Danny grumbles, going limp as the Spirit plucked him up, holding him out like some sort of stray cat. Their golden eyes stared across him, white hair shimmering and bloodied feathers rustling as they tilted their head. 

“You sure he’s not somehow ours?” Bludhaven asks again, setting him down once more to circle. Amity laughs, wild hair the color of wheat fluttering in a non-existent breeze and portal pulsing like a heart as she rests a hand on his head. 

“Well darlin’, I am asking if you would be open to adopting,” the Spirit laughs, the sound as familiar as the birds outside his window in the mornings. “Well, I suppose I could always ask your dear sister Arkham-” 

“No no, I would be honored,” Bludhaven smiled a literally sharp grin, something mischievous and violent about it in a way Danny was slowly growing used to. “I’m just- look at the little ghostling! He looks like he could be from ours! My hair, your eyes… he’s just missing markings…” 

“Markings he’ll get once you give me an answer darlin’...”

“OH- Yes, of course! Sorry, I got whelmed there.”

disclaimer i really do have no idea how old these dogs are lol. theyve been around since at LEAST 2019 and according to this blog post about all the rider's dog situations, shira is the more recent addition of the two weenies, which seems confirmed by this 2019 post where alex is celebrating bringing her home:

that all being said, i cant find any pics of either as puppies or pre-dating 2018ish, and shira does have a lot more grey on her muzzle than when they got her, so i think its safe to safe to say she's a little on the older side

Thinking about the fact that Ingrid has two younger half brothers, one maternal and one paternal, both of which were passed off as her full brother when they were babies (Barry/Wolfie for only a few days, Vlad for years), both of which are given a name at birth that they don't use/go by (Wolfie was called Vlad for awhile, then named Barry, then called "Wolfie", while Vlad was named Adam by his mum and renamed Vladimir by his father) and both of which she is very loud about disliking and are at various points rivals displacing her as the Dracula heir but when it comes down to it she cares about them greatly and is pretty protective. And both are half vampires, Wolfie being half vampire half werewolf while Vlad is half human.

I'm not sure where I'm going with this it's just intresting. Like when they were writing the show I don't think they had the ending planned at all, or the Vlad is half human twist, so you can't really call all the things he has in common with Wolfie delibrate forshadowing but in hindsight it's really intresting. Especally the counts willingness to surplant Vlad with the new baby because at the time he beleived that his beloved Magda had finally given him a son, as apose to Adam/Vlad who wasn't Magda's and only half vampire making him actually quite a dangerous bet as an heir. And Ingrid imerging as the true Dracula heir in a lot of ways despite being a girl actually makes a lot of sense because she is actually the count and Magda's only biological child (while not legitimate since they weren't married, they are basically common law married and act as if they are a devorced couple so Ingrid is as legitimate as the count is gonna get) and also out of the three Dracula children (counting Wolfie in this group as he was claimed as a Dracula at birth and then the count technically raised him for a bit) she is the only full vampire non-hybrid.

Also the fact that Vlad and Ingrid's sibling dynamic is super important to the show and that they both end up with younger maternal half siblings that they do care about a lot but the primary sibling relationship seems to remain Vlad and Ingrid because of their expirences growing up together... it just feels important. Like they both having younger half siblings is something they have in common despite it being completely different siblings. (makes me kinda sad we never got a scene of George and Wolfie interacting and maybe teaming up to help Ingrid and Vlad somehow).

How's Ondolemar gonna handle it when Theodora dies of old age?

First, I'll start with their ages. Theodora was born 4E 177, making her 24 at the start of Skyrim and she meets Ondolemar in 4E 204 at 27. They get married when she's 32.

I don't have an exact age for Ondolemar. I have him born after the Thalmor took power (4E 42) becuase I think it works best for his character to only know a world with the Dominion. So this means at most he's 162 when he meets Theo. I think I like around 150 so we'll go with that.

I headcanon that being Dragonborn does allow you to live a bit longer (this might be a canon thing too I can't remember). With the races of men living a max of 100 years, Theo makes it to 125. Probably could have lived longer but my girl did not take the best care of herself in her younger years. So they get 90 odd years together, not bad :)

It would be hard when she does pass, it's something they talked about because baring him being killed, she will die before him. Thankfully by the time that comes he still has their children, as well as some grandchildren <3 So he's not alone. But there is a noticeable absence without her. I think he'd cope by spending time with the family they've built and being happy they got what they did since they never expected to be able to have anything long term. It's hard to lose her but they had so much life together <3

It's not WIP Wednesday but I really wanted to share a bit of my WIP of the sequel of Blank Space and yes this one will actually feature Akari/Kieran!

Forty-nine days after Kieran’s funeral, Juliana received a phone call. It was one phone call more she ever expected to receive from Kitakami, not that it was unwanted. It was very wanted. Sort of. Mostly because she was still struggling with guilt, and with anger. With a lot of things actually. Juliana had always been struggling with something, but at this point she was over it. The struggling thing, not the phone call. That she was fine with, especially because it was Kieran’s Grandma.

Especially because it was Carmine’s Grandma. Not Kieran’s. Because he was dead.

Okay so Juliana was kind-of a hot mess but who wasn’t these days? Her phone was on its fourth ring, and she wasn’t sure what she should say so she didn’t say anything and let the call go to voicemail. That she could deal with. 

Then the anxiety actually got a bit worse when she opened her mailbox ten minutes later to listen. She needed to scream into her skwovet plush first though, until her brain gave her the courage to do so. But she didn’t need to worry because the message was nice because Kieran’s Grandma was nice.

Because Carmine’s Grandma was nice. 

You know what it was easier to just think of them as Ogerpon’s grandparents. That was kind  accurate (not really), but whatever. Congrats Ogerpon you’ve officially been adopted! Inside Juliana’s head at least. So Ogerpon’s Grandma was super nice, like literally the nicest old lady ever because not even Juliana’s own Grandma was as nice as her. She hadn’t actually even seen her Grandma since they moved to Paladea last year. Or her dad. Or her brother…

So Ogerpon’s Grandma’s message wasn’t that bad, it actually made Juliana miss her more than she already did. In it she gave her usual “Hello, dear,” that always made Juliana feel fuzzy. “I’m sorry if I’m catching you at a bad time, I’m still not too sure on the time zone difference here, I don’t think it’s too different from Unova? Or is it six hours off? Oh I can’t remember! It’s been a while, and I know last time we spoke was after the funeral and that wasn’t exactly the best time for us all. But Hideko and I just wanted to let you know that we’ve been thinking about you and miss you and Ogerpon a lot. If you get the chance, would you mind calling me back? It’s nothing serious! Just a little tradition here that I wasn’t sure if you wanted to be a part of. Talk to you soon!”

(i was off work for a week and had to work today) and she kept asking me how i was doing and what i have been up to and why i havent come in for work for so long and i was so confused but also touched bc this lady and i dont know each other at all yet she notices when im gone for so long and smth about that is so sweet idk. almost makes me feel bad that ill be gone for another week LMFAO

When was the first time you played through PSO?

Oooook so I need to have u kno trying to answer this has put me on the wild goose chase and this has taken me a bit to respond to, and I don't exactly have a good answer. I've gone through narrowing down release dates, server shut down dates, and what I've posted here throughout the years. The last time I played through the story missions was in 2015 when my PC was dead and I liveblogged it here, however I claimed to have already played through the story several times at this point, however the memories are extremely foggy. So I had to search from here sorry for yapping to make my confusion understandable;

When I first experienced PSO, I was a child estimating ages 7-8 visiting my Father's house, where he was playing it online on the Dreamcast.

Not too long after I inherited the Dreamcast (my father had no use for it after the servers shut down) father was adamant about me getting a Gamecube for PSO. So I got that, but shortly after this, I got the Xbox, which is where I fully experienced the Online of PSO. Dreamcast servers shut down Sept 30th, 2003, so I would have been over age 9 when playing PSO on Xbox. (father likely chose xbox because of voice chat) The crush I played with was 15, 2 years older than me, last we spoke, so that's the best judgement I can use.

When I fully experienced the Online part of PSO, I would pin myself at the ages of 10-13, though I only had Xbox live for about 2 years.

I had hax on my Xbox character. Like, beat Falz on ult in 10 minutes hax, (AND I FUCKIINNN MISS THAT) so story missions would have been a breeze. With this all considered, I was likely either around those ages, or no later than 15 when first playing through the story.

So this is all mostly middle school/early high school for me?

I find it also worth mentioning, I've never really put PSO down for over a year since first playing it. Even when I couldn't play it online, I spent time on xbox playing with carrying certain things (items, stacks) to see how drop rates were effected while just...playing through it for the scratch. Its always been my favorite game and that's how I am with favorite games, same with many Zelda titles. I had a lot going on in my family, and silly high school issues, so I would absorb myself in what made me the most happy. PSO and Majora's Mask are the games I still instinctively run to when I'm going through it :3

Out at the dark forest was a young sheep named MoonCloudz or referred to as 'The Sheep in Black Cloaks' was off to go see her friend Beta Luigi who was very sick.

The forest's god Coronation Peach made her a basket out of dead wood and the sheep filled it with sweet green apples from the pink trees.

"All set for Luigi!" MoonCloudz's fluffy tail wags in excitement to her basket full of green and red sweet apples. "Very good my child, now make sure not ANYTHING dangerous can come across your way." The forest god pats her woolly head like how a mother does to her child, and then he waves at MoonCloudz walking off further into the forest.

As she follows through the forest... A tall figure stands behind a tree—holding out a bloody cleaver in his two hands stained in blood.

He emerges from out of the shadows and approaches the cloaked sheep with a sadistic, creepy smile on his face, along with his red pupils glowing brightly in the darkness.

"Hello there... lamb~" He chuckled, "what do you have-a got in this... little basket of yours?"

"Just... some green and—red apples for my friend Beta Luigi. He's feeling pretty sick, so I'm delivering these for him."

"Oh... why how sad of-a him... but perhaps you can be a dear sweet lamb, such as yourself can pick some of those little roses here." The demonic wolf tilts her head with his finger on the sheep's chin. "I'm sure he will love those very much, mia cara~"

The Cloaked Sheep's cheeks turned light red, "Gosh... you do have a way of... compliments."

The wolf chuckles, he wraps his arm around her shoulders. "Now... why don't you go ahead and choose the roses over here~" As he now takes her around to the field of crimson red roses.

"Whoa... they're so pretty."

"Yes, pretty they are... You go ahead and take some, while I... be waiting over here for you cara~"

Mario arrives at Luigi's house, and then knocked on his door.

"...y-yes, wh-who is it?" The plumber looks at the door, while in bed.

"It is your dear friend; The Sheep who was in the Black Cloaks! Would you kindly let me in?" The sadistic voice responded outside of his home.

"...y-yes... you may... come in."

The door opens, now letting the beast coming closer to the scared plumber. He grabs him by his throat and lifts him out of his bed.

"No one can help you... nor your dear friend will be able to hear you from now on~" He chuckled sadistically, from then he throws him into an closet and locks him out, just so that the sheep won't be able to hear the plumber pleadings.

He then gets into his green hat then his mint green nightwear, and getting himself into bed.

"Luigi? Luigi? Are you... there? ...in your room?" The sheep asked.

"Yes cara mia~ Come in... come in~" He motioned with his clawed finger.

The young sheep opens the door and enters in.

"Come to me... my little cloaked sheep~"

As she got closer to him. Her head tilted curiously of her friend's... 'strange' appearance.

"Luigi, what... bleeding, glowing eyes you have!"

"All the better to see your cute looks~"

"But Luigi, what... fuzzy ears and sharp claws do you have!"

"Why, all the better to feel your soft little face my dear~"

"Luigi, what... really sharp teeth you have!"

The demonic Mario chuckled as he rises out of the bed and cups her face with his two claws. "All the better... to taste your sweet little lips, cara mia~"

Her body shivers so nervously along with reddened blushing face.
