Starscream currently has the most partners at 6 being Knockout, Breakdown, Optimus, Steve, Megatron and Shockwave 

For now let’s just stick with Starscream, Knockout and Breakdown. Knockout and Breakdown were dating already and after noticing Soundwave, Megatron, Optimus, and Ratchet were trying out being in a polycule(will explain later) Knockout brought the idea up to Breakdown explaining his interest in Starscream fully willing to accept if Breakdown wasn’t down with the idea since they were already happy. It took Breakdown awhile to be convinced not because he had a problem with Knockout dating Starscream but because him being unaware of how polyamory worked thought he would also have to date Starscream. After he agreed Knockout then brought up the idea to Starscream and he after a little hesitation because he maybe sorta thought it was a joke ya know somebody wanting to be with him but was down to try. Starscream and Knockout were both unaware that Breakdown assumed he was also dating Starscream until they were all hanging out and he had to leave for work and gave Knockout a normal kiss and Starscream a kiss on the cheek. Starscream broke for a moment in shear confusion while Knockout had some gears turning in his head but wasn’t actually coming up with any thoughts. After Breakdown got back from his shift they all had a sit down explanation time ending with something vaguely like. Breakdown: oh, so i dont kiss screamer  Knockout: eh if you want to- Starscream: well we werent exactly saying that per say  Breakdown: Knockout: Starscream touched starved:  Breakdown: okay While Star and Knockout get along well enough it does take Star and Breakdown a bit more time to really get each other and their needs but all three of them are happy now.
