seemed she was really tired. He caressed her head gently and smiled, thankful he was still alive after the eventful journey from Atlanta and was able to see his daughter again.
A warm hand surrounded his waist and he was startled. He looked to the side and found Y/n, standing next to him and circling her arm around his waist.
"She looks so peaceful and innocent." She commented and he nodded as he placed his arm around her shoulder and squeezed it.
"But it all changes when she wakes up." she complained, making him laugh.
"How did she find those toilet papers?" He asked, remembering the mess Starlene and Lucky had made earlier that day in their apartment.
"Well, you know I keep the toilet papers in the lower cupboard in the bathroom. She found them." she sighed.
"She's a smart girl." he chuckled.
"Yeah. I moved them to another cupboard and locked it."
"Okay, I guess we need to inspect everything else that is within her reach. Especially things like detergent, soap, drugs and things like that and then move them somewhere she can't reach." He suggested.
"Yeah. I already did. Spent the day today doing that before the contraction happened." she replied.
"Hey, maybe that's the cause of the false contraction. You know tiredness can cause that, aside from dehydration."
"You know what, you're right. Maybe I was too tired." she sighed.
"Let's get to bed then. I'm tired too. It's been such a long day." he suggested.
"Okay." She nodded and they went to the other bedroom hand in hand.
Despite feeling tired, being in close proximity with her made his desire arise. He knew it wasn't really the longest time that they hadn't made love. They survived three months without seeing each other right before their wedding so theoretically they should survive just two weeks without seeing each other. But being close to her that night on the bed and seeing her beautiful face sleeping next to him inevitably made him turned on. She truly was the only woman who could make him feel this way.
She was sleeping on her right side facing him and he laid down on his left facing her too. He glanced down and saw her cleavage underneath her nightgown and he swallowed hard.
"Honey.. wake up." He whispered.
"Hmm.. what is it?" her eyes slowly fluttered open and she looked up at him curiously.
"I.. umm.. I'm really sorry sweetheart. I know you're tired but I'm still feeling kind of tense, if you know what I mean." He said, his eyes went downwards where he could feel himself starting to harden down there.
"Oh Seb, you know I don't want to induce labor up here in the mountains." She protested, her eyebrows furrowed in annoyance.
"I know.. I'm sorry. But maybe you could just.. you know." He said, blushing again as he raised his hand up and realization dawned in her.
"Please.." He said, giving her puppy dog eyes and she couldn't help but laugh.
"Fine, come here you big puppy." She said as she pulled his head by the neck and started kissing him passionately. He smiled as they kissed and soon was lost in the act of love and passion.
Before they knew it they ended up making love that night, expressing all the love and lust they always had for each other for the past twenty three years. He felt really lucky to be married to her. There was nothing else better than feeling completely in love with your significant other all the time. He knew it was something rare in the world having his fair share of heartbreaks, so he treasured it as much as he could.
"I love you so much, my love, my queen." He whispered as he held her tight after they reached the peak of pleasure together.
"I love you so much too, Iubirea mea." She whispered back and her arms held him tight.
For a moment he felt at peace as they continued to hold each other, unwilling to let the other go. Then he felt her tensed under his arms.
"D**n!" She cursed as she let go of him and held her bulging stomach.
"Sweetheart, what is it?" He asked in concern.
"I think.. I think the baby had turned." She said, her eyes scrunched up in pain.
"Oh really? That's great then." He smiled.
"Yeah. I usually feel it kick my bladder but this time I feel the kick on my ribs." She explained.
"Well, that's great. No need to do the ECV procedure then."
"Yeah. Thank God."
"Are you still in pain?"
"No, but.. d**n!" She exclaimed out loud as she held her lower back with her hand.
"Another contraction?" He asked in concern.
"Yup." She sighed as she rubbed her lower back.
"Okay. Here, let me help rub your back and we'll see what happens." He said as he reached his hand around her and started to gently rub her back.
"Thank you Iubirea mea. That feels good." She smiled.
"You're welcome, honey." He said as he kissed her forehead gently.
For the next hour the contraction kept on coming and it became even closer together. There was no doubt that Y/n could really be in labor. So they called their midwive from the birthing center in Morristown to ask for her advice. After listening to her advice, which was to monitor the contraction again within the next hour, they concluded that she could really be in labor.
"Seb, it's snowing really hard out there. Are you sure about this?" She asked as they prepared to go to Morristown.
"But honey, you could really be in labor. You need to get to the birthing center. At least to get yourself checked." He reasoned.
"Yeah.. but maybe we could at least wait until the sun is out. I mean, you could hardly see out there with all the snow."
"Sweetheart, are you sure? What if the baby comes out here before we get the chance to get to the birthing center."
"Seb, do you remember how long it took for Starlene to come out after I first felt the contraction?"
"Yeah, I remember." He sighed. It took twenty nine hours for Starlene to come out since Y/n started to feel the contraction.
"So I think it's much safer to wait until morning."
"Well. Okay. If you're sure."
"I am sure." she insisted and he could only nod.
However her feelings changed within the next three hours. The contractions came much more often and much closer together and it had become rather painful that she finally agreed to go to the birthing center.
It was 4 in the morning when they got out of the house and drove to Morristown. Starlene and Lucky were both woken up from their sleep and were forced to come because they didn't want to bother their friends and asked them to take care of Starlene and Lucky.
Unfortunately, the snow storm had started as Sebastian drove the car slowly down the mountain. On his right Y/n was grunting and trying hard to withstand the pain while in front of him fierce wind blew snow onto the front window, obscuring his view. The sun wouldn't come out until a few hours from now and he didn't dare to speed up with the dangerous condition.
"Seb! Why are you driving so slowly?!" Y/n asked in between contractions.
"Honey, I can barely see! I don't want to get us into an accident!" He protested.
"But the baby is coming, Seb!" She protested.
"I know, honey. I know. I'm driving as fast as I can, okay? Hang in there." he said as he reached out and placed his hand on her stomach.
Y/n didn't answer him and instead she resorted to using the hypnobirthing method to try and ease the pain.
"That's it, honey. That's it. You're doing great." He said, trying to calm her down even though deep down he felt extremely nervous.
"Aaarghhh.." Y/n exclaimed in pain prompting Lucky to bark and Starlene to start crying.
"Oh dear." Sebastian sighed as he listened to all of them.
"Starlene, dear, please don't cry. It's okay. Mommy is okay. Your sibling is about to be born. You should be happy." He said as he looked at the rear view mirror and saw Starlene still crying her heart out.
Among all the loud voices he suddenly heard a rumbling sound coming from above them.
"What the h**l." He looked up and his heart beat so fast in his chest as he saw the massive body of snow coming at them from above the mountain.
"Seb.. it's an avalanche!" Y/n shouted in panic.
"I know!" He said as he stepped on the gas and tried to avoid the avalanche.
The rumbling sound felt so close to him that for a split second he was sure they were all going to be buried underneath it. But he suddenly realized they were on a straight road now for several miles up ahead and decided to speed up even more.
"Hang on, honey!" He yelled as he stepped on the gas and the car sped up quickly on the road. The ground shook as the avalanche finally reached the ground behind them missing them by inches.
"That was so close!" He exclaimed as he glanced back for a second and saw the large pile of snow behind him.
"Oh no.. no.. no.." Y/n suddenly said out loud.
"What? What is it, honey?" He asked, his heart still racing after their near death experience.
"I think my water just broke!" She replied and his heart plummeted. He glanced at the satnav and saw that they were still one and a half hours away from the birthing center.
"What should we do?" He asked as his brain tried to remember anything from the birthing classes he had attended or the numerous pregnancy books and articles he had read.
"I don't know! Aaarghhh! The baby is coming, Seb! I can feel it!" She shouted, making him feel even more panicked.
"Hang in there, honey. Try to raise your feet up." He said as he remembered something he read in a pregnancy book on what to do when the water broke.
"I can't!" She protested and he realized that the space on the front passenger seat was too narrow for her to be able to raise her feet up.
"This is all your fault! Aaarghh..!" She protested as he continued to drive, not knowing what else to do.
"If only you didn't ask me to have sex earlier, I wouldn't be in labor now!" She continued angrily and he couldn't help but feel guilty.
"I'm sorry, honey. I really am." He said, glancing at her for a second and felt his heart break seeing her in so much pain.
"I'm trying to drive as fast as I can. Please hang in there, honey." He pleaded.
She didn't respond and when he glanced at her again she was reaching down, her hand trying to reach under her nightgown.
"Seb.." she said slowly.
"What?" He asked, dreading her next sentences.
"I can feel the baby's head.." she responded.
"Are you sure?" He asked.
"Yes! I can feel his head and his hair!"
"Oh dear.." he didn't know what else to say.
"Seb, stop the car! Help me deliver the baby!" She shouted, startling him.
"But.. but.. I can't!" He protested.
"Aaaarghhh.. I'm pushing now! I can't hold it anymore!" She shouted again.
"No honey, hold it! Don't push now!"
"Seb! God d**n it! Just stop the car and help me deliver the baby!" She shouted and he had no choice but to obey.
He pulled over and stopped the car on the side of the road. He unbuckled his seatbelt and got out of the car. Cold breeze hit his face as he ran to the other side of the car. He opened the back passenger door and encouraged Lucky to go to the back of the car. Then he helped Y/n to push the backrest of her seat so she could lie down.
She raised her feet up and he knelt on the ground next to her then helped pull her underwear down and that's when he saw it, the top of his baby's head. He felt dizzy as he saw it. He couldn't believe he was going to help his wife deliver their baby in the car in the middle of nowhere during a snowstorm no less!
"Seb! I'm pushing!" She exclaimed and he nodded.
"Okay.. you can do it, honey. Push!" He held her hand and encouraged her as she started to push, her eyes scrunched up in pain.
Slowly he could see the head of his baby came out even more, but when half of it came out, she stopped pushing.
"I can't.. " she complained as she tried to catch her breath.
"Okay, it's fine. Take a breather. Wait until the next round of contraction comes. Then you push again, okay? You can do it, sweetheart, I know you can." He said as he caressed the side of her face and she nodded.
"Good, that's it sweetheart, take a deep breath." He said as he stood up and kissed her forehead.
"Daddy.. is mommy okay?" Starlene chimed in and he smiled.
"Yes, your mommy is giving birth to your sibling, Starlene. Soon you'll have someone to play with." He smiled and Starlene just nodded.
"Seb! He's coming!" Y/n shouted.
"Okay, okay. Take a deep breath. That's it. Now push!" He said as he knelt again beside her and watched the head of his baby come out even more.
Several more pushes from her and their baby's head finally came out fully. He gently pulled the baby all out from her womb and the baby started crying. He immediately took off his jacket and covered him with it. Yes, their baby was indeed a baby boy.
He looked down and gently cleaned the baby's face and head with some tissues. He couldn't help but shed a tear as he continued to clean the baby. He couldn't believe they successfully delivered him out into the world amidst an unbelievable situation.
"Seb.. I want to see him." Y/n reached out her hand and he immediately put the baby in her arms.
"You did amazing, sweetheart. He's perfect." He smiled and he kissed her forehead again.
"He is. He looks just like you." She smiled as she carried the baby and gently rocked him.
"What should we name him?" She asked.
"I know the perfect name. James Adrian Stan. James after James Buchanan Barnes, the strongest man I know and Adrian after Adriana, the bravest girl I know." He smiled.
"James Adrian Stan. It's perfect." She smiled.
"Come and meet your new baby brother, Starlene." He said as he went to the backseat and took Starlene off from her car seat.
Starlene stood in the middle of the car and looked down.
"My brother." She said, extending her hand towards the baby.
"Yes, Starlene, this is Adrian. Adrian, this is Starlene." Sebastian said, smiling as he saw Starlene extended her index finger and Adrian caught it between his hands. He felt his heart warm as he witnessed their children's interaction and felt immense gratitude.
He opened his arms wide and embraced them all in his arms. Despite the extraordinary circumstances, he was elated and happy to welcome their baby boy into the world. He was sure there would be more happiness and adventures up ahead and as long as he had his perfect family with him, he was ready for whatever comes their way.
Hello I was tagged by a lot of people for wip Wednesday thank you @devirnis @rogerzsteven @wildlife4life @rewritetheending @homerforsure @jeeyuns! Now. Are you all going to kill me with hammers if I say that when I sat down this morning to work on literally any of the many wips I have open, I instead wrote a short drabble set in the future of ER nurse Eddie au? Well. Here you go!
Warnings for alcohol and some mostly glossed over nsfw content
Was listening to this song on repeat while writing
"Your sister isn't, like, a secret Olympian is she?"
"Well, if it's secret enough, why would I know? Thank you." That second part Eddie aims at Adriana as she hands him a drink. He assumes she's not the athlete in question. "Why?"
"There's nets a little down the way, I asked if she wanted to play some volleyball and she got, like, this look on her face."
Eddie very carefully tries not to also get a look on his face, and somewhere to his left Adriana stirs the margarita mix a little harder to mask a tiny laugh. "Oh. Well I'm sure that's fine."
Buck smiles at him in a studious sort of way, tongue in the side of his mouth. "Now, I wouldn't be getting tricked in some way, would I?"
"Mm?" Eddie responds, neutrally.
"Or, perhaps, fooled?"
"Hm." He takes a sip of his drink.
Buck steps closer, looming over him, grin growing into something wide and conspiratorial. âHoodwinked, maybe?â
âI donât know what youâre talking about,â Eddie says, aiming for lofty but landing somewhere around embarrassingly giddy as Buck kisses him once, twice. âNo all state varsity girls softball champions in my family. Sophia has never in her life accidentally broken anybodyâs arm with how fast her spike is.â
âJesus,â Buck laughs, puffs of air against Eddieâs skin. âYouâre just gonna let me go out there and face possible bodily harm?â
âHer aim has improved.â
He laughs, and pulls Eddie in for another kiss. There's sand in Buck's hair, but there aren't many places sand isn't in this Air BNB up the coast with a backyard that opens right onto the dunes. They'd only got there yesterday and already the grit is under Eddie's nails, dragged across his skin, in his clothes and bedsheets. Itâs an abrasive sort of dirtiness that Eddie doesnât really mind, he feels like heâll come home at the end of the weekend scrubbed clean by it, but heâd wondered, worried, that being so close to the beach for so long might make old fears rise up in Chris or Buck. Theyâd both tossed themselves right into the waves with the cousins all day long, though, and had gone out to do so again today, and it was only very late at night that Buck admitted in a whisper that itâs not the feeling of the water or the sand, but the endless roar of the tide when the rest of the world was quiet that left him feeling helpless and awake. Eddie had reached out for his hand, and theyâd fucked slowly and silently, surrounded by thin walls in a house full of people, and the heady thrill of restraint had his hands and legs and everything shaking by the time heâd come. Buck â and Eddie is not not smug about this â had slept soundly the rest of the night.
Anyway. They kiss in the kitchen until Adriana stirs the pitcher with even louder, more pointed clanging. Buck pulls back first. âYou wanna come play on my team?â
âNo,â Eddie says, making a face that has Buck laughing again. âIâm staying in the shade and drinking margaritas.â He clanks the ice around his beverage in demonstration.
âGreat plan,â Buck says, stealing a small sip. Eddie feels like he should say something about sobriety and childcare, but theyâre on vacation and Sophia is out there and responsibly dry even if she may or may not be planning sports related manslaughter.
âIâll meet you out there later.â
âOkay,â Bucks says, kissing his cheek. âI was a lifeguard for a few weeks once, so if you get really drunk and fall in the sea Iâll come fish you out.â
âMy hero,â Eddie salutes him with the glass. Buck is several feet away into the sand when Eddie blinks and calls out. âHey- wait, Buck! Wait!â Eddie grabs the sunscreen off the counter and follows a few feet off the porch. âMi vida, wait,â he laughs the words as Buck skids to a clumsy turn and stumbles back to him. Eddie holds up the sunscreen. âCome on, donât get lobstered, I wonât rub aloe on you later.â
Buck takes the bottle and applies a quick but generous layer. âI think you would,â he says quietly, voice and mouth curved all sly.
âMm,â Eddie says again, neutrally, making steady eye contact as he accepts the bottle back and takes a sip of his drink slow enough that the alcohol burns in his mouth. Buck lets out one last huff of a laugh, kisses his cheek again, and marches off towards certain doom.
Eddie retreats back into the shade, with the drinks.
Adriana, at the counter, is staring at him.
âWhat?â Eddie absolutely does not hide behind his glass.
âMi vida?â She asks, face tipped more towards surprised than teasing. âSo itâs serious.â
Fuck. Eddie regrets saying it in front of someone who understands the words. Not the language but the context, what it might mean for Eddie to admit to thinking of a relationship in that way. Someone who knew him, during Shannon and the mess that came after, and after again. Someone who knows him, knows what a fearful man he grew into, knows the protective armor he forges out of carefully kept distance. Eddie was never good at commitment, and has learned to be perpetually frightened of the word forever because he's become intimately familiar with how quickly it can be ripped away. Mi vida, my life. It's terribly revealing. What a promise, what an act of trust. Buck, my life. He'd said it so easily, and staring back at his youngest sister now he doesn't think he can convincingly deny any conclusions she's drawing.
So. "Yes," he says, finishing his drink and holding out the glass for another. "I⊠it's serious." Gulp, gulp. âHe⊠itâs serious.â
She nods, eyebrows raised all the way up, sipping her own drink. âI mean, clearly youâre all over each other, but I thought it was because heâs, like, tall and hot-â
âUgh.â
âBut likeâŠâ her glass tips towards him, liquid dangerously close to spilling. âYouâre for real. Are you going to marry this man?â
Jesus. âJesus, Ri.â Christ. Eddie finishes this drink, too. âI donât- I donât know. I canât even think about that. I donât know.â
âOkay, well, not marriage then,â she waves one hand to brush away the concept, while the other hand pours him another drink. âBut like⊠You love him.â
Yes. He does, down to his bones he does, all consuming in a way he sometimes forgets to be scared of because itâs Buck, who makes it easy. He loves him, and has loved him, probably, heâll admit it because of the two margaritas, since he was a stranger that once held his hand whoâd pulled his son from a tsunami. Itâs only been a year since theyâd shared a cigarette and gone home together, but Eddie hardly needed any of that time to know the terrifying scale of this, the youâre it for me of it. Heâd known, probably, two margaritas, since that first morning in the same bed. âI love him.â
It comes out awful and whispery and it makes Adriana move around the bar to wrap her arms around him. He leans his head on hers, lets himself be comforted in a way he wouldnât have in his fatherâs house when they were young and there wasnât really space for them to be friends around the roles of protector and protected theyâd been slotted into. She smells like sunscreen and salt and limes, and is lovely and warm.
âYou seem a lot happier,â she says quietly into his shoulder. âWe- I donât know. I was worried about you.â She leans back, knocks his arm with her knuckles. âSo far away.â He doesnât think sheâs talking about the distance between California and Texas. âBut he makes you, like⊠happy and goofy. Itâs been a long time.â
He doesnât point out that theyâre on vacation, and itâs summer, and it isnât always like this; that sometimes their sharp edges fit together wrong and there's a lot of horrible grinding sounds until they align again. But. "He makes me feel safe."
Her eyes glisten a little at the implication that a lot of the time he doesn't. "I'm glad you found each other."
Eddie smiles, genuinely, despite the circumstances of the finding. "Me too."
She knocks back her drink. "Are you going to tell mom and dad?"
"God." He scrubs a hand over his face, and then back through his hair for good measure. A year ago the answer had been a firm no. Texas was far away, he could live a whole life out here exactly as he wanted it and answer to no one. But Buck and Pepa go to bridge, now, and Buck is here on this Diaz Siblings trip when no other partners are because his sisters wanted to meet him, and the cousins all adore him, and Texas is far away but it's where Isabel lives now and Eddie knows- hopes- knows that she would love him, too. And he's taught himself fear for so long that he can't imagine it going any way but badly, but maybe he owes Ramon and Helena the chance to see his whole life and be happy for him, with him. "Maybe. I think⊠yeah, maybe."
She hugs him again, tight, and then puts her hands on her hips. "You know you still have us as backup. We won't let them be shitty."
He laughs. "I don't know if you can let them do anything."
"Mm," she says, moving to fill her glass again. "Me and Sophia are in possession of more grandchildren than you, that's a lot of leverage."
"Hey, I have Chris, quality over quantity," he grins and then dodges the drops of margarita she flicks at him.
"Fucker. Offer rescinded, I won't forbid them from seeing the kids if they don't immediately put up a pride flag."
He snorts, but he can feel his smile twisting sideways. "Adriana. I don't want you to fuck up your relationship with them for me."
"You think you have exclusive rights to childhood trauma in the Diaz family?" She shrugs, takes a drink, and then shrugs again a little sadder. "It's⊠it can be easier to stand up for someone else."
He takes a steadying breath against the regret of only being there for his sisters in some ways and not others, and nods, and holds a hand across the bar for her to take. "Here's to ruining Christmas," he says, glass in the air. They drink.
"You wanna go watch your boy get destroyed in the fine arena of weirdly competitive vacation volleyball?" She asks, setting her empty glass down.
He sets his next to hers, and contemplates just how clumsily he's about to go stumbling across the sand from all that rapidly digested tequila. "Sure." Buck will be too busy fighting for his life out there to notice him looking foolish. Though, and he can blame the sappy smile on the third margarita, he thinks Buck would still, always, catch him if he fell. âItâs so sad that Iâll have to tell them that I had a boyfriend who tragically died because Sophia spiked him into the earthâs core.â
She laughs, and they hook their arms together, and walk out into the sun.
Short: Portland - Adriana Leon x Reader
Summary: a short fic about Dri being loaned to Portland
A/N: I wrote this weeks ago for an anon request and in true me fashion, I forgot about it. And there are like no Adriana Leon gifs on this site which is odd.
Youâre not shocked by the news.
You had already known it was going to happen, you and Adriana had been discussing it a few weeks ago.
You knew it was going to happen but having Evie read it out to you while you were giving someone made it feel real.
â@LeonAdriana9 will spend the remainder of 2022/23 on loan at Portland Thorns,â the receptionist reads, standing in the entrance of your booth. âDid you know about this?â
âYup.â
âAnd you didnât tell me?â âDidnât know I needed to,â you respond, attention still on the tattoo in front of you. âYou still doing good, bro,â you ask the client.
Getting a nod in the affirmative, you continue your task, no longer paying any attention to Evie or the way sheâs glaring at you.
âYouâre insufferable.â
âThank you.â
Yourfriend and coworker stands and stares at you for a moment longer before she shakes her head and leaves, giving you the peace youâve wanted since sheâs walked into the room.
That night when you return home, youâre unsurprised to see the living room in a state of disarray with clothes and suitcases all over the place.
 And somewhere in there, amongst the mess, is your girlfriend. Folding clothes and panicking over which shoes to bring.
Stepping more fully into the space, you can make out her figure sitting on the couch.
Carefully traversing the space, you make your way to sit beside her, wrapping an arm around her shoulders.
âHey Dri,â you say, pressing a kiss to the side of her head, âI see youâve been busy.â
Leaning into your embrace she responds, âWell I tried. How was your day?â
âSame as always, put some ink under peopleâs skin, and tried to ignore Evieâs antics.â
That gets a small laugh out of your girlfriend, the woman leaning even further into you as her exhaustion becomes clear.
Pulling her as close as possible, you let her take a moment, running a hand gently up and down her back until you feel her all but melt into you.
âSo,â you say after some time has passed. âI think that you should figure out what youâd like to order for dinner. And in the meantime I can finish up your packing.â
You feel Dri nod and mumble her agreement into your chest although she makes no attempt to move.
âYouâll have to let me up for that, of course.â
A headshake.
âSo weâre just gonna waste away here on the couch?â
A nod.
âIf thatâs what you wish, then I guess it would be an acceptable way to die: here with you in my arms,â you say, pulling her practically on top of you. âAlthough I had kind of hoped it would be many many years from now, not you know, today or tomorrow.â
âYouâre an idiot,â Dri says, leaning away from you so she can sit up.
âIâm fine with that,â you respond with a laugh, âmostly because I know that you also think that Iâm very attractive and good in bed.â
âAnd insufferable.â
âThat too,â you agree, sliding off the couch to sit on the ground, surrounded on all sides by suitcases, clothes and shoes. âGo order something to eat, Iâve got this under control.â
And you really meant that because 25 minutes later when the food arrives, youâve managed to mostly clear up the space, having pushed two full suitcases off to the side.
Dinner is mostly eaten in silence, the two of you content to just be in each otherâs presence with the tv providing background noise.
The conversation after that is kept light, neither of you wanting to address the fact that in less than 24 hours, Adriana will be on a plane back to the United States without you.
So you talk about anything and everything else. How things are going at the shop, the latest family drama provided to you by your mothers, everything but the inevitable.
Later that night, after youâve both crawled into bed, the topic seems to be keeping you both awake so you canât help but say whatâs on your mind.
âDo you remember a few months ago, when we had all of your teammates over her and you kept telling me that I was worried for nothing,â you ask, but you continue before she can answer your rhetorical question. âI think that youâre overthinking this whole Portland thing, especially since weâve already talked this over.â
âBabeâŠâ
âNo, hear me out Dri,â you interrupt. âYouâll go to POrtland and Youâll get the minutes you need before this summer. Meanwhile, Iâll be back here doing what I do best, everything will be fine.â
âIâm not worried about that. Last time we were an ocean apart, you and your brother crashed into the back of an 18-wheeler.â
âLuckily for us, my brother is back in Canada.â
âYouâre not funny,â she says, and you can just make out the glare sheâs sending you through the tiny bit of light creeping in from the window. âAt all.â
âWill it make you feel better if I told you that Iâve accepted a guest artist spot at Chicoâs new shop in Portland?â Adriana sits up suddenly turning to face you.
âYou waited until now to tell me this? After letting me sulk all day?â
âIt seemed to be very important sulking,â you try to explain but it comes out more as a question.
âYouâre the worst.â
âAnd you love me for it,â you remind her, pulling her to lay back down against you.
âHey, the powers back!â I heard Adrianaâs muffled voice say downstairs as I drifted in and out the next morning. That made me snap my eyes open and look at the sleeping drummer next to me. He showed no signs of waking up any time soon but I knew it was only moments before- âHey, where are Vin and Chole?â -that.
âShit. Vinny. Wake up.â I hissed, shaking his shoulder. He blearily opened his eyes and looked up at me.
âYou look beautiful in the mornings.â He murmured, reaching up and cupping my cheek. I could feel the blush rising to my skin and grabbed the pillow to shove over his face.
âShut up!â I grumbled, climbing out of the bed and scrambling to find my clothes.
âI wonder if they are upstairs. Iâll go find them.â Kyle said. I barely managed to pull on my shirt and dive back into the bed, hiding my red face under the covers, when he opened the door. âGood morning you two.â I didnât have to lift my head to hear the smirk in his voice.
âSheâs- erm⊠still asleep.â Vinny mumbled. I silently thanked him and stayed still so I didnât give myself away. I could not stand the embarrassment of facing him right now. He knew what we did and I knew we were probably going to get an ear full later.
âWell wake her up then. Mums making breakfast. Hurry up.â I heard the door click shut and finally emerged from my cocoon to look up at him. His messy red locks hung in his face, some what hiding the soft smile he was giving me.
âGood morning baby.â He whispered when we were alone.
âWas last night real?â I asked.
âWell if you mean did we fight and then have steamy make-up sex before actually getting together then yes it was.â He snickered, leaning forward to kiss me. I kissed back for a moment before pulling back.
âVin, we have to get up.â I was still conflicted about if this was actually happening. I half expected him to laugh in my face at any moment and tell me I was a fool. He tugged me closer and buried his face into my neck, placing gentle kisses along my collar bone.
âJust a few more minutes cuddling my girlfriend please?â He begged all sweetly. I loved the way girlfriend rolled off his tongue with ease and it made butterflies burst to life in my stomach knowing that it was me he was referring to.
âFine, only a few though. We canât keep your mum waiting forever.â I rolled around and grabbed my phone to see that it was 8:30 and I had a few texts waiting on me.
H: Merry Christmas Bestie. I miss you and Iâm sorry Iâm not there to be with you today but Vinny assured me that he would make it just as magical. I will make it up to you when Iâm back in town. I promise.
R: Happy Holidays brat. I actually feel bad about stealing Heather away from you. I didnât know how much it meant to you for her to be there. I promise Iâll make it up to you when we get back.
I rolled my eyes at Rickys text but with how weird things had been lately I wasnât just going to dismiss it. I went back to Heathers text and opened it to respond.
N: Merry Christmas Heather. Vinny has been incredible (surprisingly) thanks for helping him with my gift. It was adorable. I miss you too. We are so going on a girls date and catching up when you get back. I love you.
Once I responded to her I went back to Ricks text and read it a few more times before taking a deep breath and typing a response.
N: Yeah, well if you stopped being a dick for two seconds and actually listened to our conversations maybe you would know. I still hate you.
I hit send and immediately regreted it. He was trying to be nice and here I was being the problem this time. If he was going to make an effort to be friends then I should too.
N: Iâm sorry. A lot has happened this holiday break. Iâm a bit defensive. Iâm willing to try to make nice for Heather but thatâs it. Deal?
R: Wow, tbh I didnât expect you to respond. But yeah, I deserved that. Its ok. I did have one request though. I-
The text cut off and I watched as the typing bubble appeared and disappeared at the bottom of the screen for 3 minutes before they stopped. Finally, the rest of the message came through.
R: I want to propose to Heather, and I wanted to know if you would go ring shopping with me. I want her best friend to help me pick out the perfect ring.
My jaw dropped and I spun around in Vinnys arms. He whined at the sudden movement and pulled me tighter against him to restrict my movements.
âDid you know Rick wanted to propose to Heather?â I asked in shock. He opened his eyes only a slit to glance at my screen and closed them again.
âHe mentioned that he was thinking about it but I didnât know he had decided.â He shrugged. I wacked his chest and huffed in annoyance.
âYou should have told me!â I glanced back at my phone and groaned.
N: Iâll have to go with you or you are going to pick out some ungodly flashy ring and sheâs going to hate it. You better make her proposal magical or Iâll never forgive you
R: Thank you so much.
N: Whatever asshole. Donât make me regret it.
âHow nice of you. Maybe you two will come out of this as friends.â Vinny teased me. I looked up to see he had been reading my texts and rolled my eyes, smacking him again.
âUnlikely. Heâs a dick. But I love Heather and she loves him so I have to make sure he doesnât fuck it up.â I pressed a kiss to his lips to halt his impending snark and sat up, finding the rest of my clothes from the night and putting them on.
âHey, let me look at your arm, Pokie.â I sat down on the edge of the bed and held out my arm. âItâs not blead that much but we should change the bandages just to be safe. You never let me change it last night.â
âWe got a bit distracted if you remember.â I giggled.
âOh and it was a wonderful distraction.â I rolled my eye as he tugged me back down to give me another kiss. I indulged him for a moment before sitting back up and moving out of his reach.
âShut up and get ready. They are waiting for us.â
âYou really like telling me that.â He teased. He stood up and pulled on his sweats from yesterday before leading me out the door and downstairs to the couch. âSit there and stay.â He murmured, going into the kitchen for something. Adriana was rolling up the air mattresses while Kyle was folding the bed sheets.
âSo, you two disappeared last night.â Addie smirked, making me blush.
âThe power came on at like 3 am. We went around to make sure there werenât any issues and fell asleep in his bedroom.â I shrugged.
âIs that all you two did?â Kyle jabbed at me with a grin.
âNone of your business nosey.â Vinny snapped, returning to the living room. He had gone and gotten us both drinks from the kitchen. He set them on the coffee table before turning to me. âOk, let me see youâre arm.â I gave it back to him and he undid the bandage, tossing it in a nearby trash can and grabbing an antiseptic wipe. I let out a whine at the stinging pain but it quickly subsided. âSorry baby. Almost done.â He wrapped new gauze around my arm and tied it off. âThere we go.â With a kiss to the cloth, he let my hand go and dropped his arm across the back of my shoulder.
âDid you sleep well?â Addie asked, wiggling her eyebrows at my drummer boy. He smirked.
âOh, I slept wonderfully thanks for asking.â He said cooly.
âReally? It was a bit chilly for me. But I guess when you have a body warming your bed it can get pretty steamy.â Kyle looked at Adriana with a grin. There was the teasing I knew was coming and I rolled my eyes, burying my head into Vinnyâs shoulder.
âBoys and girls. Stop torturing Vinny and come to the dining room. Iâve made breakfast.â Rosa called.
âAwe come on mum! Weâre just having some sibling fun. Ainât that right little bro?â
âI think Iâm the one who had fun. Youâre just jealous.â Vinny helped me to my feet and pulled me into the kitchen with a laugh. I giggled and shoved him away playfully before kissing his cheek as we took our seats. I could get use to this.
"Led thru the mist, by the milk-light of moon..."
A warm forest canopy greeted you when you opened your eyes, the vibrant reds and oranges of the leaves dense enough you couldn't see the sky. The surface beneath you was hard and cold, with uncomfortable ridges digging into your back. The air was a little chilly, a little misty. You looked around, trying to get your bearings.
The tree trunks were thicker than you'd ever seen before, the bark on them nearly black, with strange holes and creases that almost looked like faces. Slowly, you sat up, carefully moving your limbs to stretch them out. You were lying on a bench, you discovered, in a small clearing next to a well-worn path.
Why did you wake up on a bench?
How did you get here?
"Hey." The voice was quiet and calm, but it still startled you. You thought you were alone out here. "How are you feeling?" You turned towards the sound and watched as a person came into view, almost like he was materializing from the mist between the trees itself.
"Who are you?" You asked as you moved backwards on the bench, hoping to keep some kind of distance between him and yourself. If you had a better idea of where you were, you would've run.
"I am the Guide," he answered, coming further out of the shadows. His hair was light and windswept, his face soft, his cat-like eyes deep and sharp. He kept his hands in the pockets of his coat. You weren't sure if that was comforting or not.
He also didn't really answer your question. "What does that mean?"
"It's pretty straight forward," he responded, "I guide. And I know you have plenty of questions, so just get them out now."
For right now, at least, he didn't seem to be a danger to you. If he was, he would've done something by now. Or maybe he was luring you into a false sense of security, getting you to drop your guard, and then he would strike. Still, he was offering answers of some kind, and you were in desperate need of those, however you could get them.
"Where am I?" You asked as you looked around again, hoping for greater understanding of the woods you had awoken in.
"You are in the Unknown."
Your gaze shot back to him, the Guide. "What does that mean??" You snapped more than asked, because while that was technically an answer, it still didn't tell you anything.
The Guide only shrugged, "If anyone knew, it wouldn't be called 'the Unknown', now would it?"
You could only blink at him, at his non-answers that he probably believed to be helpful. It took you a moment to regather your thoughts and move on to the next most pressing question. "Okay, so, what am I doing here?"
He didn't respond immediately this time. Instead, he opened and closed his mouth, the look on his face growing increasingly more frustrated. You glanced down, a movement in his coat pockets capturing your attention. It looked like his hands were shaking, or maybe he was clenching and unclenching his fists.
"I can't tell you that," he finally said, his voice less soft and comforting, carrying a bit of that frustration in its tone.
"Why not?"
"I can't tell you that either," he huffed. You opened your mouth again, but he continued, "And before you ask why again, know that I want to. I always want to. But I can't get the words out of my mouth. I'm not allowed to."
You felt just as frustrated as he looked. "So what can you do?"
That question seemed to relax him again, his body returning to its odd stillness as he continued to stand there. "I can tell you about the options you have now that you're here."
"Options?" You repeated. "Like what?"
The Guide finally pulled one of his hands out of his pockets, holding a single finger up. "Well, option one: you can walk off in that general direction," he gestured to your right, "towards the light, and enter into the Great Unknown." You turned to look where he indicated.
The path that the bench was next to led either left or right, and the way right was significantly brighter than its opposite. Despite the friendly glow, you felt unnerved.
"But don't people always say 'don't go into the light'?" Because going into the light often meant death.
"And you could listen to them," he said. "Those who choose to go into the Great Unknown are never seen or heard from again. But ultimately, that choice is up to you."
So that way was definitely death.
You looked back at him, hoping for something better. "And option two?"
"Option two is wandering around the woods here," the guide looked around at the trees, "until you eventually and inevitably turn into an Edelwood tree, whose woodâaccording to legendâis then harvested and turned into oil to be used in some ancient lantern that harbors the soul of the Beast that also wanders the wood."
Now you looked at him like he was crazy. "I'm sorry, what??" He didn't miss a beat or bat an eye, his voice stayed the same even, monotonous tone, he said all of that like it was just another day here, wherever you really were.
"According to legend," he repeated, then shrugging, added, "again, no one really knows. Supposedly, a couple of kids arrived in the Unknown a while back, and they defeated the Beast before taking their leave." He looked away from you again, turning his gaze to the closest tree and slowly looking up. "But if the Beast were truly gone, then why are people still turning into Edelwood trees?"
You paid closer attention to the trees surrounding you now, with their nearly black bark and face-like holes and creases, and felt hundreds of empty eyes fall on you in return. How many people had wandered through the woods here for the forest to become this dense? How many ghosts of screams could you hear echoing on the breeze?
How long would it take the same fate to befall you?
"Is there a third option?" You asked, much more subdued than your recent questions. Part of you wondered if the trees could hear you as well.
"Of course," the Guide answered, and you felt your shoulders relax just a bit at that. "Your third and last option is to spend a month in Devil Town."
You had to close your eyes and take a moment to breathe, to tell yourself to remain calm. "Devil Town."
"Yes. It's not an actual town of devils, that's just its name."
"And no one knows why?" You guessed, opening your eyes to glare at him again.
He merely shrugged, "If we did, it wouldn't be in the Unknown."
You forced yourself to breathe slower, counting to ten in your mind. Yes, the Guide had answered every question you asked, but every answer was a non-answer. They didn't satisfy any of the curiosity you possessed, they simply led to more questions and even more non-answers.
"So my options are, one: definitely death; two: becoming a tree; or three: going to someplace called Devil Town?"
"For a month."
"Huh?"
"If you choose to go to Devil Town, you can only stay for a month," he explained.
"What happens after a month?"
"You get kicked out and you have to make an official choice. Either the Great Unknown, or the woods."
"So if death and tree are my only options in the end, then why bother with Devil Town at all?"
"Well," he started, but then paused. He looked frustrated again, like there were things he wanted to say but wasn't allowed to. Finally, he sighed. "They're your only options in the end right now. Depending on how things go in Devil Town, when your month is up you could have some other, more rare options opened up to you."
That was the first bit of good news you had heard since you woke up. "Like what?"
"Like..." he paused again, still struggling against whatever force was trying to keep him silent. When he spoke again, this time he sounded strained. "Like staying in Devil Town permanently, or, even more unlikely, going home."
You almost stood up in excitement. "If I spend a month in Devil Town, I can go home?"
"Maybe. Again, it depends. There's a lot of things that factor into that becoming an option, and very few have ever achieved it."
"But there's a chance," you insisted.
"Yes," he conceded, starting to relax again.
Part of you wanted to jump up and start heading to the ill-named town, whatever direction it was in, but the other part of yourself held back. "Is that chance worth it?" You dared to ask.
"That's up to you," he responded, yet another non-answer.
You rolled your eyes, wondering when this cycle of questions and non-answers was going to end. "Well, you're the guide! Guide me!"
The Guide shook his head, "I can only guide you towards the Great Unknown or to Devil Town, but you have to choose first."
Something about that made you curious. "Did you choose Devil Town?"
"I did," he nodded, "and then I chose to stay."
"What's it like there?" If this was your best option, you at least wanted to know as much about it as you could before you officially chose it.
He shrugged, "Life's alright in Devil Town. There's not really much to do there, but plenty of people to talk to."
"When does the month start?"
"Once you set foot in the town limits. After that, you have to stay within those limits, or things start getting⊠messy."
"Messy how?"
"I can't talk about it," he almost snapped, probably getting annoyed at your ability to ask questions he can't answer the way he wanted to. You wanted to ask about that, but figured he wouldn't be able to tell you about that either. "Now, is Devil Town your choice?"
You took one last look to your right, towards where the Great Unknown lied, and then looked up at the trees around you. Death and tree would not give you a chance to get home. You took a deep breath, relishing the cool air, and stood up. "Yes. I'll go to Devil Town."
The Guide nodded, then turned towards your left and started down the path. "Follow me."
You walked behind him in silence. He didn't seem to be much for conversation now that you had made your choice. You looked around as you walked, trying to take in and appreciate your new surroundings, but the trees all looked like they were watching you and you couldn't hear any animals hiding up in the branches. The only sounds you could make out were your combined footsteps on the dirt and the wind rustling through the leaves.
You weren't sure how long had passed before you finally cracked and broke the silence yourself. "Do you have a name?"
"I am the Guide," he responded, rather curtly in comparison to your earlier questions.
"That's a title," you shot back. "Do you have a name? Something people call you when they're talking about you or they're trying to get your attention?"
He didn't answer you right away, and you thought he wasn't going to, that you would go back to walking in silence. After a bit more walking, however, he sighed and said, "I did once. Now I am the Guide, and that's how people refer to me."
"Just, the Guide? There's nothing else?"
"Yes." He stopped walking to turn and look at you, and you nearly ran into him. "Whoever we came to Devil Town as, that's not who we are anymore, so we don't have these 'names'." The Guide turned around again and continued on his way. "You'll understand more after some time there."
You didn't move for a moment, lost in thought wondering what he meant. How did someone just not have a name anymore? And why did he sound a little sad when he said it?
You shook yourself from your ponderings and ran a bit to catch up with him. The last thing you wanted was to get left behind, in fear that you'd end up lost and then turn into a tree anyway. You didn't ask him any more questions, instead letting him guide you in peace.
Soon, you could see a break in the trees ahead of you, and through the mist you could make out the silhouettes of buildings. You started to feel anticipation crawl up your spine as you grew closer, and you wondered at what point you crossed the town limits. Had your month started already?
You could practically feel the mist on your skin as you came out of the tree line, moist and sticky and cold. You wrapped your arms around yourself and walked a bit closer to the Guide, not wanting to lose him. In front of you, Devil Town came fully into view.
The streets were made of cobblestone, with not a sidewalk or stoplight in sight. People loitered around the sides of buildings made of brick, or by lampposts that flickered as if their light was from a candle instead of a lightbulb. Everyone was dressed similarly, in coats that looked fuzzy and warm, with plaid scarves wrapped tightly around their necks. Many of the adults wore formal hats, while children had beanies or earmuffs.
It was like you stumbled into a ghost town that someone had decided to bring back to life, albeit unsuccessfully, and the remnants had yet to fade away again.
As the Guide led you further into Devil Town, an important question came to mind. "Where will I stay?" There were so many small buildings and even smaller shops, but you had yet to see anything that resembled a house or apartment complex.
"With the Fool," he answered, though it didn't give you any more confidence. "He has a book shop with a spare room. That's where most people like you stay until the month is up."
"How do I unlock the option to go home?" You whispered this question, not wanting anyone to overhear you. Home must be a touchy subject for those who were still here. "Is there something specific I need to do?"
The Guide only sighed in frustration, a sound you were starting to get used to. "I can't tell you that." It didn't deter you this time, you simply changed your question.
"What can you tell me?"
He took his time answering you again, this time waiting until the two of you were standing in front of a wooden door. With one hand on the doorknob, the Guide turned to look at you. The intensity of his gazeâlocked dead onto yoursâforced you back a step.
When he spoke, that intensity was carried through his voice, quiet but pointed. "Devil Town is tricky, and those who are here are trickier. Whatever it is you are running from, it won't catch you here. It can't. But that doesn't mean you're safe. Don't trust anyone, not even me, and especially not yourself."
He didn't give you a moment to recover, to process his words, before turning the knob and pushing inside the building, leaving you to follow after hesitantly.
"Ah, the Guide!" A new, deeper, cheerier voice said. "What brings you here? Another lost soul to harbor?"
You didn't like the term lost soul.
You looked around as they spoke, at the shelves and shelves of books. Or, book. Maybe you were tired or maybe you had become too confused, but it looked like every book was an exact copy of the one next to it: same height, same thickness, same color, same title.
What kind of bookshop only sold one book?
"Yes," came the response from the only person you had met so far. "Is your spare room empty?"
"Of course!" You finally looked at the new person, the Fool, the Guide had said. He was much taller, and was actually smiling at you, with deep dimples in his cheeks. He seemed much kinder than the Guide had when you first met him, but his words outside the shop still reverberated around in your head. "It's right this way," he gestured behind him, "please follow me, miss" He trailed off, waiting for you to introduce yourself.
That was when you realized, the Guide had never asked for your name. He never wondered who you were, beyond "another lost soul" to guide through the Unknown.
Don't trust anyone, not even me, especially not yourself.
What scared you the most, however, was that you couldn't answer his question.
"I don't remember," you told them, your voice small and shaky in a way it hadn't been since you woke up on that bench. You were confused, you were concerned, but you hadn't necessarily been scared. "I don't remember my name." You looked back and forth between them, hoping for some kind of help, though you weren't sure what either could offer you.
The Guide merely blinked at your words, probably having heard them before, countless times from countless others he's had to do this with since he chose to stay here. The Fool continued smiling at you, also not concerned but seeming to offer you more comfort.
"That's alright," the Fool shrugged, "you can pick out who you are later. I'll help you, if you like." You wanted his offer to be kind and generous, but it only reminded you of the conversation you had with the Guide on the way here and it only added to the fear that now had a solid grip around your throat.
Still, you walked towards the Fool, wanting to lay down and rest and get a proper moment to think and process everything that had happened. You did try to keep your distance from the bookshelves, still put off by the repeating book.
"Take care of her," the Guide said, taking his own steps towards the door.
"You know I will."
"I know you will try," the Guide sighed, "we'll see what happens. And for you."
You looked back at him, "Yes?"
"Your time has started. Be careful with what you do with it." The Guide turned away, his hand on the doorknob. He didn't turn it, though, instead his knuckles were turning white with how hard he was grasping it. "And whatever you do, stay away from the Loner."
The Guide sounded strained again, like he was specifically trying to get those words out, like it was something he wasn't supposed to be telling you but managed to anyway.. With that final warning, he pulled the door open and exited the bookshop, leaving you alone with the Fool.
"Don't mind him so much," the Fool tried again to comfort you as he led you down a small hallway and up a short staircase. "He tries to act all intense but he's practically harmless." You didn't respond, still worried about too many things, still trying to process everything that was happening.
He stopped outside a simple wooden door and gently pushed it open for you. "Here is your room," he said, "get yourself situated, rest if you like. I'll be downstairs."
You stepped into the space, cozy but still void of any life. A single bed, a chair in a corner, a wardrobe in the opposite one. The window was thin and didn't have much of a view, but it didn't let the cold in.
"Thank you, um..." you trailed off, still unused to the strange naming system. You felt especially uncomfortable calling him the Fool.
"The Fool," he said for you, still smiling. A strange and silly part of you wanted to poke his dimples, just to see if they were real. "And you're welcome. Don't worry too much about forgetting your name. Like I said, we can pick one out for you."
With that, the Fool left you alone, closing the door but not all the way, giving you space but letting you know if you needed something you could go to him.
You went over to the wardrobe, gently tugging on the vintage-looking knobs, worried they would pop out if you pulled too hard. The doors creaked open, showing you clothes similar in fashion to what the people in town were wearing, all dark tones with simple patterns, somewhere between vintage pioneer and modern school uniforms. You shrugged off your current coat, the long, dark brown one you didn't remember how you had gotten, and hung it up on an empty hanger.
Then you tenderly sat on the bed, testing out the mattress before putting your full weight on it. It wasn't the most comfortable thing in the world, but it was better than the bench you woke up on.
Why did you wake up on a bench?
How did you get here?
What had you gotten yourself into?
Aconteceu e gostei. (Out-2023)
By; DrĂ
Oi Meu nome Ă© Adriana, Dri para os Ăntimos, sou casada, tenho 32 anos, como a histĂłria que eu vou narrar Ă© sobre sexo, vale a pena me descrever, sou loira, 1,65, seios bem grandes (siliconados), bunda bem redondinha, fruto de muita academia, barriga lisinha e traços bem finos, modĂ©stia a parte, chamo a atenção por onde passo.
Se perguntarem porque traĂ meu marido, eu nĂŁo sei responder, tenho um marido Ăłtimo, bonito, vaidoso, malhado, que ganha um bom dinheiro e me dĂĄ muita atenção e carinho, alĂ©m de um sexo constante e sempre muito bom, apesar de bem bĂĄsico. Tenho alguns tabus sexuais que ele respeita e nĂŁo insiste, nĂŁo faço anal, nĂŁo gosto de chupar, principalmente um saco, acho nojento, e nĂŁo gosto de gozada na boca, jĂĄ recebi e quase vomitei, nĂŁo me senti bem. Sou uma pessoa bem reservada e elegante, me cuido muito e me visto muito bem, nĂŁo uso calcinha comum, sĂł uso lingeries de marca e carĂssimas, nĂŁo por nada, apenas para me sentir poderosa e confortĂĄvel.
Meu marido, Matheus, precisava viajar, sexta-feira, isso não era muito comum de acontecer, mas as vezes acontece. Fui para casa mais cedo, fizemos amor gostoso e por volta das 19h levei Matheus para o aeroporto. Quando voltava para casa, jå pensando em pegar uma pizza e dormir a noite toda, quando recebo uma ligação da minha melhor amiga, Laura, me convidando para ir ao aniversårio do namorado dela, em uma famosa balada de SP, fiquei de pensar se iria ou não, eu gosto de dançar e o Matheus confia muito em mim, então, as vezes me dou o direito de me divertir um pouco.
Fiquei pensando se iria ou não, fui pra casa, tomei um banho, deixei a depilação em dia, sem segundas intençÔes, somente vaidade mesmo e deitei pra comer minha pizza assistindo Netflix, håbito que adoro. Por volta das 22h, recebo uma mensagem da Laura
- âMiga, vc vem ou nĂŁo? O Matheus nĂŁo vai ficar bravo, vem, preciso da sua companhia, os amigos do meu namorado sĂŁo muito chatosâ.
Fiquei uns 5 minutos pensando e decidi ir, sĂł para me distrair mesmo, tanto que nem me produzi muito, fiz uma maquiagem bem de leve, vestidinho preto bem soltinho (estava muito calor) e uma linda lingerie tb preta, sexy e confortĂĄvel.
Cheguei na tal balada e sentia que a noite seria Ăłtima, eu sĂł nĂŁo sabia pq ainda, encontrei a Laura e fui pro camarote onde ela estava com o namorado e os amigos, ela me apresentou a todos e nos sentamos, começamos a beber e conversar e de vez em quando Ăamos para a pista dançar um pouco. Reparei que os amigos dela nĂŁo paravam de olhar para o meu decote, afinal tenho seios grandes e bonitos, no vestidinho eles ficavam bem apetitosos eu diria. Fiquei na minha, afinal, amo meu marido, e apesar dos dois amigos serem realmente lindos e sarados, eu nĂŁo estava ali para isso. Resolvi que iria parar de beber pois iria dirigir, enquanto os demais enchiam a cara.
De repente Guto, o namorado de Laura começou a passar muito mal e todos ficamos preocupados, decidimos levar ele pro AP da Laura pra cuidar dele, eles estavam de uber, depois de conversarmos um pouco, me ofereci para leva-los pra casa, pois estava de carro e havia bebido pouco, fomos os 5 pro AP de Laura, fui eu dirigindo com o Douglas ao lado (um dos amigos), Laura, Guto e Murilo (o outro amigo) foram no banco de trås.
Ao chegarmos lĂĄ, demos um banho no Guto e colocamos ele para dormir, Laura ficou lĂĄ no quarto com ele e eu estava me preparando para ir pra casa, quando Laura me chama:
â Dri, dorme aqui
â NĂŁo, preciso ir embora
â Pq ? Ta tarde, Ă© perigoso, o Matheus nĂŁo esta em casa
Percebi que ela tinha razĂŁo, nĂŁo tinha pq me arriscar no meio da noite, decidi dormir ali, apenas fiquei meio receosa pois os meninos tb iriam dormir lĂĄ e o AP sĂł tinha um quarto, eu teria que dormir na sala com os 3, atĂ© cabia, mas achei meio constrangedor, mas no fim, acabei topando. Os meninos dormiriam um em cada sofĂĄ e eu em um colchĂŁozinho. Nos ajeitamos para dormir, mas acabamos iniciando uma conversa, uma longa conversa, sĂł eu, Douglas e Murilo, perdemos a noção do tempo e em poucos minutos riamos alto das vĂĄrias piadas que os rapazes faziam. Eu que antes estava com um pĂ© atrĂĄs com os meninos agora me sentia amiga de anos deles, a ponto de atĂ© falarmos sobre sexo, eles contando histĂłrias deles e eu contando as minhas com o Matheus (meu Ășnico homem atĂ© entĂŁo).
Eu entĂŁo disse que estava com sono e resolvi dormir, nos despedimos e ficando em silencio tentando dormir, de repente, de relance, olhei para o lado e vi que o Douglas estava deitado sĂł de cueca e percebi um grande volume enchendo a cueca dele, nĂŁo consegui desviar o olhar, fiquei hipnotizada com aquele homem delicioso a ponto de morder os lĂĄbios de tesĂŁo, o que eu nĂŁo sabia Ă© que Murilo estava acordado e me assistindo babar no amigo dele, quando percebi que ele estava olhando fiquei sem palavras e vermelha, ele sorriu e me disse:
â Gostou do que viu? kkkkk
â kkkkkk, nĂŁo vi nada demais uĂ©, nĂŁo dĂĄ pra saber se gostei ou nĂŁo
â Entendi, bom, o dele eu sei que Ă© grande pq eu jĂĄ vi, mas diz entĂŁo o que vc acha do meuâŠ
Ele disse isso e tirou a cueca, não deu nem tempo de protestar, quando vi, ele estava de pau duro, um pau bem grande e grosso, com a cabeça avermelhada, olhando pra mim com cara de safado, eu não sabia o que dizer nem o que fazer, mas nunca havia visto algo daquele tamanho, fiquei realmente hipnotizada. Nos segundos seguintes eu não sei o que me deu, fiquei com os olhos vidrados naquela rola e engatinhei até o sofå onde ele estava exibindo aquele monumento, não falamos nada, eu apenas coloquei minha mão e lentamente punhetei a rola dele por alguns segundos até lentamente levar minha boca ao pau dele e comecei um boquete digno de uma profissional, chupei bem lento, bem babado, subindo e descendo naquele pau delicioso.
Naquele momento, esqueci todos os meus tabus, estava fora de mim e com um tesão inacreditåvel, tanto que caà de boca no saco dele, chupando as bolas, sentindo o gosto de virilha suada que me dava tanto nojo e naquele momento me dava apenas tesão, fiquei louca, tão louca que nem tinha percebido que o Douglas estava acordado e ficou em pé ao nosso lado, com o pau bem duro ainda dentro da cueca, quando percebi ele em pé ao meu lado, não pensei, puxei a cueca dele e comecei a mamar o caralho dele, que era um pouco maior que o do Murilo mas um pouco mais fino, chupei do mesmo jeito, lento, gostoso, babadinho, chupei o saco dele, enquanto fazia isso ele dava batidinhas com o pau no meu rosto e eu fui ficando maluca de tesão.
EntĂŁo, parei de chupar e o Douglas tirou meu vestido, elogiando meus seios e minha linda lingerie, me deitei no colchĂŁo e ele veio pra cima de mim, chupou bastante um dos meus seios enquanto o Murilo chupava o outro, eu fui a loucura e jĂĄ gemia bem gostoso. O Douglas entĂŁo foi pro meio das minhas pernas e lentamente tirou minha calcinha, que nesse momento estava ensopada, o Murilo ajoelhou ao meu lado e colocou o pau na minha boca enquanto o Douglas terminava de me deixar pelada.
Quando tirou minha calcinha, Douglas abriu minhas pernas e caiu de boca na minha xoxotinha, chupando muito gostoso, passando a lĂngua de baixo pra cima, pincelando o grelinho, chupando meu cu, de repente parou com a lĂngua bem dentro da minha buceta, deu umas linguadas e me fez ter um orgasmo forte e gostoso e eu gemia baixinho, alias, minha gemida Ă© baixinha e manhosa, o Matheus adora, mas nesse momento, era o Douglas que me fazia gozar, enquanto eu mamava o Murilo.
Douglas veio até mim e tirei o pau do Murilo da boca, para beijar a boca do Douglas, ficamos uns segundos beijando, até que ele se ajeitou no meio das minhas pernas e começou a me foder, sem camisinha mesmo, senti o tranco daquele pau enorme me invadindo e batendo lå no fundo, senti as forte estocadas dele e ouvia o barulho do saco dele batendo na minha bunda, aquele ploc ploc gostoso, enquanto isso, Murilo ainda colocava o pau na minha boca, com o ritmo da foda, chupei mais acelerado e de repente, do nada, senti os jatos de porra do Murilo invadindo minha boca e eu que nunca gostei disso, segurei o pau dele na boca enquanto os jatos de porra inundavam minha boquinha, esperei ele terminar e deixei o pau limpinho, tudo isso com o Douglas comendo minha buceta.
O Murilo afastou um pouco e me concentrei no Douglas, que metia forte na minha buceta, fui ficando louca e logo gozei de novo, dessa vez na rola dele. Ele esperou eu terminar de me recompor e me colocou de quatro no colchĂŁo, encaixou-se por trĂĄs e enfiou o cacete dele na minha bucetinha, voltando a comer minha buceta com força, voltei a gemer manhoso enquanto era fodida pelo meu novo macho, em pouquĂssimo tempo, ele nĂŁo aguentou mais e gozou dentro da minha buceta, me enchendo de porra, muita mesmo.
Senti a porra de outro homem escorrendo da minha buceta foi maravilhoso, mas nĂŁo deu pra curtir muito, Murilo jĂĄ estava com o pau duro de novo e nĂŁo perdeu tempo, se encaixou atrĂĄs e mandou vara na minha xoxota, comeu minha bucetinha muito gostoso e fui ficando louca novamente.
Ele então, saiu de trås, deitou no colchão e não disse nada, eu percebi o que ele queria e sentei no pau dele, que estava bem duro e deslizou fåcil pra dentro, comecei a rebolar gostoso e gemer cada vez mais alto, enquanto quicava no pau dele, Douglas parou ao meu lado, com o pau duro de novo, eu percebi, virei a cabeça pro lado e comecei a chupar o caralho dele enquanto sentava no Murilo, não demorou nada e gozei de novo, pela terceira vez, e quando eu gozei, dei uma travada tão forte na buceta que Murilo não aguentou e gozou tambem, misturando as porras dentro da minha xoxotinha.
Nesse momento, achei que tinha acabado, ainda estava em cima do Murilo, com o pau dele dentro de mim e chupando o Douglas, ele segurou meu rosto e pela primeira vez falou comigo:
â E ai, o que esta achando dos nossos paus ?
â To adorando, vcs sĂŁo gostosos pra caralho
â Que bom, mas o meu ta duro ainda, quero gozar de novo
â Quer gozar como gatinho ?
â Quero gozar na sua bundinha⊠dentro delaâŠ.
Eu nĂŁo sei o que me deu, eu tava fora de mim, saĂ de cima do Murilo, dei um gostoso beijo nele e pedi pra ele sair do colchĂŁo, entĂŁo, me posicionei de quatro no meio do colchĂŁo.
Ele então se colocou atrås de mim, passou o pau na minha buceta que estava completamente melecada de porra e mirou no cuzinho. Enfiou com tudo, me fez sentir um raio de dor invadindo o corpo, ele esperou um pouco até eu acostumar e começou a comer minha bundinha bem devagar, fazendo carinho nas minhas nådegas e nas costas, fui relaxando e aproveitando a deliciosa enrabada.
A sensação de ter o cu fodido (algo que antes eu nunca gostei), sem camisinha por um pau diferente era deliciosa, eu estava nas nuvens e em pouco tempo gemia gostoso enquanto Douglas entrava e saĂa, bem devagar, parecia que queria aproveitar ao mĂĄximo aquele momento, logo olhei pra frente e vi Murilo ajoelhado na minha frente, com o pau duro, pensei comigo mesmo âuau, mas jĂĄ ?â, dei um risinho safado e comecei a chupar ele novamente, estava sendo enrabado e chupando uma rola ao mesmo tempo, duas coisas que nĂŁo sou muito afim, me sentia uma puta, talvez eu fosse mesmo, mas aquilo estava uma delicia e eu sĂł curtia.
Douglas aumentou o ritmo, eu aumentei a gemida e passei a chupar mais råpido também, logo, Douglas encheu meu cuzinho de porra e eu quando senti ele gozando, gozei também, mais uma vez, Murilo tirou o pau da minha boca, punhetou um pouco e gozou de novo na minha cara, me deixando com a cara toda melecada de porra, de repente eu estava com a buceta, o cu e a cara cheias de porra, deitamos os 3 exaustos no chão, sem falar nada, apenas nos recompondo, quando olhei pro corredor do AP, vi Laura em pé, com a mão dentro do shorts se masturbando, ela sorriu pra mim e apenas disse:
â Que show hein amiga, mas relaxa, o Matheus nunca vai saber dissoâŠ
â A quanto tempo estĂĄ aĂ ? â perguntei
â O suficiente pra ver vc levar gozada em todos os buracosâŠ
Demos uma gostosa gargalhada, dei um beijo em cada um dos meninos e fui tomar um banho bem gostoso, Laura me deu shorts e camisetinha dela para dormir, trocou os lençóis e me deitei de novo, os meninos tambem foram pro banho e logo depois dormiram.
No dia seguinte, peguei o zap dos meninos, tomei um café e fui pra casa. Quando cheguei em casa, fiquei pensando no que tinha feito mas não me senti muito culpada, acho que me senti muito mais aliviada do que culpada. Lembrei dos meninos e de tudo que nunca gostei de fazer mas com eles eu fiz e foi bom, a cada coisinha que eu lembrava, dava um sorrisinho safado, aos poucos percebi a calcinha molhando novamente.
