The weird teal stain is on. It’s a bit blotchy in some spots, but I can fix that by tinting the first coat of clear that I put on it. One of the biggest drawbacks to building out a tiny home vehicle is designing around your needs and then being wrong, and needing to tear parts out to rebuild. My design for this build is to have the space be easily transformable to suit current needs. A French cleat system and custom cabinets by @ideal_grain are the foundation of my custom build. Once complete, the space will be able to support a wide range of uses! Each slat was milled, cut to shape, and assembled carefully from reclaimed, maple, library shelving to make this modern coffee table. I ended up finishing it with a mixture of beeswax and mineral oil and it looks fantastic!
