REQUESTED? Yes • [No]
WORD COUNT: 331
SUMMARY| One day you would start your family.
Adm Note: Last post for the night! Honestly, this could be written better, but I will fix it when I wake up in the morning. I love all of your guys, Goodnight! <3
Tumblr media
You didn’t miss the way his eyes burned into your figure as you calmed down the fussing toddler, your niece was staying with you while her father was out of town for work. She had been an angel for most of her stay but whenever it came time for her nap, she would throw a fit; all her energy was exploding at the seems, and if you could bottle it to sell you would be rich.
You ran your fingers through your nieces messy curls of hair, gently pulling apart knots in her hair, Chishiya watched with a look of longing in his eyes; you knew he would be an amazing father from how he acted with your niece.
There was only one problem; you didn’t want to have kids.
It was a conversation you two have had before, and you have said for years that you didn’t want to have children, not because you hated them; in fact it was the opposite, you adored your four year old niece. You just didn’t want to have them.
After softly tucking in your niece and pressing a kiss to her forehead, you made your way out of the room, turning off the lights until the room lit up with a gentle blue glow from her nightlight.
Chishiya was silently following you too the kitchen, where he then spoke “You’re good with her.” causing you to turn and face him.
“I know I said I don’t want to have kids but what do you think about adopting?” You didn’t want to have kids, but you wouldn’t be opposed to having kids. You didn’t want to put yourself through the pain of pregnancy and childbirth.
“It would not matter to me if we adopted or fostered kids, they would be our children and I would love them just the same.” He answered, having walked to you while talking and moved to wrap his arms over your waist.
“One day.” You answered against his lips.

Ain’t No Sunshine When She’s Gone-Chapter VI
Robert ‘Bob’ Floyd x Female Reader (no use of y/n)
Goodbye for now
(previous chapter here, next chapter here)
Tumblr media
Warnings: smut, same ol’ same ol’.
You wake up to a loud thump and groan from the living room. “Everything okay out there?” You call, too tired to check yourself.
“Yeah. I’m okay, Steve launched me off the air mattress.” Mickey responds with a laugh, “Not the ears, buddy!”
Bradley’s head pops up on the other side of Bob. “I know I was drunk last night but…we didn’t, uh…you know, me and you…with Bob?”
You laugh, throwing a pillow at him. “You’re an idiot”.
He laughs too, “I kid, I kid. I would definitely remember a night with Bobby here”.
Bob sits up with a yawn. “How’d you end up in here Brad?”
“Not sure. The last thing I remember is laying on the bed and telling you should try it, see to how comfy it is” Bradley says, trying to recall.
“Yeah okay, I remember now. I said why not and laid down too. Must’ve fallen asleep.” Bob replies.
“More like you both passed out,” you laugh, picking up your phone to show them the picture you got.
“Well, next time Sunny’s in the middle, Bob kept pushing me all night” Bradley complains.
“You kept nuzzling my neck with your mustache, it tickles!” Bob argues.
“Wait, Next time?” You ask.
“Yeah. Now that I know your bed is this comfy, I’m crashing in here every time I have too many beers with Pete.” Bradley says matter of factly as if you have no say.
Before you can argue, there’s a knock at the door. “Bob, I’ll take Steve out for ya. Penny’s making breakfast if anyone’s hungry” Pete says, already heading back down the stairs, Steve in tow.
You hear Nat and Jake stirring, talking with Mickey as you stretch. You’re all a little worse for the wear this morning, Jake’s missing his shirt, Mickey can’t find his shoe, and your hair is a rats nest, but hey-no one’s puking, so that’s a plus.
________________________________________
Pete takes a call when you’re all eating, everyone looking more alive with some food in them.
He comes back a few minutes later, looking grim. “That was Adm. Simpson. The mission’s been moved up. We leave tomorrow at 0800, and report to base at 0700.”
His words weigh heavily in the air, shifting the energy in the room from carefree to tense instantly.
“You too?” Penny asks. He nods, unable to meet her eyes.
Dread fills you at that. They’re all going, the best of the best. It’s definitely something serious.
Everyone finishes eating and cleans up in near silence, needing to get home to pack and tie up loose ends. You follow Bob to his truck, giving him a kiss and a promise that you’ll be over later, as you have to prep for the upcoming week first as well.
You strip the beds, vacuum, meal prep, and clean. As you’re putting the clean blankets back under your bed, you find the Polaroid camera you got for Christmas and a lightbulb goes off. You have an idea.
You find your prettiest lingerie and scroll TikTok for tutorials and poses before changing into deep red lacy boy shorts that hug your ass just right, paired with a matching push-up bra, you slip on a pair of red-bottomed heels you splurged on and you’re set. You set the camera on a step stool and set the timer. It takes a few practice takes, but you get it on the 3rd try.
You capture different poses in various states of undress. You have to admit, you look pretty damn good in the light of the early afternoon sun. You picture Bob finding them and getting all hot and bothered, jerking off to them. You end up pulling out your vibrator and bringing yourself off quickly, snapping a few pictures during, too.
You pick several of your favorites and place them in an envelope before writing: ‘For Lt. Bob Floyd’s eyes only’. You seal the envelope with a lipstick kiss and squirt a spray of perfume in the air before waving the envelope through it. Perfect.
You shower and pull leggings with an oversized tee before packing an overnight bag and you’re on your way.
________________________________________
Bob and Steve meet you at his door, taking the bag of takeout you picked up.
“All packed?” You ask as you kiss his cheek in greeting.
“Yeah, pretty much. I’m still waiting on a few things in the dryer. Not sure if you heard yet, but Mav said we can take our phones. We’ll have limited access but at least we’re allowed to have them this time”.
You breathe a sigh of relief. “Oh good.” You were dreading not being able to talk at all. The dryer dings and he leaves the room to get the clothes, you slip the envelope in his bag under some socks.
“I should’ve asked sooner, but my sister is stopping over in a bit to pick up Steve, are you okay meeting her?” Bob asks, plopping the clean laundry on the couch to fold it.
“I don’t mind at all. Annie, right?” You say, walking over to help him.
“Yep. She and her husband Mike, are taking the girls to Disney in 3 weeks, leaving on the 19th. Would you want to take Steve if I’m not back by then? I can board him if you can’t or prefer not to” he asks.
“Oh, I’d love to have him! I would’ve taken him the whole time but I’m not sure what my call hours will be yet, I’ll find out more tomorrow when I accept the position. I’m sure Amelia will kidnap him when I’m not home too” you joke.
“Thanks, that’s a relief knowing he’ll be in good hands. I hate this is all last minute,” he sighs, dropping the shirt he’s folding to pull you in for a hug. “I know this is new, but I’m—I just don’t want to leave you yet.”
“I don’t want you to either” you mumble into his chest.
________________________________________
You finish folding the clothes and help him pack, a little nervous that he’ll discover your gift, but soon he zips his duffle closed.
The doorbell rings as you two dish out the food. “Come in!” Bob calls.
“Hey, whose car is that in the drivew—oh, I’ll bet it’s yours. You must be Sunny…the pretty nurse from Minnesota that I keep hearing about?” She smiles, holding out her hand as Bob flushes.
You laugh, shaking her hand. “That’s me, and you’re Annie-the brilliant statistician and lifesaving sister.”
“I’ll take that over the ‘annoying little sister that he never wanted’ I heard all the time growing up” she teases.
“I literally only said that once…after you smashed the Hot Wheels track I had spent hours making,” Bob argues.
“Whatever you say. It’s nice to meet you though,” she smiles, turning her attention back to you.
“Likewise. Have you eaten yet? I brought plenty of food” you ask.
She nods, “I did. I’d love to stay and chat but I left the girls with the neighbor since Mike got called out to a fire. I wanted to bring them with me, but Harper keeps getting carsick if she rides more than 10 minutes and I really didn’t want Steve to eat it. Speaking of, I should really put a call into her doctor about that…” she rambles.
You try and hide your smile—she’s the complete opposite of Bob.
“It’s alright, I understand. Thanks again for taking him on such short notice. Sunny said she’ll take him when you guys go to Disney. I’ll FaceTime if and when I get the chance,” Bob says, hugging her.
“Be safe, okay? I love you” she sniffs, wiping her eyes.
“I will, I love you too. Tell Mike and the girls I say hi” Bob replies, voice cracking a little. You have to look away, or you’ll start crying next.
You take her phone number and text her right away so she has yours. She hugs Bob again and then takes off with Steve. The house feels too quiet.
You finish eating and clean up. It’s only a little after 7 but you both head to the bedroom.
Bob takes a seat on the edge of the bed with a heavy sigh. His head drops, obviously deep in thought. You step out of your leggings, and pull off your tee, leaving you in just your basic thong and bra as you pad over to him in your bare feet.
You lift his chin, surprised to see tears in his eyes. “You okay?”
“Yeah, just…scared” he replies, voice thick with unshed tears.
“Me too.” You reply softly before leaning down to kiss him.
He kisses you back slowly, sweetly, savoring every sigh and shiver. He rises and unsnaps your bra, pulling it down your arms before turning to lay you back on the bed. He strips off his tee with one hand and pushes his sweats off before crawling on the bed.
He kisses up from your ankle to your knee, knee up to your inner thigh. He places a sloppy kiss to your clit through your underwear, and you whimper as he moves on. He licks a path up your stomach, past your navel stopping to give your breasts attention. Your hands weave into his hair as he lavishes your nipples, sucking, nipping, flicking, teasing. “Please, I need…I need more” you whine, tugging lightly on his strands.
He surges forward for a kiss, thrusting his boxer-clad erection against your clit. The head of his cock catches your entrance and he stills, groaning lowly, feeling your wet warmth through both layers of underwear. He takes a shuttering breath before thrusting against you again, careful to not repeat it. “I want…cccan we? When I get back?” He pants into your neck.
“Yes, God yes, please,” you cry, getting close. Your fingers run down his back, before sliding under his boxer briefs to squeeze his ass, nails biting into his skin as you pull him into you harder. “Fuck!” He chokes out, cum soaking the front of his underwear. He continues rocking against you, and the added moisture is enough to send you over the edge too. You cry out into his neck, grinding your hips into his as you ride it out.
He catches his breath before pushing himself off you “I feel like a teenager again, dry humping in the backseat and jizzing in my pants,” he chuckles, rubbing the back of his neck, embarrassed.
“Me too,” you smile up at him, “the only difference is I never got back then.”
He crawls off the bed, slipping off the cum soaked boxers and balling them up, walking away to throw them in the hamper. Your eyes naturally drift to his ass and widen as you see the crescents your nails left. Those are gonna sting in the shower.
“I’m gonna do one last load of laundry, do you want to add yours? He turns back to you, nodding at your underwear. You nod, climbing off the bed to pull them off and hand them over.
You clean up and get ready for bed in the bathroom, putting on the pajamas he left for you.
He takes his turn after you. He returns to the bedroom and wordlessly turns off the light before climbing into bed next to you. He puts his head on your chest and you run your fingers through his hair, putting him to sleep before drifting off yourself.
________________________________________
As always, morning comes too soon. Your phone’s alarm startles you awake at 5:15. Bob rises as you hit snooze. 10 minutes later it goes off again and you turn it off with a groan. You are not a morning person.
You smell coffee brewing as the shower turns on. You hear a yelp. “Jesus Sunny! What’d you do to my ass?!” He hisses.
“Want me to kiss it better?” You say with a smile.
He doesn’t reply, but shower door slides open.
You laugh, stripping your pajamas off and get in behind him.
________________________________________
He brings you to orgasm twice, once with his fingers, and the second time with his tongue.
You kneel to return the favor, but only after you kiss each mark your nails left.
________________________________________
He hold your hand as you drive him to base. The ride is quiet and somber.
You pull in the lot shortly after Jake and Nat.
Jake pulls you into a hug as soon as you get out of the car, knowing you need it.
_______________________________________________
Soon, everyone’s here. You make your way around the other family members to you say your goodbyes, saving Bob for last.
“Bring him home safe?” You ask Nat. “Of course” she replies, tearing up a little.
“No cuddling Bob without me, alright?” You tease. “No promises” Bradley winks, giving you a bear hug.
Bob pulls you in and Bradley releases you, kissing you deeply. Someone wolf whistles and Mickey yells to get a room.
You pull away with a laugh, but tears are brimming. “I’ll be here with Steve when you get back.”
He nods as Admiral Simpson clears his throat. “I’ll be in touch as soon as I can” he whispers before kissing you one last time.
The tears flow as they walk away.

NATO will call for all 32 members to put in place civil defense plans in case of an Article 5-level attack at the alliance’s Washington summit, officials familiar with the plan told Foreign Policy.
“We’re going to push the idea in Washington that all allies should commit to having some kind of national planning process that brings together both the military planning and civilian planning for Article 5,” said one NATO official, speaking anonymously based on conditions set by the alliance.
The move is part of an ongoing effort within NATO to prepare for a possible future Russian attack on the alliance that members believe is likely to include long-range missile strikes, disinformation, disruption of ports, and assaults on the energy grid—similar to what the Ukrainians have faced during the country’s full-scale invasion.
The expectation is that countries may have to plan to fend for themselves while they wait for NATO’s political leaders to decide whether to invoke self-defense.
“You have to be capable of being defendable while waiting for Article 5 to come into play,” said Dalia Bankauskaite, a nonresident senior fellow at the Center for European Policy Analysis, a Washington-based think tank. “You have to be self-sufficient for self-defense within your territory with whatever resources you have.”
The notion that Europe has to prepare for war after NATO’s 75 mostly peaceful years of post-World War II life is slowly becoming the status quo in many allied governments as they grapple with a resurgent Russia that is picking itself up off the canvas from the initial beating it took in Ukraine far faster than anyone expected. But the alarm bells are coming as a shock to the global public square.
Swedish defense chief Gen. Micael Byden’s January statement that all Swedes should mentally prepare for conflict went viral on TikTok. Frightened children and teens flooded the telephone lines of Sweden’s largest child protection group. Then-British Army chief Gen. Patrick Sanders called on Britons to get ready for a level of mobilization not seen since World War II, forcing the press flacks at No. 10 Downing St. to clarify that they weren’t reinstating the draft. (Sanders also got a tongue-lashing from his boss.) German officials have even suggested that Russia could conduct missile attacks against NATO countries.
The reaction within NATO has been to call on member states to further link military planning and civil planning in the event of a regional war. “Deterrence is not only something for the minister of defense and the armed forces—it is a whole-of-society event,” said Royal Netherlands Navy Adm. Rob Bauer, the chair of NATO’s Military Committee. “Financial institutions have a role to play. Industry has a role to play. We need the right infrastructure in our nations to transport military equipment over roads, over bridges. A bridge has to be able to carry a tank.”
NATO countries need sufficient harbor facilities, airports, rail gauges, and energy infrastructure that are not dependent on a small handful of nations. The idea is for each country to have a plan for ensuring continuity of civil government, food, and fuel in the event of a crisis, NATO officials said.
NATO will also have to think about how to deconflict roads and transportation networks in a war if masses of people move west while tanks and logistics trains move east. Countries such as Estonia, Finland, Lithuania, Latvia, and Poland are coming up with plans to evacuate civilians at least 50 miles from the front lines of a conflict with Russia, Bankauskaite said.
The problem of preparedness for an alliance covering more than 10 million square miles and 970 million people—about 4 million of them in uniform—is sprawling. It doesn’t lend itself well to neatly drawn government organizational charts and jurisdictional boundaries; it’s somewhere between defense and homeland security.
But the idea that NATO members need to build up antibodies to resist an attack dates back to the alliance’s founding. Eight years ago, NATO leaders built on that foundation with seven planning requirements for resilience. And they added to that in the 2023 Vilnius summit communique, calling resilience a basis for credible deterrence and defense.
Still, there’s no 2 percent standard for resilience. Just as NATO nations have the ability to set their own defense budgets and structure their own militaries to fit their plans, officials said, member states are likely to be able to set their own requirements for civil defense. The standards will vary from country to country.
“It doesn’t have to be the same, because each country is different,” said one Nordic official involved in the planning. “But everybody should have a minimum level of resilience.”
NATO also has a pool of civil experts to build capacity for resilience in countries that are less prepared. The European Union also has pre-positioned medical stockpiles and supplies of equipment to protect civilians from chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear threats.
Some think that the urgency is still being driven by the United States putting more and more troops in Europe to reinforce NATO soil against Russia. “Since the beginning of this war, the U.S. presence in Europe has steadily gained,” said retired U.S. Air Force Gen. Philip Breedlove, a former NATO supreme allied commander and head of U.S. European Command. “What we see today are further refinements and continued efforts toward getting more ready.”
Historically, the Nordic countries have set the pace for NATO, and many of the new alliance members in the region are already out in front. Newly minted NATO member Sweden has a so-called “total defense” plan that calls on every citizen between the ages of 16 and 70 to help the nation prepare for war, whether through military conscription or assisting with emergency services. Stockholm is set to update the plans this year. They’ve been learning from the Ukrainians: Swedish Civil Defense Minister Carl-Oskar Bohlin has made multiple visits to Kyiv since the Russian invasion began.
Sweden, which already regularly issues a pamphlet to all 10 million citizens with checklists for how to prepare for a terrorist attack or war, plans to update it later this year. “It will reflect the more dire security situation that we are finding ourselves in now,” Bohlin said. There is even consideration about whether to invoke civil conscription for the rescue services.
Finland, which has universal male conscription, can mobilize 300,000 reservists to fight with a snap of its fingers. The Finns also have a rule of thumb to stockpile enough food, water, and medicine to last 72 hours. Helsinki has increased stockpiling requirements for petroleum by businesses and government entities to a five-month supply. Even the mindset in Finland is changing toward a more wartime economy, the Nordic official said.
Countries have also begun dusting off and tallying up their Cold War-era bomb shelters. Sweden has 65,000 shelters, enough for about 7 million people. Finland has 50,500 shelters, with space for about 90 percent of Finns. Norway has some 20,000, enough for about half the population.
The Baltic countries took up “total defense” plans after the Kremlin’s annexation of Crimea and invasion of the Donbas in 2014. Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania are building a 600-mile line of defense installations along their borders with Russia. Latvia has reinstated a military draft.
These are necessary measures, Baltic officials said, with Russia already conducting low-level hybrid warfare activities on NATO soil, from vandalism to beatings of dissidents in Eastern Europe.
“We know for a fact that there is an active kinetic activity happening in the Baltic states, in the wider region, today,” Gabrielius Landsbergis, Lithuania’s top diplomat, said at an event in March at the National Press Club in Washington. “Russia is able to have people for hire that would in some cases vandalize buildings, tear down the flags—such things that have happened in Lithuania—and attack people.”
The call for new civil defense requirements is a window into how European societies are changing—and how they will need to changein light of Russia’s growing military threat. Russia has fired missiles at Ukraine’s electrical grid, kidnapped Ukrainian children, and attacked the transit corridors for much of the world’s grain. NATO is preparing for Russian President Vladimir Putin to use the same playbook in an Article 5-level assault on the allies.
“It’s not only about military effects,” said Bauer, the NATO military chief. “It’s also about hybrid warfare. It’s about energy. It’s about migration. It’s about food. All these things have been used by Putin [and] will be used again by Putin.”
A new reality of preparing for war could have expansive ripple effects on civilian life after seven decades of mostly peaceful times on the continent. But NATO nations will need a plan to deal with Russia’s efforts to target civilians—through attacks on critical infrastructure and buildings, neighborhoods, and schools as well as through disinformation that has been on display in two years of full-scale war in Ukraine.
NATO militaries have become adept at dealing with small numbers of wounded soldiers in the past two decades, as most of the alliance fought in Afghanistan. But in an Article 5-level war, there might be mass military and civilian casualties all at once, and hospitals may need to run around the clock.
The logic goes that the quicker NATO countries can prepare, the readier they will be for massive numbers of troops to flow in. Especially in NATO’s front-line states, where nations are on heightened alert about Russia’s hybrid threats, there’s a desire to start pushing back.
“They are pushing the line,” said Landsbergis, the Lithuanian foreign minister. “They are testing us. And I’m sure that somewhere down the line, we will have to start pushing back

FOOTMOJI DON'T YOU EVEN DARE IGNORE THIS
This will be about the Pro-Israel thingy
1.First of all:
-no I'm not "Friends" with 404.
since when I found a post exposing them with screenshots that we're about them on discord sexualizing the TD cast (as far I can remember they we're doing that) I never interected with them again.
2.Second of all:
-About the pro Israel account...
Until I say anything about this topic, I need to tell y'all that I'm Brazilian. And on here is not very common to see people talking about the Palestine vs Israel war. And at that time I didn't knowed about what to do about when someone that was pro Israel liking my posts
So when that happened I was confused "should I follow them back? Should I just block them? Should I just ignore them?" So then I followed them back.
Until I go to the next topic, I want to say that I'm not Pro Israel or something. When that account started liking my posts I just followed them back thinking it was alright because "oh they're being nice so it's nice to follow them back"
But then, after some days that I followed the account @ferocioustrout Sended me a adm with a Discord post talking about me, Skunkbutts and the pro Israel account. After some minutes of Pine explaining to me why that happened, I went to the account and unfollowed & blocked it. She told me that it was all okay now and that she already explained to your server that it was all a misunderstanding then it all got back to normal.
And also... THAT PRO ISRAEL DRAMA THAT I WAS ON IT WAS ON FEBRUARY, WE'RE CURRENTLY ON APRIL. WHAT HAPPENED TO I STILL HAVE CALLED YOU GUYS ATTENTION ON SOMETHING THAT I AM NOT ANYMORE??
My apology was "quick" because I was desperated of someone start to treat me or make a group of people get against me. At that time I was confused of what to think about the pro Israel account
And no, i don't and NEVER interected with other Pro Israel accounts
Please answer this ask
I WILL NOT ACCEPT ONE OF YOUR FOLLOWERS ACCUSE ME OF SOMETHING THAT ALREADY STARTED AND ENDED
“So when that happened I was confused "should I follow them back? Should I just block them? Should I just ignore them?" So then I followed them back.” is fucking wild ngl !!!
a few things i wanna address:
1.) ur so rude oh my god turn it down a few notches, and this is why my response is gonna be rude just tryna match the energy in the room
2.) its not a war its a genocide
3.) the pro israel account followed me a while back too guess what the first thing i did after seeing the words “pro israel”. i BLOCKED THEM!! and even if i didn’t block theres no chance in hell i would’ve followed them back! cmon!! use that little brain of yours !!!
4.) i find it insane that it only took someone calling you out on following the account to unfollow and block them too
5.) february was 2 months ago you dont get a magical baptism every week
anyways free palestine🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸

According to the Institute for Energy Research (IER), the cost of a new electric 18 wheeler is “two to three times” the price of a new diesel rig, which is one of myriad reasons why this conversion would never take place unless forced by government mandate. IER points out that these new requirements will require the trucking industry to invest $620 billion for charging infrastructure, and “will likely cost utilities $370 billion to upgrade their networks. Replacing diesel trucks with electric will cost the trucking industry tens of billion dollars each year and truckers will need to pass these costs on to the customers–manufacturers and retailers, who will pass the higher costs on to Americans in higher prices for merchandise.”

A24 is not campaigning for ADM this is why the main focus shifted to The Apprentice, that’s it. Industry’s decisions really.
Also we might love ADM more but for him the two performances were both compelling and energy demanding. These are his two children guys!
Maybe it's just how I feel in general about Trump ( i don't plan on seeing the movie) and the rest of the actors on competition because I don't think The Apprentice is going to get him nominations. I would hope that I'm wrong. I also think A24 will campaign for other movies on their slate like SING SING with Colman Domingo.

I know it's annoying and you need to take some time but....When will there be a new episode of Sunshine in hell?
I’m sorry that it’s taking so long to update Sunshine in Hell. I actually wanted to have chapter 7 ready for the anniversary of when the demo was first released, which was a year ago today. Unfortunately I keep letting myself get distracted from making as much progress as I would like.
Between IRL distractions, all the projects I’m working on, my health, and trying to get all the asks in my inbox answered in a timely manner, I’m trailing along.
Admittedly, I’m getting pretty distracted by all these headcanon posts lately. I mean... all you lovely askers send me such interesting questions that make me generate all sorts of ideas for AUs, theories, and headcanons. I’ve written so much in these posts, but I’m afraid the focus I put into them, especially in the longer posts, does pull my attention away from the main series I’m working on.
I want to answer everyone in a timely fashion, but I only have so much energy in a day I feel bad that there are about 30 asks sitting in my inbox and it’s taking me a while to get to them all. Sorry to everyone that it’s taking me a while to get to your ask.
I don’t want to discourage these asks! I love all the enthusiasm and so many kind words. It really does encourage me to keep going. I especially appreciate all the love I’ve gotten for my writing and Alice. It really makes me very happy, and it’s so fun thinking about these things. A lot of these questions have helped me build up the story of Sunshine in Hell behind the scenes. I’ve even written bits of scenes that appear in future chapters because of them.
You know what, to make up for it, and to accomplish my goal at least in part, how about I show a teaser of the next chapter? It’ll be a few paragraphs of the rough draft and hopefully the full polished chapter will be up sooner rather than later.
As a reminder to everyone, this story is for Adults Only. Things get very explicit in this story at times. There’s some spice even in the start of chapter 7 because Jack is a thirsty, thirsty yandere, and he’s still having some pretty perverted thoughts about his sunshine even after his lewd escapades in chapter 6.
I hope you enjoy the teaser. Happy Sunnyversary and thank you for being so polite and patient with me.

...
A dream. That’s all it should have been, but Sunny Day Jack was still there when Alice woke up the next morning. His tentative knocks at her bedroom door jolted her awake in a way her blaring alarm couldn’t.
“Sunshine?” Jack asked, his voice slightly muffled through the closed door. “Are you awake yet?”
Oh, Alice thought distantly. I guess this really is a thing now.
A weary sigh escaped Alice as she dragged herself upright, flinching as the harsh sunlight jabbed into her closed eyelids despite her blinds shielding her from the brunt of its unforgiving glare. She rubbed her eyes as she turned away from the light before fumbling to snatch up her phone and silence the obnoxious ringing.
Another knock came as Alice stifled a yawn behind her hand.
“Alice?” Jack asked, his voice tentative. “May I come in?”
Alice considered it for a moment before sighing again. A part of her wanted to just go back under the blankets and just sleep through all her problems a little while longer, but it felt too awkward to just leave her new roommate waiting for her. “Sure, go ahead.”
When the door opened to reveal Jack, backlit by the hall light, Alice almost had to look away. The bold primary colors he wore were almost too much for her to take in so early in the morning.
“Good morning, sunshine,” Jack said with a smile even more dazzling than his colors. He lit up at the sight of Alice after so many hours without her. She looked adorable while blinking her bright blue eyes at him blearily, her nearly white hair fluffed out like a cloud around her head. He admired how the oversized t-shirt she wore hung off her shoulder, allowing him a tantalizing glimpse of her pale skin while the rest of it draped over her curves. When she stretched her arms above her head, her arched back drew his gaze to her chest, particularly two little nubs poking through the thin fabric. The motion also raised the edge of her night shirt, allowing him to see that her shorts had ridden up, offering him a gorgeous view of her juicy thighs along with the rest of her bare legs.
For a moment Jack could only drink Alice in. His sunshine was just so innocent and vulnerable, utterly oblivious to how alluring she looked in that moment. The fantasies he had the evening before came rushing back to him, now fueled by the delicious sight before him that he feasted on greedily. So much more of her creamy skin laid bare before him, waiting to be kissed, licked, and devoured by his hungry mouth. He wanted to sweep her into his arms and get a taste of those pretty pink lips that beckoned to him, to pin her down to the bed and strip her of those flimsy garments so that he could show her just how much he loved and needed her.
Jack forced those indecent thoughts away with a harsh mental slap across the face before his sunshine possibly caught wind of where his mind went. He thought that he had burnt off all his excess restless energy last night, but seeing Alice displayed before him in such a state sent a surge of electricity through his body, and he struggled to keep himself grounded.
“Mornin’,” Alice said around a yawn that she hid behind her hand, her voice hazy with fatigue. “Sleep okay?”
Jack had to take a second to register what she said, but he bounced back quickly with a smile.  “Sure did. Best sleep I’ve had in a long time.”
“Mm, good,” Alice mumbled as she rubbed her face.
“How about you?” Jack asked, eager for a distraction from his inappropriate thoughts. “Did you sleep well? Have any interesting dreams?”
Just the one I’m living, Alice thought before shaking her head. “I slept okay.” It barely felt like any time had passed since she crawled into bed, but at least there were no nightmares.
“Glad to hear it,” Jack said as he slipped into his familiar cheerful role. “A good day starts with a good night’s sleep.”
Alice wondered if that was a quote from an episode of the SunnyTime Crew Show or an inspirational poster Jack saw once. Hell, he might have had inspirational posters made of him that were now stashed away in someone’s garage or the wall of some vintage media collector’s wall. Regardless, she supposed this was the sort of thing she had to look forward to now that she was living with a children’s TV show host.

OC questions based on @just-admech-thoughts ask post (just-captain-thougts)
(Because I know no one would ask me and I want to flesh my characters out. Any questions I answered in my sheet I will not answer again) ((I will post the link to ask at a later time))

She is particular with both materials and weapons, only taking what was needed.

She regularly visits the house of light and has good knowledge of culture of other eliskni houses.

She is the most optimistic of fireteam Fenrir
21. What do the vanguard think of them?
Ikora adores her as a student and likes the energy and effort she puts into being a Guardian. Cayde thought that she was a squirrel who swallowed an energy drink. Zavala likes how she is a good role model to younger guardians.
22. What does their ghost think of them?
Othonos thinks she can be too energetic and reckless, which scares him. He loves her dearly, though.
23. How many exotics do they have?
Not a lot, considering she steals most from Xäræswulf. The only ones she personally owns are her armor and a few weapons.

Her ship is Centerfire and Holiday thinks it's a fancy and fitting ship for the researcher
37. How is their flying?
Amanda really wished that she was not licensed to drive one but it was too late
38. Which faction would they have killed the most?
The eliksni considering how long she's been around.
39. What was your guardian before they were a Guardian? Do they know?
A meteorologist and biochemist on board the Yang Linwei

At little under a century but this is a guess because I have no reference to when the battle of six fronts happened.
41. What does Shaxx think of their fighting and performance in the crucible?
He facepalms everytime she walks into the crucible. He sincerely hopes that her fireteam will kick her into shape.
42. How loyal are they to the city and the traveler? What would have to happen to test it?
She is incredibly loyal to the city and traveler, in the same vein of guardians who sought guidance from it. However, when Savathûn gained the light, her faith was shaken and she is still trying to come to terms to this day.
43. If your guardian is the type for it, what is their method of pranking?
She is knowledgeable of how people function, so personalized attacks are her go to.
44. What do other guardians think of them?
A warlock way too supercharged on coffee as well as a model guardian
45. Do they fit class stereotypes?
Yes, but only to the extent of her research. Otherwise, her hyperactivity kicks her out of the realm of "normal" warlocks.
46. Are they no nonsense type or jokey type?
A very happy and playful type.
47. Guardians worst fear?
That her faith in the traveler has no merit considering how long she has looked to it for guidance.
48. Guardians favorite Food?
Seafood, especially if it's bite-sized
49. Guardians favorite location?
The dreaming City, due to her distributary Awoken heritage. She also feels some connection to Greece as unknown to her, this was her home country before she was turned into an Awoken.
50. What is your guardians view on gambit?
It makes her supremely uncomfortable, using the darkness in such a way. She tries to avoid it as much as possible.

Russia’s war in Ukraine dominated the NATO summit in Washington this week as the alliance unveiled plans to intensify support for Kyiv and offer an “irreversible” path to eventual membership in the defense pact.
The measures announced this week—including the establishment of a new NATO command to coordinate training and arms deliveries, the delivery of F-16 fighter jets, and a new security compact—underscore efforts underway in Western capitals to shift support for Ukraine to a long-term footing as Russia shows little sign of abating.
Andriy Yermak, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s closest advisor, said Kyiv was “satisfied” with the outcomes of the summit, speaking at a side event on Thursday. “The alliance made real steps forward,” he said.
But the summit also highlighted a central tension in Western strategy to support Ukraine: Military aid has played a decisive role in enabling Kyiv to fend off Russian forces, but it has fallen short of enabling it to actually win the war.
“We’re basically propping up Ukraine to stay in the battle and make some advances and not outright win the battle,” said Liana Fix, a fellow for Europe at the Council on Foreign Relations. “There’s not a real strategy for the war.”
Allies along NATO’s eastern flank, most notably the Baltic states and Poland, have long called for a surging of support to Ukraine. But the allies with the deepest pockets and most sophisticated weapons systems—particularly the United States—have taken a more cautious tack in a bid to prevent an escalation spiral with Moscow.
The renewed support comes as Russian airstrikes have pounded Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, leading to sweeping power outages in recent months. On Monday, as heads of state and government departed for Washington, Russia struck a children’s hospital in Kyiv in broad daylight, a shot across the bow at the alliance. The new NATO measures come “at a critical time and will help Ukraine avert the worst-case scenario this year,” said Michael Kofman, an expert on the Ukrainian armed forces with the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.
“The main priority in all these announcements, particularly on the air defense side, is to negate the areas where Russia has a clear advantage,” said Eric Ciaramella, a former deputy national intelligence officer for Russia on the U.S. National Intelligence Council. On Tuesday, Biden announced that the United States, partnering with other countries, would provide five new air defense systems to Ukraine to help the country fend off Russian missile attacks. “It’s definitely necessary to allow the Ukrainians to stop the bleeding and start rebuilding,” said Ciaramella, now a senior fellow at Carnegie.
But analysts are skeptical that the measures announced this week can turn the tide on the battlefield. “The Ukrainians need more to win than just what we have set up,” Royal Netherlands Navy Adm. Rob Bauer, the chair of NATO’s Military Committee, told Foreign Policy on the sidelines of the summit on Thursday.
The Russian armed forces have bounced back faster than anticipated following their unexpectedly poor performance in the early months of the war and are quickly learning how to counter high-tech new weapons systems supplied by Ukraine’s Western allies.
U.S. officials believe that Russian President Vladimir Putin’s ultimate goal of subjugating Ukraine remains unchanged more than two years into the war, moving his country’s economy onto a war footing. Nearly a third of the state budget this year is earmarked for defense spending, and shipments of artillery from Iran and North Korea have left Ukraine outgunned on the battlefield.
On Thursday, former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, now deputy chair of the country’s Security Council, posted on X that Moscow sees two acceptable outcomes to the war: “either Ukraine disappears, or NATO does.”
Western leaders have reaffirmed their commitment to remain by Ukraine’s side for the long term, with at least 22 countries and the European Union signing bilateral security agreements with Kyiv pledging their continued support for the country’s defense and security.
“We are demonstrating our commitment to stand with Ukraine in their current fight and into the future,” said U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan at an event on the sidelines of the summit on Thursday.
Yet although the Biden administration played a pivotal role in warning of Russia’s intentions to attack Ukraine and galvanizing Western support for the country, it has offered little in the way of a vision for a path forward for ending the conflict.
It’s an approach that stands in stark contrast to the administration’s handling of the Israel-Hamas war, for which senior administration officials have outlined a dubious but detailed multistep plan to bring about a cease-fire and forge a wider regional deal in an effort to permanently change the dynamics of the conflict between the Israelis and Palestinians.
“There is a gaping hole between saying we want to restore Ukraine’s sovereignty and what we’re actually doing,” said Andrea Kendall-Taylor, the director of the trans-Atlantic security program at the Center for a New American Security. “Right now, it just feels like we’re all saying it but people don’t really believe it.”
The administration has faced criticism from Republicans on Capitol Hill for its failure to outline a clear plan for the war in Ukraine. A multibillion-dollar national security supplemental funding bill, passed by Congress this year after significant delay, included a requirement that the administration submit a report to lawmakers within 45 days outlining its strategy for the war, including “multi-year, establish specific and achievable objectives.”
Ukrainian officials have expressed their concerns about being pressed into a peace deal on unfavorable terms, and the Biden administration has reiterated that it is for Ukraine to decide how and when to end the war.
In the interim, the strategy appears to be to bolster the country’s defenses and hope that Moscow punches itself out. “We’re not in full control of that timeline,” said a senior Biden administration official, asked about a path to a just end to the war. “There is one person who is in control of that, and that’s Vladimir Putin. If he chose to back away and end it, he could do that tomorrow,” said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak on the record.
The problem is that Russia is similarly trying to wait out Ukraine and its Western allies.
“It’s ultimately a big psychological game, and Putin thinks that he can win it—that time is on his side and that he can grind down the Ukrainians and our political will to support” them, Ciaramella said.
Despite the pledges of long-term support announced at the summit this week, critics have questioned the longevity of this approach. “It is magical thinking to expect that the current level of allied support can continue indefinitely,” Eugene Rumer, the director of Carnegie’s Russia and Eurasia program, wrote in a recent commentary.
“The challenge before the allies at this summit is bigger than anything they have faced since the Cold War. It is not to keep Ukraine in the fight for the long run but to find a way to end this war without sacrificing Ukraine in the process.”

China has revealed plans to develop a futuristic warship that would include breakthrough technologies that would bring "science fiction to the real world," according to a report.
"It will completely overturn the combat formation of naval fleets that has been in place for over a hundred years," People's Liberation Army (PLA) Navy Rear Adm. Ma Weiming said in a peer-reviewed paper, the South Morning China Post reported.
Tumblr media
The Chinese supership would look to adopt new technology such as rail guns, rocket launchers, laser weapons and high-powered microwaves. The technology would "cleverly and effectively transform the energy from the ship’s power source — nuclear energy — into the electromagnetic energy needed to power" the weapons, Ma wrote.
The admiral argued that these different capabilities would turn a single ship into an "all-purpose" platform that can perform "the traditional tasks of a fleet of conventional ships."
