Reading is an exercise in empathy; an exercise in walking in someone else’s shoes for a while.

Why choose to suffer even more when you have already suffered more than enough? Not to mention the fact that, quite often, our worries hinder us far more than the real thing. 🧐
This isn’t to say that there aren’t things to worry about. There are plenty. Too many, in fact. 😟
However, what I am saying is that you can either live in that fear and worry or you can fully grasp the situation, get your mind right, get help if needed, and do something about it. 😃 #noworries — view on Instagram https://bit.ly/3leXXMb

If this isn't life telling you to get off the computer, I don't know what is.

Well, it's become a personal mid-winter tradition at this point, albeit a couple weeks late -- unlike the groundhog's annual prediction of pessimism (six more weeks!), my annual pic represents the cherry blossoming of hope for better, warmer days ahead; seeing all the buds breaking out and letting us know the possibilities of growth and new beginnings remains just around the corner; the days when you cannot bear to sit at your desk one more second and find any reason to bail in order to enjoy the warmer, sunnier outdoors (beating traffic home is also completely valid -- top down, of course). It's the home stretch, folks. #SpringBloom #SpringIsComing #PNW #CherryBlossoms #PacificNorthwest #PNWSpring #flowers #BlossomWatch #BlossomTree #photography #SpringInSeattle #SpringDays #AlkiBeachSeattle #WestSeattle https://www.instagram.com/p/Co87WOWLCMF/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

We have the infrastructure to expand renewable energy right now. Today. The question to ask now is why you're so indebted to oil and gas, two of the most limited, unsustainable, and dangerous resources on earth? Man was meant to innovate, so let's stop dicking around and do what all you "Star Spangled-awesome patriots" claim America does best -- lead the world. #SustainableEnergy #RenewableEnergy #innovation #SolarEnergy
"...we technically have enough materials to build renewable energy infrastructure, actually mining & processing them can be a challenge. If we don’t do it responsibly, getting those materials into usable form could lead to environmental harm or even human rights violations."
