A few small things from Wednesday - although Tilly is a big girl now and no one would dare say otherwise in her presence...The mantis was chilly but warmed up enough in the morning sunshine to wave hisher legs at me. Teeny tiny spider was on a picnic table, and the baby magpie has learned from the adults that park visitors may well have food to offer...the whole, extended family were backing up the youngster. The more melanin inside the skin the more the skin is a natural protection against sunburn but this process also makes sure that the skin adopts vitamin D much slower.
