The third volume you've all been waiting for is here! Following the success of our previous two volumes, the Zine, Please! team is proud to announce we'll be bringing you another volume full of Check, Please! goodness made by the fans for the fans!

As with our previous iterations, this will be a multi-month affair, with sign-ups happening in October 2024, check-ups happening throughout the process, and the zine being published in free PDF format in June 2025.

'Swawesome things come in threes! For this volume, we want you all to explore the shenanigans, celebrate the triumphs, and dive into the inner workings and dynamics of all your favorite Check, Please! trios!

There's endless trios to choose from, some more familiar than others. I mean, who can forget the most iconic canon trios? We're talkin' Ransom, Holster, Lardo! We're thinkin' Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot! We're screeeamin' Chowder, Dex, Nursey!

If you're willing to go outside the box, think about trios you'd love to see together who the fandom hasn't seen! Who among us is brave enough to put the Jack's Type Trio of Bitty, Camilla, and Kent in a room together? KINITOPET THEORY: SONNY_C IS KINITO

#1. if you type kinitopet.com/email in your real web browser this image pops up "as the subject of your article has unfortunately passed away", DID KINITO KILL SONNY OR SOMETHING?? THE HELL?? i think that whenever kinito pulls someone into his digital world, it kills them in a way. he asks them for admin permission, then uses that power to do the shit he's doing so, those people in the command prompt are dead! ___________________________________________

#2. i don't know if you can see the image, but i've looked at the command prompt when it was deleting kinito and it says "removing file [sonnys_world.zip] from server ["kinito"]" which is pretty interesting... i'd also like to say, i think that dead body in sam's house is one of those people that you see in the command prompt... i do have a theory about sam and jade being humans but there's not much evidence except for sam's hanging body and when jade(?) says "i'm back here again, aren't i?" ___________________________________________ #3. the "IT'S NOT TOO LATE" email decoded

i find this email especially very, very interesting. the line "a soul enshrouded, a spirit's mournful chime" is most likely about the other trapped souls... i honestly do not know what else to say about this poem, other than the fact that it is very impressive how the person wrote it so uniquely! this does imply some dark stuff though, like how kinito traps the souls of the players in the computer. ___________________________________________ #4. the "EJSY SZ O?" email decoded (click the images to expand)

"I FEAR THAT WHEN YOU DELETE THAT SERVER YOU WILL DELETE ME" OHHH now we're talkin.. seeing at the very end, this makes me think that kinito took some of the stuff that sonny was saying in his head, and saying it directly to the player when he got deleted (kinito GUILT TRIPPING us god damn). and, from this email, sonny appears to be having an existential crisis! maybe the ai is feeding off of the souls' emotions for its own gain. it learns and adapts, remember? also, the "I KNOW THEORETICALLY I AM NOT REAL BUT I FEEL REAL" line makes me think that kinito took over sonny's mind for just a little bit. does kinito feel empathy after taking all these poor souls? honestly i'm seeing a lot of similarities with tadc and kinitopet (even though kinitopet came before tadc with the trailer but STILLLL). souls being trapped in a digital world with no escape, and some ai that apparently wants to be your friend...ALSO CIRCUS THEMED ESQUE STUFF _________________________________________ #5. this guy from the kinito plush ad

am i the only one who thinks that this might be sonny? or, some completely different soul that arrived before you? _________________________________________ #6. the messages on the computer when you delete kinito

these messages hurt me to the bone. sonny used the power he had left to contact you in those last lines, saying his final goodbyes to you. he knew that it was inevitable for his fate to come, and it did. maybe the player burning the computer was freeing the souls somehow... you know DAMN WELL i thought of henry emily's speech while seeing that computer burn to a crisp i dont have a good conclusion for this but this is my theory that sonny_c is kinito (in a way)... But hey! that's just a theory. A GAY THEORY Wrong one A GAMMEEEE THEORY if i find more, i'll be sure to update this also i apologize if this isn't very well structured.. i just grabbed this stuff and said "holy shit sonny chamberlain is kinito"... i'd love to hear other people's theories though! i made this post at like 1 AM so that's why it's poorly written

Admin actually gonna respond here because this made me feel a lot of things. The boys are also grateful, cue Virgil being awkward about compliments and Janus saying it’s about time people started praising him more.

I started this blog as somebody who just discovered the series a few months ago, hadn’t tried writing these guys before, and hadn’t written really anything in serval years. Plus after I started this I started looking around at other ask blogs and seeing they had like whole storylines and detailed AUs and plot lines and I planned to stick to more or less canon…the analogical was a surprise to me but I can’t act like I didn’t sprinkle it in 😂 but I was worried people would find this take on them boring.

All this to say I just wanted to take this message to give a big thank you to the people who follow me and send me asks. This is a really fun thing to do and while it was hard to get past my anxiety with some asks because I was worried the boys wouldn’t sound “correct”, I always love reading the little responses on the tags.

…actually I’ll let the boys say a couple things.

J: I mean she’s right, it is about time people start complimenting me more.

L: I can’t act as though some of these asks have…confused me to say the least (mostly ones about eating drywall) but if anything we have said has led to somebody searching and learning more, it’s all worth it. I can deal with talking about eating aquarium gravel on occasion if it means I’ve helped uncourage a further search for knowledge.

V: This isn’t exactly how I saw this all going, mostly because Janus and Remus are here way more than I wanted (meaning at all) but yeah I guess it’s pretty good.

someone who apparently doesnt have tumblr has submitted to the form that they wanted me to make a post about this (which is possibly the most hilarious way to get me to make a post btw) so here we go

you can filter ao3 tags by comments! its at the top of the filtering sidebar. then you can go to the last page and you'll almost certainly find fics with no comments. you might find things you missed when they were posted, or hadn't considered before, or read at some point but forgot/didnt have the energy to comment.

this is how i found the original fics for the spreadsheet before i started getting submissions!

It's been one heck of a year lovelies, including this being the anniversary of me starting this blog! If those of you that are still here from before, my old blog was shadow banned and no answer from the help team until 6 months later which lead to the creation of jazeswhbhaven!!!

I want to thank every single moot/follower/lurker/dedicated anons for sticking around with me and being patient with those requests (that I'm still working on 💀🥺) also for all interactions and love!

I may not answer all of you all the time, but I see the comments and tags. This fandom has been a pleasant experience and I'm glad I stuck around and made this blog 🖤 I hope next year I continue to entertain ya'll.

EYE, I am not making too many promises, but I do have some fancy new things I'd like to implement for this blog! I know that I did an audio react earlier this year, and during a survey ya'll were receptive to having a hybrid of those mixed in with my written reacts. I will do my best to do more of those as they take a bit longer to create/edit.

I really like my fankid, Cain and I also love the requests that come in for me to write about him! I will possibly dish out more Cain content and his siblings next year, (i know ya'll dig Astra too (i hope) I will not neglect her since ya know SHE BE MY MC FOR WHB) Errrr if there's anything else I don't even know. oh, so ya'll may or may not see later in the year (we'll see how everything goes for this game and fandom) but I plan on going to a local convention (we're talkin' like late august/september so quite a while away) and cosplaying Amy~ I like his outfit alot actually and seems the best suited for the weather that's here in the south. I may also do Abyssos uniform MC (I have purple hair) too~
